00 Pete Hegsath stood in front of a camera and said that he wants soldiers with rifles to shoot a man dead on live stream on Thursday. 48 hours later, the Bishop of Rome told the United States, no, you can't do that. Why is that significant? Well, I'm going to explain it here in a second, but let me expound upon the story a little bit. Nildal Halzin killed 13 people and wounded 32 at Fort Hood on 2009. He was convicted in 2013 and sentenced to death. On October 2, President Trump approved a military firing squad execution and set the date for December 3 at 1 p.m. at Fort Hood, the exact day and hour of the attack. It would be the first U.S. military execution since 1961 and the first firing squad since World War II. On October 8, Defense Secretary Pete Hegsath told Real America's Voice it would be public. The Pentagon confirms the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will be live streamed. The announcement echoes Secretary Hegsath's promise that the execution would be public. It was a radical Islamist attack in uniform inside the ranks, and so he's going to get a firing squad of soldiers, as it should be. And we'll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it's public, because people need to understand that there's serious consequences for these types of things. Next day, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops answered him directly.

20 Catholic bishops strongly denounce and condemn the planned live streaming, writing, A U.S. senator called the plan medieval in a clip on CNN aired the same week. I mean, that's disgusting. What is he mimicking ISIS executions? I mean, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I understand that in this country we have the death penalty, but public executions is medieval. Then on October 10, World Day Against the Death Penalty, Pope Leo XIV posted it himself. On the World Day Against the Death Penalty, Leo took to X with a pointed message. The Pope wrote, and I quote, The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment.

34 Effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens, while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. He did not name the live stream. That connection is being made by every outlet carrying the story, not by the Vatican's own text. And I want to say that, look, plainly, since this story is still developing, nothing is confirmed about whether or not the courts will even let the live stream happen on December 3. I am not here to tell you whether or not the United States should or should not execute Nidelhazen. Scripture gives the state the power of the sword, and Paul wrote that the ruler is the minister of God to thee for good, but if thou do that which is evil, be afraid, for he beareth not the sword in vain, for he is the minister of God, and revenge to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

32 Now, my personal convictions about killing people is I don't agree with it, but I'll let that ride for the day because there's something much more important. This remains a government question. And now I want you to see something else entirely. Something else caught my attention. The head of a 13 billion member church just told the government of the United States, it may and may not do with its own power over life and death. And that isn't the first time the Pope has crossed Trump publicly. Very liberal person. And he's a man that doesn't believe in stopping crime. He's a man that doesn't think that we should be toying with a country that wants a nuclear weapon so they can blow up the world. I'm not I'm not a fan of Pope Leo. I'm not a fan of Pope Leo.

21 I have no fear. That's not the end of the Trump administration. They're speaking out loudly about the message of the gospel. And that's what I believe. I come to know what the church has gone through. We're not politicians. We're not going to make foreign policies. We're going to do it with the same perspective that we might understand it. But I do believe that the message of the gospel, blessed are the peacemakers, is the message of the Lord. On May 14, I told people to watch for this Pope's encyclical because an encyclical tells you, I did not know it would show up this fast and this publicly aimed right at the White House over the death warrant. And he shall speak great words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and to think to change times and laws and they should be given into his hands until a time, time and dividing of times. This passage describes a power that reaches past its own borders and tells civil governments what their laws are.

24 A book called Love Under Fire records Ellen White's words on this exact thing. The papal church will never give up her claims to infallibility. If secular governments remove their current restraints and Rome regains her former power, there would be a quick revival of the church's tyranny and persecution. The Great Controversy, I think the 1888 edition on page 580 says, Rome has always claimed its right and only lacks the power to enforce it everywhere. Let the principle once be established in the United States that the church may employ or control the power of the state. That religious observations may be enforced by secular laws. In short, that the authority of the church and state is to dominate the conscience and the triumph of Rome in this country is assured. I don't think a pope condemning a live streamed execution is the same thing as a Sunday law.

21 Look, I want to be honest about that. This is not the case. But watch the shape of it. An American pope, the first one in the country that has ever seen or ever had, publicly overruled an American administrator's criminal justice policy on moral grounds and winning bipartisan senators to his side in the same week. This nation, in real time, is being told by Rome what its own conscience should be allowed. And notice the other half of it. Hengsteth didn't just announce an execution. He wrapped it in the mentality of World War II, in religious justification against what he called a radical Islamic attack, dressing a government action in the language of righteous judgment. One hand in Washington reaching for a moral cover, and one hand in Rome reaching for a correction to Washington's morals. Both of them closing the distance that used to exist between state and conscience. Rome is positioning itself as a moral figurehead.

26 And people will run to it once they are overwhelmed by the corruption and bloodshed around them. Some people will look at all this and say, well, we needed a peacemaker, so this is overseeing the peace. A pope condemning a public execution, two senators and the UN Human Rights Office pile on in the same week in the exact kind of moment that builds this reputation. We have two books talking about, kind of about the spiritualism that's coming upon the world right now. Aliens, Angels, or Ancestors, Unmasking the Last Deception is an in-reach book. Non-human intelligence, Unmasking the UAP Deception for those people who are in the church. If this subject matters to you, grab some at Orion at store.orionmedia.tv and put them in someone's hands. I support the separation of church and state. I don't want Rome telling Washington what its laws must be. And I don't want Washington addressing its actions in a way that is not true. I don't want Washington talking about its laws with its own hands. Both of those hands reach toward each other in the trajectory of Revelation 13 and how it describes what's, what's happening in our nation.

33 And I believe we are watching the pieces of that line up in real time right now. Even in a story that on its surface is just about one man's execution date. Even in a story that on its surface is just about one man's execution date. To the law and to the testimony, they speak not according to the word, it is because there is no light in them. Don't take my word for it. Open the Bible yourself. Whatever happens on December 3, whatever happens on December 3, pray in the name of Jesus that the people watching this unfold would see past the headlines and into what is actually building here. My name is Bradley, and this has been Pure Strangeness in Absolute Normalcy. We'll see you next time.
