00 Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? I did not have sexual relations with that woman. I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior. These allegations are false. Is society's outrage over infidelity like we've seen in the recent Coldplay kiss scam case really about justice? Or is it a symptom of something deeper? A hunger for real love? These viral scandals stir up righteous anger. Yeah, but are we sure that what we're doing with them is actually righteous? Or are we just feeding off of someone else's downfall for the thrill of the click, the vanity of the like, and the rush of online attention, and to be the quickest to have the story on someone else's feed? Maybe the stories we condemn and hate that we harbor in spreading lies and hatred are the ones that we condemn and hate. The hate that we harbor in spreading lies and hatred are the ones that we condemn and hate. them reveal a darker truth about ourselves. And maybe, just maybe, there is still time to correct it. I don't know what it's like to cheat or be cheated on, but I do know what it's like to go viral for all the wrong reasons.

32 I won't reveal anybody's name here, but decades ago I was exploring the trending topics on YouTube when I discovered a female that I had gone on a few dates with in college was trending on the top 10 YouTube videos for all the wrong reasons. And what is social media for? Well, to write what is on your mind. So I posted her video and told the world in my self-righteous tone how terrible this girl was and how I was shocked to see the whole thing here. Little did I know that I was still friends with her, and she saw the whole post. I immediately realized my error, and although I was hundreds of miles away from her by now, the seven degrees of separation really didn't exist anymore with social media, and I did a severe disservice for her. It was my sin on my part, but she turned the tables on me and got her revenge.

25 First, let me tell you. Do you remember? Before Jesus was born, how Joseph, in his social media, was going to handle his marriage with Mary? In Matthew 1, 18-19, it says, after Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together as one, she was found with child from the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man, went to social media and told all about his terrible newly wife. No, he didn't say that. And not wanting to make her a public example. Paul was minded to put her away secretly. In a small village, this would have easily been the perfect time to go to the public social media square of the city, and get the city to outrage against Mary to save Joseph's honor. After all, everyone thought he was going to marry a prostitute, or at least someone who was not in line with his desires to uphold the law of God.

24 Shouldn't he take the time to resolve his character in everyone's eyes? And place the blame on Mary? But it says Joseph, because Joseph was a just man, and not wanting to make a public spectacle of her, he decided to go ahead with the marriage, but divorce her secretly. Isn't that something? Now is cheating a bad thing? Absolutely. And I don't wish anybody to experience the loss of a close connection due to someone else's selfish desires. But Joseph? Knowing how damaging it would be for Mary to experience a sudden public outrage, decided it would be best to do this quietly. So it doesn't become a massive spectacle of gossip and hearsay.

16 So you see, this is how the devil works. Not only would it be sin for Joseph to expose her, but it also would be sin to spread it around. Why? Well, because this is not love. The word love has been used to describe the devil. It has been castrated as a word over the ages. Even as far back as 2000 years ago, we had three very different words to define love. But today, in English, we use the same word to mean many things. Some say love of the game, the love of your spouse, the love of food, falling in love, love conquers all, labor of love. We even use the word love in the score of tennis. The score is 40 love. People have redefined what love is and what it's not, but that doesn't change what love is. I would even go as far to say that Webster doesn't fully understand what love is either.

13 For that, you need to go to the Bible. According to Webster, love is a strong affection for another, out of kinship or personal ties or attraction based on sexual desire. Affection and tenderness felt. Felt. By lovers. Affection based on admiration, benevolence or common interest. Interesting that it focuses on the feeling of love, isn't it? Is that what true love is? True love is Jesus Christ. God is love. And as Christ is our example in all things, do you remember what Christ did for you to save you from your sin? His death on the cross was one of the most unselfish things he could do. He took the L for us when he could.

59 could have stood up and said i don't deserve this take me off this planet and destroy these unrighteous people after all did jesus want to die for your sins did he really in the garden of gethsemane he said as he withdrew from them for about a stone's throw away he knelt down and prayed saying father if it is your will take this cup away from me nevertheless not my will but yours be done jesus was so centered on his love for you that he knew that this was the duty of love for all of the world his character his trauma everything he went through he went through for you his anguish was so great that he started sweating blood all of this because he knew that he had a duty to complete his duty of love for the human race love is not a feeling love is a duty that brings a feeling in the future you have a duty to do to your neighbor what you would wish would be done to you you would never wish a public outcry against yourself you would never wish your sin to be exposed this is big brain thinking this is realizing that the whole rage that is happening around social media and this guy's public sin and girls technically that merely spreading it around to disgrace him is sin. And we need to be law keepers, not law breakers. This love of true love is owned by God. It is a real thing. To become a saint at the end of time, as Revelation 12 talks about, here's the patience of the saints. Here are they who keep the commandments of God and have the faith in Jesus Christ. To do this, we must become a part of the few that stops our ears when it comes to sin. Isaiah 33, 15-16 says, He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hand lest they hold a bribe, or who stops his ear from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights.

16 Proverbs 20, 19. He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets. Therefore, do not associate with the devil. He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets. Therefore, do not associate with the devil. He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets. Therefore, do not associate with the devil. He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets. Therefore, do not associate with the devil. Therefore, do not associate with the outrage of today's form of witch burning on social media is not righteous. And this type of mob mentality is exactly what we are seeing today with Andy Byron and Kristen Cabot. Both of them will regret that day for the rest of their life for sure. That's not a secret. They will certainly receive their just reward and they probably have received the majority of it already. Now listen to me on this. This is my main point. Collective outrage is a real problem. It's a real sin. We should not be encouraged by it even if it seems that it is righteous indignation. Righteous indignation is exactly what the ones who crucified Jesus thought they were doing to uphold the law. The law. Although Jesus was faultless, he still was a victim of the crowd mentality that should never have been considered righteous behavior. It reminds me of a documentary I did a long time ago called The Greatest Among Us. In it, I talked about a young man who caught a fly ball in one of the stadiums in one of the last innings of baseball.

41 Steve Bartman apparently deflects the ball. It lands at my feet and one of the guys I'm with picks up the ball. Pryor immediately turned to the umpire and pointed at the fan. The town went into shock. It was it. The ball that could have won the game. But not just the game. The season. Waveland Avenue's chanting. Now the bleachers are chanting. You know, now the grandstand's chanting. And that chant and the anger builds and builds and builds. I remember thinking if they don't get out of this inning, this poor guy is, you know, he's done for. I heard, you know, there was a lot of being screamed. There was a lot of we're going to kill you. We are going to, you know, this. And and, you know, at that time, we were like, man, this is getting kind of out of hand. It's just a foul ball. This is one kid against an entire city.

39 Someone ever convicts that guy of a crime, he'll never get a pardon out of this governor. Police and news reporters camped outside his house. That was that was when it really started getting surreal and bizarre around here. He was like, wait a minute. It was like they were treating him like he was a guy who had somebody held hostage. On the show, we finally got a call, some guy saying we have his address and we're going to go out and we're going to kill him tonight. I was on the air as a therapist trying to talk people off the ledge and be trying to calm people down. Bartman still lives in Chicago, but his lawyer won't say where he won't speak to any news agency or reporter. He has refused offers for hundreds of thousands of dollars to be on commercials or card games. There are even rumors that he can't use a credit card else his name be revealed. All of this due to collective outrage that happens in these tribal events. Imagine if that happened to you or what happened to me.

35 Remember that girl that I talk about at the very beginning? She took her whole subscriber base and had them come after me. They dug into my background. They dug into my family. They were looking up my all my social media. I had thousands and thousands of messages, comments. They were looking and speaking privately to my friends about things. I had to change my social media links. My email addresses. My I just shut down social media completely much like the two in the kiss cam had to do recently. I can't imagine in the day and age after this, maybe over 20 years later, dealing with a collective outrage of this size with the entire social media world that has spread around it. Think about all the spouses that have been cheated on.

34 Projecting their understandable rage upon these people, these two people, although I still admit they did very much wrong. They have certainly received exponential wrath from the keyboard cowboys and cowgirls out there in the Internet who want to find their lives and end them. We also have to remember that not all things are as they seem. While I have no doubt that Andy and Kristen are at fault here. There are some times greater things. That's. At stake here than we realize, such as the perfect example of Jesus Christ's execution. You see, Revelation explains that Satan is raising up a group of people that are willing to burn people at the stake in the name of God in the last days. And those people will be the ones who may not be perfect yet, but they are on the way to becoming saints of Revelation 14. Revelation 14 says here are the patients of the saints here. They who keep the commandments of God and have the faith. The faith of Jesus Christ, the Bible says that those people are the ones who won't see death because they have washed their character in the blood of Christ.

44 Yet some will be martyrs due to the collective outrage of the unrighteous. Revelation 1217 says, and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the faith testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1217 says, and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the faith testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1217 says, and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God and have the faith testimony of Jesus Christ. This story hits home for me. Years ago, I was falsely accused of immoral behavior by a disgruntled employee I managed, someone who rage quit and left a mess in their wake. The fallout was devastating, and the company's response severed my long standing ties with major business partners, close friends, medical professionals. Even today, some investors and board members still don't know the full truth. And I invite them, as Paul encouraged in scripture, to come to me directly to discover the truth. As Christians, we must remember that, just as in the story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife, sometimes it's better not to participate in what may seem like a collective righteous indignation rage because the story could be simply just untrue and we would be spreading a lie.

50 As we near the end of time, you will be accused of doing terrible things as well. And at times, they may even make you question your understanding of reality, your understanding of rules, consequences. This is why we must make sure that every part of our life is led like Daniel. The Bible says that men that were controlled by Satan decided to kill Daniel. Daniel 6 5 says, they said, we shall not find any occasion against Daniel except that we find it against him concerning the law of his God. This is why it even says in Thessalonians 5 22, abstain from all appearances of evil. Although not evil, even if it appears evil, we should avoid it, not because it is going to damage our connection with God, but because it can be used by the enemy and many other reasons. We might make someone else fall. After standing firm against the company's bizarre claims and ideas, I was confronted with the owner who outright told me that they were just looking for a reason to get rid of me. He even yelled it to my face. Ironically, he apologized later, but then I had having enough. I quit." By God's grace, some vindication came through the confusion though. One of the owners privately admitted to me that the company had been hemorrhaging over $100,000 a year due to donor mismanagement of funds. They were aggressively trimming staff to survive. And since I was middle management and the highest paid employee there, I was the first to go.

22 They went on to quietly attrition two-thirds of their staff over the next year. Sadly, it's often cheaper to push someone out through false accusations than to lay them off and pay unemployment. Eventually, many of us who had left reconnected and compared notes. That's when the full picture emerged. How leadership had misled the board and how the love of money had led to serious defamation and slander. I nearly took him to court. Sometimes I still wonder if I should. But my wife reminded me that I had not lost anything. Instead, I gained income. Freedom. And time after the incident. Although it was painful, my wife encouraged me not to seek legal action. But instead, to look at what the Bible says we should do in times like these. 1 Corinthians 6-7 says the very fact that you have lawsuits among you means that you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged, Paul says. Why not rather be cheated? It is better to be wronged by someone and keep silent, rather than destroyed.

27 Destroy them. Bankrupt them. Bankrupt their business and take all their assets. What has a man gained if he gains all of this world and all this stuff? But he loses his soul because he is not nice to his neighbor. He is not kind to them. Has he won that person to Christ? Will they forever hate him? It's better to step down and step away. It's a tough lesson to learn. But as in the case of love. And our duty to it, it is better to take the L than to fight. And maybe that's you. Maybe you have been wronged by someone and that the last thing you want to hear right now is someone telling you, don't retaliate or revenge somebody. Revenge is the Lord's. It hurts to be wronged and you are right to have that righteous indignation towards somebody or something.

21 Every fiber in your body may want to fight back. But remember God can give you that peace, and He passes all understanding. Let's remember that this is His people too. Even your enemy is the one God loves. Love your enemies. As God's people, we have to love our enemies. The Bible says in Ephesians 6.12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principality, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. This goes for people that have harmed you directly. Those who are in places of power. Those who may have not harmed you directly, but their policies affect you. When every fiber in your body says that you should reach out and do something without mercy.

16 Remember, God says, speaking to you personally, but go and learn what this means. I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners. And those sinners include you as well. You may say, I've never been in an adulterous relationship with God. I'm a good Christian. The Bible says that this is how His creation treats Him. He's not happy about it. Hosea 4.12 says, For the spirit of harlotry has caused them to stray, and they have played the harlot against their God. And James 4.4 says, Adulterers and adulteresses. Do you not know? Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Jeremiah 3.1 You have played the harlot with many lovers, yet return to me, says the Lord. God loves you so much that simply breaking any commandment is considered fornication with the enemy.

13 But God loves you so much that He still reaches out His hand to lift you out of your sinful mire. And by far, the best example of our collective attitude towards people is from Jesus Himself. When they brought Him the prostitute, naked, ashamed, completely without an alibi, they expected a righteous man, such as Jesus, to condemn her of her sin. But did Jesus react in rage? Jesus stooped down and with a finger wrote on the ground as though He heard them not. So when they continued to ask Him, He lifted up Himself and said to them, He that is without sin among you. Let Him cast a stone at her. And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last.

13 And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing there in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up Himself and saw none but the woman, He said to her, Woman, where are thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more. And this is how we are supposed to react to adultery. You see, using Christ's method alone is the only thing that's going to bring success. Mingling with men as one who desires their good, number one. Then showing sympathy to them, ministering to their needs. And finally, winning their confidence. And say, Hey, follow Jesus.

02 You also follow Jesus. No more of this hating thy neighbor, gossip, or brow-beating behavior that has been seen online. If you are a Christian, you have a job to do. Go and repent, you adulterer. Go and sin no more. If we all truly understood what love truly was, we would all be home by now. And when we get to heaven. We won't be focused on the books of history to find out what our neighbor did to us or what had happened. Our righteous indignation won't be at our former husband or wife or employer or employee or whoever it is we talk on social media about. It will be towards the fallen angels that destroyed those who we could have saved. If only we had stopped focusing on sin and started focusing on the one who can forgive those sins.

55 And that's who I want to fall in love with. Let's fall in love again with him.
