The Dark Truth Behind the Golden Trump Statue

A 22-foot gold statue of Donald Trump, nicknamed Don Colossus, was dedicated at Mar-a-Lago by evangelical pastor Mark Burns and is reportedly headed for the 2026 G20 summit in Miami. I compare it directly to Nebuchadnezzar's golden image in Daniel 3 and the image of the beast in Revelation 13, and I bring in Ellen White's writings on a coming idol sabbath that follows the same pattern.

This video walks through the reporting first: the Daily Show and Aaron Parnas footage of the statue's dedication, sculptor Alan Cottrill explaining he has made statues of sixteen to nineteen past presidents but never one of a sitting president, the crypto scandal behind the memecoin that funded it, and clips from The View, The Ring of Fire and The Jimmy Dore Show all landing on the same word, idolatry.

Then I take it to Scripture. I read Daniel 3, where Nebuchadnezzar builds a golden image and demands the whole kingdom bow to it, and Revelation 13, where an image of the beast is made and worship is enforced through buying and selling. I quote Ellen White comparing a coming idol sabbath to Nebuchadnezzar's golden image, and her words in Last Day Events about rulers yielding to popular demand for a Sunday law.

I also correct claims circulating online that Donald Trump himself is the Antichrist, explaining from Daniel 7 why a beast in prophecy represents a kingdom and not one man, and why I think the real danger is the religious and political fusion building the pedestal underneath him.

The video closes with Daniel 2:44 and the kingdom that needs no golden image to prove it will last, and the test from Isaiah 8:20 to measure everything you just watched against the Bible itself.
