The fact that there are charlatans in this world, the fact that there are financial crooks does not mean we shut down every conference treasury office. Freeze it. I agree. Corruption doesn't shut down the treasury, but redirecting tithe shut down significant programs in our church. This is not an attack on Conrad Vine. I think he's a sincere brother who has done a great job of preaching in the church. He stood up when it cost him, and I respect that. I honor the man, but I test the message. It has been said that where was your outrage when the rampant apostasy was being promoted by our key institutions? So let me ask it in a different way. Where is the outcry when the biggest deception faced by the entire world right now, the UAP deception, is knocking on our door?
0:59 This has been a plan for a long time, and it's about to sweep the planet. And we've known about this since Revelation was written, since the inspired pen has wrote about it, of the supernatural character that will soon be revealed in the heavens. Here's the truth. If someone's taking care of business, it doesn't take every one of us to handle it. Dr. Vine has his lane, and I have mine, usually. And mine is not tithe, normally. It's not abortion, normally. It's about spiritualism, the deception of the last days. That's my whole assignment. That's why a little while back I made a video about Roger Morneau, the man who came out of the occult. Tithe has never been my goal here. Refereeing politics have never been my lane. But Morneau, the man whose entire testimony is about the spiritual world, said something that lands on this exact moment. And when spiritualism shows up on your doorstep, you look at it.
2:00 I have never once claimed Roger Morneau is a conclusive Bible-level authority. He isn't. But it sure was interesting, and in my ignorance, I thought it would be fascinating for the majority of those studying Christians who study this perspective and watch this channel. I think regardless of who has the microphone, everyone's message should be tested, with Scripture. So today we're going back and looking at tithe, first from the Bible, then from Spirit of Prophecy, and then eight points from Roger Morneau. So let me be specific about how much I actually agree with, because it's most of it. He looks at this church and sees real wounds. And he's right. COVID. Members who lost their jobs were denied religious exemption. Some who have lost far more than that.
2:52 And to this day, no apology. He's right. He's right. He's right. He's right. He's right. He's right. Abortion in the Adventist institutions? Terrible. Graduation ceremonies celebrating what Scripture calls sin, and generations of our youths walking out the back door and not coming back. He's right. These are real issues. And if that makes you upset, good. It should. It makes me sad, too. And we said the church is not a building, not a corporation, not a headquarters, that the church is a people. The blood-bought body of God. God, with his commandments, he's right about that. I mean, I'm not going to argue with those points because they're true. And I agree with them. He's even right about the church needing rebuking. Jesus himself stood over Laodicea. That's us. He said, Many I love, I rebuke and chasten.
3:42 Correction is not the enemy of the church. So don't shoot the messenger when I say there is something that needs rebuking here in his presentations. Now, someone's going to raise Matthew 18, inevitably. And there was a brother of mine who said, Bradley, you've got a problem with Conrad. You should go to Conrad privately first. And don't take it public. I have reached out to Conrad, but he's not available. But more than that, Matthew 18 says, If thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his faults between thee and him alone. Hmm. There's two things here. It's a trespass against thee, a personal wrong. And it's between thee and him alone. Something only the two of you know about. But a public sermon? That's a whole different category.
4:38 That's the Berean matter. That's where they search the scriptures all day to find out what they were taught were even so. That's what Paul was standing Peter in front of everybody. Peter's public example was leading people astray. So you answer. The sermon where the sermon was given. Now, understand me. Dr. Vine is standing with me on the same ground, this entire ground, this entire message. We part company at only one place. And it is not whether the problem exists or is real. It's what you do with tithes. So here's the turn. Watch it in his own words. No tithes should be paid in the form of money to any conference, mission, field, section worldwide until the general conferences apologizes. So those who are hurt by the reaffirmation statement and gives the assurance that the GC will never again presume to override the conscience, the convictions of the Holy Spirit upon the consciences of members worldwide.
5:35 No tithes should be paid, particularly many D until all of our institutions actually agree to uphold what we believe. I once said in a sermon, if you go woke, you go broke. Now I go a step further. If you remain woke, you deserve to go broke. And the irregular lines will flourish. So make your choice to those SGA leaders who've gone woke. If you want to remain woke, go broke. You deserve to go broke. And let the irregular lines of faithful laity flourish. Dr. Vine is not telling you to stop returning tithe to God and keep it for yourself. What he's saying is hold it back from the conferences or even redirect it to the irregular lines.
6:26 See? Plant makers. Until leadership meets his conditions. The tithe is the one place where the right diagnosis meets the wrong prescription. That's why it gets scrutiny. Disfunding the hospitals to fund a fragmented irregular line is a prescription for death. A splintered line, I find my will. Is my local conference the storehouse of scripture? Well, your local conference, it is a storehouse, but it is not the storehouse. There are multiple storehouses. In North America, we have 60-plus conferences, that's 60-plus storehouses. And what, six unions, that's another six storehouses, and we have the division. And so there are multiple storehouses just within the North American division. Hmm. And then he does something surprising. He pulls up a line from Randy Robertson, a retired treasurer of the North American division.
7:25 Printed in The Adventist Journey, December 2023, on page four. The Adventist Church defines the storehouse within its own structure as the local conference. Then listen to the next sentence. That definition is not a theological requirement. What a stunning admission from the NED treasurer. It is not a theological requirement, nor is the subsequent flow of tithe throughout the organization. It is a polity decision. Yes, he uses the word polity, not policy. It is a polity decision we have simply agreed upon collectively. There is no theological basis for the Michigan Conference being the storehouse for all Michigan Adventists. Hmm. It's a strong argument. The mechanism, the rule, that your tithe goes to the local conference first and then flows up, the specific arrangement is polity, an agreement the church made.
8:23 Their own treasurer said so. But watch what the subtlety is here. Dr. Vine talks the plumbing. He says polity and slides it into the direction is up to you. This is 100% incorrect. The destination of the tithe was never handed to a private committee. God said the direction himself. Numbers 18.21 says he gave the tithe to the ordained ministry. I have given the children of Levi all the tenth of Israel. Alec I 3.10. Bring it into the storehouse. The treasury that feeds the ministry. And Paul carries it straight into the New Testament. Even so had the Lord ordained that they who preach the gospel should live of the gospel. So here's a line that answers the whole argument then. Polity decides the plumbing.
9:16 Scripture decides the direction. The church decides which treasury and how it flows. That's the polity part. I'll give them that. But where the tithe is aimed, that is God himself. And no vote can move it. Now, this is exactly where someone in the church will say, well, the church is the people, not the organization. So let the people decide. And that is true. The church is the people. But watch what gets smuggled in with it. God never handed the tithes to each believer to aim on his own. Look at the very first tithe in Scripture. Abraham didn't serve. They failed and picked the worthiest cause. He brought his tithe to Melchizedek. Hebrews 7 makes a whole argument of it. The tithe has always had an address that the giver doesn't get to rewrite.
10:12 It went to God's appointed authority, the Levites in Israel. The gospel worker. Paul describes, Never were ever the giver was personally convicted to give. Don't follow your heart. That's the quiet problem with I'm the people I decide. The movement. That every believer becomes his own destination. The word storehouse just stops meaning anything at that point. Because a storehouse that everyone empties in a different direction isn't a storehouse at all. Unless it's part of God's organization. The church is the people is true. Therefore, saying God's tithe whatever you want is not true. Do what thy wilt has never been God's law. So the question remains.
11:00 Does corruption at the top release me from the storehouse? I love this question. Because the Bible has already ran the experiment. You don't have to guess. Look at Malachi. The very book everyone quotes for bring ye all the tithe. You know what's happening in the first two chapters where the famous lines. God is scorching the priests in chapter one and chapter two. He's called them corrupt. He's saying you polluted the offerings. You've broken the covenant. Men are running that storehouse as a disaster. And then in the very next breath to the very same people over the same corrupt priesthood. God says, bring me all the tithes into the storehouse. He rebuked the leaders with one hand and then turned to the people and said, why aren't you paying these guys?
11:52 Corruption at the top didn't cancel the command. Not convinced. Go stand with Jesus in Mark 12. He stands across from the temple treasury. Run by the very men who the same week nail him to the cross. And the poor widow comes and drops her two coins in. And no, I'm not calling her tithe, her two coins tithe. Everything she's had was lifted into there. And she and Jesus calls her the greatest skipper of the house. Now, some of you already typing it, Brad, that's not tithe. That's offering. And you're right. It's not. But listen to me. She gave everything. And tithe is only a tent, not everything. So let me ask you for one correction, though. If Jesus wouldn't let even a corrupt administration stop a woman's free will gift, the kind of free giving you have the most liberty over, the kind you really can direct anywhere you want, how much more or less would he bless withholding or redirecting a tithe?
12:57 The one thing scripture says you don't get to change the direction. If there was ever a moment for don't fund the corrupt, that was it. Jesus had every reason to lean over and say, no, no, no, not that registry. They're corrupt. He said the opposite. He watched her give into the treasury of men about to kill him. And he praised her for it. You know who understands this principle better than anyone? This man on the screen. The fact that there are false preachers does not mean that we shut down preaching ministry. In general, from Adventist pulpits, the fact that there are charlatans in this world, the fact that there are financial crooks does not mean we shut down every conference treasury office. You preached it beautifully. So I only have one question and I ask it with all respect in the world.
13:49 If corruption among some doesn't shut down the treasury's existence, why would it shut down our faithfulness to it? Why does the principle hold? When? You're. You're defending the office, but not when you're defunding it. You preach the answer in your own sermon. Just asking us to listen to you. That's all the majority of what we've done so far is discuss what the Bible says about tithes. Now let the prophet speak because she is even plainer and she answered this exact question. In fact, she answered the question that Dr. Vine asks out loud in entropy. Does God hold me? Is he responsible for the apostasies of those who use the financial tithe that I return? The answer is yes. This is the main engine running the whole sermon.
14:42 Fear motivating you to redact your tithes and saying that you're guilty for the decisions that others have made with your money. So pull it back or the woe is yours as if you can be accountable for what you don't know. So here's Ellen White answering the very same question in Manuscript 3. 1890, a selfish withholding from God will attend to poverty in our own souls. Act your part, brother and sisters. God loves you and he stands at the helm. If the conference business is not managed according to the order of the Lord, that is the sin of the erring ones. The Lord will not hold you responsible for it if you do what you can to correct the evil, but do not commit sin yourself. By withholding from the Lord his own personal property. Cursed be he who doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully or negligently.
15:41 Ooh, read this slowly and read it again if you need to, because it's a head-on collision. Vine says God holds you responsible for the erring one's sin and she said the opposite. That it's the sin of the erring ones. The Lord will not hold you responsible for it. You can't both be right here. Now, I already know two things that some of you are going to reach for. So let's not skip past them. The first one is. She says, if you do what you can to correct evil, she said it. I've seen, I've heard people say, if you correct the evil, that's, that's, that's redirecting tithe at doing something about it. So I can do that, but read the very next words. She says, she finishes the thought like this. Do not commit sin yourself by withholding the Lord's property. Right now, someone is saying, but I'm, I'm not withholding anything.
16:35 I'm redirecting. That's different. Friend from the storehouse side of things, they're exact same thing. Look at her words. Withholding from the Lord is own property. The sin she didn't say is keeping in her pocket. It's not receiving what belongs to God. Whether you keep it or redirect it to a ministry, the results are identical. You have withheld it from the place he appointed. Redirecting is just withholding with a forwarding address. She called the tithe his own property and the property that's his, isn't yours to forward. If it doesn't make it to the treasury, it's withholding. And she seals it with the sharpest line of all. Jeremiah, cursed be he who doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully or negligently.
17:30 So how has Dr. Vine arrived at the opposite answer? Well, his confident, yes, hold you responsible for it is amazing. He leans on one real statement, the fearful woes. For those who receive and maintain an unsanctified ministers, read who it's aimed at. The woes fall on the leaders, the ones who ordain, that are hiring and keep unfaithful workers. It is a warning to the men making appointments. Appointments, not to the member in the pew, returning what belongs to God. And she didn't say any of this from a distance either. Go to 1896. She's looking at the men handling the money at the heart of this movement. She says, Satan has taken possession of their minds. The conference, the general conference itself, is becoming corrupt. And she says, it is as dark as an hour that this church has ever seen.
18:30 And in there. In that exact hour, her counsel to members were, bring in the full tithe. Wow. Withholding it is robbing God. In fact, there was a leaders are corrupt, so pull your tithe argument. This would be it. And this would apply. It was then, back then. But she went the other way. Interesting, huh? Now, here's the premise hiding underneath this whole debate. Listen to how Dr. Vine frames it. I want to challenge you today. If you're watching this and the Holy Spirit is, I've convicted you that nobody today from this day forward should return any tithe in the form of many to any Adventist conference, mission or field until the following conditions are met for the general conference to dissolve our union with the United Nations and to revoke all the official statements so that we can be the pure bride of Christ and avoid the characteristics of a harlot's daughter of Babylon. Sister White says that the harlot daughters of Babylon have two characteristics. They enter into alliances. They enter into alliances with the kings of this world and they adopt the doctrines of the papacy. We are in alliance with the nations of this world. And by subjugating conscience, we've adopted papal thinking.
19:41 We're coming awfully close to meeting Sister White's definition of a harlot's daughter of Babylon. I'm not saying we're there yet, but we have the characteristics. Hmm. I understand the theory in this. I do. But here's what he's doing. Redirecting your tithe away from the church. It makes sense that the church has become, you must separate from. You don't withhold from your own mother's house. You withhold from Babylon. So the whole argument is quietly leaning on this, that we are, or about to be, Babylon. And that is one claim that the spirit of prophecy meets head on and won't allow. Last Day Events, page 43 says, If you are teaching that the Seventh-day Adventist church is Babylon, you are wrong. And it goes further. To make the claim, she says, is to make the same claim as does Satan, who is the accuser of the brethren.
20:38 So the second someone hits that roll, they reach for one thing. The Watson letters. So let's deal with that. And if we don't, it'll be the top comment before I finish this sentence. Here's what it actually is. In 1905, an agent raising money for the neglected work among some Americans in the South, had received some tithes. And a conference president wanted to make a public issue of it. Ellen White wrote to calm him. She explained that she herself had quietly redirected some of her own tithes to age-destitute ministers that the church was failing to support. Remember the world she is. There's no retirement plans. There's no Social Security. None of that. But these preachers. We're going hungry. So people wave that letter and say, look, this is, this is, this is tithe.
21:37 She did it so I can do it too. Well, look at it. There's four things that separate what she did from what Vine is urging completely. One, hers applies to a need, starting ministers. Vine, on the other hand, applies pressure to withhold until leaders plied or go broke. She never once used the title to force policy change. That's an issue. That's an entirely different aim of Vine's plan. Those are opposites. Number two, hers went to the church's own recognized workers. She was careful to say that this was not withheld from the Lord's treasury. Vine directs it away from the conferences to faithful gospel workers, the tent makers. A third option outside the storehouse. She called it the special case. In her plain words, I would not advise anyone should make a practice of gathering tithe money.
22:32 And she told the president not to publicize it, lest many more follow this example. Vine does the exact opposite. He broadcasts it out as a method to thousands of people. And probably the most important one is she claimed divine instruction. She had been instructed to do this. She never once offered it as a rule for you to copy. Vine offers it. As exactly that. So here's the trap the Watson letter sets before the very people quoting it. You cannot hold her up as an example, as binding, while throwing out her instructions as optional. If her practice carries enough weight to be a proof text, then her counsel, in that same breath, don't make this a practice.
23:21 Don't apply tithe as you see fit. Even what you think is the Lord's work, this carries at least as much weight as her example. So what can we do then? Well, we can go to the annual council. We can be a delegate, bring a motion. We can refuse to let it be buried until it's voted. Every leader you're upset with is voted in, and they can be voted out. So find out their positions there. Sign a public petition. Become a public voice. It's the very thing I'm doing right now. You can do it too. And don't tell me it doesn't work, because it already has. In 1996, there was a crisis, and the answer wasn't to defund the church. It was to reform from the inside. And it came. In 1901, reorganization broke the kingly power.
24:12 And if you want an example that should quiet every single one of us, it should be the faithful Adventist woman being turned away in the 1940s because of the color of her skin, and she died. Those believers had more... They had more reason to walk away than anyone watching this video. Hmm. Their tithe was funding institutions that wouldn't even treat them. And what would they do? Well, their own descendants' ministry says it best. They did not leave the church. They changed the church from the inside. They didn't pull their tithes away and walk away like someone with no backbone. They stood up for themselves and fixed it. That's the difference. Reform changes the church. Withholding just ruins it. And here's the cruel part here. The tithe you pull doesn't punish the leaders you're angry at.
25:08 Think of how businesses run. Do a few corrupt leaders who make bad decisions get kicked out first when the budget cuts come? No. They keep their salaries the longest. The things that get cut are the missions, the well-digging, the relief efforts, and it starts your local pastor planting that new church down the road. The teacher, the missionary in the field. It hits the faithful first, the powerful last, because everything rolls downhill. So, we've heard the Bible, we've heard the prophet, and we agree that from start to finish, return the tithe, reform from within, and never call the church Babylon. Now and only now, at the very end of The Secondary Witness, I want to show you something that started this whole thing. The reason this channel is exposing spiritualism and talking about tithe at the same time, Roger Morneau, a man who sat before his conversion in the actual council of devil worshipers.
26:16 Years ago, he wrote down strategy that he had described in those rooms that planned to break our church. And I'm not asking you to build a doctrine on it. I've already given you the doctrine. I'm not asking you the doctrine from the Bible in the spirit of prophecy. I'm asking you to look at the pattern and judge it by its fruits. Here are eight things. I'm asking you to look at a pattern and judge it by its fruits. Morneau's account said the enemy would rise up individuals possessing great intellect and great capacities to convert. Biden has a doctorate in ministry, a former missions president, and one of the most pervasive, persuasive people in the church. Not to mention that... And everyone in voice acting knows that anyone who possesses the Queen's English accent in America, or RP, I guess, is definitely something that Americans think is authoritative and intellectual and prestigious.
27:12 But Morneau's book doesn't stop there. It says they will show discontent and dissatisfaction in the people. Man, if you've heard entropy, you know the first hour is a catalog of grievances. You know the first hour is a catalog of grievances. It said they would greatly magnify some of the mistakes made by some of its leaders and would do so without ceasing. Real failures escalated, repeated, without end. It said people's minds would be filled with the thought that the entire leadership of the church is corrupt. Hmm. Every level, he said, up to and including the GC officers themselves. It said they'd be told the creation has rejected his commandment-keeping church. Yeah, the characteristics, he said, of a harlot's daughter of Babylon. It said the result would be that people withdrew their offerings from the church.
28:13 As he said, no ties should be aimed at any conference worldwide until his demands are met. It says this case would cause cancellation of many programs of banalization, benevolence, that we've been doing for years and years. And it said the goal and the celebration of the enemy's camp would be when the Seventh-day Adventist church is reduced to splinters. Let the irregular lines flourish, he said. Let the conferences go broke. So this is eight fascinating points about this whole thing. So that's the pattern. It's not a courtroom verdict on any man's heart. I take him at his word on both. I'm telling you this because it's not a courtroom verdict. I'm telling you the strategy Morneau wrote decades ago. And the strategy in that sermon is uniquely the same.
29:08 So don't test the man, test the fruit. Ask yourself honestly what fruit this particular tree is bearing. And does it line up with the Bible? The answer is very obvious to me. Now, there is something I have to walk back. And it's something very personal. Some of you saw a video where I said that I'd share a platform with Conrad Vine in Oregon about going to a present truth conference, and I was really looking forward to this. And after a lot of prayer and counseling from a few and the strong, I decided to withdraw my speakings. And I want to tell you exactly why. Nobody has to guess at this because the Bible carries the authority here, and everything it says leads me to one conclusion.
30:00 Reform is needed. But this tidal wave of interest in this stuff is going to fail because it stands against the counsel of God. It will cause division. But I will stand with the plan God already gave, though the heavens fall. And I say this as plainly as I can. This is not an attack on Conrad Vine. I don't dislike him. I don't believe he's a villain. I don't think he's satanic. I never said that. I believe he's a good man that has taken the wrong turn on tithe and only tithed, which is a serious issue. But I cannot tie my little tiny tugboat ministry to his sinking ship. And I hope he reconsiders, and I would stand shoulder to shoulder with him in ten other fights tomorrow. That door on my end stays open. So let me bring this home and settle the word that started half this.
30:55 When I said the tithe plan is satanic, I was talking about the idea that Vine had. The idea that we should redirect the tithe to another place. For the simplest reason of this. The enemy's oldest move has been to get the people of God to defund, divide, and splinter the very body that carries his message to the world. You don't have to take a former satanist word for it. You just have to read Malachi, or look at the widow, or hear the prophet. This week, Orion Media got so much done in New Mexico. And I can't wait to tell you about Roswell in the next live stream.
