0:00 I don't think people realize that there is a major battle happening right now in our lifetime for the next generation, if time lasts. And right now, I'm not talking philosophically. I'm talking literally. The actual aggression around the globe right now is not due to oil or money because the trillions of dollars poured into AI race right now will become a defining arms race of our lifetime. It will be the operating system of your life, a super intelligence that knows you and everyone in the world personally and literally. An intelligence the size of Manhattan or parts of Texas, depending on who wins this race to make general intelligence, that your government, by the way, is interested in using right now to keep track of you and hopefully predict your future. This isn't a conspiracy. This is what the mainstream media is saying right now. But how does this fit into Bible prophecy? Where can we see this in the Bible? It's not what you think. You only know a small part of it. This presentation will be half history and half Bible prophecy. Instead of making you guess about where I'm going with this, I'm going to tell you right now so that if you want to quit paying attention, or in case you already do, you can. And for those who want to stay awake, you can follow along as I prove it to you. So number one, the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning Israel's destruction in Asia. And number two, the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning Israel's destruction in Asia. And number three, the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning Israel's destruction in Asia.
1:27 was and is a dual prophecy. It's split into two. And currently in our remaining time here on earth, we are in that second half of the second fulfillment of that prophecy. Number two, the second fulfillment of that prophecy includes a second revolution, which is that artificial intelligence. How do I know? Well, you're just going to have to follow along to find out because that's not the crazy part about this whole presentation. Once we finish with that part, I'm going to tell you about the amazing part of what they plan to do with this AI stuff that'll just blow your mind. So let's start with reading Luke 19. This is Luke 19, 41 through 44. It says, Now as he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, If you had known even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace, but now they are hidden from your eyes. For the day will come when you, your enemies, will build an embarkment around you, surrounding you, and enclose you in every side. And the level you, and your children within you, and the ground, and they will not leave you in one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation. When Jesus wept over Jerusalem, he predicted its destruction in AD 70. His words had a double meaning. On one level, they spoke directly to the Roman armies that would surround the city and tear it down stone by stone.
2:53 But on the larger level, his prophecies pointed forward to the end of the world. Just as Jerusalem fell because it rejected Christ and did not know the time of its visitation. So the world, at the end, will face judgment for turning away from him. This is why in Matthew 24, Jesus blended the destruction of Jerusalem with signs of his second coming. He wanted his followers to see Jerusalem's fall as a warning picture of the final crisis ahead. The local judgment in AD 70 says, was a type. And a global judgment at the end is the anti-type. This prophecy is so significant, and it's mentioned by Jesus. So if it's going to happen again, maybe we should study the judgments upon Jerusalem that will have another fulfillment. First, although this prophecy will have two fulfillments, the actual event has two sieges as well. Let me repeat that. So the first siege of prophecy occurred in AD 66. The second siege of prophecy occurred in AD 70. And this prophecy will happen two times. So let's study both sieges so that we know how to identify it today. The Romans under Cestius surrounded Jerusalem, but withdrew unexpectedly, allowing Christians to flee to Pella, as Jesus warned.
4:17 Here's a quote from some great Bible commentary in the book, The Great Controversy. After the Romans under Cestius had surrounded the city, they unexpectedly abandoned the siege when everything seemed favorable for the immediate attack. The besieged, despairing of successful resistance, were on the point of surrender when the Roman general withdrew his forces without the least apparent reason. But God's merciful providence was directing events for the good of his own people. The promised sign had been given to the waiting Christians, and now the opportunity was offered for all who would to obey the Savior's warnings. Events were so overruled that neither Jew nor Roman could hinder the flight of the Christians. So what's going on here? Well, the Zealots believed that the prophecy of the Bible were still about them winning over the Roman power. So they attacked Romans from the rear, only making them angry. Remember that the Jewish people were upset with the Christians, but due to the Roman power, the Christians were able to escape the city. So that was the first siege. The second siege, was from Titus in 8070. The siege resumed under this Titus character, leading to the Jerusalem's destruction, with no Christian perishing due to their prior escape. Starvation and fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy perfectly. The fire that lit the sanctuary melted the gold down between the bricks which fulfilled Jesus' prophecy that said, they will not leave you one stone upon another because you did not know the time.
5:57 your visitation. Did you know that many Christians fled to a nearby location called Pella where they could not be oppressed and could keep the Sabbath? The seventh-day Sabbath. That's a quote from history. This is interesting from Eusebius. Then the spiritual seed of Abraham fled to Pella and on the other side of the Jordan where they found a safe place of refuge and could serve their master and keep his Sabbath. Sure enough, archaeology has revealed that the seventh-day Sabbath keepers were keeping the Sabbath as Christians in Pella until the fourth century. Remember, it was decreed in AD 321 to keep Sunday as a Sabbath. So there must have been a lot of Sabbath keepers in Pella, which is why Eusebius said this. So remember, the Savior's prophecy concerning the visitations of judgments upon Jerusalem is to have the same fulfillment, of which that terrible desolation was not a faint shadow. As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was a signal for the flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on part of our nation in the decree enforcing the papal Sabbath will be a warning to us. This is from Great Controversy, page 36. Fascinating. The decree enforcing the papal Sabbath will be a warning to us. Something happened. So you got to wonder, was there ever a siege like this that happened in America? Have there ever been powers that thought to enforce these decrees? On American soil. And has this, or was it, a warning to us as Americans and to the rest of the world? It has been. Because in 1888, America, the land of the free, where religious freedom reigns supreme, Senator Henry W. Blair created what is known as the Blair Bill, which would attempt to force Christians to worship in America. I'll put the document on the screen so you can see it for yourself. Just like the Roman armies, as fast as the revoke of religious freedom, the freedom came in, it vanished. And although not enforced, to a limited degree, it continued even until this day. There are American laws called the Blue Laws that are enforceable, and followed by some businesses which limit work on Sunday, like Chick-fil-A. So in limited fashion, the first siege has truly come. And it's still on the books today. So it seems that we can all agree that the first siege happened and left. When is the second? To find that out, let's analyze what happened back then to agitate the first modern siege of the second fulfillment to Christ's prophecy. Again, we're looking at what happened back then to find out what will happen today. Back then, Pope Leo XIII was pope from 1878 until his death in 1903. During this period, Pope Leo created the Rerum Novarum in 1891.
8:57 This Rerum Novarum was kind of like an encyclical that pushed out his desires for what he wished to see. It emphasized workers' rights, including the Sunday rest, or Sunday worship. Why was the Pope pushing to help workers back then during this siege? Why was there a lot of talk about worship back then? Well, because there was a lot of trouble with work. Why was there so much trouble with work? Because of the Industrial Revolution. What was that? What was the Industrial Revolution, and what did it have to do with keeping the Sabbath? What does it have to do with workers' rights? Well, it turns out that a lot of these people, the origins of what they call the Luddite movement, the Luddite movement emerged in the early 19th century as skilled artisans protested against the introduction of machinery that threatened their livelihoods. This resistance highlighted the fear of job loss due to mechanization. Hmm, mechanization, huh? Symbolic leadership of Ned Ludd. So where did this come from? The movement is named after a fictional leader, Ned Ludd, symbolizing the artisans who felt their skills were being devalued by the rise of machines. This reflected a broader societal anxiety about the industrialization. So they had this big Industrial Revolution. Big machines started coming in, and it started giving people that had jobs, putting things together, sewing fabric, taking and smoothing fabric out that it caused people to lose their jobs. So much was this a big deal that Queen Elizabeth stood up and was like, look, I'm not going to have this happen to my people. She said, quote, I have too much love for my poor people who obtained their bread by knitting to afford my money to an invention that would tend to their ruin. Fascinating, huh? Well, it gets even more interesting because by the turn of the 19th century, Parliament repealed the laws that were on the books that kept machines from taking the jobs of the worker. Before mechanization, croppers would use a 50-pound object to smooth out wool. But when cropping machines came widespread, they became unemployed. And croppers were some of the most strongest and loudest and most upset figures you would not like to have in your working life.
11:25 The question of quality was a big factor. Framework knitters had made garments with tubes of material, much like Christ's beautiful garment that they cast lots for. It was out of a tube of garment. And that's how they made them nice back then. But now, because things can be cheaply made, they started making what they called cut-ups. And that's what we wear today. Fabric that has been made in sheets, cut to a fabric size, and then knitted to a tube of material. And that's what we wear today. It became a big deal because they found it was cheaper to do these cut-ups with a clothing sheet rather than to machine it and make it better that way. In fact, it was lower quality because they didn't know the stitching as well as we have it today too. So things were falling apart and they wanted it to be one big tube again. So people were very upset about this. They began to employ people that were not trained to do the work because they could have a machine do it. And when you have a machine do it, you're not going to be able to do it. And so they began to employ people that were There was no training necessary because the machine does all the work. So the wages and the working hours completely changed, erasing more jobs than it created. And this caused a poorer quality of goods and a lot more impactful as machines could work anytime. And you can make a lot more out of this, but it made people not able to work. But it made people not able to worship as well because now with machines, you could do it all week without people getting tired. So on March 11, 1811, the first protest started. They came in, they started smashing machines, they started setting fires.
13:07 They started, there was, and this wasn't, there wasn't any Amazon to be upset about. There was not even much police force back then. So it was the townspeople that employed by these small factories that had to endure this and had to take up their, their own weapons and defend their small factories. So by 1812, there were protests every night. Parliament saw the machine breaking as such a threat to Northern England that it made the machine breaking a capital crime. Now remember, the Queen had just said, just, just a while ago, that it would not allow machines to be made because of the bread of the poor people. So contrast that with just years later where she's like, you know what? If you break a machine, we'll hang you. Rapid changes happen all because of economics, right? So April 1812, people started dying over this stuff. Martial law was declared and the local people approved. The decentralized aggression was very difficult to handle. The protests continued until 1816 and did not stop this mechanization. So what does this have to do with the Pope and prophecy? Well, I want to show you a short clip from Pope Leo XIV, the Catholic Church's newest Pope. This is truly fascinating. So this is significant. And I want to read this to you in English in case you weren't able to read those subtitles. I chose to take the name Leo XIV. There are different reasons for this, but mainly because Leo, Pope Leo XIII, in his historic encyclical, Rerum Novarum, addressed the social questions in the context of the first great industrial revolution. And today, the Church offers to everyone the treasury of social teachings in response to another industrial revolution and to the developments in the fields of artificial intelligence that pose new challenges for the defense of human dignity, justice, and labor.
15:52 How is it that the Pope, that has taken the same name for the purpose of pushing the same agenda for the concern of the people's dignity and justice and labor? How is it that this happens in this time period? And we had the first siege about 100 years ago. What is going on here? Let's look into the encyclical real quick, this Rerum Novarum. What does it talk about? Does it talk about labor? Does it talk about religious laws enforcing? Could this be a second siege of the second fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy that we are beginning to see the fulfillment of today? Rerum Novarum says this, From this follows the obligation of the secession of work and labor on Sundays, and concerning and certain holy days. The rest from labor is not to be understood as a mere giving away to idleness, much less must it be an occasion for spending money and a vicious indulgence, as many would have it to be, but it should be a rest from labor, hallowed by religion. So do you see what's happening here? Do you see the parallels that are happening between AI and the Industrial Revolution? Do you see that it's potentially taking away jobs? Have you seen that in the news? Well, let's dig into this AI thing real quick, because I think it's very important. What is AI?
17:27 Well, AI is kind of like a suitcase word, like the word transportation. Or if you were to say, how did you get here? You would say car or bike. You wouldn't say transportation. It's just like, how would we get something? We wouldn't just say AI. It would be a certain type of AI. Machine learning is a type of AI. It builds on a software that calculates patterns and data using something called deep learning, which is a category under machine learning, which usually is something called neural networks. And it's a type of AI that is built to give out data driven techniques. And these neural networks are often software that is built, which develop these deep learning algorithms to accomplish the bigger things that you see in these large language models that we have today called ChatGPT or, or Grok or Gemini. Some of the big players are these people, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, Meta, High Flyer, and Google. Amazon, X, Apple, IBM. They make these AI systems called ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, LAM, DeepSeek, Titan, Grok. Siri's not really an AI right now. And Watson, I don't know if you can consider that truly AI yet. But Sam Altman runs OpenAI. These are some of the people we're actually going to hear from in these next videos. Dario, Dimas, Santia, where he's the Microsoft CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. You might have heard of some of these people, Elon Musk, Tim Cook. What do they think about this AI stuff? And does it throw any red flags up? To find these answers, I decided to go to the creator of AI himself, Geoffrey Hinton.
19:18 Geoffrey Hinton has been working on this for 50 years until Google picked him up and said, Hey, you might have something here. What does he think about AI? They call you the godfather of AI. So what would you be saying to people about their career prospects in a world of super intelligence? Trained to be a plumber. Really? Yeah. Geoffrey Hinton is the Nobel Prize winning pioneer whose groundbreaking work has shaped AI and the future of humanity. Why do they call you the godfather of AI? Because there weren't many people who believed that we could model AI on the brain so that it learned to do complicated things like recognize objects and images or even do reasoning. And I pushed that approach for 50 years. And then Google acquired that technology. And I worked there for 10 years on something that's now used all the time in AI. And then you left? Yeah. Why? So that I could talk freely at a conference. What did you want to talk about freely? How dangerous AI could be. I realized that these things will one day get smarter than us. And we've never had to deal with that. And if you want to know what life's like when you're not the apex intelligence, ask a chicken.
20:19 So there's risks that come from people misusing AI. And then there's risks from AI getting super smart and deciding it doesn't need us. Is that a real risk? Yes, it is. They're not going to stop it because it's too good for too many things. What about regulations? They have some, but they're not designed to deal with most of the threats. Like, the European regulations have a clause that say none of these apply to military uses of AI. Really? Yeah. It's crazy. One of your students left OpenAI. Yeah. He was probably the most important person behind the development of the early versions of ChatGPT. And I think he left because he had safety concerns. We should recognize that this stuff is an existential threat. And we have to face the possibility that unless we do something soon, we're not going to be safe. And if someone who's an atheist understands how close we are to the end, how much more we as Christians should understand how close we are as well. We have more to give us that indication than even he does. Even so, the AI creators themselves say they don't even understand how this thing works. How is that possible?
21:23 We have a very good idea of sort of roughly what it's doing. But as soon as it gets really complicated, we don't actually know what's going on any more than we know what's going on in your brain. What do you mean we don't know exactly how it works? It was designed by people. No, it wasn't. What we did was we designed the learning algorithm. But when this learning algorithm then interacts with data, it produces complicated neural networks that are good at doing things, but we don't really understand exactly how they do those things. There is an aspect of this which we call, all of us in the field, the learning algorithm. Yeah. We'll call it as a black box. You know, you don't fully understand. And you can't quite tell why it said this or why it got wrong. We have some ideas, and our ability to understand this gets better over time. But that's where the state of the art is.
22:13 You don't fully understand how it works, and yet you've turned it loose on society? Let me put it this way. I don't think we fully understand how a human mind works either. So this thing they modeled after the human brain says that it is essentially learning and managing these different neural networks on its own through a computer. And what's amazing about this is they can take not just one brain that's simulated to be like yours, but also duplicate it on the same computer into many different sections. Then they take that section, take a thousand brains, and have them all go and learn in the same database and put it on another computer. Then have a whole rack of those computers. Then take a whole rack of those computers and duplicate it inside the same data center. Then take that whole data center and duplicate it into multiple data centers. And before you know it, you have one AI that is learning in just 30 minutes what might take a lifetime for a human being to learn. And although not literally, I think you kind of understand why people like Elon Musk are saying we're releasing a demon. I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I were to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it's probably that. So we need to be very careful with artificial intelligence. I'm increasingly inclined to think that there should be some regulatory oversight, maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don't do something very foolish.
23:55 With artificial intelligence, we are summoning the demon. You know those stories where there's the guy with the pentagram and the holy water, and he's like, yeah, are you sure you can control a demon? It doesn't work out. Now in context, Elon is not saying that they're summoning literal demons out of this thing. I think we all get a little bit too much if we think that AI is literal demonic entities. No, it's mimicking our brain's capacity. And essentially, we are working ourselves out of a job that will bring on more worship laws. He is certainly saying we do not know how this will go. Humanity has never been here before to this point, ever. So if the creators are concerned about this, then shouldn't that be a red flag? But see, here's the problem. You can't stop because of competition.
24:48 If we don't get this soon, China is going to get it. If we don't get this soon, then Russia is going to get it. And if we don't do something about that, if we don't get that general intelligence that can tell us everything and that can be essentially what Elon Musk thinks is our god, then we're not going to be on top of the world anymore. The economy is not going to be in our favor, and that's what everyone wants. Economic favor. So everyone is concerned about creating an intelligence so smart that it gets rid of our jobs and fights our fires. And it outsmarts the rest of the world. It's an arms race. It's everyone against everybody else. And everyone knows just how dangerous that is. But like the atomic bomb, they don't want to stop due to fear. Fear of being left behind. But there's also the fear of succeeding.
25:41 And what that means for the majority of the workforce. Artificial intelligence is going to replace literally half of all white-collar workers in the US. This AI technology is going to be the most transformative technology. We're the last generation of CEOs to only manage humans. AI is probably the most important thing humanity has ever worked on. I think of it as something more profound than electricity or fire. You're not going to lose your job to an AI, but you're going to lose your job to someone who uses AI. I'm a little bit more worried about the labor impact, simply because it's happening so fast that yes, people will adapt, but they may not adapt fast enough. I think we do need to be concerned about it. I think policymakers do need to worry about it. A well-known and respected tech CEO, Dario Amadei, who heads a cutting-edge AI company called Anthropic, is raising alarms tonight about AI's potential impact on employment that could soon be felt.
26:35 Half of entry-level white-collar jobs disappearing and 10-20% unemployment in the next 1-5 years. I think it's important to be honest about that. There will be some jobs that totally go away. One of the things that we have seen is this technology is already having a huge impact on jobs. Not necessarily because the technology itself is really capable of replacing jobs, but it is perceived as capable enough that executives are laying off workers. So OpenAI, their definition of what they call artificial general intelligence is highly autonomous systems that outperform humans in most economically valuable work. So they explicitly state that they are trying to automate jobs away. I mean, what is economically valuable work? Not economically valuable work, but the things that people do to get paid. No question that AI is affecting every industry in America. You mentioned that management consultant group McKinsey.
27:32 They wrote a study about two years ago that found that 30% of the things that you do at work right now could be automated in the next three years, which is why more young people are shifting to blue-collar jobs. But one firm found that the adoption of AI resulted in more than 10,000 lost jobs in the month of July alone. In fact, 65% of Gen Z believe their college degree will not protect them from AI-related job loss. More than half of Gen Z workers say they're now seriously considering blue-collar or skilled trade work. AI isn't going to take over the hard skills. AI can take the soft skills. That's why you see, you know, people in white-collar jobs, some of them are losing their positions because AI can now do their job. Do you see the parallels that are happening from the industrial revolution to the AI revolution? That's happening right now today.
28:23 Maybe we got through with the industrial revolution, and maybe we would just get through with the AI revolution just fine. But this AI revolution is coming through so fast that it is going to hit much harder than it will the industrial revolution. And I believe the spiritual realm knows that. I believe as time progresses with this AI revolution, and as things take over people's jobs, we're going to see things that we saw in the industrial revolution age, such as the burning of these factories, the revolts and the anger of the people, maybe even to the point where people of the government start to say, okay, we all have to get some type of morality back. Everyone go back to church. Everybody, this is too crazy to be doing some terrible things like this. I know you've lost your job, but maybe we should just give you UBI, universal basic income, instead.
29:26 There will be fewer and fewer jobs that a robot cannot do better. What to do about mass unemployment? This is going to be a massive social challenge. And I think ultimately we will have to have some kind of universal basic income. I don't think we're going to have a choice. Universal basic income. Universal basic income. I think it's going to be necessary. So it means that unemployed people will be paid across the globe. Yeah. Because there is no job. Machine, robot is taking over. That's simply the, and I want to be clear that these, these are not things that I think, that I wish would happen. These are simply things that I think probably will happen. Anytime the government gives you some kind of income, it ends up being a control method.
30:18 There's some interesting quotes from the there's some interesting Bible commentary I always refer back to that I believe is prophetic. She looks back and she says, you know what, you guys at the end of time really need to learn a couple things. She says every youth on leaving school should have acquired a knowledge of some trade or occupation by which if need be, he may earn a livelihood. Hmm. Imagine that. The hard skills are not taken away as fast as the soft skills. We were given all this computer work, and now it's being all taken away. All these soft skills that we learned in computer work might just vanish overnight. Many do not see the importance of having land, being self-sustaining, and having knowledge of practical labor. AI is not going to take the ability to grow some peas in a pod or carrots in your soil.
31:18 That's something that you can still do, and you should be looking into today. In Great Controversy, page 590, it says, And those who present the claims of the fourth commandment, thus destroying reverence for Sunday, are troublers of the people, preventing their restoration to divine favor and temporal prosperity. You see, this is what the government will claim of the people. The righteous few that are trying to uphold the love of God are saying that this temporal prosperity, which is economic prosperity, is temporal, meaning the world itself, not temporary, it's temporal. So this temporal prosperity, meaning that the government and the society will be in ruins economically, probably because of this AI thing. So instead of spending our time and means in self-gratification, perhaps we should be studying to economize right now.
32:12 Obviously, buying and selling will be very difficult, and it'll appear that the economic turn-back will be a difficult one for everyone as well, because the moneyed men, because they have power, control the market. They purchase at these low rates, all they can obtain, and then they sell at the greatly increased prices, which means starvation for poorer classes and the result in civil war. So just like the first industrial revolution, this AI revolution will no doubt begin to see an outcry from the people. Will we see people breaking machines again? Destroying data centers? Will the lawlessness become so great that there will be an outcry from the people for some type of religion or morality due to this lawlessness? Testimonies for the Church says, The world is becoming more and more lawless. Soon great trouble will arise among the nations, trouble that will not cease until Jesus comes. I can see the possibility of unions getting very much involved with this idea, since people won't be able to keep up with the rate at which AI is taking their jobs.
33:19 And since AI can work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, how can people keep up with this without some type of regulation saying they are allowed at least one day off? The trade unions will be one of the agencies that will bring upon this earth a time of trouble such as there never has been and since the world began. So what does the world plan to do with superintelligence once it arrives? We're already being told it is here to control injustice. Think about the new Stargate program that just came out. The old Stargate program was about spiritualism. The new Stargate program is about controlling the people. Every conversation you've ever had in your life, every book you've ever read, every email you've ever read, everything you've ever looked at is in there, plus connected all your data from other sources, and, you know, your life just keeps depending to the context and your company just does the same thing.
34:14 for all your company's data. Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison predicts AI surveillance will be part of our everyday lives in the future. During a recent Oracle Q&A, Ellison said AI will soon play a major role in monitoring society through a vast network of interconnected cameras, including security systems, police body cams, and vehicle dash cams. Everyone would see it. Your body cams would be transmitting that. The police will be unable to be on their best behavior because we're constantly recording, watching and recording everything that's going on. Citizens will be on their best behavior because we're constantly recording and reporting everything that's going on. Ellison's vision is for AI to analyze data from this network of cameras in real time in an attempt to prevent crime while also tracking and influencing public behavior for a safer society. Why is Oracle involved? Why is Microsoft involved?
35:13 Well, they all want to be that one that has that data to control society. So my appeal to you is this. While you are watching all this happens, let's get back into the word. Let's get back into realizing, hey, now is time to economize a little bit because the richest people in the world are not the ones that have the most. They are the ones who can save the most. So look at your bank statements. See what you can cut out. See how much you can save. Put a down payment on a piece of property. And start building that wealth that is in Christ Jesus because he's coming soon and you're going to want to be a part of that. You're going to want to make a way to save as many people as possible. There is another ark to build and that ark is just before the end of time. Join me in building that ark as well.
