And the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. King James Version says, he became a living soul. God did not put a soul into him. He became a soul after two things happened, the dust of the ground and the breath of life. And nowhere in the Bible does it speak of the breath having a conscience.
