0:00 Pastor Walter Veith has had direct occult contact before he was a Christian and is considered to be an authority on this topic in many churches. In South Africa, both Pastor Veith and Martin Smith run a podcast called What's Up Prof on the Clash of Minds YouTube channel. They were in the USA for a convention and so I invited them to chat about current events for this episode. Let's get right into it beginning with a story. Many, many years ago, before I became a Christian, I was an atheist and I was involved in many occult experiences. And my father-in-law was very active in the New Age movement. He brought out a magazine in Southern Africa called Inner Space. His wife, it's not my wife's mother, but stepmother, his second wife, was deeply involved as well.
1:15 She would act as a medium. She used to teach a program which was called A Course in Miracles, which was a channeled book by Schuckman, who was a psychologist. And in the series, in these lessons that you would perform, you could become like Christ. And that's why it's A Course in Miracles. Anything he could do, you could do as well, because we are all Christ in that philosophy. Your own guide. Yes. She was also a medium in a sense. And she would have liaisons and meetings. Meetings with spirit entities that used to appear to her.
2:07 So she would be in session like a medium or like a channel. And I was also, through my father-in-law's activity, exposed to a channel of Africa. These are individuals that receive regular messages. And through circumstances. I entered up in one of their temples, where he was operative. And this temple was, this is just background, before we get to your story about spirit entities manifesting, was designed like a temple of Aquarius. It had a podium, like a preacher's rostrum. And there was the sign of Aquarius was on there. And then it had. Microphones coming down from the ceiling. And the guest list would include ministers in public sphere, like ministers in government.
3:15 Minister of this and minister of that. Religious figures and sports world. Really? Yes. The sports world was very well represented. And of course, the medical world. So they would have regular sessions. And receive instructions. And these spirit entities would manifest and speak to them. But there were also discussions about UFOs. And individuals that would be associated with UFOs. And in that area in the Cape where these activities were most prevalent, there was a particular mountain. And this mountain is very well known for UFO activities. And many of the New Age people bought property on those mountains so that they could be exposed to these UFOs.
4:15 And they believe that people can be whisked away. And there were talks of, there was talk about a lady who lived in that time period. Her name was Elizabeth Clara. And she wrote books about how she had been abducted by these aliens in alien ships. How she had been basically married to one of them. Had children with them. And she was very famous. And there were many articles in magazines and newspapers. And my father-in-law, who was also into journalism to a large extent, was very involved. In discussions with all of the activities. And this was sort of common discussion.
5:08 As if it was something that was normal. Although, of course, it was paranormal. Now, as far as I was concerned, I spoke to these channels personally. They actually showed me letters of communication with high government officials. I'm talking prime ministers and presidents of the world. So we're not talking ESA things. And they showed me letters. And they obviously thought I was initiated into that sphere of thinking. Although, I wasn't. I had actually at that stage already come out. But before that discussion with these individuals. Before I had actually become a Christian. We were with my father-in-law.
6:02 And talking about all of these issues. And my wife and I went to a restaurant. Which was opposite the ocean. So you had a beautiful view of the ocean from this restaurant. And as we sat there, two craft appeared over the ocean. And I saw these with my own eyes. And not only I. My wife saw them. And everybody else in the restaurant. The restaurant had very big windows facing the ocean. We ran to the window. And we watched these two objects flying and hovering over the ocean. And they looked like UFOs. Round, disc-shaped objects. And they stayed there for a couple of minutes. Sort of moving left and right and up and down. And then. Two Mirage Jets from the military came flying, roaring across the ocean.
7:06 And it was a display that lasted for, I don't know how long it exactly lasted. Probably maybe eight minutes, ten minutes, somewhere around there. These Mirage would come and they would just rise. And the Mirage would undershoot them. They of course have a relatively large turning circle. They would need to double. They would need to double. They would need to double back around. And these things were just playing the fool with them. Going up. But at incredible speeds. Nothing that our technology could equal. And this display of cat and mouse carried on for about, well, eight to ten minutes. And then they just shot off with a speed that is unimaginable. And disappeared. And the Mirage circled for a while. And then went back to base. And so I experienced that with my own eyes.
8:01 And of course then you start speculating. What are these? Of course the first thing that comes to mind. These are extraterrestrials. But the interesting thing is. It was a very famous spot for these sightings. And occasionally there would be something in the newspaper.
9:50 About a sighting and this and that. But very much like today. Just talk and nothing else. What is interesting is that some of the reports that I heard. Was that when these entities appeared. And you approached them. There was almost like a hypnotic activity. Yeah. And very often the entities when they appeared. Had an emblem on them. The emblem of a serpent. On their dress. They were dressed. Apparently. You know like we would imagine. An alien space individual. Would be dressed with these tight fitting clothes. Like in Star Wars. Sure. So very much the picture that you would imagine.
10:41 That was presented. But very interesting to me. Is that when these manifestations took place. The people involved would speak in tongues. So the experience is very similar. To a religious experience in a charismatic world. So having that kind of knowledge. You put the two and two together. Then you realize that perhaps. Or probably. Let me go that far. These are actually spirit entities. That are manifesting themselves. And what I'm talking about. Happened to us 38 years ago. Now. When I became. A Christian. And I'd moved from.
11:31 My work in the city. And I'd moved to a farm. We just settled at this place. In a very rural area. Of southern Africa. And there was a young pastoral couple. That had come to visit us. And all of a sudden. As we were sitting and talking in the lounge. These absolutely brilliant lights. Started flying around. Around our house. And we ran to the window. And we looked. And these things were just shooting across the sky. Like brilliant lights. And we watched these things for a while. And I said. You know. This is a demonic activity. Although everybody else would say.
12:19 This is a UFO activity. And the next day. The farmers reported. That these objects had landed. And where they had landed. There were burn marks. Obviously from the kind of feet. Or something that came down. And I realized. That this was. A demonic manifestation. I believe it was a demonic. Manifestation. And you know. That Alice A. Bailey. Says that the hierarchy. The new age hierarchy. The masters. And if you look at these masters. They all resemble the pictures. That we have of Jesus. And. That they would manifest themselves.
13:07 By the year 2025. Oh. So. 2025 is not too far away. It's not. And in the writings. Of the spirit of prophecy. We read. That this kind of. Activity will increase. And that there will be. Manifestations of entities. That. Say that they are. Relatives from the past. And if I. If I look at our news feeds. That we have. I watch a couple of news channels. Just to keep up. And abreast with what's happening in the world. So I try to. Have a balanced field. Of what I'm looking at.
13:54 So I try to. Have a conservative news feed. And then a very liberal one. And somewhere. Something in between. And on a daily basis. I go through. Three of them. Just to keep up to date. With what is the left saying. What's the right saying. And what is the. The nowhere's. In between saying. And it's just amazing. How many. Film stars. And prominent people. Are beginning to talk about. These manifest. Yes. I mean just today. In one of the news feeds. This morning. I was looking at one of them. And it stated. That this person's. Wife had died. But that. These manifestations. Were taking place.
14:40 In his house. And he was in constant. Communication with her. And that. The radio would start. Playing or. CD would start playing. Her favorite one. And would switch itself off. And switch itself. On. Again. Now. I know where that comes from. Because. In my own experience. I had. Manifestations like that. In my own life. We had many many. Demonic. Manifestations. When we were. In the world. Out there. Dabbling. In the occult. And some of them. Are not very pleasant. Anybody knows my. Conversion story. Then they will. See that. There were some pretty nasty. Demonic activities. That were going on. So. These things are not. Strange to me.
15:28 But. Trying to put them. Into. A prophetic picture. Where are we heading. Oh. What is the world. Moving towards. According to scripture. There will be. Legislation. That will be. Past of a religious nature. Enforcing certain dogmas. Etc. And. And. In order for that to take place. People must believe in something. And. It can be of a religious nature. It can be of a new age nature. These spirit entities. For example. Will encourage the world. To change their lifestyles. To become. More vegetarian.
16:19 And. When I dabbled in those things. Some of those entities. Would say. And they speak in. I have recordings. I listen to recordings. Of. Medium speaking. And. They speak in the voices. Of the people. That they. They are representing. Like I listen to. One series. Of a medium. Manifesting. The voice of Cecil John Rhodes. And. The way in which he speaks. And where he is. In the hierarchy. And. How high up he is. And how informed some of you are. And he'll speak about. My dear one. Oh and. He. They speak in such a.
17:08 Seductive fashion. To. To draw you in. And to tell you that you are on a higher plane. Because you are experiencing these. Manifestations. And you are chosen. Because you are supposed to be. An ambassador. For this kind of thing. And they would say. You know. You must cut down on your. On your annual product consumption. So that you can have a clear mind. To communicate with these entities. So you see. A complete counterfeit. Yeah. Of the truth. There is. There is. Truth and elements of truth. But based on the wrong premise. And so. I believe. That these manifestations will become more and more.
18:00 And for every mindset. There has to be something. So those that believe. That you are a product. Of the stars. That you are a grand creation. Or experiment by. Extraterrestrial. First she said. You know why I'm here. And I knew why she was there. Because I had struggled. Internally. For five years. These orbs coming. It talks telepathically. But she said. This is your burden. You got to bear. And. She said. Several things. There's going to be. Trouble coming. And we're going to wake the people up. And we're going to let you do it. We're going to use you. We want to help you. Introduce us to the world.
