00 Major things are happening right now in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and I think it has qualities of last day events. So I want to talk about that today. What happened up there? Well, it seems like it's a very disconnected thing, but let me connect this real quick because I think you're going to be very interested in what's happening right now when I apply it this way. There was a woman that decided she would say something to ICE about what was going on, or perhaps she didn't. The details are unclear right now, which is making this a very politically charged issue. She was going to say something in ICE. She turned her car, tried to let them go by, and then when they surrounded her car, she turned her wheel and tried to get away, and they shot her, killed her. Terrible thing that happened. And right now people are saying, well, you know, they're allowed to use lethal force if they think that you're a threat. And there was a cop that was in front, an ICE officer that was in front of her, and he's the one that shot her through the windshield when she gunned her. Her car. She gunned her car with her wheel pulled all the way to the right, and it went around and hit some cars down the road. She was dead. She's a former credit union worker. She was a former poet. She was a mother. She's an ex-wife. And so I think we really got to think about this as Christians, though. And I think it's important not to be political about this, because I think it's only driving us. This situation particularly is only driving us into our tribes.
26 I've seen it on both sides. People that are very political, that listen to a lot of political commentary on the news. Listen, what you listen to is what changes you. In other words, by beholding you become changed. And so if you think, oh, this woman, she shouldn't have been there. Well, we're never going to know her intentions, really. That's the hard part here. And that's what has everyone up in arms and joining these different tribes that we call republicanism and democratism, the liberal and the conservative sides of things. I think it's just here to make people focus on two wings of the same bird. We've got to be very careful about how we approach this and whether or not we can use lethal weapons in this process. Now, the government, God gave the government the ability to use lethal weapons, because at Mount Sinai, we said that we would write the contract that God gave us. You know, obey these Ten Commandments. We said that we would do it. How do I know that? Well, because we signed it. It was ratified. Look up that term in the beginning of the Bible. It was ratified by the blood, and it was ratified to say that all that God says we will do, that includes force, keeping the law. But that's not the original covenant. That's not what God wanted us to do. God said, why don't you recognize that these are the Ten Commandments that need to be kept and then realize that you can't keep them, and I will keep them through you. I will fight your wars for you. I will use lethal force. I want to use hornets. I want to use hail. I want to use all these things if you would only submit to me, I will take care of all the troubles. But no, Israel wanted a king.
19 They wanted to use the lethal force. They wanted to keep and surround this law with rules that the Pharisees made. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . that Christ ultimately had to come and say, I come to show you the better way. So what is the new covenant that God created for us? It was actually the original covenant that he wanted for us that we ruined. How did we ruin it? We told him we would do it ourselves. We told him we would do it by our own works. And so when this happened, God said, I will make them a new covenant, one written with better promises. What is that better promise? That better promise is that God will fight our wars. God will keep our covenant for us if we only submit to him. So what does that mean for us as Christians with lethal force? And this is where I'm going to lose some people. But I know we're all, you all know where I'm going with this. And I'm not saying ice shouldn't use lethal force. I want to make that completely clear. But I am making it clear that at the end of time, when ice agents are after you, you're going to lose some people. Yeah, ice agents are coming after us. They're not going to become ice anymore, though. They're going to be called crest agents. How do I know that? Well, I went to ChatGPT and I said, you know what? If ice agents are enforcing the rules of the United States, what happens at the end of time when the government comes after the remnant that enforces the rules of the United States?
47 And ChatGPT gave me a very interesting answer. You see, in Revelation 14, it says that the remnant, those who keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, that's Revelation 14, 12, it will come upon a time where they are snuffed out, or at least they will try to snuff us out. The government will kill us because of what's going on, because of its own rules. How do I know that? Well, Revelation 13 tells us that, that there will be a time when, if we do not worship correctly, the government comes and kills us due to the religious laws that it forces us to do. That's terrifying. And so will there be an ice for the Christian? Absolutely. That ice will be called, you ready for this? It'll be called unity. No, it might be called unity. It might be called the Unified National Integrity Trust Authority. I guess authority is the Y in it, or maybe not. Maybe it's going to be called CREST. CREST stands for Compliance and Religious Extreme Suppression Task Force. It would be quite an extreme thing. If we followed the Bible, especially with a new religion that is being enforced and is visible and is making new doctrines. We talked a little bit about that in the channel already.
07 But what I think is fascinating about this is that this new CREST task force, or unity task force, it is coming. It is coming for us. And are you going to use lethal force on it? Would it be okay? Think about this for a second, because I think this is going to be a... a determining factor in your salvation, this question. Would you pull out a gun on your CREST agent in order to save your life? Is that righteous? Is that a thing to do? Well, I want you to think about this for a second. What would Christ do? Did Christ leave his sword on his hip? Christ didn't carry a sword, as far as I could tell. He didn't wield it. He didn't wield it. He didn't wield it. He didn't wield it. He didn't wield it. In fact, when Peter decided he was going to throw a sword, he was going to start cutting people's necks, he took his sword out, and the guy ducked and cut the guy's ear right off. And what did Christ say? Put that thing away. He said, those who live by the sword will die by the sword.
13 You don't want to die by the sword. You want to allow God to allow you to live as long as possible, to spread as much as possible. But Brad, what about the time when Jesus said we should take a sword? There's some Bible commentary that... There's some Bible commentary that is very clear on that. SDA Bible Commentary Volume 4 says in Matthew 26, 51 through 52, which is where this is found, it says Peter had wrongly construed the words of Jesus to mean that he actually intended the disciples to use weapons in self-defense. See Luke 22, 38. Peter's misguided zeal here displayed stands forth as a warning to God's witnesses today not to take drastic and ill-considered actions in promoting what they, at the moment, take to be the interests of the kingdom of heaven. Can you imagine if they say, oh, you know, those Christians, they're dangerous. What are they going to come after us with? You know, we've already seen that scenario. It's called Waco, Texas. A bunch of Christians stockpiling weapons, and what do they do? They rammed their safe room with gas and made them all bend backwards, because that's what this nerve gas does. Terrible, terrible situation. Now, I do believe that we as a nation should be allowed to own weapons. I don't agree with taking things away from people. I think there are bears, there are animals, there are major things out there. There needs to be a group of people that will stand up against a government that is doing things wrong. But at the same time, you really have to keep in check what you think is correct and what your heart feels should be shot at. You have to know that.
55 You have to not just have a heart knowledge of it, but a brain knowledge of it, too. Wouldn't it be better to be taken into custody and travel to the biggest judge to have the biggest platform in front of CNN that you could ever have to do the best witnessing instead of being killed because you have a gun in your hand? Take this for instance. If this doesn't convince you, try this. Desmond Doss never had a gun, but he wanted to honor his brigade, his group, his people, and he saved more lives than he destroyed. And God helped him do that. In fact, in the movie that was made about him recently, he said that the director said he couldn't put in everything because it was too supernatural what happened. It was too bizarre. It would have made the movie look like it was making stuff up, but that's really what happened. And so if you want to be used by God in the last days, you don't take people's life. And this whole idea of, well, it's killing versus murder and all that stuff, who cares? How easy is it for it to become malice once you have a gun in your hand?
13 And who's going to decide that? Well, the king of kings is going to decide that, but really, we as Christians need to have the biggest influence on society to make the best, difference in society. And I'm hoping you do that with me by not reaching out and using deadly force. Now, I use deadly force, and we see that terrible tragedy that happened here. It's a terrible thing that happened, and this place is not our home. And so I think that we need, as Christians, to not group up into tribes and start to think about what's happening here from the tribe's idea. We need to think about this from God's idea. Don't think about it from America first idea. Don't think about it from a Republican standpoint. Don't think about it from a Democratic standpoint. Don't say, well, you know, the cop was in the way. Or don't say, well, she deserved it because she was saying X, Y, and Z. What you should be saying is, how can I reach that person for Christ? What would have been the best thing to do? And how can I help that family that's in need right now? God bless you, friends, and I hope to see you next video.
28 God bless you.
