Although I have said, I'll give you this, I put a thing out in the community tab where you could vote on what night you wanted Strange Normal to occur on. This was the popular night. I'm still trying to figure out if I can even do that because we've got so much going on on the weekends usually. What if I have to do something outside? So hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen. If this is the night you want it to happen on, it will someday. And we will do that more and more often. Right now, we are doing it on Thursday nights. But tonight, tonight's a special night because we have some interesting stuff. There's a whole bunch of stuff happening right now and I just can't keep up with it because, well, Satan's got me distracted by this YouTube thing that's going on with Nexstar Media.
3:03 I keep calling it Nexstar. That's the name of my dash cam I use in my car. But Nexstar, Nexstar Media is a media group, is a conglomerate that owns the CW Network and all that other stuff. And they have decided they do funny things with my videos right now even though I have perfect legal rights to do what I'm doing. And I'll explain that further. But tonight, what we're going to get into, what you're really going to be interested in is at the end of this program, we're going to do a comparison. Daily Wire, who is a popular conservative broadcasting thing out of Nashville with Ben Shapiro, they're quite torn about this whole alien thing. It's quite interesting. So much so that one of their staff members, namely Matt Walsh, is completely flabbergasted and excited about this whole thing while Ben Shapiro, his boss, is not.
4:06 He's very disappointed in how it's being handled. And they decided to do a video about it, a short video. And so we're going to show you bits and pieces of that tonight. But I thought it would be interesting to kind of go over that because this is one of the tactics. This is a major tactic that's happening. We're going to talk about this in the show, but I just want to show you right now. One of the major tactics is Satan uses teams, competitive teams, and says, hey, pick a side. And both sides are wrong. You watch. That happens every time. It's textbook case. He loves that tactic. And so be very careful if you're presented with two sides to some argument. It's probably not the correct one. That's what I found usually. At least the popular ones. It's the not so popular argument that's usually the one that's righteous.

I want to talk about a little bit before we get into the Daily Wire's alien fight here, which is going to be fun, and I can't make this a long show because I'm going to be out with my wife here pretty soon.
8:31 We're going to have a little date night. But I do want to get to and tell you an update on what's going on here. So who is Nexar? Nexstar, Nexstar, not my dash cam, Nexstar. Nexstar is the group that came in and they decided they were going to claim and block three of the videos, our last live videos that we did about this major Pentagon revelation. They said, that's our content. You can't use it. And they blocked it. Some of you are going to say, well, that makes sense. You can't use someone else's content. But here in the USA, we have something called fair use. But before we get into that explanation, I want to tell you a little bit about who this Nexstar group is. So let's cut over there and watch this just so you know who they are. Just over a year ago, the local television station operator, formerly known as Nexstar Broadcasting Group, announced a game changing deal.
9:34 They told us they were buying Media General for four point six billion dollars in order to become the country's second largest broadcaster. This is a very complicated transaction. But last month, the company finally got the approval from the FCC, closed the deal, changing its name to Nexstar Media Group. Thanks to this transaction, they're the second largest local affiliate for networks like NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox. Now, initially, this acquisition wasn't well received, but over time, it's gained a lot of adherence and Nexstar stock has only rallied nearly 50 percent over the last 12 months, hit a new high today. So that's great. I don't care about their finances, but this is back in 2016, no, 2018. Right. So that's that's who Nexstar is. They're one of the biggest conglomerates, which is fascinating to me, because when you go to that who owns the media graphic, if you've ever been to that is like three or four main people, they're not really mentioned in there. And it was difficult for me to find a lot of information on Nexstar, which is fascinating.
10:29 Who wants to be a star star up there in the sky? Nexstar, the next star. Hmm. Who was the stars that fell from heaven? Interesting. Um, let's let's. Dig into this a bit further. I'm going to go to so so that's that's Nexstar. Nexstar is the people that got they got my videos taken down. So why why did they get them taken down? I want to tell you the full story here before we get into the Daily Wire stuff. They got them taken down because they said that it was a portion of their stuff was used and incorrectly. Now, what we do here is we look at what's going on and we analyze it and we criticize it and we research it and we discuss it. That is called fair use. And let me tell you exactly what YouTube has to say about fair use.
11:23 This is fascinating to me. Here we go. Hi, I'm Sari here to answer your copyright questions. Today's topic is fair use. First, what is fair use? Fair use allows you to reuse copyright protected material under certain circumstances without getting permission from the copyright owner. Fair use is an exception to copyright law and is not determined by YouTube. What counts is fair use? Courts usually focus on whether your use of another person's song or video is transformative. Basically, they're asking if you added new expression or meaning to the original work or if it basically copies the original. For example, in the U.S., content that might be considered fair use includes commentary, criticism or news reporting. Boom. Commentary, criticism, news reporting. Did we add value, add content, add a new outlook on what this is? Absolutely.
12:19 And so this is considered fair use. We can fairly use portions. Now, it doesn't specify how much, but we can use portions of someone else's broadcast to talk about it, to criticize it, to add a different value to it, which is the value we're adding is the religious value we have and understanding what this is from the Bible. And so it's very important to understand that. So when you get a copyright claim that blocks your video, well, the first thing I'm going to go to is YouTube and say, what in the world is going on here? Because you guys are allowing them to do this. Furthermore, let's just look at copyright law real quick, just so I can be 100% sure I'm doing things right. This is from YouTube's own page. No, this is from the law. This is from copyright.gov. And you can see right here that I have a lot of portions of my face is in the frame here. Let me see if I can fix that.
13:21 So notwithstanding the provisions of Section 106 and 106A, the fair use of the copyright work, including such use by reproductions in copies or phono cards or by any other means specified by that section for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, including multiple copies of classroom use, scholarship, or research, is not allowed. This is an infringement on copyright. Again, what we're doing right here. And this might be boring for some of you, but from YouTube's or Google's own page, they talk about copyright. Look at this. In the United States, works of commentary, criticism, research, teaching, or news reporting may be considered fair use. So what I think is fascinating here, and I'm going to bring it back to me, is that not only did they come in here and completely block my stuff, usually if there's a news organization, they just want the monetary ad revenue from it, and I give it to them. I mean, it's pennies on the dollar anyway.
14:23 And so they come in and take that, but they literally blocked three of them. And then not only did they do that, but there's two ways around it. You can say, hey, I want to cut those things out that you don't like me to talk about, or I can delete the video. Those are kind of the, or I can send in a YouTube request, or send a message to you saying, hey, I don't think you did this right. A dispute, that's called. Well, when I went to try to cut this stuff out, they wanted me to not just cut a portion of it out, just the portion that there was their clip, they wanted me to cut out an hour out of the three and a half hour video. And they did that for all of them. So YouTube said, YouTube told me, and I talked to them for a while tonight, I said, this is a problem because I think they're abusing this. They can't take out my opinion, and their content. And they said, absolutely right. This is correct.
15:19 We're looking into this. We've escalated it. And they've been very helpful because they said they can't abuse the system. Nexstar. Nexstar is abusing the system by taking this stuff and saying, I can't have my own opinion. And we know they have a problem with my opinion, my truth, not my truth, but the truth about this from the biblical aspect, because probably, it's not the wisest decision on my part, but I've seen it. Everyone else uploading the whole 40 minutes onto their channel. And you know what? They don't care about uploading it as long. It's all their narrative. They didn't even touch that video. They only touched the live streams. We've done about it that we molded into the lens of the Bible. Only they took those videos down. They don't care about me reproducing their content and putting it out on the web in full form. It's so weird. I mean, if it was Hollywood and I uploaded an entire movie to YouTube, that would be a no-no. That's copyright infringement.
16:22 But they don't care about that. They care about someone else's opinion through biblical eyes. So I think that's really interesting that they care about the narrative so much that they are willing to take on my opinion and they're willing to not only demonetize my videos, but block them altogether. So I disputed it and contacted YouTube about it and they are on it. And I think we're going to just come out this golden. But there is a chance. I'm just telling you guys right now. There is a chance that they'll come back and they'll say, we don't agree with your dispute. We're going to challenge it. And then I'm going to have to take it to YouTube and appeal it to YouTube. And if the powers that be decide they don't like whatever, they could take one strike, two strike, and three strikes since they took three videos.
17:20 And three strikes, you're out. Your video, your whole channel is gone. And I'm just telling you that right now. The whole channel could be gone. I have to restart from scratch, which I would do. But it's kind of frustrating and a little bit heart wrenching because you think you've molded this for at least two years, thought about it for at least 10 years. And now... Something as small as a media conglomerate can just come in there and say, I don't like how you're using your stuff. We would definitely challenge this and I would do everything I can to get the channel back. But it's all the more important to go to my website. Go to strangenormal.org. So I took this from Ben Shapiro's YouTube channel. It's fascinating stuff that they have two different opinions on. See if you can see the dangers in the red flags. Get your red flags ready. See if you can see the dangers in these two different opinions. Check this out. Well, Matt Walsh is a very controversial person for a number of reasons. But there's one arena where I really disagree with Matt Walsh. And that is dude really thinks that like the aliens are here. So Matt, meanwhile, you know, all of this is big story. Obviously, all of it matters a lot. But it's dwarfed by the news that there is a whistleblower named David Charles Grush, a decorated Air Force veteran who told News Nation that the American government has retrieved non-human origin technical vehicles called spacecraft.
20:11 If you will, non-human exotic origin vehicles that have either landed or crashed. And he has also claimed, apparently, that there are exotic materials here, including different morphologies. Like we actually have aliens, I guess, with the spaceships. So obviously, you're very happy about this because you've been a big advocate for the idea that the aliens are among us for a long time. The one problem I have with the story is that I think it's complete crap. This particular fellow does not say he has personally seen alien vehicles. He hasn't seen anything. So apparently, a middle manager at one of these organizations now saying that he has seen aliens is enough to set the entire world ablaze. What is your take? I know that you're very excited about this. Well, I am very excited about it. But, you know, I have to disagree. I just agree with you completely on every aspect of this story, including that it's setting the world ablaze. It should set the world ablaze, but it isn't. Like people don't care. And I think that, you know, UFOs could actually literally land on Earth in front of everybody and it's all on tape.
21:08 And people still, it would trend on Twitter for about five years. Five and a half minutes and then everyone would move on. So I find that very depressing, which also to me just makes it more credible. Because one of the things you hear from especially people on the right is that, well, these stories are all distraction by the government. And, well, I think that's wrong for a number of reasons, beginning with the fact that it's not a distraction. It's like it doesn't succeed as a distraction. So you're still left with if this is all bogus, then why would someone make this up? I mean, this whistleblower, we know it has been confirmed that he had access to high level classified information. That part is 100% confirmed. We know at least what his credentials are, what his resume is. And he worked in the, you know, he was in the intelligence agency, worked with these kinds of these aerial phenomena, investigating them. He comes out and says, look, this is what I've been told. Why would, what would be his incentive to make this up?
22:00 He's setting his own career on fire. He's not setting the world ablaze, but he is setting his career ablaze and his life potentially. Why would he do that if it's entirely made up? But the other thing, Ben, you have to remember is that this is just, there's not one story. Because you know his name now and you've never heard of him before? Okay, what good does that do? So he'll write one book, maybe. I'm not even sure if it'd be a bestseller. And then that's it. Matt, wait, hold up, hold up. You're saying people don't do things to be famous and to get on TV and to be notorious? I feel like this runs counter to much of your view of the world. Your cynicism seems to have disappeared here, Matt, and I'm disturbed. We'll get to that in just a moment. First, we say a lot of controversial things on the show. Advertisers shy away from that. Pure Talk does not. All right, let's pause right there, because he's going to go into his advertisement here. And we don't need to advertise his advertisement.
22:50 So what have they said so far? This is interesting, because Matt Walsh is employed, if I understand this right, by Ben Shapiro. And they're both Christian commentators, and they're both taking two different sides on this. Ben is saying that, all right, we are, aliens aren't here, and this guy's making this stuff. And Matt Walsh is saying, no, aliens are here, and we need to understand this from a Christian perspective. Matt Walsh is either Catholic, I forget, and Ben Shapiro is Jewish, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, chat, but I believe that's the case. So interestingly, they're taking two different sides to this, but neither one is realizing that this is a huge deception that's going on. And I wish I had that Morneau queued up. Because I know this comes out into their content ID eventually.

Like where does he go from there? He's given up his entire career, what does he do next? But it's just this one story is in the broader context. We've got videos from Navy pilots of anomalous objects in the sky.
24:36 We've got many, many different reports. We've got many things that are now on video because everyone has smartphones now. And so we can actually see these objects in the sky. We've got radar, we've got all these things. And we do have people in the intelligence community coming out and confirming that these things have been seen. And sometimes these crafts have been obtained after they've crashed. So there's a lot of evidence that something is going on. And I think if you're going to take the position that's definitely not aliens, then that to me is a lie. That to me seems irrational. You at least have to be open to the possibility. Like there has to be some explanation for this phenomena. And that is one of the potential explanations. What is that? It is a potential explanation, but the probability is extremely low. Mainly because, again, here's my question.
25:26 These creatures apparently flew millions of light years to get to planet Earth where they proceeded to crash their extraordinarily high-tech space craft. Into like a swamp and die. And this seems like wild incompetence. Are these aliens just like extremely good at making their vehicles, but very, very bad at driving them? Are they female aliens? Like how do we, what's happening here? Well, I would be careful before I start calling them incompetent. Okay, they can be listening to us right now. I mean, I'm not, and only a few of them have crashed. We see many of them where they're flying around the sky and then they leave. So it just makes sense. We've been visited a bunch of times by beings from other solar systems. Every once in a while, a few of them crash. They're not perfect, like cut them some slack. They're not going to have a batting average of a thousand on this. So every once in a while they crash.
26:14 That makes sense to me. Okay, well, Matt, we'll see if what you say comes true. Honestly, I feel like you're taking Pascal's wager here because if it turns out that the aliens are in fact here and they are in fact real, then it's all upside for you in having essentially prepaid obeisance to them. Whereas for me, I'm taking a risky position. I'm saying that they're not real and I don't care about them. And so if they find out about it, then as per our usual arrangement, I'll be headed to a dire place. So that's exciting stuff, Matt. Matt Walsh is 100% convinced and looked like he was prepared to even jump out of the camera there. He was so excited about talking to Matt Walsh about this. He's obviously been looking over this for quite a while and it's going to be a big voice in this. Um, as things progress and we as we know, they will I imagine this will be a surprise to Ben Shapiro. He'll jump on that bandwagon to as the office ensues and arguments over this stuff. Well, I've heard I've heard the staff mentioned in videos that not everyone agrees on everything. And I'm sure what happened here is they were in a meeting and they were disagreeing and they're like, okay, okay, okay, we should do a video on this because that's what usually happens.
28:05 We should do a video on this. It's it's so controversial. Let's talk about it. But didn't look like it was going to go very much further from that. So Ben says that the the aliens are are not here and people which he's right about that. They're there. I mean, he's not right about that. He are they are demonic forces are here and that's what we're seeing right now. These he says they're wild incompetence is is extraordinary, which is right about that because why would something that's light years ahead of us, light decades? I don't know what what to call it be so incompetent and Walsh says, well, they're they're 100% confirmed hundred percent confirmed that that this guy is who he says he is telling the truth. When is the government not lie to us? I think that that we need to take that into consideration.

I'm not convinced that it's going to be this guy's going to take. It's down that route, but it could be so let's just keep watching this story. That's what this channel is all about a strange normal research group. It's going to be amazing wild ride and I hope you guys can join us. One guy said in the chat here. He said at Mount Walsh's next book is what is an alien? It's kind of a joke on what Mount Walsh does because if you have seen his latest movie called what is a woman? He goes down and tries to ask a lot of the a lot of people who can't define what a woman is. In different places around the world and and they can't they can't do it because it's so bizarre. So if you haven't seen that movie, it's pretty good.
29:47 It is pretty good. But for his ideas about aliens here. I am shocked. He's taken this idea and running with it saying that there's aliens here. How does he even fit into the narrative? Well, I guess if he's Catholic then the Pope would baptize an alien. I guess this fits into their narrative and They'll lead the the crusade to to make sure that everyone is called a racist if the or a planetist or whatever a universal bad guy if they are if you don't accept the aliens. Is that a race? I don't even know what you call that but hold on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, it's going to be a wild ride. It is 1119 here in the foothills of Chattanooga foothills.
