The Real Temple of God Isn't Where You Think

We sit down with Pastor Steve to unpack why the rebuilding of the Jewish temple has become such a hot topic and whether it truly fulfills end-time prophecy. Using Matthew 24, Luke 21 and 2 Thessalonians 2, we walk through the abomination of desolation and argue that the temple of God in Paul's writing refers to the church rather than a literal rebuilt structure in Jerusalem.

We trace three applications of the abomination of desolation, from pagan Rome's destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD to the papacy's claim to divine titles within the Christian church, and finally to a future Sunday law enforcement. Along the way we discuss the son of perdition, Judas as a type of Antichrist, the papacy's titles like Holy Father and His Holiness, and why looking to the Middle East can distract from what we believe is really happening between America, the Vatican and apostate Protestantism.
