0:05 that looks like something on fire that's what we thought but it's not making there is there's fire inside there is fire you can see it but i zoomed in with the binoculars you're looking at it we've seen four of them already we don't know what it is it looks just like a like a like an orb of fire that is weird it looks almost like a it's got a ball of light it looks almost like a manta ray surrounded by a glow harold helm grew up in the dallas fort worth underworld the son of a nightclub and strip club operator with mob ties surrounded by organized crime in the new age spiritualism he lived a double life as an honor student by day and a drug dealer by night the path that eventually led him to two prison sentences which up to 19 years right yeah i was convicted of 19 years didn't serve all 19 but i'll share how that happened as well that's that's quite a lot of time but um behind bars everything changed right a copy of the great controversy sent him completely on a new course today he is the elder at west houston seventh day avenues church an international evangelist and a founder of make life changes ministries and in 2022 the state of texas recognized you as one of the most successful former inmates series stories right yes wow yeah actually my story's being played all the pro offices across state of texas right now and on their youtube channel being featured that sounds wow wow and here uh here you are today you're going to share a little bit about that right about the cult crime about what led you eventually to christ and and and all that yes well i'm gonna actually be sharing well my testimony with some people in the vintage world have heard of my testimony that i've been a part of now my testimony that i've been in the vintage world as a mentor for myself was more or less of the same for me as a mentor for my but today I'm going to be sharing parts of my testimony that no one, not even outside Adventism, has actually heard about. And that's one of the reasons I wanted to be on your show, Strange Normal, because this is a perfect program to be on to talk about spiritualism and the occult and particularly how that ties into end times deception.
2:24 Absolutely. Absolutely. We've had so much struggles just getting this program off the start. You've had, sure, if you don't mind sharing a little bit about what you had trouble with, I'm going to share about what we just had trouble with and what I've had trouble with. You know, whenever you're serving the Lord, particularly when it's going to impact a lot of lives, Satan doesn't like that. And he literally has his demons and he attacks not just you, but those around you. And particularly when you're grounded in scripture, Satan gets to the point where he can't attack you straight on anymore. So that's what he does. He attacks those around you, those that you love. Recently, when we were trying to get up here for this trip, we drove all the way up here from Texas. There was a lot of details, a lot of things that had to happen. We had to come together. And my mother, well, my car broke down right before we came. So I had to get a rental. And then my mother, who is 81, lives on the property with us. I had to get her Uber to go to her doctor's appointment. And she was rear-ended as she was pulling into her, basically probably a block from her doctor in the hospital. And her next, I'd take her to go get x-rays. And the following day, her AC went out on a four-year-old home. Not to mention, we were doing community work. We were doing community work. We were doing community work. We were doing community service before we left. I had a couple of speaking engagements, some early morning ones, too, on another podcast, like 5 a.m. in the morning. And we had six horses from my neighbor's property that ended up on our land. And they did a lot of destruction. And we're trying to get the church on Sabbath morning. And my wife's out there trying to shoo these horses. And I'm like, don't, you know, they're going to hurt you. And we're trying, they had blinders on, so they couldn't see we were there. And they were scared. And we fenced in. A lot of our properties, you know, a couple acres. But the one spot that we hadn't closed off yet was the one spot that they went. So it was just one thing after the other. And then we had massive storms.
4:14 We had major storms all the way up here on the drive. And of course, before we even left, my mom's, you know, the mom's AC that went out, I had to get that fixed. Couldn't leave mom there in Texas heat with no AC. And so we had to get people out to fix it. We still don't know, you know, exactly what's wrong with it, but we were able to get it working. So she's cool now. But yeah, it was, it was kind of rough just coming up here and being on this show and making it happen. It's been a little bit of a journey. Yeah. And not only that, while you came up, the day you were coming up, I started to feel ill and I just, I've slept for the last 40 hours. I couldn't, I couldn't, and I've been on a plane. I haven't been sick for years and years, but man, I really felt ill. I thought, man, I'm going to have to cancel this entire thing. He drove driven all the way out here. Yeah. I remember you saying that it was, it was kind of, I was a little nervous, you know, because, you know, we were able to come out here and obviously there's an expense occurred and, and this was the time that we had scheduled. And I was like, you know, Satan does not want this program to happen. And I have Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and I had a flare up too, which I'm still been suffering from, but it was really severe right before I left. So in addition, dealing with all the problems I had, I was, I was pretty sick last week myself. And then when you came down and got sick, I was like, I told you, I said, boy, there's something powerful that we're going to do in this program that Satan does not want people to hear and know about. And that, and now you've already talked to me a little bit about your, your presentation, your testimony and halfway through about 20 minutes in the entire thing shut down and canceled. It deleted the video footage we had. So we're going to go over this again a little bit.
5:50 Yeah. We had the blue screen of death. I understand on, on your equipment over there, which was pretty scary. And we prayed, um, and you know, God miraculously fixed the system. You said it was the fastest it had ever recovered and back up. So we could get back to filming again, but this is kind of like a take two, but, uh, you know, God knows what he's doing. My favorite verse is scripture Romans eight 28. All things work for the good of those that love the Lord and called according to his purpose. So, you know, we, we don't exactly know why this happened, but, uh, you know, maybe there's something that didn't get said the first time that needs to be said this time. Absolutely. Well, let's get into it. I think it's, it's fascinating. Your story has already piqued my interest. You have a held a lot of life on you so far. And I think, I think a lot of people would be very, very curious about how you met the Lord and how this all happened. So let's, let's start from the, well, before actually we start, tell me a little bit about your ministry and where we're, how people can get ahold of you and what's your website stuff. Sure. Um, well, basically let me tell you, I came out, I got into the Adventist church, actual, the, where I came into, um, from prison was December 2nd, 2011. That following Sabbath, I think it was a Wednesday. I got out of prison. I went to West Houston, seven day Adventist church, which is like the largest SDA church in the Houston area. And I started to serve there. I got involved in street evangelism, uh, homeless ministry. Um, eventually I became an assistant deacon, the head deacon. I served for like 10 years in that capacity and then eventually an ordained elder. But along that journey, uh, God gave me this idea for making life changes ministries. And it started as street evangelism. And, and I started to, I got to speak, uh, at a non-Adventist event in front of several thousand pastors in Las Vegas in front of 10,000 people.
7:33 And sharing my testimony, I spoke in Orlando, Florida, many places across the country. And that's what I wanted to do. I wanted to be like Doug Batchelor. I wanted to be like Mark Finley, sharing the three angels message because I was so transformed by the truth. Sometimes as Adventists, we take the truth that God has given us for granted and it radically transformed my life. I mean, I grew up Baptist, non-denominational, apostolic, and I studied Jehovah Witness, Latter-day Saints, all different. So I was on fire for this. And this making life changes ministry is about truth that transforms lives. See, it's not enough for you to have an experience with Christ, but you should be radically transformed by that experience. Jesus said in John 8, 32, you'll know the truth and the truth will set you free. Not some watered down emotional feeling of the gospel. I'd been there majority of my life. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've been there. I've lived by that. I had highs, I had lows, but since my belief, my foundation, we would say wasn't on solid ground, right? It was built on the sand of what I thought I knew truth was. When I had bad days and it was based on emotional feelings, I'd lose my salvation because I had nothing to secure it on. So when I came to the truth, it radically transformed my life. And because of that, making life changes was born. From that point, it grew from evangelism to street ministry to homeless ministry. Eventually, I had a calling to go back into the prisons.
9:11 I had a senior pastor who told me, hey, would you like to start a prison ministry under your ministry making life changes? And I'm like, I don't know. I'm not to pray about that because prison was the last place I wanted to go at the time. I was still on parole. I had to report to these people and I regularly take urinalysis tests. I had restrictions traveling outside the state of Texas. But God revealed to me that I was going to go back to prison. I was going to go back to me that I need to be faithful and just over the little things for I could be faithful and just over much. And so I was obedient and I started doing prison ministry in about 2013 under making life changes. And let me tell you, I talk about the truth transformed me. Ministry itself also transformed me. Not only did it keep me in the church and kept me grounded, being active, I always say idle time is the devil's workshop. We give the devil too much opportunities to find holes in our armor. So I was consumed with ministry and going into the prisons kept me focused on revealing the truth that changed my life to inmates in the same capacity, in the same way it was revealed to me. And since that time, we've done almost 500 baptisms, ministered and mentored over 1000 men, not just in prison, but outside of prison. Prison ministry doesn't stop in the prison. It continues after release. And a lot of these men now have their own businesses, they've got their families back. I hear just amazing stories and them calling me and saying, thank you, Harold, for sharing the truth with me, for being there for me. And a lot of them will say that our ministry compared to all the other ministries come to the prison, they generally feel real love through making life changes ministries that we don't ever prejudge them. Because I know you've had quite a tumultuous background, especially with your father and being brought up into, well, as we read just a minute ago, your biography. I want to know how that started. Sure. I look back on it in the journey because one thing is when I look at prison, my past, a lot of the men relate to, maybe not everything that I went through, but pieces of it. And even people that aren't incarcerated, because sin is sin, whether it's anger issues, drug addiction, pornography, whatever it is, you don't have to be incarcerated for Making Life Changes ministries to have an impact on your life through the gospel. And one of the things with the prison ministry that we've been focused on right now is we baptize men, but they come out of prison and they have to have a transitional house in order to be released. And we end up sending them right back into Babylon.
12:25 And this is important while I'm sharing this because I was in Babylon much of my life, and you'll see why when I talk about my background and where I came from. And so one of the goals that we have at Making Life Changes ministries, because the men come out, they want to keep the Sabbath. They want to run with the truth that they've learned, but yet parole tells them if you don't have a transitional house to go to, you'll go back to prison, you'll violate your parole. And so they end up going to another ministry that makes them go to Sunday services, work on the Sabbath. And literally they're experiencing the national Sunday law crisis right now alone. So one of our goals is to build a transitional house, the first ever in the world. And so we're going to build a transitional house, and we're going to build a transitional house, and we're going to build a transitional house, in the state of Texas, that is seven day Adventist. So we're trying to do some things for them that the resources I never had. So I lay the groundwork there because my story is so powerful that men in prison are just likely, they get attached to it. Like they're like, okay, if, if, if Jesus could do this for you, then I know he can do this for me. So, so backing up a little bit, you have to learn a little bit about my father, because my whole life growing up, my father was very involved in who I became, um, during those periods of leading up to my incarceration. My father came out of, uh, the Marine Corps in 1957. So he was what was known as a triple T marksman, uh, uh, shooter for the U S Marine Corps. Uh, he trained on the same barracks in Parris Island 57 with Lee Harvey Oswald that they said shot and killed JFK. Uh, my dad was the leader of the Minutemen organization. He was the leader of the Minutemen organization. He was the in North Texas and Dallas and the Fort Worth area friends with Jack Ruby, who, uh, uh, shot and killed Oswald. Uh, father always told me Oswald was a patsy that he was not the one that killed JFK. Um, and of course, when the president was assassinated in Dallas, my dad was arrested by the FBI, taken into custody and was considered a person of interest because they found his name, number, and address in the Rolodex of, of Jack Ruby. Uh, they scary, black books back then, you know, they didn't have phones or tablets. So they'd write everything down. Uh, but they could never pinpoint or, you know, finger anything on my dad associated with it. But now recently the JFK files had just been redacted and came out and there's lots of information on there about my father, not only being a person of interest, but how him a member of the Dixie mafia and that he being involved with Jack Ruby and the care, he was a member of the carousel club, uh, which Pat Kirkwood was the owner of. That was all the mob organized crime, the Italian mafia involved in that. And they ran the club industry, uh, and, and numbers rackets and anything that was made money in organized crime role. And so my father was one of the high people involved with that. What was his name again?

That's right. And so, um, my father at that time, he had, um, as he was taken into, uh, custody and release, cause they found this information and couldn't finger it on it. A lot of the people that were involved with him were involved in the Minutemen organization. I guess my dad was alive today. He passed away in 06. He'd be considered a right-wing extremist, not today. And the weapons that potentially killed the president, they say probably would have passed through my father's organization being that he was the leader of the Minutemen organization there. And he got his blessing, um, through Jack Ruby, who was the head of that organization area there to basically allow him to operate his clubs.
16:42 And when I say clubs, we're not talking about dance clubs or we're not talking about his regular nightclubs. Uh, just, it's okay to say this on this program. Uh, my father legalized totally new dancing in the state of Texas in the sixties. And so he was the inventor of what they call the champagne rooms. And my dad's first major club that, that he had was the bunny club or what they call the playboy club on in Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. Um, he had many, many clubs, probably a dozen, uh, all across Dallas, Fort Worth area, hot Springs, Arkansas. He had a restaurant called Feast of Fowl. He had a world's largest steakhouse in Fort Worth called Helm's Steakhouse. He also had, um, DiMaggio's old ballpark in Fort Worth, which his business partner was Vince DiMaggio, which his brother, was the famous ballplayer, Joe DiMaggio. And so my dad had a lot of ties to very well-known famous people, but also to the mob. Um, my family is half Jewish, not by religion, but by blood. And we're also registered Cherokee Indians. And so my dad were the star of David. I grew up on the Lake Worth castle, um, which was a home that was one of the few castles in the United States. And it was, it was available and used. By president Eisenhower during the war had underground secret passageways. It's kind of a creepy place. Um, I remember my sisters would take me through and tell me stories of ghosts and goblins and things. And, you know, they were older than me and they would scare me and stuff with it. But that was some of my early memories. And I remember my father had this one big room that had the star of David in it. He always pride himself being Jewish, but believed in Jesus, but just never followed Jesus. Uh, he was one of these people said, do as I say, not as I say.
18:32 Do you ever, ever heard people like that? And he was what they would call Coupolino. So he worked directly with the Italian mafia, um, as they trusted a lot of the Jews for numbers and money and the different things that they did, uh, without being actually in the family. As, um, I got older, uh, I started being exposed to more and more of, of things of my father, but I got to backtrack a little bit because my first memory actually started when I was a little bit older. I started with my father pointing a loaded gun to my mother's head. And when I was just three years old, um, my mother had found out that my dad had an affair with the babysitter and had a child with my younger sister. And my mother was going to take me away from him. And now my mom had three others, uh, three other daughters. So these were my sisters, but we had the same mom, but not the same dad. So we were half sisters, half brothers and sisters. And, and, uh, my mom wanted to take me to the hospital. And I was like, well, I'm going to take you to the hospital. And my dad wasn't going to have it. So he was on top of her. He had a 357 Magnum pointing to her head. And my dad always carried a Smith and Wesson 357 R Taurus. He was very well known for it. I mean, there were stories where he'd shoot the jukebox or shot glasses out of people's hands.
19:49 If they said the wrong thing or whatever, he's just notorious for that. People were afraid of him. And sometimes he would use his gun in other ways. Um, but that particular night he had his gun. He was trying to overdose her and my sisters pushed me in the room and they say, you're the only one that can save mama. That was my first memory. Yeah. Think about that. Uh, and that has been ingrained in my head for, you know, over on 55 now, just the last week. So we're talking 52 years around that. But that memory has been stuck in my head. I don't really remember much before it, but that stayed. And I remember when I was in the hospital, I was in the hospital, my dad turned in and look at me and seeing me. And he stopped. He didn't want me to see what he was doing. And he stopped. But that night he took me from my mom and my three sisters. And it would be 37 years where I'd be officially reunited with them. So I grew up with my dad. Now, what I didn't know was my dad also had another daughter. She had passed away of mongolism disease. And, um, her mom was Carla Helm and her father was Chuck Yeager, who broke, the sound barrier. He was the first pilot to ever break sound barrier. So, so, you know, my dad grew up with basically, and I grew up with the who's who's of people in military political. My dad knew all the cops, the chief of police. And so this was normal for me being around celebrities, but I didn't really know all the backend of how my dad made his money. I assumed it was just all his knife love industry. And of course he made a lot of money in that. Um, and growing up, my, my dad worked nights cause everybody goes to the strip clubs at night. Um, a lot of the times he would take me with him and I grew up and was raised by what they call the house mom. How old were you at this time? Oh, I'm four to five years old and all the way up until I got too old to be in the women's dressing room. I take you to the strip club at four or five years old. And I would see things that you're not supposed to see. Uh, my whole version of, of what a woman should be like, what a marriage should be like. We're distorted. It all had to do with, you know, little or no clothes and makeup and jewelry and flashy things and bad talk and language and alcohol and cigarettes still in the room and bad music.
22:16 Um, that was my upbringing as a child, but yet my dad would always say that we're Christian, but Christian in name only, uh, definitely wasn't following Christ. And so as I got older, my dad, um, got remarried. I had a stepmother and he had, my dad had been married and divorced like five times. So you can imagine a little bit of my upbringing and, um, they eventually divorced, but you know, she was pretty good to me at the stepmother that I had. And we, we were pretty close. Um, but they would literally get in some pretty bad knockdown, drag out fights and, and different things. And my dad was just a very tough, mean guy and very abusive. The women, I think growing up, seeing that made, not want to be like that. Sure. So my biggest fear was losing everybody in my life because growing up, my mom was taken away from me. My three sisters take away from me. Um, you know, at times my, my dad would drop me off at my grandmother's, my grandparents and leave me for periods of time. And I wouldn't deal with him either. So I was always kind of abandoned and always kind of left. And that did something emotionally to me as well. I spent a lot of time alone too. And there was times, you know, my dad would sleep during the day. I would, I would be, I would be by myself. So I learned to entertain myself. I learned to be okay by myself, which is probably kind of weird because I didn't have a whole lot of friends. And when I was really young, but I remember seeing this Bible at one of our houses, we moved a lot. I say one of our houses, cause you know, I didn't have a stable childhood. One of the things when you're in that world, you move an awful lot. So my father would open up a new restaurant and new club, and we would move from Dallas to Fort Worth and maybe we're in hot Springs for a little bit, wherever it was, Corpus Christi. And I remember seeing this Bible at one of our houses. And I remember from our family, wherever he was opened up his next spot. And so my childhood of trying to get to know people was short lived because we're moving all the time. Later, I think there were some other reasons I would find out as to why we moved a lot as well. But I remember being in this one house. We always had big homes. I would go to school in like Rolls Royces and limousines. I have private guards around me and my father, you know, it was nothing for my dad to go in and buy cars at the Cadillac dealership cash or walk into a furniture store. And he's like, okay, I want that couch. I want that bed. I want that picture. And they're like, and they're like, what do you mean you want? He said, I want everything, even the plant. And I want it delivered to my house. And I'm like, sir, how are you going to pay for that? He snapped his finger. And one of his guys would come up and flip the briefcase full of hundreds and cash. And, you know, and so I got very used to that, but all through that lifestyle, God was reaching me. And I remember being a little kid, I'm about seven years old at, as of this time, my first memory of, of having an experience with God. And there was a big Bible and it was white, had a picture of, of, of, of Jesus on there.
25:11 And, and I remember it was brand new because it probably would never open, but I opened it up and I'm thumbing it and I'm seven. Right. And I'm looking like, like, this is important. Whatever it was seemed important. And I think I'd heard about, oh, there's a second coming or Jesus is going to come. And I kind of felt like, okay, but this book, something in this book is important that there's a message that has to be like, you got to know this message before Jesus could come. Now, I had this thought for many, many years and eventually I'd find out what that message was. And I was looking at the back of it. I'm looking at revelations and, and I mean, I'm seven. I can, I can, you know, a few years in a reading and stuff that time, but I had no comprehension. That's kind of the, the, the first opportunity that God started to reach me there. And of course there was also spiritualism going on. Along this time and other events that started to occur. And I want to come back to that as I lay the foundation, because you're going to see in the midst of all that, that probably had a lot to do with a lot of things I was exposed in the drugs, everything else. But, um, as I got older, uh, eventually when I got to high school, I wanted to settle down. I told my dad, I wanted to quit moving. Um, so he ended up saying, okay, we're going to stop. And my dad had went through a very, very bad falling out with one of his business partners. I think I was probably, 13 or 14 years old. So I'm, I'm right about getting ready to start high school. And we went from living in a multimillion dollar mansion where our neighbors were Dallas Cowboy players and famous folks to living in a one bedroom, all bills paid apartment in East Dallas. And my dad had literally lost everything at that time because one of his, the guy that controlled the lease on his club, uh, my dad had the number one nightclub in the state of Texas called show girls. And he was the first person to ever bring in professional adult entertainers, porn stars, and bring them in the do acts. And this, I guess a lot of people didn't like it that, that, that they didn't like the fact that he was making more money than everybody. So his, the guy that controlled his lease decided he's going to cut them off and not renew the lease. And he's going to lose the business. A couple of weeks after that happened, he was found dead at his house, shot in the face, murdered. It made unsolved mysteries.
27:23 They never found out who killed him. What was his name? Don Furr. He owned a, at that time, he owned a million dollar saloon, which was, was a very famous nightclub. People came from all over the world to it. So he also owned the land that, that my dad's club was on. So they went into a big battle and, um, and there was some stipulation, I guess, when he died that, that I don't know what happened to the lease. My dad didn't eventually end up losing the club anyway. And so, and it lost a lot of other stuff and all that kind of fell apart. And so we went from having all this money and everything else to really having nothing. So I've been rich, but I've also been very poor. And at this time I start going to high school. The next year at Bryan Adams was in East Dallas, close to White Rock Lake. And I got involved in football, loved sports. I love, I've been playing football since I was in Peewee, but you know, now I'm, I'm, I'm on in high school. I'm on the freshman team and I'm loving, I'm meeting some friends. I'm starting to get to know people. And football was a release for me because regardless of what was going on with my father or any of the other people I was around, football was a place that I could express myself. And even though I was a little guy, I could take my frustration out on some people on the field.
28:29 And so I liked that. And, and, you know, and, and for four years, I played ball through high school and varsity, and we had a good football team there at Bryan Adams. Our running back went on the play for the Dallas Cowboys and being a couple of Superbowls, Lincoln Coleman won the Russian title. And it was, it was fun. But as people wanted to get close to me, my dad's people around him also wanted to protect me. So sometimes they would pull guns on them. They'd shake them down. They didn't trust them. They wanted to know who they were. They were my friends. So people were scared. And I started hanging out with one of the DA agents. He might've actually been like head DA in that area, that precinct, his son. And me and his son started to steal cars together. We really loved sports cars and we started doing this. So here I am National Honor Society playing football in high school, very successful at my school, but at night I'm stealing cars. And then my dad is getting in, he's selling drugs. And I, I didn't know about this up to this time, but my dad was like, I'm going to sell drugs. And I was like, I'm going to sell drugs. And I was moving narcotics. He evidently, there was this whole thing going on in South America. Oliver North got caught up with it and made congressional hearings. There was a whole Iran-Contra hearings and stuff that was going on. And there was freedom fighters. They called themselves freedom fighters. Wanted to bring democracy to parts of Latin America. Congress wouldn't give them the money. So people were funding their illegal operations through selling drugs. And literally we had people in the FBI, we had cops, different law enforcement would come by our house. They would tell my father when to go, when to fly, when the routes were so they wouldn't get caught by the Coast Guard. And they were literally flying. They would go down South, pick up drugs, bring the drugs back, sell the drugs, and then use the proceeds, keep some of it, of course, for themselves and use the proceeds to buy weapons that then they could take back down South. There's a movie that Tom Cruise made called American Made. It's real. I mean, all the stuff that he did in there, my father was living that. That's what he was doing. Man. So this is all mid-80s. This is all like probably 83, 84, 85, about the mid-80s there. My dad's involved with all this. And he gets involved with a guy by the name of Gino Camacho. And Gino was involved in the Mexican cartel. And Gino was his right-hand man. And literally, if anybody got out of line, Gino and his people would handle that. And they, Gino was, had direct ties, down South so that my father could get more and more drugs. Well, something happened. One day, a shipment came to our house instead of going to the warehouse. Now, granted, this is after my dad lost his nightclubs and strip clubs. He still had a couple of small ones, but he really lost millions of dollars. And not only is he trying to bring democracy to the South through some very bad means, as the ends justify the means, he's also trying to make a come up and get money back. So he's also now starting to be involved in cocaine. They're selling cocaine. They're selling drugs. Gino's, you know, bringing stuff in. And one day, a shipment came to our house instead of going to the warehouse. And my friend was over, the one that I told you that his dad's a cop. He smelled it. He knew exactly what it is. It's marijuana. That's coming from your father's room. My dad wasn't there. So we went in and served it and opened up his double closets. And he's got like over a thousand pounds of marijuana in there. My friend's like, he's not going to notice if we take some. So we started taking some. And then at that point, I started smoking it, started getting high and marijuana, my drug of choice. And then we started selling. So sometimes we would take stuff. And I later find out that my father hurt some people real bad because he thought they were stealing from me. I mean, we were the ones that were actually taking the drugs. My dad didn't know about that. And so now we're selling drugs, smoking drugs, you know, doing the marijuana and we're out stealing cars.
32:22 And my friend figured out a way that we could steal these brand new cars. And there was a chop shop. And so I had seven, eight people now working for us. And we're out here and, you know, I'm making, here I am. High school taking four to $6,000 a week, selling hot cars, brand new cars, you know, no title or nothing, taking them to chop shops and selling them. And, you know, I just thought I was it at that time. Were you getting the cars? You said they're brand new. They were brand new. We were basically popping the boxes. They have a little titanium boxes on there. I don't want to give any ideas, but there was a way we figured out how to get the keys. And I would dress up in a suit, act like I was a salesman, bring a crew with me. We'd take down back fences. We'd go during close and we'd take them five, six, seven at a time. Roll them out, keep them for a few weeks till we didn't feel they were hot anymore. And then take them to a local chop shop and sell them. And so we were doing that for quite a while. My whole senior year, we were involved in this and we were sporting them and racing them around. Sometimes we'd take them to school and a lot of the people in school started knowing what was going on. And then we started getting detectives watching us and stuff. And, and you know, then we got involved in going in and breaking into higher end. So then we wanted to progress. So we went from like, you know, Ford pro turbo, and TSI conquest and 5.0 Mustangs to now we're wanting to steal Lotus free turbos and Porsches and breaking into buildings and doing this. And, and it eventually caught up with me. One of our friends got caught with a couple, a couple of Mustangs in his garage and told and turned evidence on everybody. And we all got arrested. I got charged with seven felonies for auto theft, UNV, which is unauthorized use of motor vehicle, burglary vehicle, burglary of a building when we stole the cars. And I literally got out the morning of my graduation from high school after I'd been in jail. I literally was in jail long enough. I almost didn't graduate because I had perfect attendance up to that time, but I missed so many days. I was in jail for, you know, like 10 days or something. And, and, you know, you could imagine my dad and how upset he was, but prior to this, he knew something was going on because we wrecked one of the cars. We were in a, a turbo.
34:30 And my friend was driving and he wouldn't see how fast it was. And we got to the top of the hill and he punched it as we were going down. He lost control when it was over like 120, 130 miles an hour. And we literally flipped the car and I saw ground spark sky, ground spark sky. I mean, it rose six, seven times. The wheels came off, flew across the other end of the street. Uh, the roof caved in how we, you know, it was, it was crazy how we even survived. We, we literally flipped and ended up in the back of someone's backyard. Not just anyone, somebody I went to high school with, played football with. We knew it was his house, but we didn't, you know, we never told him about it. And we jumped out, we ran, helicopters got on us and they chased us. And I remember one time sitting down on someone's porch, looking up at the helicopter and just waving and the helicopter passed by. He thought I was just lived there. And, um, I eventually made it all the way back to the house. I had blood on me. My father caught me sneaking in like three o'clock in the morning, uh, literally pulled shotgun on me as I came in through the window. Uh, and you know, at that time I had to kind of tell him what was going on and what I was involved in. So he knew it was only a matter of time before things kind of, kind of busted me. And I did. And so I went to jail. I got four years deferred justification. I did four years of parole, adult probation. My dad's like, no, you need to get out of, of, of Dallas, get out of town for a while. So I wanted to go to college. So I originally wanted to go to air force. Um, but I wouldn't allow it. I qualified to go to the air force Academy with my grades, and I had congressional letters. Um, but about three, four months, uh, before I graduated, I was at a friend's house and a guy broke into his house. And what we didn't know was he was his mom's boyfriend. He spoke no English. She was actually an illegal immigrant that had been kicked out of the country three times and they had broken up that night. So he got really drunk.
36:23 He, the police were already looking for him for hit and runs. And he was going to the house thinking that, you know, he was going to kill her, kill himself. And he was going to kill her. And when he shows up there, he finds her son who had just come back from college. It was spring break. Um, and he wanted me to help him move back into his house and surprise his mom. So I was helping him unload his stuff from his vehicle. Um, and he comes in and the guy sees him and doesn't know it's her son. They'd never met. And so he's thinking this is her younger lover. Oh, wow. Yeah. So then he chases him, gets him on the bed. He pulls a knife off a dirty cutting board from the kitchen. He puts it on his neck and he's like, I don't know. I don't know. He's telling me to come over on the bed. And I'm thinking that's the last place I want to go. So my father taught me hesitation will get you killed. And so if you have to do something and you know, you can't talk your way out of something, then, then, you know, you have to defend yourself at any means necessary. And so I tried to go out of the room to find a weapon and he comes after me and my friend's in freeze mode. He was a, he was a big lineman. I'm a little Z back player.
37:26 He's like a hundred pounds heavier than me. And I'm like, he's the guy that's freezing. And while you're out of the room, are they communicating? He's trying, but he speaks no Spanish and, and, and, and her boyfriend speaks nothing but Spanish. I knew poquito Espanol. So I'm like, me niño, me niño. I'm trying to tell him that I'm a child and he's a kid. And, and, uh, he's just telling me, no, come here. Basically coma means bed. He wanted me to, he wanted to put us both at knife point. I wasn't going to go there. So I tried to run out of the room and he comes after me and he stabs me a couple of times on the side and I'm wearing a white polo shirt and blood's running down. Oh, stabs me, cuffs me in the head. This time I get on him. I'm fighting for my life. I'm punching him. I'm struggling. I finally get the knife out of his hands. I'm yelling at my friend, Joe, Joe, come help me. Joe was frozen, but then he gets up and he goes and he grabs this little dumbbell weight, hits the guy in the head. Um, and life knocks them out. And so I get up, I start to run. I see him look like he's about to get up. So I run back and kick him. And I'm thinking, I don't want this. It's a wrong man. He's 44. I'm a 17 year old kid. I don't want him to get up. He's probably really going to be mad and really kill me. So we get out of the house. I said, come on, Joe. We run to the neighbors. I got blood all over me. Neighbor calls nine one one. Did you stab him or how did he? Oh no, no. He, he stabbed me, but my friend hit him with a set of dumbbells and then I continued to punch him and there was a rug and there was concrete underneath the rug. What I didn't realize was that he cracked his skull when his head was against it. And I was continuing to pound him after he'd already hit him with the dumbbell, probably, you know, mocked him unconscious.
38:57 I wasn't trying to hurt the guy really bad. I was trying to knock him out because he, I figured he's going to kill me. And so, um, the police come and they take them out in a, in a wheelchair. I mean, not a wheelchair. I mean, like a gurney. Uh, um, and I'm like, what happened? And they're like, he just passed away. We're, we're trying to get him resuscitated. I'm like, what? And so, um, they ended up resuscitating him. He died again, two or three times. And then they put them on life support in the hospital, but they originally arrest us for murder. Yeah. And luckily the detectives find a note that he had left in the kitchen and basically said, you know, like, if I can't have you, no one else can, then I'm going to kill everybody and kill myself. Wow. So that saved us. Uh, cause my friend took a lie detector test and he felt it and they wanted me to take one. I'm like, he's telling the truth. There's no way I'm going to take a lie detector test. So, but they ended up finding that and that was proof enough. So I got no build. So here I am 17 years old. I just been no build for involuntary manslaughter. And then I got all these charges. You know, right about the same time for, for seven felonies. Um, but because of that, he stabbed me with a knife. Two weeks later, I get Crohn's disease, which is a gastrointestinal inflammation, autoimmune disease with ulcerative colitis. They don't really know what causes it, but I suspect that the stress and him stabbing me with a knife that potentially had E. coli on it probably led to, to me getting that. So then I I'm like, okay, so I didn't get to go to the air force and fly jets like I wanted to.
40:26 I ended up going to the university of Texas. Um, and I went originally for astrophysics. I love space and science. I was always fascinated by it. Um, but down there, I really couldn't shake the need to be somebody be in the no crowd. So I started selling drugs. I started partying and I had some people I was hanging around that were involved in the occult. Um, they were into, you know, really like heavy metal music. They started to introduce me to LSD, uh, psychedelics, mushrooms also started getting introduced to mescaline. Uh, so it wasn't just marijuana that I'm smoking anymore. Marijuana kind of started, it was the gateway drug. Now I'm doing much harder things, a little bit of cocaine. And this eventually led me to stop concentrating on my studies and eventually led me to get scholastic probation because I just quit going, um, to school. And I eventually come back to Dallas. Yeah. So I started getting introduced to these much harder drugs. I'd eventually drop out. I came back to Dallas and me and my dad became business partners. At this point, he really started to, um, kind of make his comeback. We opened, uh, I've gotten into the restaurant business for just a couple of years. It was in there that I managed restaurants. I met a, uh, a woman there who I eventually would marry. Um, and I married her for bad reasons. It was, you know, more, um, fleshly things, you know, we were in the party in and, and she was kind of a Christian name only as well. Uh, you know, and, and you get, you know, she told me, Hey, if I marry her, it'd make her so happy and everything would be perfect. And we fought and argued all the way up to that time. We eventually go to Vegas and get married and everybody was against it other than my father, really. And then once we got married, uh, me and my father opened up a boxing gym called New Way Athletic Club with welterweight champion of the world, Curtis Cokes. And it was there, that, um, we started to get involved with, um, starting the first legal poker tournaments in Texas. And my dad wanted me to invest in all that. So he talked my wife at the time into dancing in one of his clubs that he had recently reopened. Your father talked your wife into dancing at the strip club. Yes. At the strip club. Wow. Yeah. And so, you know, my dad was all about the money. If it made money, it made sense. He was addicted to money. Money was like his God for many years. And it would later become mine up until the time that I really had a relationship with Christ. And so, I mean, he had my mom dancing the clubs when they were together. He had my sister, I found out, dancing the clubs. Wow. She became of age. So it didn't really matter. My dad was, like I said, all about the money. And, and, you know, also kind of too, my father was, was sexually abusive to, um, to my half sisters. Um, so I didn't know that till much later in life. So there was a lot of that that was going on as well too. Um, but as I got older, my dad started giving me more money. And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, more responsibility. Uh, you know, Gino, who was my dad's right-hand man before. So my dad's right-hand man going back a little bit was Gino Camacho. And, and at that time that started getting involved with using drugs and that shipment went to the house. What I didn't know was, was that, uh, somebody ripped off my father for like seven pounds of marijuana. It wasn't even that much. Uh, but Gino wanted to make an example out of them. So he kidnapped, um, the husband, his wife, and a child.
43:58 My birthday weekend, it was either 1987 or 88. I have to go back and look at the records. Uh, but I know they'd slipped me a Mickey cause I was passed out the entire weekend and I don't remember anything. I slept all the way through it. My birthday is May 21st and this occurred on May 22nd and 23rd, but they took them to Oklahoma and murdered them and put their bodies in a chipper shredder. It was so brutal, so horrible. Um, it made the FBI justice files episode crack in the cartel. Literally when this happened, it was national news and it took the feds like a week to even identify the bodies. Now, eventually Gino got caught. He got sentenced to death by lethal injection was executed in 1996. So Gino was in prison during the time that me and my dad started new athletic club, which was about 95, uh, 94, 95. We'd started new way. And we got involved in the professional boxing program. What's crazy about it. We had an ain't a gang, any drug program. So new way stood for neighbors United with America's youth. So here we was with all of our backgrounds and crime and my, my dad involved in drugs and everything. And we're doing a, any gang and drug youth program, helping kids scout a gangs and off drugs, uh, uh, to support golden gloves boxing. And, and we also had about 27 professional prize fighters. Our head trainer was former world's weight champion, the world, the late Curtis Cokes. And we had, we had a lot of different, uh, professional boxers involved. And, and we had a lot of different, uh, professional boxers involved. And we had a lot of different we were doing that. Um, but of course, boxing's expensive and you don't always find the diamond in the rough. And even though we had some champions, um, you know, a couple of them went a wall costs us a bunch of money on some major fight nights. Uh, one Kenny snow was fighting for a major title and went and robbed us a string of seven 11s, you know, crashed out on drugs with his brother for like a week. And so we lost a big investment there. So my dad was like, look, you know, he had just started to build back up his empire. And he's like, if we don't figure out something, we're going to go broke. So he's like, let's, let's put some poker tables in the back. And I was like, you know, I want to jeopardize our business or everything that me and my wife had worked for the money that she put in. Of course, she's putting her stripper money into this as well. And, um, he's like, well, you went to college, you're so smart, figure out how to do it legally. So I spent some time on it and I came up with a loophole in the law under the penal code where literally we could do the actually, you know, warts where it was a tournament, not gambling because in Texas gambling, you have to have a bet. So without the definition of a bet, you don't have gambling.
46:33 I figured that out. Uh, I'm not going to tell any, give anybody ideas, but they're now doing it all across the state of Texas under what the legality that 26 years old, I fought and, and, and won. And literally, uh, we got raided, uh, by the Garland police department there for running poker tournaments and, and running, well, they say gambling, but they took all of our equipment. We'd beat them in court. And, you know, and the thing about it, we had probably stumbled upon a billion dollar idea. We had investors. We had the guy that owned Uno Chicago's pizza, rare, uh, Italian wanted to get involved with us. We opened up several other locations and we were expanding, but every time we'd open the location, the police would come in and hit us and rate us and shut us down. So it was like, they weren't trying to beat us legally. They're trying to beat us financially. Plus we didn't know there were some rich, powerful politicians that wanted to do this themselves in the future. And here we were kind of stepping on their toes preemptively. So my dad's like, okay, um, his health was starting to fail. He's getting older. Some things were going on and he started to, to turn over his black book, his Rolodex of his connections and saying, look, we need a couple million dollars to get to the state Senator, which was state Senator Royce West back then, which is still involved, uh, uh, politically. And I think he still serves as Senator in Texas. And he was handling our legality on the poker tournaments and he needed X amount of money to get an injunction against the state.
47:54 Um, but we didn't have the money. So my dad's like, well, I can show you how we can make the money. So he started introducing me to all of his connections and I started taking over my father's business in the drug world. And of course, Senator Royce West had no idea that we were involved in this or any of the other people, but some of my, you know, I started being introduced and started doing drugs with the Italian mafia, the Russian mafia, Aryan brotherhood, Aryan circle, um, the Mexican families. Um, some of my customers were, were law enforcement, lawyers, district attorneys, uh, doctors, professional athletes. It was amazing. And how many people in that world and, and, and just in that whole entire underground drug scene and Dallas was a huge, uh, uh, North Texas in general, just huge party scene, drug scene. And so, you know, it wasn't like I was out there, you know, selling drugs individually on street corners. You think about a drug dealer, I was wearing suits, driving around, you know, in Cadillacs, having people escort me, the deals dealing with, with Laotians, Asian mafia, and, you know, very few people dealt with me directly. I had about 200 people distributing drugs for me. And, you know, I would wake up every day and my average business for the day was on a slow day, 50, $75,000 worth of drugs, a hundred thousand a weekend could be a quarter of a million. And I was trying to work my way up to doing million dollar deals. And the people that I was dealing with were, were doing those big multimillion dollar deals.
49:24 So then I just started getting growing and expanding. Um, and now we're distributing in other States and, and we've got doctors involved and, and eventually, um, this would be my downfall. And I'm close to this time. My wife who was still dancing in the clubs, she started to develop a very bad drinking problem and started doing cocaine. And she started having a lustrous affairs, not just with men, but with women. And this started to really destroy our marriage. Um, it just got to the point to where I couldn't forgive her anymore. And so we, we split, we're still married on paper, but we weren't living together. And I was so hurt. Um, I was so like, just disgusted by it all, uh, that, that just drove me deeper into everything. I mean, and our poker tournaments, we got, we got raided, you know, taking the court. Like I said, we, we kept beating them and I'm like, okay, you think we're a criminal. I'm going to show you a real crown. Hmm. This went deeper into that world and started expanding and started saying, okay, what all can I get involved in? How much money can I make? And I really started getting addicted to the cash. Now I even bought me a money counter just so I could put the bills in the counts and we'd have people come in and we have to put cash in boxes. You know, I was the type that the U-Haul truck would come. I'd throw you the keys and you'd take the truck. And this was my life. Uh, uh, and all through my twenties up until my thirties. And then at 34 years old, um, one of my inner circles, he was a Russian. He got arrested. He was in a stolen car and I told him he was going to get busted at a lot of drugs. And, and evidently he turned state's evidence and got my house rated. So I got rated, um, by the ATF and tactical squat team. They threw flash grenades. I had solid steel doors in my house. They ripped them off. They came in. I had two Alaskan Malamutes. They shot and killed one of them and they started making their way. I had a six bedroom house. It was upstairs. So I had a contingency plan of what everybody was supposed to do. If anything happened with the police. And of course I'm breaking my SIM card. I'm trying to destroy evidence and everything, but they would eventually find just trace amounts. I got rid about everything other than like 67 grams. So I got charged with manufacturing, distribute a drug by the name of gamma hydroxide butane or better known as GHB. Okay. GHB. Some people call it the date rate drug because that's what a lot of people are using it for in the club. For me, it was just money. I mean, I wasn't using stuff myself. I was like, I could take a little bit of money and turn it into tens of thousands of dollars and do it consistently along with all my other products. So once again, it was just a means to an end for me. It was another vehicle. Um, so I get, I go to court and at that time I got charged with that felony and received four years in prison. And I think, you know, I look back on it. I was actually pretty fortunate because leading up to this time, I'd been in shootouts.
52:26 I'd had my brake lines clipped. I had people that literally, because I would, I was moving so much what they call weight in the drug world, uh, in the Dallas area that was lowering the street price on cocaine and methamphetamines. And so I had other rival members and families wanted to take me out. So I had a $50,000 price tag on my head. So actually probably going to prison during that time might've saved my life. I don't know. So I went to prison and it was in there that I started to really try to say, okay, I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this. Okay. I need to do something about my life. But I really didn't have the understanding of course that I have now. And the whole time I was growing up, you know, I grew up Baptist, you know, tried non-denominational. I studied with a lot of different religions. Main religion of my family was Baptist. And in the Baptist, it was once saved, always saved. So we had this understanding. You could do whatever you want to do, but as long as you ask for forgiveness, it was okay. And that's where I was in my life. I'm like, I'm not that bad. I'm not selling drugs to pregnant women and children. You know, I'm making money. I can get my poker operation back going. So we could get our family back on top from where we were, from where we had fallen. And these people are trying to stop us and, you know, and I'm not going to let them stop us. I'm going to do anything I need to do. You know, back then I wasn't carrying a Bible. I was carrying a pistol everywhere. And so the ends justified the means. And going to prison, I started to pick that Bible back up, but I had still had all these thoughts in my head about, you know, the rapture. And, you know, when you, you read the Bible, and you try to put some of this stuff that I was growing up in, like once saved, always saved, it doesn't really fit. And it causes more confusion than good. And so I was in a state of Babylon. I was in this state of confusion. And one of the things too, because I'd killed that guy just, you know, not even 10 years earlier. I'd always had that on my heart. Like, am I lost already? Because, you know, Baptist, it was once saved, always saved, as long as you didn't kill somebody. So that was like, kind of concerned me. But as I started studying, you know, in the Bible, in the, you know, in the sixth commandment, thou shall not murder.
54:32 It's actually, or it says thou shall not kill. In the Hebrew, it's murder. It's the lying way, you know, without justification. You know, if you kill someone in self-defense accidentally, or the accidental falls off, you accidentally kill someone, you didn't mean to do it. And I wasn't meaning to kill that person. And God doesn't count that to you as a sin. It's not counted to you as taking someone's life as a murder. And so that gave me some relief that, okay, I have to make it into heaven. But my religion as of that time was based on emotional feelings. So I'm studying the Bible, but in prison, I'm running the gambling boards. This is how I'm supporting myself. Literally, football games are coming. I'm running all the numbers boards in prison. So I really haven't learned anything. But yet I'm, you know, I'm studying my Bible as best I can at that time, but, you know, still hustling. And then I go to a church service and I got baptized, but it was denominational church, but I had this emotional feeling. Like I thought I was going to come out of the water, Bradley, like changed or somehow or another perfect. Like I wasn't going to have to deal with sin no more. Everything was just going to be okay. But because my faith was grounded on shaky ground, not the truth, then when I had emotional bad days, what would happen to my salvation? Would I lose it? And of course, that's kind of exactly how I ended back up in prison in the second time. So here I am in prison, 52 days before I get released. And this, this is pretty important. I'm, I'm in my prison cell. At this time, I'll make it to a trustee camp. So I'm no longer in like a two man dorm or eight man dorm with a trustee. The trustee camp is where they, they send guys that haven't got in trouble that are doing good, not making major cases in prison. So they got a little bit more freedom than everybody else. We've got a bigger space to live. It's, you know, all we have, like I have my own little cubicle, which isn't much bigger than this couch here, but it's mine and I'm living there. And the other guys right next to me, above me are right in the same room with me. And prison's a horrible place. I mean, at 34 years old, I went to the rock and roll worst prison you can go to in the state of Texas called Ferguson.
56:35 People have nightmares over Ferguson. I saw some horrible things, but God protected me, watched me through that whole entire time. And I remember getting woke up one night early in the morning. It's probably three, four o'clock. Now I was working on a pig farm. That was one of the jobs that I had. It's kind of crazy, you know, because I look back on this and I think about the prodigal son and how far he had fell and went. And I would literally be out on the pig farm and see guys eating out of the pig size, literally, because they would throw the leftover pork chops and stuff to the pigs. And they would literally go out there and fight for these pork chops and stuff. It was disgusting. And here I am cleaning 400 pig stalls a day. Well, I haven't got introduced to the health laws yet. So, you know, I'm still eating some pork occasionally, whatever, but just they were so nasty, the animals. So that was my job. And I had to get up. It's like three, four o'clock in the morning. And I got to get up very soon. To go work on the pig's pig farm, because we go very early. And I hear Harold, like the most clear sounding version of my name I'd ever heard before. And I looked around my cell and I'm like, hey, ball, he went by balls like I was like, did you call me? He's like, oh, man, it's what time is it? Go back to sleep. It's dark. I got to go to work in a little bit. I'm looking around. Everybody's crashed. The guards haven't come in to wake everybody up to go to work. So I'm like, is that? But it felt like so like, I didn't know what was going on. I didn't know what was going on. I didn't know what was going on. I never heard anything like my name was just so pure. So like, it was amazing. Next morning, I'm a couple hours come before the guards come in to take us to work. I go start looking at the obituary section. It was weird because the guards would come in and put papers. I grabbed the Dallas paper and I'm looking at it. I'm looking at the for some reason, I want to look at the obituary section. I don't know. Well, we go to work, come back from work. And after I shower up my my bunk, one of the guards come in and say, hey, you need to go to the captain's wall. Everybody's like, oh, you're in trouble. And I'm thinking, I haven't done anything wrong. Why don't you only go to the captain's wall? Go see the captain if you're in trouble. So they tell me to go down there. So I go down there and there's a chaplain inside the office. And there's the I want to say the captain, I believe the major, which is next to the warden there on the unit. And they said, your mother's on the phone and talk to my mom a long time. I only saw my mother a handful of times growing up, you know, and and and the time I did, my dad ridiculed her and, you know, and said she was an alcoholic and all these bad things. And so, you know, my memories of my mom weren't very fond from my dad's side. And why is my mom on the phone? And she told me that my father had passed away the night before my grandmother contacted her and told her. Now, some people may think that at that point, I knew that the night before the whole experience I had had to do with his death. Now, some people might have thought that, oh, you know, that was your dad reaching out to you. But, you know, we know the state of the dead and that there's a truth that I was already starting to come in contact with.
59:24 So I knew it wasn't my father. Instead, I felt like that was God calling my name very clearly, letting me know everything was going to be OK. And so I literally went to the hand. I went to the funeral in handcuffs. I got to go and share the eulogy. My mom was able to contact the state of Texas and was able to allow me to go. And the guards escorted me down there. And I mean, literally, I'm in handcuffs sharing the eulogy about my dad's life. And yeah, prison let you do that. Yeah, prison let me do that. And there was a lot of people there. You know, in addition to the poker tournaments, me and my dad helped start the TV show Cheaters during that time, too. I forgot to mention that we were in like 312 syndicated markets. So the owner of Cheaters was there, Bobby Goldstein, and gave me his condolences. A lot of famous people that my father was around and mobsters and stuff. A lot of them tell me, hey, when you get out, contact me and stuff, you know, you get those things. And and so literally, I just made parole. I'm getting out 52 days. So I served like, you know, two and a half years on my first four year sentence. And so I did get released. I go back to live with my grandmothers. And it wasn't long. I mean, I had just been baptized, too, right? And I was saying, you know, I was baptized into emotion, not the truth. So I really wanted to follow God. I wanted to not do the bad things again. And I got hooked up with a guy that had a limousine company that used to work for my dad. And, you know, he promised me a part ownership. I started driving limos. And I tell people all the time, not all money's good money.
1:00:53 Just because I was making a lot of money. I was making a lot of money. I was making a lot of money. It put me in backing around the clubs, back around the situation. Before you know it, I'm seeing some of my old crew, seeing those old girls I was around. And I ran into this one girl that her husband used to work for me. And he ended up going to prison. And they had separated and were gone. And and he was doing some time and stuff. And me and her started to see each other. And she invited me over to her apartment. And next thing you know, you know, I'm back over there all the time in between. And and there's drugs. Floating through her apartment and people used to work for me. And I'm thinking, OK, I got five months left on parole. You know, I'm not doing anything. I'm not selling. I'm not using. I'm starting to smoke cigarettes again. And and, you know, a little drinking here and there. But I'm still on parole. And so I want now to go to a party over at her house. And there's a lot of girls there. And I'm really there for the girls. I'll be honest. And I was like, and some old crew was there. And I remember one of them had a firearm in there. And I told him, get it out, man. I'm on parole. Can't have that. He promised he'd get rid of the gun. And I stayed there all night. You know, parties like that go all night, sometimes days. And we ended up getting raided. The door got kicked in early in the morning and we got raided by the Garland Task Force, the SWAT team, the same task force that raided me several years earlier. They sent me to prison the first time. I'd only been out of prison 15 months and they raided me and they find drugs. They find methamphetamines. They find ecstasy.
1:02:23 They find weapons in there and in cash. And of course they look at me and they say, look who we have here. We got meth master himself. Cause I was selling a lot of meth the first time I went to prison. And they were like, we got you now. And they charged me with everything in the place. And my first offer was 35 aggravated years. So I'm sitting in Dallas County jail for a couple years, biting my case. I'm like, you know, I'm going to go to trial. I mean, sure. I was guilty, for being there. I knew there was drugs there. You know, they weren't mine. I was partying with them. I guess the stuff I was taking, I mean, I was in possession of. So yeah, but not for everything. Even a couple of the guys were standup guys and told the cops, they tried to testify that it was their drugs. They wouldn't allow them to equip me. They were saying they were felons. So their testimony wasn't no good. But in, there was a guy that had followed me around the jails. I guess they followed me. Like they closed one jail in Dallas, open up another one. I got transferred.
1:03:21 He was in my cell. He got transferred. And then I went to computer school. I actually went to computer school and started taking computer classes there, which I did two years under computer science. And that was, you know, went back and started studying and got a little degree in that while I was locked up. And he went to computer school too with me. And what I didn't know was that the police had put him in there as an undercover snitch. He was trying to work off his own felons for burglary and a lot of other stuff. And he got up in my jury. So they were, they were basically going to be 35 aggravated a year. So I took them to jury trial. And this is important because here I am in the cell and I fasted up to this point. I fasted eight days. I never fasted longer than two or three days of my life, but I went eight days. And there's something definitely associated with fasting and your spirit man growing and getting closer to God. You know, you look in scripture, you see Jesus. Anytime he resurrected somebody said, feed them. It's like the food holds you to the ground. And it's like, you know, even when our original diet was plant-based, right? As, as man sin and Adam and Eve fell, then they started growing and working crops. And so then they would pull them up and they'd have to die. Originally you pull fruit off three of life. It grew back, right? It didn't die. So nothing had to die. As sin came in, then death was introduced. And then as it got further and further away and the flood came because man was wicked all the time and continually as Genesis 6, 11 says, then of course, you know, there was no vegetation. So meat was introduced.
1:04:52 So there was definitely a correlation between the further we get away from God and sin, more diet changes as well. So I'm fasting and first time in my life, I'm getting really connected to God. I'm like in the spirit. I'm quoting scripture. I'm walking. People might thought it was crazy because I'm in my cell and I'm just talking to God. And then I get tired, Bradley. It's day five. They deliberated five days on a drug case. Who does that? They did it for murder trials. I'm in my holdover cell outside the courtroom. I, it's day five and I'm tired and I get sleepy and I go over on the concrete bed that they have. And I lay down and I fell asleep. And about that time I hear a knock, dump, dump, dump. It's, it's the guard, the bailiff, what they call them. He says, they've got a decision. I'm thinking, what did I do? I felt like the disciples at Gethsemane when Jesus said, could you guys stay awake with me a couple hours and pray? I should have stayed awake praying, but I fell asleep. I got tired. My body was worn out. And now they got a decision. I felt like something wasn't going to be good. And I went in front of the judge and I took trial by jury, sentencing by judge. So the jury determined my guilt. The judge determined my sentence. And the jury found me guilty on all the drugs, but they found me not guilty on the gun charge. So they lowered it to a misdemeanor, which was time served. And the judge that gave me up to 99 years, the prosecution went in 35, but they dropped the aggravated. Aggravated means, that you got to serve at least 50% of your time for you can even look at making parole and being out. But the judge was like, okay, I'm going to take back your four years. Cause you violated your parole. And I'm going to give you 15 more years. That's how I ended up with 19 years.
1:06:35 And I went to Texas department of criminal justice, better known as TDC in state of Texas. And I started serving my time. And it was there that my whole entire life radically changed because now, I mean, when I got busted, um, the first time I had nine cars, two homes, Rolex watches, I, everything you could imagine money, um, women fame, but yet spiritually I was dead, you know, by the world standard I was made, but by God's standard, I was just a terrible, terrible, filthy rag. And I didn't know how broken I was. And if you never know the people around you or they're around you because of, they really care. They're around you because you got money and you got drugs and you got power and those types of things. But here I was. Second time in prison. I just got now 15 months earlier. My dad was dead. Um, you know, I still don't have any relationship really with my mother or my sisters. And there's another sister that had died. My, my other sister, um, unfortunately, um, she was, I always blamed her for my parents divorce. And before I went to prison the first time she was on her way to my house and got hit and killed by a drunk driver. So I never got to really forgive her for a lot of the things that I, you know, that I held her account. Number four. And it wasn't her fault. It was the sins of my father. Here I was in prison thinking about all this stuff, thinking about my past, thinking how in the world did my life. It's so out of control. I mean, like I said, I mean, yeah, I was making money in the gray areas. I was interviewed on national TV by Jim Acosta. I mean, they used to talk about, you don't have to go to Vegas. You got it all right here. Poker, boxing, gambling, all of it. I mean, that was like, I was supposed to be successful even though I was making money illegally and everything else to me, that was what the world was about.
1:08:21 You get what you take. But here I was in prison and I've lost everything. And, you know, the second time around, even my grandmother, she breaks her hip, 94 years old and passes away. So now I have nobody in my family. I literally lost six family members in 18 month period. My aunt had a stroke. I mean, it's just one person after the other. And God started to reveal to me and speak to me, but he does it through not an audible voice. That was the only time I ever heard what I believe was God's voice when he called my name. But God speaks to us through people, places, and things. And he would start revealing me that I needed to forget everything that I ever thought I knew about the Bible and pick it up and start studying line by line, chapter by chapter, verse by verse with no preconceived notions. And so here I am in prison. And instead of doing what I used to do, running the numbers board and the gambling, all the football stuff, working out, I'm taking care of my health. You know, I was in rip shape back then and everything, but I was also taking care of my spiritual man. And so, while everybody else was out there doing all this other stuff in their free time, when I wasn't working, I was reading the Bible. I was reading something about Christian history. I read 1,122 books on everything from history, geography, the Catholic church, Christianity, many different.
1:09:41 I studied, I read Jehovah's Witness, Latter-day Saints. I read the history of Calvinism. It didn't matter if it was anything to do with religion and history. I read the history of I was eating it up in politics and economy. So I was educating myself. And one of the first things I ever learned, because I had read the Bible cover to cover before, but I didn't read it with understanding. I was always fascinated with prophecy. But here I was at the beginning of the Bible, not the end of Revelations. And I get to Genesis chapter seven, verse one through four. And it said that Noah took the animals upon the ark, not just by twos, but by sevens. I was like, hold on. I know I've, I've read this chapter before, but I never caught that. I'm like, I thought he took them in by two by twos. So I started thinking, well, if that's true, and he took them in by sevens, it was clean and unclean. And it dawned on me, well, Noah had seven souls with him that were just and righteous in a generation, seven clean. And then the Levitical food laws of, you know, what was permissible to eat, not permissible. And I said, okay, if this little story went, because I grew up as a Sunday keeper, of course, we didn't really go to church other than Christmas, Easter, and weddings and funerals. And there was a lot of funerals, as you could imagine in my life. But this was a story that any Sunday school you would learn. And I'm like, well, if it's not two by twos, and it's only 50% of the truth, then what other 50% of the truth do I think I know about God's word that I don't? And now it radically clicks something in my mind that I needed to look at God's word totally fresh, that I need to catch everything in here. So I asked my mom, contacting my mother, who was in California, I started, I asked her if she could send me a Strong's Concordance. So she said, okay, she went in and sent it to me. She's thinking, oh, I just got some Joe House religion or something. I'm telling her about some of this stuff that I found.
1:11:36 But, you know, she's not really paying attention to it at this point. And now I'm getting into the Hebrew, the Greek. I'm learning about rib. When God created man, he put him to sleep and they didn't, you know, men and women have the same number of bones. So what does this really mean? The word is sloth, downward curving. Sloth, what, you know, is downward curving that you could possibly create life with DNA. And so me being a science guy, all these things started to open up and I've started seeing God's handiwork and everything. And it started to become very real to me. And I started progressing through the word of God and all the way up until I get to the prophecies of Daniel. And I'm, I'm studying the prophecies of Daniel and getting to the sanctuary message of Daniel 8, 14, 2,300 days of sanctuary. And I'm studying the prophecies of Daniel and getting to the sanctuary message of Daniel 9, where he'd be cleansed. And in the 70 week prophecy that talked about Christ. And of course, growing up a Baptist, when you get to Daniel 9, you are taught that there's a rapture, a secret rapture of the church. And the antichrist is going to set himself up in the holies of holies, call himself God, bringing a pig, restart the sacrifices, and there'll be abomination of desolation. And they, they call that, that person is speaking of that Daniel speaking of in chapter 9, verse 24 through 27, the antichrist. Well, that always confused me. And I'm like, well, because he calls him Messiah, Prince of peace. And I'm like, hold on. Yeah. Daniel would, this is Jesus he's talking about. And a week, a week is seven days of, you know, Ezekiel 14, 34 numbers, 14, six days a year. And all these things started clicking with me. And I'm like, hold on Jesus. They asked Jesus, how often should I forgive my neighbor? And he said, seven times, 70 times seven, which is 490. And the time prophecy is a 490, period that God gave his truth to the nation of Israel. But then since they sacrificed Christ in the final week, in the middle of the week, and then when Stephen was stoned in 34 AD, he took the gospel from them and gave it to the Gentiles. So he forgave them for 490 years, 70 times seven, but eventually it's like no more, you're not getting done what I've asked you to do. So now I'm going to give the truth to somebody else and let them go out and share it. So all of this started coming together. And then I got to, you know, the new Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and James. And then I got to the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and James. And then I got to, and I started seeing that, oh, Friday is the preparation day before the Sabbath.
1:13:56 Sunday is the first day of the week, the day after the Sabbath. And I found this in every one of the stories of the resurrection. So I'm like, what's in between that? That's Saturday. So I knew Saturday was the Sabbath, but I didn't know why. And then I went down and talked to my boss, who I was working for at the time in many different jobs from cleaning floors, SSI, worked in medical, worked with people that were on suicide watch and all these different things in the prison. And I told them that I wanted to keep the Sabbath, that God was convicting me to keep the Sabbath. And of course they told me I couldn't do that. There was a lot of problems and we would have little prayer circles. And a couple other guys would meet, they became Sabbath keepers too. We were studying and learning this stuff. And I remember being in our prison cells and holding hands and saying the Lord's prayer and they would come in and say, y'all are grouping up. That's gang activity. You can't be holding hands and coming together. And so they would break us up. And some of them had pentagram crosses and they'd say, you need to worship the God of TDC. And they would really threaten us with gas and putting us in the hold. And so I contacted my mother again and told her what was going on. And she got a hold of State Senator Royce West, who I knew from all my poker business. And he was actually not just acting pro-temper of the Senate, but that meant he was also over at Tech Department of Criminal Justice. He contacted the warden the next day. I'll say the next day, within like a week, I'm down at the warden's office. I'm down at the warden's office. I'm down at the warden's office. And evidently somebody got in trouble. They're like, why couldn't you have talked to us about this? And I'm like, I tried. Y'all threatened to gas me. I told you that I would work extra on Sunday. I work extra on Friday before the sun goes down. But God's telling me I need to keep the Sabbath, even in prison. And so they end up allowing me to work in visitation. And I went from some of the lowest jobs in the prison, Bradley. I felt like Joseph. They promoted me to now I'm working directly for the warden, what they call the warden's boy, which meant I could go anywhere on the prison I wanted to without permission because I work for the warden. I didn't literally go outside the prison without a guard. I put the flags up every day by myself. I had special privileges. And I was like, wow, I felt like Joseph's here. And so I started keeping the Sabbath, but I still don't have, I don't know why Sabbath is Saturday. I know why it's Saturday because God said so, but I didn't know why the Christian church was keeping Sunday. And I studied a lot of other denominations. And I was in prison, but there was always truth mixed with error. And so one day I go down to the library because I go to the library a lot. I was even a clerk in the library for a time there and working for the warden. I would go pretty much whenever I wanted. So I went down there and there was a popular science magazine and I opened it up because, you know, God reaches us where we're at there. He knew I was fascinated with science. So I'm always looking at popular science magazine. I wanted to see because I couldn't see technology out there in the world. I got arrested two weeks before the iPhone came out.
1:16:50 Think about this. And I had ordered, pre-ordered several of them, never got to see them. And it would be like all my thirties or I'm in prison. Where'd they go? Where'd it go? Your old iPhones you ordered. Oh, I'm sure somebody stole them or took them. That's normally what happens when you go to jail. People steal all your stuff. They didn't mind. Everything was gone, but it's okay. They were all made by ill-gotten gains. God didn't want me to have that. So here I am in prison. I'm down at the library. I'm seeing a popular science magazine and I thumbed to the back and it said, if you want to know truth about the martyrs. Mark of the beast and the Bible, right? The Bible says ministries. Well, I was fascinated by prophecy. I definitely want to know about the mark of the beast. And so I wrote them and they sent me a copy of the great controversy. They were a seven day Adventist prison ministry and it radically changed my life. Here I am reading the great controversy. And it's like for the first time in history, I'm not crazy. All this stuff that I'm learning and the Lord was revealing to me for years in prison. There's other people out there that believe this same stuff. It has to be true because I didn't learn it in church. I didn't learn it through any of the vintage Bible studies or some online evangelism. I learned it through inspiration of the Holy spirit. Yeah. Now that radically transformed my life. So, and now I started to understand the three angels message, the mark of the beast. And now the message, the little boy who knew there was a message that he was going to be a part of. Here's the message that God has been preparing me to share with the world.
1:18:20 And so now I had a mission. And remember when I was in my other world, it was all about the mission about making the money about growing. Now I had a mission that was godly, a mission that God could bless. And I remember contacting my mother and I started sending her these books by Ms. White and she started consuming them too. She fell in love with the writings of Ms. White, particularly desire of the ages. And she had been in the bar business since her and my dad, uh, divorce. She had had a nightclub. She had drank, she became an alcoholic for a time. And obviously her family's broke up, lost her son. She went through a lot of, a lot of hard trials and tribulations. My mom was, was raped when she was coming out of Missouri, just out of high school, long before she met my dad, which is how she ended up walking into his club in the first place in hot Springs, Arkansas. But here I am sending these books and sending this stuff to my mother and my mother, she's falling in love with it. And she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's, she's like, now she's starting to come to the Adventist faith. And I got on my knees one night in prison. I said, Lord, if you'll bring me up out of this prison cell, I hadn't made parole yet. I said, if you'll bring me up out of here and restore everything that the locust plagues in me took from me, but, but restore it in your time, your manner, your will. So it glorifies you, you know, take care of me for my Crohn's disease and bring my mother and my sisters back in my life. I will come out and serve you every day of my life.
1:19:52 So I made parole right after that. And I was released December 2nd, 2011. I had wrote a lot of seven day Adventist churches. Only one wrote me back, which was West Houston. And I walked in there three days after I got out of prison, uh, first seven day Adventist church I'd ever stepped foot in. And I remember the secretary, Barbara Battistone, she's like, Oh, come on in. I'm going to take you into a class with a senior pastor. And I'm like, wow, God is putting me right with a senior pastor. Wow. I'm going to learn all kinds of stuff. I didn't know everybody went through a new members class. You know, I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to Adventists, though, how everything works. And, but, you know, I'm taking that as a sign. And so I, you know, I started studying under his wing and eventually he kicked me out and told me I need to start teaching and preaching. I started doing Sabbath school. And about that time, about, you know, within a year is when making life changes was born. And, and, uh, you know, from that point, you know, the ministry has just been a blessing to so many people. When I came to that Adventist faith, people asked me, when did the honeymoon period end? I said, it's never stopped. I mean, I love it. Just reaching people with the truth that radically transformed my life and not to mention, you know, I've, it'd been 20 years since my divorce was finalized with my first wife. And I really wanted a godly woman in my life. And so I started searching and I tried a lot of different Christian dating sites. They weren't Christian or I'd meet girls that were Christian of some faith, but when it came to keeping the Sabbath, they couldn't understand it or they want to go out on Friday night and Saturday, morning. And, you know, it just, it didn't work. Yeah. And I did date this one girl that was in my church, but we just ended up being friends. We were good friends, party friends, never had an argument, no problem. She's married now and happy and I'm happy for her, but it just, you know, we were just what she said. Holy spirit said that I'm not the one for you, that God has a woman that's going to be involved with your ministry. I've got to share this because this is a vital part of my testimony, but here I am, um, doing Bible study class. And, and I just kept praying about a lot.
1:21:50 Everybody knew in my church that I wanted a wife and, um, my pastor had told me he needed to get on Adventist dating. So what's that? He said, it's a site for Adventist. You got to prove you're Adventist. You've got to be baptized. They got to see your paperwork, et cetera. So I get on it within a week. I meet this girl, she's from the Philippines and her profile says, when I meet a man, if our relationship doesn't draw us closer to Jesus, I don't need to be in a relationship. Wow. That's pretty interesting. And she's pretty, she's beautiful. And so I start talking to her name's Debbie. And, um, and within like just a week, we canceled our accounts and moved over the Facebook messenger. Cause we didn't, we're like, no, something's here. God's doing something. We don't want to be tempted with anybody else. Let's see where this goes. And, um, you know, so I start kind of getting to know her and this is a safe relationship. She's 9,000 miles away in the Philippines. And she had always wanted to come to America and marry a pastor evangelist. This had been her dream. And I'm telling her, my story and sharing all this with her. And at this point we're online like seven months and I'm telling her, well, I want to come see you. I want to meet you in person. You know, obviously she'd have to immigrate and I already checked into it. She'd have to get a K one visa in order to do that. The American has to travel abroad. Sure. Well, I'm banned from 98% of Southeast Asia. Cause my criminal record, I can't leave the state of Texas. They'll learn the United States cause I'm on parole. I didn't know you couldn't do that. Well, yeah. And, um, there's no direct flights from here to the Philippines. I can't leave the state of Texas. I can't leave the state of Philippines. So I couldn't stop in Hong Kong. Couldn't stop in India. There's a lot of places I'm banned for my drug cases. I'm like, she's like, just not going to happen. I said, if God wants us to be together, he will make a way I'm going to be there in May. This is three months earlier. So whenever things get tough for me, Bradley, you know what I do? I hunker down hard on serving the Lord. So I was teaching Sabbath school. I picked up some extra lessons for some other teachers. And I'm like, okay, I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this. I'm going to do this.
1:23:49 I'm going to do, you know, y'all can take this time off. We rotated, but I want to take the next month, whatever. And I'm, I'm going out and doing more homeless ministry, you know, prison ministry, everything. I'm just more and more ministry, you know, cause I feel like, okay, you know, God says, if we honor him, he honors us. And so I'm like, I'm doing my part, Lord. I'm going to count on you to do the rest. And I'm teaching Sabbath school class. We leave, we're fixing to go to the main service and I bump into a guy. And I got to give you a background because up to this point, the previous week, I asked my parole officer if I could go to the, he jokingly laughed and he said, well, we took a vote on it and the vote passed as long as you can get a passport. He laughed. According to the laws of the passport, convicted felon on parole cannot leave the country, have passport while he's on parole. It's pretty basic, pretty simple. And I promised the Lord, I said, Lord, if I go to the Philippines, it's not going to be for the girl. It's going to be the priest of the three angels message. I said, if you want to give me the girl, that's great. But if I go to the Philippines, it's not going to be for the girl. Open up a way where I can go preach. I bump into this guy. He said, are you the prison ministry guy? I said, yeah, you want to join? He said, no, but I want to take you to lunch. He said, I heard your testimony and it was so powerful. He said, I just want to break bread with you and just, you know, spend some time with you. So I said, okay. So next week he tells me where to meet him. If this would have been 20 years earlier, I would have thought of getting set up. That's where this guy beats me at. He meets me outside the J. Edgar Hoover building of the FBI. Oh, I'm like, what are we doing here? And there's this little cafe stand down the street, you know, like one of those little, uh, uh, car places. What do you call them? You know, where you go and grab taco or whatever. And he's got some chairs out front.
1:25:33 I'm like, why are we meeting here? But he said, I work here. So you work here. Oh, what do you do? He said, I process passports for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who at that time was at registered, you know, seven day events that she had passed away last year. And I said, you don't say all of my story. And within two weeks, I get a letter signed, not just by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, but by Congress allowing me to go to the Philippines to for humanitarian efforts. There is a clause in the U S passports to preach the gospel and to pursue a K one visa. If I decide to ask her to marry me. Wow. So I literally, this was so amazing because the date that I was leaving in touchdown was May 4th. I told her I would be there in May. And we, when I get there, I mean, she was, it was like our first meeting at Manila airport. We touched down as Sabbath was coming in. It was like seven 34. The Sabbath had just started. And our first date was Vespers at Pasay there in the Philippines. That was our first date we ever spent together was in church. And then her sister chaperoned us like any good sister with, and she toured us. And we went all over the Philippines. We went to nine different major cities and Luzon. We traveled. I stayed a month. Debbie was very gracious and everything that I got to experience and see. And then I got to go up to meet her parents and we're approaching the time that I'm getting ready to leave.
1:27:09 Um, and my, my birthday's coming up. My birthday is May 21st and I'm talking to her father and he's, we're up in the jungle. We actually travel up to our province and I'm going to preach a sermon. I already preached at a couple of the churches there in the Manila area. And now I'm going to travel to her village, which was about 12 hours North of Manila. And they have a church there, I guess that was put together by early missionaries and submitted to church in the mid to late 1800s. And it's still there in their little village. They're a Mateo clan. I'm telling her father that I'm going to preach a sermon called preparation for the marriage supper of the lamb. I want to bring Debbie up on the sanctuary at the end of the message is I need a, a prop for the bride and the bridegroom. She's not going to know, but I'm going to ask her to marry me. And I, but before, you know, I'm saying, I want your blessing, but I just, now I'm in the middle of the jungle. Her dad's out here, one-handed cutting coconuts with machete, with machete. And I'm telling him that I was a drug dealer. I was an organized crime, killed a man at 17. I'm literally sharing with him like I did with you for like an hour out there in the middle of the jungle. I'm 9,000 miles away from home. I got nobody coming for me. If something happens. And he's like, he tells me, I said, I want your blessing. I want you to be there. He said, I'll be there. He didn't speak much English, but he knew English, but he couldn't speak it very good because English is their second language over in there. And they speak Tagalog. So I do, as I said, I preach this sermon. And of course, Filipino events.
1:28:47 Very conservative. So Debbie comes up and, and nobody knows what's going on. And all of a sudden I'm getting to the end where Christ is about to return. And I finish up my sermon and then I get down on my knees and everybody's gasping because they think, well, now I'm probably fixing to ask her to marry me, but they think I'm fixing to put a ring on her finger. Of course they don't, you know, jewelry out there. And, and of course we don't need that as well either as, as just trinkets, right? That don't really mean anything because our marriage is in Christ. And instead I sat on my knees and I said, as I said, I'd like to give you a token of my love for you. It was a rock I found in the ocean when we were at Porto Galera and it looked like a heart. And I said, this represents not only my love, but Christ, which is the center of our love. And he is our rock. And I want to ask you to serve with me in ministry. And if you will do that, if you also marry me. So it was ministry first, then marriage. In fact, anybody wants to see it. It's on my YouTube channel. And one of my testimonial playlists, you can see the proposal and the sermon I preached there. And this was amazing because this was her parents' 34 year wedding anniversary. It was May 18th. I didn't know that. Her dad gets up in front of the church after she said yes, and she's crying and everything. And in broken English, he says, it took God to send someone from 9,000 miles away for me to get married. And I said, get rid of unforgiveness in my heart. Here's what I didn't know. Her father had a best friend that died of a drug overdose almost 20 years earlier. Her father grew up a deacon in the church, served in the church. But when this happened, and I don't know with the circumstances, they'll never talk about it, but he left the church. I mean, he was Adventist, but in name only, he quit attending services. And because of this friend. And in fact, at the time, the Filipino government, if you had even drug possession, it was worthy of the death penalty. They were literally lining up people in the street and exit, you know, they had people being executed over there. It made, you know, world news and stuff. And here I am telling her father my past and knowing this, he could have just took me out with that machete and, you know, nobody would have been coming to save Harold. But instead he forgave me and it brought him back to church. And that was so powerful of a message. And I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know anything about that. Now, forward, Debbie, you know, after, of course, we get married and everything, you know, because of our American income, her father got a very bad illness. He came down with stage five prostate cancer and kidney failure. Because of our income, we've been able to keep him alive for many number of years since she's been over here in the States.
1:31:41 And just think, had he not have gotten rid of unforgiveness, he'd be dead right now. So, see, God worked a miracle in many ways. Now, before we left Manila, we're at the airport and it is the day after my birthday. It's May 22nd. And just starting May 22nd. And Debbie says she wants a sign. I said, what do you mean you want a sign? She says, I want to ask God for a sign to see whether or not we're really meant for each other and this is supposed to be. I said, what sign do you want? For us not to be apart. For us not to be apart more than a year. President Trump is in his first term. He's closing the border off. All kinds of things are happening. Immigration is taking a whole lot longer and you're asking for a year for a K-1 visa? I didn't say that, but I looked at her and I said, if it's God's will, God will perform a miracle. And so we hugged each other and we cried and I got on the plane and I left. And I kid you not, you can't make this stuff up. Everything that went through, it was like God orchestrated, even with our immigration attorney, which was seven day Adventist that I met, God put in our path and Debbie got her visa approved and she touched down in Los Angeles. Now, remember I left May 22nd. She touched down on my birthday, May 21st. And we spent my birthday at Disneyland one year to the date.
1:33:12 I say that because the Philippines is a day ahead, the 24 hours. So if it's the 22nd over there, it's the 21st. Exactly one year to the date. You can't make that stuff up. And God's been performing miracles over and over and over like that in our lives. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I mean, I could talk to you too during that time, because this is really important for your viewers, the spiritualism, because I want to share now a part of my testimony that I've never, ever shared with any Adventist church. I don't want to share any forums, anything at all. This is something that I've really kind of kept to myself and just a few family members. My wife knows about it, but during this time that I grew up around my dad and I got involved in organized crime and in the industry, I was also in the entertainment industry. As I mentioned, I was in professional boxing business. We were running gambling houses, poker tournaments, and I was also in the music industry. Well, spiritualism was something that I wasn't directly involved in, but I was involved in the music industry. But I witnessed. And it was a big part, I think, too, of a lot of the issues and things that occurred in my life. I had people that I managed, me and my father managed in the music industry that would dedicate their records to Satan, want people to, you know, want the demons to come into the music so it would empower them and make them rich. These things were real. There was rich people that were around us that would perform money baths where they would be naked and would have people do their work. And I think that's a big part of what I've been involved in.
1:34:48 Massagers come in and massage hundred dollar bills into their body. These things were just strange, hence strange normal, but it was very normal to them. And so I was exposed to a lot of this stuff. It wasn't just Gino and what was going on with, you know, Gino felt, you know, before he killed those people that, you know, he could eat human flesh in certain parts of the body and it would empower him to be able to come across the border and not get caught by border patrol. And so I was exposed to these different things, but I was also exposed to a supernatural element throughout my life. And it started in approximately 1978 when I was in Fort Worth, Texas. I was just seven years old. Now, this was around about the same year I told you that God was reaching me through that big Bible that I found. And so there was some connection there because Satan didn't like that. So Satan started to, you know, make himself known to me or try to make himself known to me. And so I was exposed to these different things, but I was also exposed to many ways. And I was at home with my dad and he was pointing out the bedroom window. I want to say it was about, it was nighttime. I don't, I don't really know. Maybe it was, it was dark. So maybe it was eight, eight o'clock, you know, that sounds about right. I know he didn't let me stay up super late. But my dad was pointing out the bedroom window and he told me to come up there. It's something he wanted me to see. And he points up at the stars and they were moving in a very unusual way. It was almost like there was one of the stars that was pointing out the bedroom window. And he was pointing out the one star. And then there was something that came off of them and they went like this. And then they would just go off and vanish and, and incredible speeds. And then the one in the center shot up. And that was really all I remember about that one event. And my dad was saying that, you know, we're star seated. And of course he had a collection of books.
1:36:37 He was very much into reading a lot of stuff about the pyramids, Easter Island, um, Egyptian, uh, eschatology and, and, um, it was called chariot of the gods, I believe was one of the books back then. And it was very into that stuff. My dad was a very avid reader as well. And so he was kind of sharing with me that maybe we were supposed to be more than everybody else. And this fed a lot into his desire for money and for power that he kind of indoctrinated your helm, you're somebody special. And so he always had this quest for not just money, but power. And so that was my first book. And I think that's what I'm going to talk about next. My first experience was something supernatural that I couldn't explain. And then go a few years forward, probably one, two o'clock in the morning, still in Fort Worth, Texas. This was 1981. I think I was about 10 years old at that time. And I was sleeping in bed with my, uh, I went to go visit. There was a few times in my life that my dad allowed me to go visit my mom, but every time I would go to my mom's, uh, he would always put her down. So when I, you know, when I come back, he was always like, Oh, your mom's terrible. She's an alcoholic, a drunk. You don't need to see her. And so, you know, but she would fight, fight, fight, and try to get to see me every now and then. And this was one time I got to go see her. And, um, my, I told you I had three of her sisters with her, but so one of them's just, so there was always three, four and five years older than me, the oldest Becky, she's in another room and, and, and me and, and Brennan, Michelle had to share a bedroom. So I'm sleeping in them, uh, in the bed and I get woken up, um, pretty early in the morning. I was probably about 3.00 AM.
1:38:18 And I remember seeing the whole room illuminate. My sister, Brenda gets woken up. Like, at least I think she's awake. She sits up and we don't know what it is, but it's like the, the light outside was so bright that it illuminated through the curtains and it's pulsating, you know, almost like, but it made no, there was no sound. It was just light. When he was pulsating, um, like the, the light would go bright. Like you'd see like intensity, intensity would come up and they would go down. But it's, there's a window here, window here, window behind us. We're in this bedroom that has like three windows and there's closets on this other side. And so it was very intense and it's brightened up the whole house, like in the room. And I had this sensation that I couldn't move, you know, almost like I was frozen and weightless. I couldn't really understand it. And when I woke up the next morning, I thought that I had a dream, but one of my sisters remembered that exact same event. Uh, in fact, you know, she went back and told me about the bright light, um, that she couldn't move. It was almost like we were paralyzed. And these events started to, to really, you know, I'm going to move through some of these cause they started to, to, to really go on all throughout my life. Like I said, it started when I was about seven and then a couple of years later, then again, when I was about 12 years old. So it seemed to be a little pattern here. Every few years I'd have these experiences and Fort Worth again, you know, that we either lived in Dallas, I was born in Dallas, but we spent a lot of time.
1:39:48 My early child in Fort Worth and eventually would move back to Dallas. It's probably about eight or nine o'clock. I'm 12 years old. And, um, at this time I'm visiting my sisters again. So it's about every three, four years, I might get to go see them. And then I went a period, I think of five or eight years where I didn't see them, but I could count probably a handful of times. And at this time, my mom is living in Fort Worth and, um, her, she, she was in a marriage, uh, with another guy and his son got murdered. A few weeks before it was also a feature on unsolved mysteries. They just recently cracked that case like last year for all these years. Um, what was her name? What was, what was his, if I wanted to insert a clip in here from the unsolved mystery, Oh, Harry, uh, Aberdeen, Harry Aberdeen. Okay. Yeah. So he was stabbed, um, on his way to prom with his girlfriend. Uh, somebody bumped him from the back. He got out and he stabbed him multiple times and, uh, he was dead pretty much, you know, as soon as he hit the ground, they, and like that whole time, they never found out who, who killed him. And so it was, it was a mystery. Um, but here I was visiting them just recently after this happened and we're playing together in the back room. And I said, I'm 12 years old and we hear like someone open and closing, uh, cabinets in the kitchen. We're kind of scared right now. My mom is at her club. She's at the bar. So she had a bar in Hemphill called the dugout. She's working. She left us all there. My oldest sister's in charge. Um, and it's somebody sounds like somebody's in the kitchen and we're like, Oh no, it's my broken into the house, but we get brave and we kind of all, all of us sneak in there and we start coming down the hallway. And then we hear something like the back door open. So we go into the kitchen and we see that the cabinets are open and something had fallen out into the sink dish or something didn't break. I think it was plastic. And we look outside and, what we saw outside was what appeared to be, well, I guess for lack of better words, a ghost of Harry sitting on the fence of the garden, looking at us and just turned. And then all of a sudden he was vanished and gone. We were so freaked out and so scared that we had thought we had seen a ghost. Now I'm too young to really come to the knowledge that I have now. And so we didn't know what it was. And we told my mom about it. And of course she didn't believe any of it.
1:42:18 She, she thought, you know, we were telling ghost stories or something. And, you know, but these things kept happening. All kids saw it. Yeah. We, we all, well, at my oldest sister didn't see it because she was in the other back room. It was just me, Brendan, Michelle. Okay. Same two that was with me in the room when the other incident occurred. Now that's interesting, probably too. So it was the three of us, same three. And, you know, like I said, nobody believed us. And then a few more years passed. And then we were in the other back room. And we were in the other back room. And I waslisted andatalized at the same time. And we were just just, we were in the opposite seat. So there's no particular details. About what was going on in the room. That's just, we don't know right now. So, so for one day I went out of the room and we're in the there, I it was around like snap, snap now. I believe I was eight years old. And I was Known, you know, I was in Elias Woodward training location. So I think for about the three, I was in for a school night hours. I didn't have myốn first year of high school My son took 8th and year senior I learned Starr sport and ripped, uh, the weekendejce in a mówiw putting your beautiful boy I don't get what you're saying but I really wanted to learn what you're doing. Who tell you this is let me know. I'm not really awake, but am I awake? And I have this sense of weightlessness. And so I tried to snap myself out of it. And it's like, I would just almost like jerk myself, but I'm not really, it's like, I'm not really asleep, but I'm not really awake. And this happened to me many times from 14 to about 19 years old. I kept having these reoccurrences of this sensation where I couldn't move my body. Now, what it was, I don't know.
1:43:49 But it also felt during this time, it was very scary. And I felt that whatever was going on with me, it was terrifying. So I knew it had to be something bad and almost like demonic. And then in 1991, probably after all these events stopped occurring of this sleep, and now I'm in college at that time, I was going to the University of Texas and I'm hanging out with one of the guys that I was with who would later introduce me to psychedelics. And he had read like satanic Bible. He was into the occult. He was into piercings and tattoos, but somehow or another, we became friends in college. And it's amazing that we still are in contact to this day. I'll tell you about that in a minute, how God really transformed his life. But here we are, we are going to see some friends. We're in College Station. I want to say, it was close to midnight. I'm 20 years old. Yeah, we were out with several friends that he knew from the Bryan College Station area. We were on their parents' ranch and it was late at night. And of course, you know, they're drinking. I'll be honest with you. I drank a little bit in college, but I never really liked to drink. You know, my drug of choice was always high-end marijuana. I didn't have any this night. We couldn't find any. We were coming back. We're on the road. We didn't want to really travel with it and so forth. And so we're at his friends and they're like, hey, let's just lay out among the stars. They've got a huge ranch, probably two, 300 acre ranch. They're family, you know, well off. And so we take some pickup trucks that they had and we go and we, you know, we put some blankets and we're laying in the back and we're watching the stars. And after watching the stars for a while, saw the most peculiar thing. And I'm laying down, my friend's on the tailgate and a couple of our buddies got some girls. I didn't have any girl with me. So we're just watching the stars. And I look up and I said, I said, hey, John, look at that, man. That's weird. It looks like a star, but all of a sudden it starts moving and it starts twirling around a little bit. And I started seeing these stars like dance in a circular motion. It wasn't just one, now it's three, four, five of them. And it lasted like, they started making different patterns, formations, and everybody saw this. And it lasted for several minutes. And then. A couple of them vanished, like shot off in different direction. And a couple of them, almost like they became the constellations. If you can understand this, it looks like stars that are moving. Then all of a sudden they're not moving no more and they become the constellation again or whatever they were, got in front of the stars. So it looked like they were part of the constellations, but now they weren't moving no more. Just look like normal sky. That was pretty strange. And, you know, I still, I'm having these experiences every few years, these things are happening.
1:46:47 And of course it probably doesn't help that the guy that I'm with is deeply involved in the occult. Yeah. Oh, I really. Satanism. Yeah. And of course he was the one I said introduced me to, you know, the psychedelics. Huh. Okay. And then we progress. I'm with this same guy. Me and him would, would travel and hang out a lot together. We ended up getting a place off campus. We were roommates with a couple other guys for a while. And this was. Oh, probably 1992. Uh, so I think it was right about the next year. And me and him were traveling back from, uh, where are we traveling back from? Uh, we're traveling back outside Lincoln, Texas. We're on the road. Uh, you know, at that time I was even making trips to Mexico to go party down there. So sometimes we just hop my pickup truck. We'd go down cause you know, we're in Austin. It's not five, six hours from the border. And we go down there and party, go to some of our friends. I was really partying a lot back then. Uh, but I wasn't the type that I never drank and drive, never did drugs. I was driving. I was very, very, I was like a functioning addict, I guess you would say, or somebody was doing drugs. And so there's times that I would pick times that, okay, I'm going to, I'm going to get messed up, but you know, there was times that I could say completely sober. So I, you know, I didn't want to get pulled over, have any problems. And so we're, we're coming back and, and, uh, and we're in a place called Lincoln, Texas. Now we're trying to get back to UT Austin to college.
1:48:12 And we stopped close to, um, Bryan college station. Again, we, you know, had a lot of things we were doing down there in that area. And of course we asked some people from Texas A&M how to get back to UT big mistake. Cause they sent us on the wrong direction. I ended up at the place in Lincoln, Texas. There was tarot cards, signs everywhere. And it's kind of crazy. We passed through the town and said, man, we are lost. Sure. So we're on a little bitty dirt road that we have no cars, no nothing. We're driving. I look off in the distance and he sees it. And I'm like, look at that. There's a light pulsating and it's coming. It's really far in the distance, but it's almost like it's coming up like this and it's illuminating the clouds. It's so bright. The same rate pulsate as the one you saw in the similar. Yes. So it it's, it's like bright and then fade back down. Okay. Right. And of course he had worked, he had done some experience in the oil industry before he was in, and he wasn't going to college. He, he was just a friend of mine. I met through, I was running the pool hall at there at the local dorm. And that's how I met this guy. But he had worked on the Alaskan pipeline, you know, before he got involved in drugs and a lot of other stuff. The cult guy or not? The guy I'm with, the John guy. And was he the guy that was in the cult? Yes. Yes. Okay. Yeah. And so he's thinking, oh, this may be as an oil fire or pipeline. And he's like, you know, I'm like, sure is bright. It's way too bright. So I'm like, look, we're getting closer to it. The road that we're going is actually kind of bringing us in that direction. And it's like, look, man, that ain't no, cause it's not the right colors. And he was trying to tell me what a gas fire looks like. And it's not a gas fire. It's not a house fire. He's like, I've never seen anything like that. You know, I'm a science major. I'm like, yeah, definitely. This is pretty weird.
1:49:54 I'm like, we're getting closer. I said, let's just go check it out. Let's see what it is. So we take another little side road, dirt road, and we go down and I'm in my pickup truck and we get where it's super bright. And it's so bright, Bradley, that's illuminating the bottom of the clouds. Yeah. Wow. Like you can literally see clouds because it's so bright. You can tell there's clouds up there. Cause it's, it's really cloudy. And we go down, there's a, there's a, there's like a gate there, but the gate's open and there's llamas. Now at that time, I didn't know Texas had llama farms. There's my dozens of these llamas. And then there, I've got my headlights on. I'm blowing my horn out for the llamas to get off the road. And they're just petrified. They're looking at this light. They're staring at this light. They're not moving. So I kind of drive around them. It's dirt road. I'm in a truck. So I go around and we get closer and there's a ravine. Now, granted we are in the hill country where it, that part of Texas, there's a lot of ravines, a lot of cliffs, and it's, it's kind of hilly. And so it's not uncommon for there being ravines. But we go over to the edge. This thing is so bright now. I mean, it is just like, it's super bright, like illuminating you almost not like the sun hurting your eyes, but really bright. And now we get up over the ravine. I'm like, it's down in the, you know, it's down there. And he looks at, he's like, he's like, he said something. I won't repeat, but he was freaked out. And it looked like a ball, like an orb of light. It was pulsating, making everything brighter. And right when we looked at it, it probably wasn't two to three seconds. It's like this thing had some type of intelligence because the ball of light, I'd say for lack of better words, an orb, it literally came up over the cliff. Like it was knew we were there and coming at us. We turn around and started sprinting back to my truck as fast as we could. We were like, let's get the blankety blank out of here. And we jumped back in my truck. I'm not, it was a standard. I know I threw it in the gear. I remember peeling out around this and I don't care if I hit a llama, we're gone. He's telling me, you know, this is demonic. It's evil. They're demons or demons. I know exactly what this is. You know, he was involved in the occult and he's like, it's after us. And so I'm like, we're trying to get out of here. And as we're driving, I look over and there's bushes.
1:52:13 Really heavily wooded and look out the window. And it just looks like what appeared to be a group of men with sheep clothing hats on, you know, like you've seen them with like people that that are like tribal people, but they have like this wolf skins with the hats, uh, where they, they were wearing like they're running, but they're, they're running through the trees, like passing through it. Like, you know, almost like spirits, or at least that's what I think they were trying to make me think that they were. Um, and it was really crazy. And, you know, we got back on the road. We, we finally found a way back to UT. We promised ourself that, you know, Hey, we, we weren't going to talk about this with anybody when we got back. Uh, and we didn't, but it was, it was pretty crazy. Can, can I ask you one thing? You know, I'm, I have to ask this, no drugs, no alcohol. We were one, I wasn't a drinker, but no, we, the, we had no drugs. In fact, we were hoping we could get some drugs when that was one of the reasons that, cause I wasn't, you know, this was a time in college that in between, but I, I didn't start selling yet. And we were actually trying to make some connections was one of the reasons we were traveling. I was trying to make some connections in college to buy and sell drugs. And so we didn't have any at that time. We were actually upset because we didn't have any, man, we were completely sober and this was crazy. And, uh, you know, so, you look back at it now, this same person, uh, years later made contact with me. He was in Hawaii, was down on his luck. He asked for a little bit of money. Um, so he was trying to get his life in order. I sent him, uh, he said he needed money to take a course for some type of training. I sent it to him, never heard from him again until a couple of years ago, years after I got out of prison, he found me on Facebook and contacted me and told me, I want to thank you.
1:54:09 You're the only person that helped me. When I was in Hawaii, I got stranded over there. He went to Hawaii. He thought he was going to go out there and I don't know, uh, he played guitar too. Maybe he thought he was going to become somebody or have some, whatever it was, but he didn't work out for him. He got stranded and he had no money. He was down on his ends and I gave him enough money for him to take a course for him to become a salesperson with Toyota. Okay. And over the next 15 to 20 years, he became the number one salesperson in the entire nation. And now he's married, has a wonderful wife and family. He's a Christian. Now I turned his life around and lives in that same area tour. Some of this stuff took place. Yeah. Wow. And he told me if I passed through that area to come look him up so he can, he can take me, uh, you know, take me out to eat. It's more confirmation of those, those spiritual things. See, cause I, I, I have just been floored by this whole idea that, that the, and I'm, I'm sorry, I'm taking away from your testimony, but, but just, I guess between us and maybe whoever's watching these, you always think of angels as these winged cherubim, right? That, or, or, or even as they were drawn in Catholic paintings as these little babies with, with wings. Right. And, and, but that's not anything like we, uh, what seems like whenever the devil shows himself or angelic presences appear, it has something to do with this, this weird, uh, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this weird round orb thing. Yes, brightness, energy, light, and of course, angels are associated with light. In fact, you know, even, even God, when you think about the burning bush and Moses, and when God, you know, when Moses asked him to reveal himself to him and, and, and he passed over him, you know, you had this brightness that illuminated Moses when he came down off the mountain. And, you know, from purely scientific method, you know, God exists outside the laws of physics because he created them. Of course, in Einstein, if you travel at the speed of light, time stops. And if time stops, you can be past, present, future in every place at the same time, which, you know, is, it makes it easy for God being God because he's beyond those. Um, but yeah, every time we see these, these forces at work that they're not the wing creatures, but I think, you know, if you were primitive people and you're trying to describe something that moves in the air around, of course, they always made like halo, like brightness. And they talked about that brightness, but you, the only thing they knew was birds.
1:56:40 Yeah. So they could associate wings with these angels as flight, but. No, yeah. I don't want to stop you, but the, the, the, I'm reminded of, there's some very distinct, uh, times in White's writings where she says you go to heaven and they do have wings, but at the same time. They can change their form too. They can change their form. Yeah. So I, I don't know. I think we'd see through a glass darkly kind of right now. We don't understand it completely, but I, I am confident that what you saw. It's definitely an angelic presence. I do too. Um, and I think, you know, people forget Satan's an angel. Yeah. Demons are angels. They're just fallen angels. Yeah. They're not the good angels. And, you know, they, and I believe that, you know, Satan can't just say, let there be light. He's not God. He can't create something by speaking it, but he can use technology. And Satan has had advanced technology well beyond, uh, any timeframe that we could even imagine.
1:57:39 Hmm. We don't know how much. We don't know how much time transpired from the time that God, you know, God created us and that sin came in, uh, you know, some, you know, it was that first week, you know, if they were created perfect, was there even time at that point in the sense that we understand because time's a definition of, of things decaying and dying a carbon atom. So, you know, you start thinking about that stuff and going, you know, um, of these prospects and going, okay, these angelic beings that were good, that fell and became bad. They still are. They're beautiful. They still have their forms or they were given, but their intention and is evil. And that's why it's always important to go back to the Bible. Yeah. So, you know, I kept having more and more appearances in 1996. I had a really major one that, that I had other people with me besides this guy, um, me and my mom and my first wife at that time that I was still married, uh, still married to her. And this is 1996. We're traveling. My uncle. Carl passed away in Missouri and we went up there. And of course my mom had taken this trip dozens of times in her life from Texas. We go through the Indian turn by never missed a turn, but for some reason or another coming back, we missed a turn.
1:58:54 We end up in one of those roads with cornfields on both sides and we're traveling. Um, I want to say, um, you know, it was late at night. Well, probably, probably, you know, well, well after midnight, we've been driving. I've been driving quite a few hours. And my mom and, and my wife at that time are both in the car and they're, I can't find, there's no truck stops. There's nothing, there's no cars and now I've got to go to the bathroom. So I literally stopped on a corn road, which a lot of times people do when you're out in the middle of nowhere. And, um, and eventually, you know, my wife gets out, she wants to smoke a cigarette and smoking cigarettes at that time. Is your first wife? First wife. Yeah. The one that was, that was dancing in the club. Yeah. And, um, we, my mom gets out, she wants to stretch her legs.
1:59:45 And my mom looks up at the sky and my mom says, what is that? It looks like a spider on water. What she saw was what looked like a star and it jumped across the sky. Oh, I've seen that. Yeah. She called it a spider on water. Now, me being a science guy, I'm like, it's not a meteorite. It's not a planet, not a satellite. Nothing that I could say. Okay. You know, the, the inclination, the, the, the amount of, of, of distance that is traveling like this is probably, you know, thousands of miles across the sky like this. It's so high up and it's traveling so far, so fast that nothing that we know can, can do that. And we're like, what is that? And about that time, my mom's like, and the door's open, the car's still running. And my mom's like, I got to sit down for a minute. I'm getting dizzy. So we break our eyes off this.
2:00:39 Look at my mom. She sits in the car and then immediately me and my wife turn and look over our shoulder. I cannot, the, it was almost like something drew us to turn and look over our shoulder and right behind us, maybe, maybe a football field length away from us, two to 300 foot off the ground. I see what appears to be a half of a moon manta ray shaped craft, almost like a stealth. Spider, you know, they didn't have stealth back then. At least they, they didn't tell us they had stealth, but it wasn't pointy. It was round and you could see through it. Like you could see the sky, the stars behind it. It was, in other words, it was transparent. We turned and looked at the same time. And just like that, as soon as we realized it was there, it skipped across the sky from one end of the horizon to the other, made no sound and left little twinkles, like literally like tracers, like you could see it.
2:01:38 We went straight. We went straight back to the car, which we're only like, we're maybe four or five foot behind the, you know, we're like, my mom just got back in the car. We were at towards the bumper of the car. So we literally just have to take one or two foot till right there. And my mom's asleep in the car. We're about to tell her that that thing that you just saw, we just saw because we think it's connected and she's asleep. I'm like, hold on. This hadn't been a few seconds. I'm like, mom, you know, I'm telling the spider on water. You just saw, we just saw back here. It was, it was like a spaceship. She's like, what are you talking about? What spider on water? I'm like the star that you saw that was jumping. She's like, I don't know. She saw, was I asleep? And I'm like, you said you were dizzy. You said in the car, if you saw that now you're saying you're asleep. I said, quit, get a piece of paper. I said, and my wife's first name was Sheila. I said, Sheila, don't, don't tell me what you saw. Draw it. So grabbed pencil, paper, some we had on glove for me.
2:02:34 I draw it. She draws it. We throw it together and it looks pretty much the same. We both saw it. She's got chills or hair standing up on her arm and everything else. And then my mom looks at the clock. She goes, hold on. She goes, it's, it was like almost two o'clock in the morning. Well, hold on. We pulled over here, you know, like 45 minutes ago. We haven't been out here 45 minutes, almost an hour. Where did the time go? Yeah. Now from my experiences looking forward, I think something, I think something happened that night, but I don't think it happened to me. My wife could never talk about that event without being completely terrified. And that was when she started drinking right after that. When she started doing drugs, he started cheating on me. Everything started happening after that event, almost like she got pulled into the whole spiritualism, demonic forces.
2:03:33 Everything really started to attack her and possess her at that time. There were sides of her I'd never seen before that sort of come out after that event. And it literally, you know, it led to the destruction of our marriage. Was she doing anything like speaking to psychics or doing Ouija, anything like that? Not leading up to that point, no. Okay. You know, I think I was the only one that had been involved with any of these appearances or these things that had happened through my life. Just so happened that my mom and my wife at the time were with me. Hmm. Um, and this wasn't the, the last one, but, you know, it was leading up to another major event that happened. And, you know, this event, we, we couldn't shake it. It was something we, you know, later on, here's the interesting thing. My mom couldn't remember it that night, but if you were to ask her the day, she can remember it like it was yesterday. Her memory came back on it later on. And she remembers it completely.
2:04:29 Now, after I got out of prison, and this was, I want to say it was 2007, uh, it's around 12 midnight. Uh, just got out of prison like a couple weeks earlier. And I was living with my grandmother. This was right after my, my, my dad passed away. And it was around midnight and I got woken up again, or I thought I was woken up, but I was paralyzed. I couldn't move. Like I'd mentioned before. Sleep paralysis. Right. I hadn't had this in quite a few years. It had stopped by the time I was like 19. And here I am 2006. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, um, I'm in my thirties now. It's the first time it happened since then. Uh, but it was many years since I saw this event with my mom and my first wife. And so I'd been in prison that whole time. You know, I got out of prison and here I am at my grandmother's house.
2:05:22 Um, and I felt like I couldn't move. And then I felt something that was really like I was paralyzed and something pushing up under my bed. I'm sleeping in another room. Now granted, in the same house, my dad had just passed away in three, four months earlier. I could hear my grandmother in her other room down the hallway saying she was trying to get help out, but it was really low. She was terrified. Um, and she was trying to say help, but it was almost like she was so scared. She couldn't get it out. I kept hearing her say, and I'm trying to get to my grandmother, but I can't move. And finally I'm able to shake myself off. So I'm not asleep because I'm hearing my grandmother, but I can't move. I'm paralyzed and I feel like there's something under the bed.
2:06:15 I'm able to, I'm able to jerk myself up and break whatever force is holding me down in the bed. I really felt like something's pushing up or something's pushing on my chest, keeping me down. I run down the hallway into my grandmother's bedroom. She's in bed and she's terrified and she's pointing like this and she's telling me something's under her bed. Her bed pushing up. Now I'm getting really kind of like terrified at that point. What's going on? And I drew enough strength to kind of kick at the bed frame, kick at the bottom of the bed. Nothing comes out. Um, you know, I'm thinking, you know, is there an animal underneath there or something, but you know, deep down inside, I know that's not it, but you know, you try to go through the steps and the motions. And then I, I get a little braver and I, you know, eventually I, I kind of, I look under the bed. There's nothing there. It's it. And about that time it's, it's gone. My grandmother's able to sit up. She tells me that there was something pushing up under her bed. She couldn't move. In other words, she had a similar experience that I had.
2:07:17 Yeah. And she thought it was my dead dad had come back. Of course I had already started to realize at that point, I hadn't come to the full events of space, but my first time in prison, I started to learn about the state of the dead. And I started learning that, um, it seems like death is a sleep, you know, that, that, that, that, you know, the Bible mentions over 50 times sleep. And I know we're going to do another program and talk about that a little bit about stay the dead. But I knew that wasn't my dad, that there was something very demonic about that. Um, and you know, once again, these, these demonic forces, I felt like they were trying to get me back in the world that I come out of. Like they didn't want to leave their grip on me. They wanted to hold me and control me in there. And it wasn't long after that, that, that I told you I started the job with the, with the limousine company.
2:08:11 And I started getting back, you know, around some of my old crew and I'm at the party where I eventually got raided and ended up getting the 35 aggravated years and going back to prison. So this was right before that, you know, not, but a few months before I got rearrested. But right after that event is when I started, you know, smoking cigarettes again, smoking a little marijuana, doing some things like that. And, um, he, he just kind of went downhill from that point, ended up back in prison. But after I got released from prison, I didn't have the second time. And I came into the Adventist church. I didn't have any situation. I got released December tech at 2011, and it wouldn't be until December 6th of 2015 that I had my next and last encounter. Now at this point, cell phones are everywhere. So, um, you know, a lot of people, uh, you know, back on, a lot of these events happened with me. I didn't have any type of phone or recording device, but this time, you know, everybody's got phones. It's, it's 2015.
2:09:13 So, you know, the resolution is not real great. Um, but I'm at a apartment complex living with my mom. It's when I got out of prison and we did get reunited. God brought my mom back into my life at the 37 years, reconnected that she became a seven day Adventist started going to West Houston. She moved from California. We got a place in Houston together. I started, you know, reconnecting with, with my three other siblings through my mom and me and her were there at the apartments. I'm 44 years old at the time. We had just gotten back from someplace and I left something in the car and I went out to go get it and I went out to go get it. I happened to look up at the sky and I noticed what looked like a round ball fire, but it wasn't burning. The flames weren't glowing up. It, it's just a ball, but it's, it's got like an intensity, like, like flames, but it's not being consumed and it's just floating across the sky.
2:10:14 And I thought, wow, I watched an amazement. This thing's floating across the sky. And then all of a sudden I look and I see another one right behind it. About that time. Um, the security guard worked for the apartment complex. He's there. And he says, I said, man, come look at this. Are you seeing this? I said, he's like, I've never seen anything like that. What is that? And we start watching it. Um, there's one or two other people that just pulled in into the apartments and they start looking up at it now. So I said, look, I need to grab my camera. I need my phone or something. So I go back inside. I tell my mom, my mom comes outside. I grabbed my phone and I'm like, and I think I was like, I got some binoculars in my, in my, uh, in my car. So I'm going to get them.
2:11:03 So I go out there and the dad, they're in the glove compartment. So I grabbed them and we start looking at it and I start filming this. And this is the video footage that I gave you. And I start filming these orbs. I don't know what it is, but I've got a, I got a, uh, in my car. I've got a set of binoculars here. Keep filming. I'm going to look, keep filming. It's right. Wow. I don't know what it was. I'm looking at it now. I can't tell. You can. I don't know, man. Uh, I've never seen one thing, anything like that. I really don't know.
2:12:09 I don't know some of it. Yeah. I took some, but that being on the record on it, why look in my, my, uh, I'm going to get binoculars and see if I can see what it is. Now it's some type of ball, but what is the purpose of it? I've never seen one of those. I don't know. It came from the exact same place. Yeah. But the thing is, uh, is floating. Making no noise. I'm looking at it. It's a round orb. It doesn't appear to have any type of craft around it. Just the light, just a glow.
2:13:09 And it came from the exact same spot. Now that is weird. That's weird, right? Never seen one of those. But it, that is weird. I have no idea what it is. That's weird, isn't it? Uh, just telling you, I don't know a balloon. I know you see a balloon and you recognize it's a balloon, but that looks like something on fire. That's what we thought, but it's not making, there is, there's fire inside. There is fire. You can see, but I zoomed in with the binoculars. We've seen four of them already. We don't know what it is. I've used my binoculars and I couldn't see any type of craft around it. Just a ball of, uh, like a ball of light.
2:14:04 It looks like fire now. Look, it looks like it's encased in an orb. It looks just like a, like a, like a orb of fire. Yeah, it looks like it's on fire, doesn't it? But it's not. I looked at my binoculars. You can't, you can't see a craft or nothing. So you, there'll be another one here in a few minutes. We've seen several of them. It looks purple through there. I'm looking at it in the binoculars right now. Oh my goodness. It's a little ship, a little ship. That is weird. It looks almost like a, it's got a ball of light. It looks almost like a manta ray surrounded by a glow.
2:15:06 Well, I've lost it on here and right at it. I've lost it. That is freaky looking. I don't know where it went. There it is. We've never seen one of those. Is this a balloon? I don't, I don't think it's a balloon. It looks like, it looks like a manta ray inside a glowing sphere. Oh wow. You can, you can, you can see. Is it a man inside? No, no, no. It's a manta ray, it's like a fish. And I looked at them through the binoculars and I could see almost like, a ball of glowing energy.
2:16:02 And it almost like it had a, I won't say a frame, but almost like it had a structure around the ball, but yet not really. It's hard to describe. It was, but the fire, I could see it was bright. It was almost like a fire, but it wasn't a fire. It wasn't consuming. It looked very similar to the orb that I saw in the ravine when I was with John years and years earlier. Huh. And, and I start taking pictures of it. I start recording video. I got quite a few minutes of it. We ended up seeing, and they floated across the sky without making a noise. Eventually more and more people, a couple of people were out there, went inside, got other people to come out. There's probably a total of at least a dozen people outside and excluding the security guard. And we're seeing these orbs go across the sky one after the other. And we counted a total of, um, I want to say it was like, like seven or eight.
2:16:56 I counted. And, uh, and I filmed a lot of this so much so that, and I knew at that point I'd come to the event of space. I've come to the truth. I'm like, these things are demons. Yeah. And, um, and I was like, they're, they're like just showing themselves to me again. And I'm like, but I'm not having any of it. I'm like, in the name of Jesus, you know, I want you out of my life and you'd be gone. I don't want to see all ever again. And, and you know, I'm sitting there speaking the name of Jesus over these demonic forces. You can't have me back in that world. There's nothing you can do to fascinate me, to intrigue me, to make me go back or any of that. And it was, it was interesting because around this time I had several people reach out to me from my former life offered me, and they knew I was struggling.
2:17:49 When I got out of prison, I came out of prison with, with $50 in my pocket, prepaid cell phone and the clothes on my back. My first bed was a mattress. I pulled off, saw the dumpster wrapped in a bed sheet. I had nothing. I literally survived for two years out of prison on $6,000 a year. How do you even make it on that? God. I mean, there was times I needed money to pay utility bill and, and mom's walking the dog and my mom was on social security. So she didn't have anything either. We'd see $200 bills floating down and was just blown with no money, nobody around, no nothing. Or, you know, I need to pay my parole fees and I'm a hundred dollars behind. And there's a hundred dollar gift card. I had no, how it got in the mailbox, but it's there for me to use. You know, one time I'm telling these guys about Sabbath and I'm, I'm talking to him on the phone going, you've got to get this DVD by, by, uh, by Walter Vates.
2:18:41 You got to watch this or this DVD. I had about Sabbath to Sunday and I'd watched this DVD. I've been out of prison, like almost a year at that point. I'd watched it many times and I needed, it was a, it was around a hundred dollars that I needed for, for to pay another bill. And I was short. I opened up this DVD. I said, I'm going to give you the number. If you call, we'll send it to you free. And I'm talking to him on the phone. I'm always witnessing. And as I pull it out, something stuck on the bottom. I pull it and there's a little yellow posting note folded attached to five twenties that were folded up into a little bitty square in the bottom of this, this DVD case I'd never seen before. And the post-it note said, this is a love gift from Tom and Diana. I hope it helps. They were the ones that sent me a copy of the great controversy when I was in prison ministry. I mean, when I was in prison in their prison ministry, sent me a copy of the great controversy. And I was like, well, God was always revealing himself at that exact same moment.
2:19:41 So I was struggling financially, but I wasn't going back to that old world. I tried to get a job, many, many jobs. Nobody wanted to hire me because I was either, I either had two overqualified or my felony convictions. I mean, didn't have any work history, so to speak. You know, I, I even tried to get a job as a Chick-fil-A cow and they turned me down. I mean, anything I could do. Um, and nobody wanted to hire me. Eventually I, I started a health company and started selling health products everywhere, which also brought me into the health message. Um, but these people contact me and one guy in particular contacted me and said, I know you need money. I know you're struggling. You've just been out a year. You know, you know, I hear you ain't got nothing. You know, I said, I don't need anything, but Jesus, he said, Harold, go down to the Jaguar dealership. You want a new Jaguar? I know you like Cadillacs, but Jaguar's cool. They got some really cool ones. Go down there and pick you out a car. Go down here.
2:20:32 You want a Mercedes Benz? Go pick it out. He's like, just come and work for me. I'll start you out cash. $225,000 plus bonuses. He said, I want you to come in and run. He said, I've got these, these, these pill centers. They're pain management clinics. It's legit. He's like, I got doctors working for me all over. All you got to do is come and managing it for me. I got the doctors. They're real. People come in, they have back pains. We give them Oxycontins. We give them, you know, hydrocodones. And he's like, we're making, we're making so much cash. He said, we're filling up trash bags a day. Cash and carry. We do nothing but cash. I said, it sounds illegal to me. I want nothing to do with it. Turn them down. Within a year, he was on the news. He was in Las Vegas traveling and got hit by the FBI and got sentenced for running on illegal narcotics operations in his pain management clinics.
2:21:28 And he went to prison. He would later die. He just died last year of prostate cancer. Oh, my. He made $2.4 million his first year out of prison. But I didn't want nothing to do with it. Yeah. You know, I was walking, serving the Lord now. And these entities were not going to bring me back into that world. It's amazing because that's my last experience with him. I have had no experiences since. Praise God. I've talked a lot about, my involvement with drugs, organized crime. But I really want your audience to understand that drugs is sorcery. And, you know, you think, how can, you know, doing drugs, selling drugs, manufacturing drugs be sorcery? Well, it's, if you think about it, it's often linked to spiritual entities manipulating the physical world through substances. I'll give you some examples.
2:22:21 I mean, if we look at just the Greek word for sorcery, it's kinesh. And it comes from another word, which is pharmakia, which is where we'll get pharmaceutical. And it actually implies the use of, say, magic potions or drugs and magical purposes. And this is very important because it implies the use of drugs or potions to manipulate or deceive people. So the Bible tells us, and it's very clear, I've got it here in Deuteronomy 18, 10 and 12. It says, let no one be found among you who sacrifice their sons or daughters in the fire, who practices the veneration or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft or cast spells, or who is a medium or spiritualist or consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable.
2:23:11 So God literally puts sorcery or mixing of potions and spells, which, you know, first time I was arrested and went to prison, it was for manufacturing controlled substances. I mean, we were literally taking manmade, substances, mixing them with natural herbs and coming up with a drug, which altered your mental state. And when you alter your mental state, you're opening up a means or let's say a portal for the enemy to come in and have an opportunity to communicate with you, possess you. An example that would be found in Ephesians 6, 11, which says, put on the whole armor of God that you may be, be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. And the word wiles, there's an interesting word in the Greek. It literally means cunning arts, deceit, craft or trickery. So when we do these things, we engage in not just drugs. You think of the music, especially today, Satan is alive and well in the music.
2:24:15 I remember when I first got out of prison, my sister picked me up and she was listening to Rihanna and she didn't think nothing about it, but I asked her to turn it off. And she was like, why? You don't know who Rihanna is? I'd been incarcerated for a very long time and listened to secular music. Only music I heard in prison was Christian music. And when people come in and do ministry services, we had church services. So I was, um, you only heard Christian music in prison when I was, yeah, I did not, you know, a lot of guys had radios and different things. I didn't in my, in my, my cubicle on my bunk. I never got a radio. So I didn't go and watch like the regular stuff on TV just when they had certain programs, I would go. So, I purposely alienated myself from a lot of the things everybody else was being involved in. And so the music, when I was at what was when we go down to a church service and, you know, that was my involvement with music.
2:25:08 Um, I did have a cell who had a radio. Sometimes I would borrow it. I would listen to Christian channels on that. He was pretty nice about letting me borrow it at times, but that was it. But when I got out and I heard that music, I told her to turn it off because I could hear Satan's voice in the music. And how did you, can you expand on that? Well, because the rhythm, the tempo, it reminded me of when I used to go sell drugs before we went, we would get ourself hyped up. You know, a lot of people, they would, they would get hyped up by maybe doing cocaine or doing methamphetamines or hyping up me. Uh, it was more about the music, the tempo. I listened to a lot of gangster rap. I listened to, um, a lot of music that was kind of, um, lifting up and glorifying the game or glorifying the thug life, the, the gangster. And, and that put me in a mode, put me in a, a kind of heightened my senses.
2:26:00 And I, I felt invincible, powerful, you know, Satan's uses that to work through us, to manipulate us. And so there's definitely, uh, a tempo, a rhythm, a beat and the lyrics alone. If you listen to a lot of the music and what it is lifting up, it's not lifting up. God is lifting up self. It's lifting up. Maybe it's, it's degrading women. It's, uh, lifting up the use of substances and drugs in your body, making money illegally, breaking the law. You know, that's what a lot of this music is about. And so when I hear things like that in the media or even, even in, in movies, you know, I was a huge, uh, Star Trek fan for many years. And then when they started bringing in the whole LGBTQ movement into Star Trek, I hadn't stopped watching that because they're promoting something that is against my Christian beliefs. And how can I support, how can I support that? God does God calls those things an abomination to him, a perversion of his creation.
2:26:59 You know, you got to remember Satan is an angel. He's asexually neither male or female. And one of the things he loves to do is counterfeit everything that God does. And he is literally trying to recreate man in his own image. I think that's part of the whole transgender movement and the LGBTQ, because Satan's in their male or female. And he would like people to, you know, change their genitalia and their gender and, and have a perversion and distortion. And so, you know, he's trying to create a man in his image. Well, not only that you have mostly it's, it's men. And I, I'm not making this about male versus female, but men go in and fight fires. They go in and save people. They go in and do things that, that mostly are not necessarily nurturing. They're more, more heroic. And if you didn't have that in society, if you kind of dumb that down and reduce that and, and made everybody the nurture, who would you have? That would actually be the, the one that would pursue truth.
2:27:50 Absolutely. Yeah, it is. There's an attack on the man being the head of the household protector, you know, who God has, has put in charge to protect the family and to carry his word forward. And like you said, to protect and save and nurture, you know, do those things in a, in a, in a manly, godly way. And so we've even seen that particularly in Hollywood in the last decade, there's been an attack on male masculinity where all the superheroes and all the action people are, are female. I'm not trying to attack women out there, but no, but men are being, you know, neutered in a sense to where their role as men is not only trying to be redefined, but almost discouraged or you're, you're doing something bad if you try to be a man, according to what God is, has deemed a man to be. And they're trying to make it to where, you know, it's very bad thing in society. But, you know, this is where society is going. I mean, we got to remember, Satan lost dominion of the world to Satan. Yeah. And when it all boils down to it, if you look at the world and the best of everything that it has money, power, fame, Hollywood, wealth, this is stuff the devil gives people.
2:29:02 This is his idea of heaven on earth or his version of, of what, what he thinks the world should be like. And so when I see governments out there, particularly now talk about legalization of drugs, particularly with marijuana, it's, it's very big. Now, it was my job to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, sense, but he doesn't get you high. The people who are out here pushing for the promotion of marijuana, in my opinion, are doing it because they want to get high. Majority of them. Now, you know, for medical use, there is the option, but they don't really want CBD. They want the THC. And that is what, you know, what I did every single day. And regardless of what people want to say, it manipulates. It does change. You're not the same person. It does alter your state of mind. And regardless, I cannot see Jesus getting high. Not only that, I think what's fascinating about the whole drug, pharmakia thing, is that when you put substances into your mind, into your body, it affects your mind so much that it might even affect your choices and the ability to shut down something that wants to enter into your body. I'm talking about spirits. Yes. Like if you can't say, no, I don't want that thing, or no, I don't want you to control me. I'm talking about spirits. I'm talking about spirits. I'm talking about spirits. I'm talking about spirits. I'm talking about possession. Then you, you have a completely open vessel that is available for, for Satan to control. And I've seen, I've seen people that have been possessed and possession is not flopping around the ground, rolling your eyes back in your head. It can be, but it's a bunch more mundane than that. And I think that people open themselves up if they allow themselves to be overtaken by drugs. Well, you know, I've seen the worst of the worst in people, drug addicts, effectively meth addicts, people strung out on heroin, cocaine. It's really sad that, you know, they'll go to such extremes just to chase the next high. And as you know, as somebody who was selling drugs and participating in, in ultimately destroying lives, which was horrible. And I realized that now, and it became a point in my life, I'm like, I can't keep doing these things.
2:31:39 I'm destroying people's lives, even though I justified it for many years, because I had certain lines I wouldn't cross. And I'm like, well, I'm not cutting the drugs. I'm not cutting drugs. That could be worse. That could be getting stuff. That's going to kill them on the streets. Always try to justify what I was doing. But you know, when you're making drugs, you're, you're doing that, that science and you're, you're putting these things together. There's sorcery. There is, there is a form of magic in that. And then you're taking those substances and you're giving it to others or putting it in your own body. And like you said, you are changing and altering your state of mind. Now you're allowing these demonic forces to come in and now start to be involved in your life, which I had all through the period that I was involved in selling drugs. And my father was involved in illegal organized crime. There was always a, there was always a, uh, some, somebody, something around us that was involved with your spiritualism, the occult. Um, I'll give you an example. You know, my dad would often talk about, um, there was, he would call it, um, white magic and black magic. He would say, you know, you know, we deal in white magic because it's good. And I was always like, oh, I don't think any magic's good. And my father would try to justify that and say, you know, there was forces out there in the world, but you know, white magic is more powerful than black magic and we're going to overcome. And this is kind of how he justified it. And I remember he had this, uh, girlfriend, her name was Katie. Like she was, I was probably about 13, 14 years old at that time. So, I mean, this was before I really started, before I got introduced to marijuana and started selling drugs, but I'm still very much knowledgeable.
2:33:17 What my dad, I'm starting to get to the point where I kind of understand what my dad's doing, at least in the clubs. I'm very aware of that. Uh, Gino had just gotten involved in our life and my father met him. And, you know, this is still a few years before he committed the murders. Uh, but Katie, uh, got around my father, me, he started dating her and she claimed to have a spirit guide, which she called Amos. And she said he was an angel, fallen angel, I'm sure. But, you know, at the time, um, and she had two sons. And she started getting really close. My, one of my sisters, uh, which was living in Fort Worth at the time, it just got old enough to drive. And so she started coming and visiting me and we were always really close. It was Brenda, my middle-aged sister on my mom's side. And she started coming over and visiting and Katie, uh, started introducing her to what you would call channeling and astral projection. And they would get, and I actually walked in on them one time, they were in a room, they were all sitting in a circle. And they were all sitting in a room and they were all sitting in a circle. And they had their legs crossed and they were basically trying to go into a trance. Um, and they were, what you would experience is astral projection. And I, I didn't really, I'm still, I'm 13, 14 years old. So then Katie and my sister was like, oh no, you need to try this. And they started trying that, you know, she tried to start teaching me how to do these things. And I did try astral projection. So I started getting into that phase of like, okay, this is something that's, it seemed like kind of cool. I'm tapping into some secret power.
2:34:52 I'm, I'm feeling my, my spirit, leave my body. At least you think that's what's going on. You almost like hovering and you'll get yourself in a trance. You get really relaxed state. There's normally some type of Eastern music involved. There's incense. There's, you know, there's, uh, uh, you're supposed to be stimulating what they call the chakra zones in the body, certain points, the soul, uh, uh, points that you have in your body. They're supposed to enable, um, power within the human spirit to become like a God. And she was very involved in this. And then she claimed that she could speak to Amos. And this is where I started witnessing channeling to where she was having this Amos spirit guide come and speak through her. And this is where it was right about this time that things really started to change because my father still had quite a few clubs. He was, he was very well off and it wasn't within maybe 18 months, a year, 18 months after meeting Katie that, you know, he had the whole falling out with his business partner, business partner got murdered. Then my dad lost his, you know, pretty much his entire fortune overnight. And then he, you know, it wasn't a couple of years later, Gino goes and commits the murders, but it seems like up to that point, um, my father had slowly getting more and more exposed, but this was major exposure. And he was literally, he had told me stories later that when he was young, his first wife, who I didn't know at the time, was also involved in tarot card reading and was sharing readings with my father about his future life and his, what would happen. And she told him and warned him about a redheaded woman. Later, he thought that that was Katie because Katie was a redhead woman who started introducing our family to spiritualism and channeling. But these were all deception.
2:36:47 I mean, obviously she was being used as an instrument of, of the enemy. Um, and so I, I started to pull back from the whole astral projection and channeling, but it wasn't long after I went to university of Texas, when I got involved in LSD and, and mescaline and those drugs, I wasn't, I wasn't doing astral projection, but when you're dealing with psychedelics, it's very similar. Yeah. You're still changing your state of mind. You're altered, uh, perception and you're opening a way for the enemy to come in and communicate with you. You know, and as I mentioned, you know, a lot of the, a lot of these supernatural encounters that I had, um, throughout my life, I really think that the times I was involved around spiritualism, the occult, um, Katie and what she was doing, uh, it was always heightened. So when I was young or when I was older, I was always, I was always, I was always, I was always, I was always, I was always, as I was coming to the vintage church, the, the, the encounters I had were not, um, they were mild compared to the ones that I had while I was really close to those practices. And I think that that's not a coincidence. You know, I think that as we participate in more, whether it's through drugs, whether it's through, um, spiritualism, trying to communicate with the dead, seeking some type of other power. Um, we're opening up opportunities for the enemy to come in and seize control. It's almost like we're, we're giving him authority, uh, to do that, you know, but we have authority over Satan. Mark 3, 15 says that we have authority to drive out demons. And so once I learned that truth later on in my life is when, uh, you know, that last time when I saw the orbs over Houston and I was a seven day event is, and I sit there and told my mom, I said, these things are demonic. They're right now. And I'm going to cast them out, out of our lives. And I have never, ever seen them have any encounters. I mean, obviously, you know, they're, they're starting to manifest themselves on the local news because a lot of people are talking about it, but I have not had any, any direct impacts. I think they know now that, that they, they can't get me back in their world anymore. I'm done with it. Ask him to replace these desires with something else and fill it with something that's holy and righteous and that's gonna save you. And I truly believe that if you're following Jesus, and ask him to give you the ability to fall in love with the law. Since I came to the faith and started serving the Lord, I have not been approached by any of these entities, demons. And I wanna get into more of this on your next program as we talk about the state of the dead and even the recent release of the UFO files. Because I think there's a lot of people out here that are setting themselves up to be deceived because they don't understand what these beings are and what their intentions are. And I know firsthand being in this world and I can tell you that my life has been radically transformed by the truth of the gospel. I'm blessed now, not just with ministry, but with a great ministry team at Making Light Changes and my wife. My wife is such a blessing to me.

And if somebody watching your program right now, they may not be in our same faith as Seventh-day Adventists, but they're a Christian. Maybe they're not a Christian, but my story's real. And I know that God delivered me and saved me and brought me through so much. And he does that. He did it for a purpose and a reason. He can do the same for you. Whether you're stuck in the bonds of pornography or stuck in the bonds of alcoholism or drug addiction or hatred or anger or jealousy, gluttony, any of these things, even the media that we're consuming, the music. I just want you to know that Jesus Christ can set you free. Amen. And it's not about the emotional feeling, but it's about understanding and learning who Christ is, what he did for us. And that, you know, people always say salvation is free. I don't agree with that because Jesus paid an ultimate price of his giving his own life, that through his death, if we'd only believe and accept, we have an opportunity to live.
2:44:29 Yeah. Christ doesn't want us to die. He wants us to learn the truth, come to him. And, you know, he says that if we just, whatever our burdens, whatever our problems are, that if we just come to him, he will give us rest. His burden is light, his yoke is easy. And, you know, and his requirements, they're easy. The Ten Commandments. And we don't keep the law because it saves us. But if you're truly saved and Jesus is who you're following, he should be keeping the law. See, I don't have a desire to smoke marijuana, sell drugs, hustle. And it wasn't because, because I tried before. I tried to quit smoking cigarettes, Bradley. And then a few months later, I'd be back smoking it. But when I got into the faith and I learned the truth and I got that second time, I asked Christ to remove these desires from me, remove them and replace them with something that's godly, something that's true. And I said, I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do something that's righteous.
2:45:16 I don't even want the desire. See, too many people, they don't line their prayers up right. They say, oh, I want to stop smoking. I want to stop cussing, whatever it is. You know, stop watching these, this filth that I'm watching on social media. And, you know, and they'll say, okay, God, make me stop doing that. What they really need to pray is, is God remove the desire that I have for me to want to do these things. So it's the things that I used to love, I now hate. And the things that I used to hate, I now love. And that's how you overcome. And sure, in your testimony, we overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. And so it's very important. So if Christ done something for you, please share it with somebody. Amen. Absolute. I think that's an excellent place to stop. Can you have a prayer for us before we go? Absolutely. Dear and most gracious heavenly father, Lord, you've been so merciful with me and so many others.
