Watching videos

You do not need an account to watch anything on this site. There is no viewer registration, no tracking pixels from ad networks, and no requirement to hand over any personal information just to press play.

Signing in to comment

If you want to leave a comment, we ask you to sign in with Google. When you do, we store the basics Google shares with us: your name, your email address, and your profile picture. That is all — we never see your Google password, and we use this information only to show who wrote a comment and to run the site. Comments are reviewed before they appear publicly.

Membership

Memberships are handled by Donorbox, a separate company that processes the actual payments. We never see or store your card details. To check whether you are a member, we match the email address you sign in with against the email on your Donorbox membership — nothing more. Donorbox has its own privacy policy, which you can read at donorbox.org/privacy.

Viewing statistics

We keep aggregate, anonymized statistics about what gets watched — things like "this video was played 300 times this week". These numbers are not tied to who you are, and we do not build per-person viewing profiles.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone. Ever.

Cookies

The site uses a single session cookie, which is needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms from abuse. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. (Your light/dark theme choice is kept in your own browser and never sent to us.)

Questions

If you have any questions about your data — including asking us to delete your commenter account — contact bradburnham@gmail.com.
