0:04 Welcome to the After Show, where we talk about all the strange stuff that happens in your normal life. This is a little bit different of a show. Usually on this channel, we talk a little bit about the stranger things that happen pertaining to UFOs, UAPs, the strange, the paranormal. But tonight, we're going to go into all kinds of different things. And Matthew is doing the presentations tonight. I'm excited to have both Matthew and Eric on the program. Welcome. Thank you, Brad, for having us on this evening. Eric, how are you doing? It's been a minute since you've been on.
2:33 It hasn't been that long. I'm fine. A minute's not that long. But how have you been in that minute? Great, Matt. It's wonderful. What do you got for us tonight, Matthew? I've got a couple of different topics for us to go off of. Namely, we're going to just start out addressing some questions. We're going to start off with a couple of comments, and that will lead into a conversation about Matthew Perry, of all people. We'll also go down a little rabbit hole looking at politicians and seeing what they have to say about God. And then we're going to conclude with a little look at a New York University conference that was held on a cult, which I think will be a nice follow up to a previous episode where we talked about Exeter University. And how they were offering a master's program in occult studies.
3:30 So we're seeing more and more academia just embracing this weird strangeness. New Age occult, everything you got is coming right out the doors of public universities. And yeah, I get that. So let's dig right into it. Yeah, anything but Jesus, anything but the Bible. We'll see all about that. But let's start with the comments. This first comment I saw, I got a kick out of because on our last program, Brad and I got into talking about fast food at the end. And we jokingly said, oh, there's going to be a $6.60 meal deal or a $33 meal pack to feed the whole family. Well, 15 minute ministry here clued me in. He said they have rolled out a $6.60 burger at Carl's Jr.
4:28 for the Diablo burger. So that seems appropriate. You know, if you're going to have that price on a burger, might as well be the Diablo burger. Now, I looked around because I wanted to find the commercial and I found different commercials that were at high quality, but they didn't include the price. I was only able to find it on this lower quality commercial. It looks like someone kind of recorded it off of their TV. But. We'll take a look at that because I just. Yeah, go ahead. Here we go. Do not attempt to eat this burger unless you like sweating. Get the pepper jack cheese and juice of the one time El Diablo single for $6.66 from the Carl's Jr. app. I don't know how long they can hold that up because I think inflation is going to just drive that out of the water here pretty soon.
5:20 Yeah, yeah. Well, that's just the burger, Brad. It's not the fries or the drink. Or it's just a single single patty. With a bunch of, you know, nice, greasy, spicy stuff. I know I can tell just how perverted my taste buds are because my mouth started watering watching that. And that's sad. I don't I don't even I'm I'm pretty healthy, by the way, and I don't even eat that stuff. But I don't know. There's something about it. There's something about anything that they put on the screen there that's just like, wow, I'm going to go out and buy one. You know, it's all plastic, right? All the food that you see in commercials, it's plants. How they get it to be so shiny. Yeah. And. If you see cereal, it's all Elmer's glue. There's no milk in it, so. Oh, man, that that is disgusting, actually. I think that the glue bothers me more.
6:13 Eric, if you were talking, I think you were muted for a second there. I was. Yeah, I was going to say that when you see people eating ice cream in movies, it's actually mashed potatoes. Oh, no way. Really? That's how it doesn't melt. Oh, yeah. It's disgusting, but that makes sense. It's ruining everything. Thanks a lot, Carl's Jr. For getting us to always shave soap. Madeline in the chat on the YouTube chat says that it was the sauce sauce is what makes your mouth water. That's probably true. I do like some good sauce on a burger. I got to say that does bring it together. What I what I thought was weird was, like I said, I was looking for this particular advertisement because I wanted the price. Where's the price? You got to show me the price. And so many of them did not show the price unless it was this, like I said, this off the wall one that was kind of like lower quality or whatever.
7:08 The whole thing about there was another commercial that I saw from it where it said, oh, the El Diablo burger, just tell your mouth the devil made you do it. And saying like El Diablo, too, we say it because it's another language. But in Spanish, it just it just means the devil. That's what it means. So it's weird. It's just like the equivalent of having a burger. That just is the the devil or the devil burger, you know, it's like, yeah, but because it's a different language. Yeah. Imagine if you saw in like a Spanish commercial, everything is in Spanish except for one part where they're like the devil. They go back and speak Spanish. Wait, what? You know, weird you out. That actually reminds me when I was OK, so I'm going to jump into my we were going door to door given Bible studies and and I came up we were in the absolute lowest of low.
7:58 It was a bad neighborhood and chain link fences, you know, nothing bad about that. But we went to this one family's house and we handed them a study guide and talked and they didn't speak the language. And so so we we handed them our study guide and they looked at it and they looked at it and it wasn't in English and they didn't speak English, obviously, because they ripped it up and they said, Diablo, Diablo, Diablo. And they threw it at us and we left. So we came back the next week with. A. A correct one, but I distinctly remember that because I remember my that we were going two by two and my buddy, he was scared to death to go back there. He said, they're going to do something bad to us if we go back into the knock on that door again. But obviously, I wish you know that this is what you're going to do, because I found the ad for the I think it was just the first Apple for six hundred and sixty six dollars.
8:58 And sixty six cents. Apple computer. Yeah, I put it in the discord and so it's not the first time you didn't like to know. I thought you didn't like to know what I was doing. I thought you liked the hot, fresh take. You like to be surprised. You're a surprise man. That's what I'm ambivalent. At least. Well, that was the yeah, that another time. And if anyone else in the chat, go ahead and drop them if you know anything else is an oddly priced thing. But yeah, the Apple computer, I forgot about that one. But you're right. And yeah, originally sold six hundred and sixty six dollars, sixty six cents. Why not? I noticed that recently during the one gas was above, I don't know what it is, what it is where you guys are at, but it was it's below three dollars now, which that's not a great thing, but it's better than it was. But there was a gas station near my house where the price lingered at three dollars and thirty three cents for quite a while, even though other prices were changing.
9:56 So maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I just noticed things like that. I don't know. Yeah, that could be it. Who knows you? The area you live in is like heavily Masonic. Yeah, I see. Oh, yeah. Is it really? Why? It just is. Eric, it's the South. I do have a Masonic Lodge beside me and I live in the South, too, so maybe that's just part of the South. I don't know. It's just prevalent, I suppose. Well, yeah, if you got any more of those weird prices or anything like that, those coincidences, go ahead and drop. Leave them in the chat or leave a comment if you want. Maybe I'll pick them up for the next episode. So the second comment that I want to address, I feel like it needs a little bit of context because it's actually going to lead into a kind of our first talking point, really. And in order to give that proper context, I've clipped a small portion of our last episode on Sunday where Matthew Perry was brought up.
10:52 So we're going to watch that clip first, and then I'd like to just read the comment afterwards. That way we can kind of get the full picture. Here we go. She further added, I know you're out there. I know we're not alone, and I would like to meet you one day. Ooh, kind of a prayer. I know. Just out there. Just kind of, hey, hey, out there. It reminds me of Bledsoe. Right? Bledsoe guy. Yeah, yeah, Bledsoe. And it's not only that. There's a lot of, well, you read people's testimonies, and they're not necessarily Christian testimonies, but it does become something like that. I mean, even so, Matthew Perry. Matthew Perry died recently, and there's been a big stir about that because he released a book before he had died, and he talks about this prayer that he had where he got down, and he said, you know, God, I know you're there, and you're listening. Make me famous.
11:43 You can do whatever you want with me, but just make me famous. You have to ask, is that a Christian prayer, or are you reaching out to another sort of entity? You know, I think we all know what it is, obviously. He's making a deal with the devil, a pact with the devil. But then he goes on to say, there's a second time that I actually prayed. And it was when I had substance abuse, and I prayed about getting clean, and then it happened. And it's like, so they can give you, it's the yin and the yang. They want to be the dark and the light. It's like, we can give you whatever it is you want, as long as you're not going to God for it. If you don't go to God for it, then we'll give you whatever you want, is the point I was making. Hans in the chat said, it's like Inception right now. Matt, I'm going to Matt's dream. Yeah, it's always. I was thinking that. I was thinking, someone joining right now going, why? Matt wants to be famous so much, he has to have two of himself on the screen.
12:40 We're all going to go back, and we're going to watch the episode. And then next week, we're going to do a clip of this show. And then this is going to be a, we'll see how many it takes before Rumble crashes. I can't breathe. There was that. Ironically, I was just going to say, I read an article looking at Matt Perry's stuff, where someone said that they had a great memory of watching Friends with him. So he was sitting early at the show while it was on. He's just watching himself. That's not the purpose of doing a clip, but it's pretty hilarious. Anyway, I don't want to derail this.
13:28 I want to go right into this person's comment. Don't move on from this. And I got something to say about it, because I completely missed something last week about this. And so I'm going to bring it up. So let me know when you're done with your spiel. Oh, yeah. My spiel is going to be the whole next topic. Oh, are we going on? Wait, wait. Let me say something. Yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Say something. So there was actually some more stuff on this clip right here. And I should probably bring this out next week. But I'm going to give you guys a little teaser, because I can't bring up the source yet. But towards the end of this clip, she actually goes on. And talks a little bit more about what she experienced. And one of the things she said was one of the things Roger Morneau said in the book Beware of Angels. It was his last book before he died. And one of the things he says in the book is, I didn't want to write this book.
14:18 But I felt that it was good information that you should know. And it's probably going to be my last book before he passes away. And what she said was that she hears high-pitched noises. And there was a high-pitched noise that she would hear when contacting these things or something like that. I've got to read the X article, and we'll probably go over that next week. But it was really interesting, because it's tied to this whole demonic experience thing. Let me see if I can pull that clip. Well, astral projecting, I know when I was dabbling with that, and this was years ago, but I got to the body-tingling stage where it feels. And I'm not sure how much of that is. Like, organic to the experience or how much of it, because I was reading about it beforehand. So I was like, I was already expecting that to happen. How much of it was like, okay, this is what I'm expecting that happens. So it's being given to me. But there is a, yeah, there are weird things start happening.
15:16 We have no idea how the brain actually works. And thus we, it can be manipulated in ways that we can't even comprehend. So sound is interesting. It's one of the interesting senses because of all the senses sound is the only. Only one where if you're listening to a sound, they can put an electrode on your brain and they can detect the exact frequency that you're listening to. Yeah. And that's, uh, so I do know that, um, and there's also other things associated with sound we've talked about before about the, um, resonant frequency of the human eye is 18 Hertz, which is infrasound, which is just below the threshold of human hearing. And typically when humans hear infrasound, they get like an ominous foreboding type of feeling because you can't perceive it auditorily. But you're, you, you'd feel something's off. And so there has been speculation that people, um, uh, I know, I know I'm going on a tangent here, Matt, I don't want to be realist, but, uh, you know, if you're hearing infrasound and it just so happens to be at that 18 Hertz, if your eyes resonating, you think about it, maybe it's causing a distorted vision or blurs or things like that.
16:22 So that coupled with an ominous feeling, I don't know, not saying that's ever, there's definitely demonic possession and things of that nature. So I'm not discounting that. I'm just saying. There's other things can happen also. No. So, so this is what she said. She said that, um, when she met her aliens, man, this wasn't supposed to be an alien show and I completely, I got to apologize to Matthew for completely de-brailing this, but this is interesting. Um, Han gets her wish for meeting aliens. This is, this is the, the, uh, section that I'm reading from eventually Han claims that she got her wish while taking a nap in a friend's car as she heard a high pitched sound in her ear. Then there were silver, uh, they were silver in color slash, uh, for a mouth and a little nose.
17:10 And she started seeing aliens and all this other stuff. And so, um, we don't really know how this works, but more, more note talks about how before an attack happened, because he had a lot of experience with this, he would always hear a high pitched sound. And I'll bring that exact quote out, uh, probably next week, but I, cause I don't have in front of me. I looked for the PDF of beware of angels. I couldn't find it, but something about a high pitch sound was unique and forever. And I think everyone that's watching this right now is now we're going to wonder if they're that little high pitched noise in their ears, demonic activity, because I, ever since I read that, I think that now too. So it might just be complete stupidity, but it might be something to it too. We don't, we don't know. Cause technology like, like Eric was, was talking about, I mean, resident frequencies, these things are, are energy. I mean, they can do something. They can do some pretty amazing manipulation and who knows?
18:03 Maybe they are able to, uh, um, uh, right. Things to the brain, just like they, at night you, they receive visions and stuff like that. So obviously some people are obviously more sensitive also, because ever since I was a kid, I could hear, like if I was in my parents or TV was in the basement, I could hear when they turned it off because it makes, there's an electronic like sound it's high pitched. It's just, I don't know, as you get older, it's, it becomes more difficult to do your hearing gets worse. And, but some people like, for example, those homes, those inexplicable homes, uh, Zug Island was the source. I grew up not far from Zug Island in Michigan, which is a steel plant. And um, there was like a home, it was called the, was it the Windsor home or the Detroit home or something like that? And only certain people could hear it, but it was those who could, they described it as maddening. And I think they traced it down to like a fan or something like that, that was just operating at this industrial plant and sound carries.
18:59 It was. Yeah. But it was like that, you know, it didn't even heard of it. It was just a private home. It was like a, you know, a private area. Yeah. And then the idea of like, they were, they were just the owner of the home. But then they, they, they were, you know, this is a private property and they had to do this, they had to do that. And then they started using this as well. Um, so that's really, it's really, it's a, you have a, I don't know, it's a really boring story, but I think I don't really know it but, um, it was a really interesting story in my head because, you know, he was on a plane with his wife, um, his first wife, of focus on is like okay if you're interacting with a we can have all kinds of weird experiences and some of it it could be demons some of it not but once you start getting into communicating with beings and getting messages that's when things start to get real you know and it's yeah and it's that's when you need to start comparing that's how you know if it's not demonic is you compare the content of the message with god's word absolutely so yeah the to the the whole thing about the humming uh and the buzzing that reminds me of uh some of the lyrics in stairway to heaven by led zeppelin which is a demonically inspired song when robert plant the lead singer lyricist was writing these lyrics it was just he's described as scribbling like mad like it was just like coming to him uh and he was like writing them out in one big go but uh part of that song is your head is humming and it won't go in case you don't know the piper is calling you to join him you and the piper being a reference to pan and his pan flute piping away which is the devil you know you know i just think it's interesting stairway to heaven it's a very weird song i think uh good fight ministry is there a good place to go if you want to check out some stuff on music the guy joe schimmel he seems to have a lot of uh information on that he's the guy who like played it backwards and said look at these hidden messages and they're so plain that it's hard to ignore and even the sound of it is so plain that it's hard to ignore and even the sound of it is so plain that it's not a great thing to do but that's something about it you didn't just do a lot of San Francisco so teach me if you need it so i can you wouldn't know that you're not then like nobody can teach you i'm a teacher i make a lot of remedial skills so i'm just gonna we're hearing from the sound engineers say things like yeah we don't know how you accidentally do something like this and have full-formed sentences backwards like you can't just do that but obviously if they think america is just like but obviously if you're being possessed they can play things backwards forwards to do whatever they want well that's what and you spoke of Roger Murnau and for those who don't know i mean he is somebody who in the early part of the 20th century um he was involved with actual satan worshipers who knew full well that they were worshiping demons like got him out of that in the nick of time but he mentioned you know experiences that he had one of them was going into a room and they were this is back when they were typewriters and he said the typewriters a room full of typewriters and they were typing themselves and going but instead of just going backwards like going back and then starting to type they would type backwards yeah so as they were going back so that it never stopped typing and so that you guys just reminded me of that it's like because a lot of these hidden like messages and songs they're inflection based it's like the there's one with barack obama i think it's praise if you play it backwards you can clearly hear praise satan or thank you satan one of the two and but it's inflection the words that he's saying if you said them with a different inflection you wouldn't have heard that and so demons definitely like to play with voices that's why they imitate people like the dead is one of the things we know that they do and they do that through voice a lot of times so for whatever reason they're good at it and so yeah i believe it entirely that there's demons are yeah not only writing the songs but imbuing as the person's performing they're changing those maybe probably even the person doesn't even know but the demon knows so wow that's interesting they should bring that up the reverse stuff because um sometimes i wonder if some of this stuff isn't necessarily meant for us to hear but more their own their their own messages you know for themselves saying hey we're gonna do this next we're gonna do that next and we just happen to see snippets of it through symbology and and reverse stuff all the time because apparently they're pretty good at it but well occultists having been encouraged to do things like talk backwards walk backwards read backwards and even listen to music backwards which used to be a lot easier when it was on a record because you could just play the record and reverse it some part that what do those into the collection cookie verse. And I forget if it was Anton LaVey who said that, maybe. It may have been Alistair Crowley himself, but definitely one of those people writing down the rules of how to go about living your life backwards. Anyway, if we can just get back on track, gentlemen, because that was great.
23:27 But I do want to address this comment. And I'm sorry that I couldn't do the clip and then the comment, because that's kind of what I wanted to do. But let's just read the comment, because we've seen the clip at this point. Let's just get into answering this. Okay, so Manasurge wrote, Matthew, it's pretty rare that I find myself strongly disagreeing with you. But I have to say, I don't think it was right slash fair for you to say that Matthew Perry sold his soul to the devil because he prayed and asked God for fame, especially to say something like that so soon after his tragic death. He even admitted that the prayer he prayed, uh, the prayer he later prayed for God to save him from his destructive addictions was much more real. I think most of us have prayed some pretty stupid slash ungodly prayers in our lives. Looking at my 13-year-old self asking God for a boyfriend. But that doesn't mean that we never changed, never had a change of heart later down the line. Now, maybe Matthew Perry did sell his soul, but I can't see that it's our place to say that unless, like some other celebrities, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, he himself, says it outright. I'm not saying he was a saint, but he helped quite a few people and did some good things because of the struggles he went through. Who's to say that he didn't have a genuine experience with God who loves him regardless of a selfish, short-sighted prayer? First of all, Man of Surge, as I said in the comment when I replied that I really do appreciate your comment. Thank you for respectfully disagreeing with me and laying out, really, a very coherent comment that I can respond to. And I felt it was so good that I needed to go into it on air and show some clips and get into the, uh, kind of the story. The first thing I want to get out of the way is I know that Matthew Perry, he passed recently. In bringing him up, it's not my place to try to, uh, insult his memory or, you know, people who were fans of his or, you know, have whatever kind of a connection to him. I'm not doing that to bash. I was using it as a comparison. And as you see in the clip, it was, we're talking about, okay, they're reaching out in prayer and it's this type of a thing. And I believe that people can pray sometimes believing they're praying to God or a God, and it's not the God of the Bible. So you mentioned that it, it wouldn't be right. It wouldn't be right to say that he sold his soul to the devil, but he himself had said something along those lines. So I would like to play this clip and then we're going to have a little, we're going to dissect it a little bit, but let's play this first. Tell me if you want to get into this real quick, but, but, but Matthew, can you even sell your soul? Yes, you definitely can sell your soul. I don't think Jesus was clear on it. I'm going to have to heavily disagree with you. You have no, I don't believe you can actually sell your soul.
26:34 Cause you're bought and paid for. So you can't do it if it's owned by God already. Sure you can. No, you can't. What you're selling is salvation. God. Yeah. But selling your soul, I may, I may be arguing semantics here, but, but go with me on this. Your soul, you, can you sell your soul away to somebody? Sure. Because it's a gift. Salvation is a gift. Christ's sacrifice. You can refuse it. Yeah. You can refuse it. Absolutely. I would like to just take it to the scripture. That's like, okay. Yeah. We are arguing semantics and usually this is something that I do. That's why I'm smiling. It's like God, yeah. God owns everything anyway. So like, you know what I mean? Like if you're giving gold to God, it's like he made, you know what I mean? Like gentlemen, I can let the word of God speak for us. We all agree. So everyone knows we all agree on this. I'm just trying to make a point. And you can't absolutely lose your salvation. There are some religions that believe you cannot and that we're all predestined to be somewhere. Someday, somehow, some way. But you can't absolutely lose your salvation. But what I'm saying is God owns everything and you're not, you're, it's his, whatever is his, it's his to sell.
27:47 Well, it's a free will. It's a free will. So that's, he, he doesn't interfere with that even though he could, but he doesn't. Well, anyways, Matt, you have a scripture. Matt's bursting with the scripture it looks like. Yes, gentlemen. If we turn to Mark eight. 35 and 30. Well, let's see. We'll go 35 through 38. For whosoever, this is Jesus speaking, who for whosoever will save his life shall lose it. But whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospels, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever, therefore, shall be ashamed of me and my work. And if a man is not ashamed of me and my work. In this adulterous and sinful generation of him also shall the son of man be ashamed when he cometh in the glory of his father with the holy angels. So Jesus is asking the question, you know, what, what will a man give in exchange for his soul? And what would, you know, and if you even gain the whole world and lose your soul, it's like, it's a terrible deal to make. But I do think it is a deal that you can make. It's a, it's a, by giving your worship over essentially is what's happening.
29:04 Yeah, I believe you can lose your salvation, but I think the Bible's making a point there that you can't give anything for a soul. So what is a soul? It's your being, right? It's like the entirety of your being. It's not like a—because some people have the idea that a soul is a little ghost, so you kind of like sign over the paper, and then— And then it comes out of you, and now you are in the grips of the devil of some kind, that cartoon. I agree with what you're saying. I just want to make that absolutely clear, because here's another example. Saul, right? Saul was chosen by God, and he lost his salvation. He's done. I mean, he lost it. He killed himself. So how can we say that, yeah, he's 100% anointed by God, taken, and given basically the keys to the kingdom? Wisdom.
30:02 Wisdom, and now he's decided to, hey, you know, I don't—I'm just going to kill myself. I'm not sure where you're going with that. So, no, what I'm saying is that how can you—you can lose your salvation, and that's an example of it in here. You can be anointed by God. You can be given— Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Basically, when you worship the devil, right, we know that as spiritual adultery. It's spiritual prostitution. It's prostitution. It's prostitution. And when you're prostituting— And when you're prostituting yourself spiritually, you are selling yourself. You're selling your worship for—in return for what the devil has to offer. Jesus, when he was summing up the commandments, and he spoke to the man in Matthew 22, Jesus said unto him, This is the first and great commandment.
30:55 So there is an aspect of giving your soul. And this is why I don't think you can necessarily sell your soul to God. Because it's not like something I— It's not a pie that you can like physically hand over. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah. But the point is, it's, you know, who are you? Like, we are what we choose. We are our choices. We are our thoughts. And so we either choose—God's word is very clear. There's two choices. There's Jesus Christ or there's Satan. There's no third road. Whom we choose, that choice affects how you think. It affects how you act. It affects how you speak. Just by the nature of— Just by the nature of the choice. And so that, like, who you're going to work to benefit, you're either going to do Satan's will or you're going to do God's will. So—and that's all bound up in it. It's not a—yeah, it's not a fungible commodity.
31:50 Yeah. I feel like we just, like— The soul is an NFT. We need to move on with what Matt and I have been kind of— It's great. No, I love it. I love never getting to my clip or my points. No, this is an important conversation, though, to have. And maybe we should pick it up another time. Come back a little more. Because I do want to talk about this. Because I believe you can sell your soul. You can give yourself over, mind, body, spirit, to the enemy in exchange for something. That is a transaction. That is a sale happening there. I don't necessarily think maybe you're sold for good. I do think unless you blaspheme the Holy Spirit, which is the sin that can't be forgiven. See, we could go down this road. We could go down this road all night, gentlemen. All right. We're going to sell the soul NFT already. This is what you get for having your face on the screen twice in one clip.
32:45 You brought this on yourself. It's a curse, obviously. Will you please roll my clip, Brad? You talk about this moment. There were these two moments that were 10 years apart. And at first, I think it was early on in L.A. And you fell on your knees. And you prayed to God to become famous. Because that would solve everything. And it's not lost on you that almost 10 years to the day later, you were on your knees again. Saying, God, please don't let me die. And I just want to know what was happening in the first prayer. And what was going on during the second prayer. Because that's sort of a span of important years. Well, what was interesting, the first time I prayed, and that was the first time. It was like. A prayer of like a 14-year-old.
33:37 And I was 24 or something like that. And I just read that some celebrity, I don't remember, who was in trouble. And I thought to myself, he doesn't care. He's famous. What difference does that make? He's famous. He has it all. And then I knelt down and said, God, you can do whatever you want to me. Just please make me famous. And two weeks later, I got friends. And God didn't forget about the first part. What do I want to do to him? Yeah. That kind of Faustian bargain. Very bad disease at the same time. And then deep into addiction, there was a much more real prayer to save my life. And that was answered. And that was answered, too, is what he says before the clip cuts off. So, Brad, what's your impression of that clip?
34:30 Can you sell your soul? Oh, we're not on that topic anymore? That's. I mean, I'd like to move forward. But if we want to, we can we can go there again. No, it's OK. Interesting. Interesting. So he wanted to be famous, huh? And he prayed for it. And that prayer was answered. No doubt. I mean, he says it was answered. He acknowledges that because he got his big role on Friends. There was a very specific phrase that Matthew Perry used in that interview. And I don't think Matthew Perry. It was a dumb guy. I think he spoke very purposefully and he chose his words carefully. And what he said was as it was kind of offhanded. But he said he referred to the prayer as a Faustian bargain.
35:21 Brad, do you know what? No, I have no idea. This I don't think you're alone. I asked my wife. I said, I just offhandedly. This is what it's like to be married to me. Hey, sweetie, you know what? A Faustian bargain is no. OK, yeah, I'm going to cover that on the show. So, yeah, I wanted to cover it because it you don't just say Faustian bargain, obviously, unless you know what you're talking about. So here is from Britannica dot org. Pull this up. And this is the definition of the phrase. I'm going to read it aloud for us. Faustian bargain. Faustian bargain, a pact whereby a person trades something of supreme moral or spiritual importance. Such as. Personal values or the soul for some worldly or material benefit, such as knowledge, power or riches. The term refers to the legend of Faust or Faustus or Dr. Faustus, a character in German folklore and literature who agrees to surrender his soul to an evil spirit.
36:26 In some treatments, Mephistopheles or Mephisto, a representative of Satan. After a certain period of time, in exchange for otherwise unattainable knowledge. And magical powers that give him access to the world's pleasures. A Faustian bargain is made with a power that the bargainer recognizes as evil or amoral. Faustian bargains are by their nature tragic or self-defeating for the person who makes them because what is surrendered is ultimately far more valuable than what is obtained. Whether or not the bargainer appreciates that fact. By this definition. Of Faustian bar bargain, and that he acknowledged that prayer was a Faustian bargain. He is recognizing it was a deal with an evil amoral power and it made good on the prayer. And that that last part of the definition, I think, is the most maybe relevant here, especially in context of a comment, whether or not the bargainer appreciates that fact.
37:35 And this is a comment. This is a common trope in, you know, because this this idea of selling your soul to the devil, I mean, it's a common saying and it appears all throughout fiction and things I saw Twilight up as the old Twilight Zone show had episodes about it. And it's like, oftentimes the person doesn't realize. And I think this actually happened with Faust when we were discussing it, Matthew V, until the devil comes to collect what they traded away or that that, you know, the seriousness of what they were doing. And so. I mean, we're not here to, you know, you mentioned we're not here to cast dispersions on Matthew Perry. We're also not here to judge his salvation or to, you know, to say whether or not he knew what he was getting into. I mean, from that prayer and there's a couple of scriptures that I'm going to read that kind of pertain to this. But hopefully, you know, he did develop a relationship with Jesus before he died.
38:27 And who knows, you know, that that prayer to get himself out of addiction that may have been answered by the God of the Bible. I mean, I hope, you know, we obviously. I hope for everybody's salvation, just as God does. But we have to be very careful. Like we talk about the UFO part of the show. And this is part of what's so dangerous is Satan loves to get people into things that they don't know what they're getting into until it's too late, until, you know, the door. And once the door's been open, he sticks his foot and it's very hard to get him out. It's not impossible. Jesus Christ can help you do it. But so there's lots of people who we have to be very careful of what what we ask for, who we're asking. And getting to the root of like, you know, we talk about symbolism at the beginning of the show and things like that. It's like it's worth looking into.
39:14 It's not just trivia because these things have meaning. I don't know how it works. There's some there's some kind of type of legal system and rules of engagement that we are not privy to. But we do know that they exist and we do know that we have a lot of control over the doors we open or the doors we keep shut. So, you know, the thing that well, I'll let you guys if you guys want to comment. I mean, that before I read these scriptures, but I just see in the chat there are some people saying that was Christine Lackson is saying none of us were there. None of us knew him. That was the first prayer. True. That was his first prayer. And I'm just making that point. I'm really I'm trying to address the the comment because I know that there are other people who agree with the commenter that it wasn't right or fair to say.
40:05 That Matthew Perry sold his soul to the devil because he prayed and asked God for fame. When the point I'm trying to make is Matthew Perry is defining that prayer for us as a deal with the devil because he is he is attributing that phrase specifically to that prayer. So for me, that kind of closes the books. I'm trying to make a fair judgment off of what he has said. It's not necessarily just, oh, that sounds like it. I'm just going to roll with it. I have to listen to what the guy actually has spoken and his own opinion. Of the prayer he prayed. So and again, just because he made that prayer and because, you know, that doesn't mean that he's eternally lost. There have been all kinds of people, people who are into legit Satanism and occultism and witchcraft who they repent and turn the thief on the cross.
40:54 The very last thing he did probably before he died was, you know, ask Jesus to remember him. He had salvation. So but this is why it's important before we die. It's like once you die, that's it. Your choices are made. So whatever relationship you have with Christ or don't, that's what you've got. And so this is why it's important to build that now for everybody. So this is actually what I meant when I said, can you sell your soul? Because what the idea is, is when someone says, well, he sold his soul. You know, there's a lot of actors, there's a lot of musicians that believe that when they sell their soul, they make a blood pact. They meet the devil or they go to the cross. Roads. I did a whole video on musicians going to the crossroads and selling their soul to the devil. They believe they can't step out of it. They believe, well, I've sold my soul. I'm done. And that's what Satan wants you to believe, because if he can make you believe that, I mean, think of all the people in the cult.
41:54 Why do they do these terrible things? Well, they think that if I if I do bad things to young boys, let the reader or listener understand. Or if I do some X, Y, Z terrible thing. then I, for the occult, then I have sold my soul, and I can't go back. There's no going back, and that's what Satan wants. You can lose your salvation if you stay in that state, but ultimately, Jesus paid the price for all our souls, and so we can go back, and you don't have to stay in that state. And so that's, that's why I brought this up. That's why I said, can you sell your soul? It's a, like Eric said, it's semantics, but that's my main point. Well, in that same way that I brought up earlier, it's spiritual prostitution. Somebody can physically prostitute themselves and then no longer do it, but that doesn't negate the fact that at one point you did do that. However, I mean, this is where the forgiveness of God comes in, that it is full, and that he can make you as a virgin, can make it so that you would never send it. It is, you know, that is... It's never happened, because that's his will, is to forgive you so fully that it's removed from you. So yeah, and that's just the point, I guess, that I'm trying to make is, yes, you can sell your soul, and at the same time, it doesn't negate salvation, but you can certainly sell the soul for, in exchange for something from Satan. It's all choice. It's what we choose is what we're going to get. So, and this, so, so that's one, you know, I immediately thought of, Solomon, because, so that's a, you know, a prayer, obviously, that Lucifer can answer is make me famous, right? Because what are you praying for with fame? It's not just wealth, it's fame, you want to be an idol. It's like that whole show, American Idol, you know, you want to be an object of worship or adoration. That's what being famous entails. It's not just money. This is a prayer that, or this is what Solomon asked for in 1 Kings 3, starting in verse 9, give therefore thy flesh and understanding heart to judge thy people that I may discern between good and bad for who is able to judge this by so great a people. And the speech pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing, and God said unto him, because thou has asked this thing and has not asked for thyself long life, neither has asked for riches for thyself, nor has asked for the life of thine enemies, but has asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment, behold, I have done according to thy words. Lo, I have given thee a wise and understanding heart, so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou has not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. And if you will walk in my ways to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen my days.
45:00 You know, God asked Solomon, what do you want? And if he had asked for riches, God would have given him riches because God, that's what God does. He doesn't lie and he doesn't, you know, he doesn't play tricks, but this is what we're supposed to want. Christ, even Jesus Christ said, not my will, but yours. Jesus Christ is part of a Godhead. In Acts 2, starting in verse 17, and it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh and your sons and daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams. And on my servants and my handmaids, I will pour out in those days of my spirit and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath, blood and fire and vapor and smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before that great and notable day of the Lord come. And here's the key, as shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. So, and just before this is when Pentecost happened. And the people, you know, the disciples started speaking in languages that were not their own. God didn't give them that. I just read something today. It was God didn't give them that so they could more easily conduct business or trade in their local area to make money for themselves. The purpose of these gifts that God gives us is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ so that people can be saved because that's what God's will is. All of this, like Solomon, he prayed. He didn't pray for himself. Sure. People came to see him. He was wise, and it benefited him personally while he lived, but he didn't pray for that reason. And obviously God knows the heart. We can't judge that. But these are the type of prayers that it's like, you know, you've mentioned before, Matthew, and this is a good habit. Like we're supposed to take, I think it was last week's or last show, you know, God wants us to express our desires to him.
46:49 But the end of it should always be, okay, I understand that this is what I want, but you have a will that is better than mine. And that's what God's looking for. Because we're either going to subordinate our will to sin or we're either going to subordinate our will to sin. And that's Satan's will or God's will. Again, there's no third option here. So personally, God's will is the, from what I've seen, God's will is the better deal. And that's another thing that always, even in my phase of life where I was like an enemy of God, that never made sense to me about an infinite soul training for any type of finite, just the math doesn't work out, you know? And yet people still, we're still trying to figure out how to do it. And I think that's a good thing. You would think that knowing that, it's not enough to know that academically, because it's like people still, we still, myself included, I'm tempted by things. Even though I know academically, this is not good for me. I don't know. It's... No, yeah, 100%. And I think, I want to bring out another point too, I think you guys were alluding to, that the character in which it was presented. Perry, and I'm not saying Perry soul to soul or anything, this is not my point, the point is that what we pray for transcends, maybe that's not the right word, is, focuses what, who you are praying to. If I were to say, I want to kill that man over there. Dear God, kill that man over there. Who am I praying to? Oh, obviously God. I said God. Which God? I mean, even if you say, hey, the creator, would that be a prayer that someone would pray to God? No, not at all. And so, I think God doesn't necessarily, and I may, I know, Eric, you're from a different background, I don't know what you believe about this, so I apologize if I'm stepping on your toe, but I don't think necessarily that God listens to, hey, if you didn't pray in this name, then you are not gonna, I'm not gonna hear you. I think he listens to, what's the character?
48:57 There's something beyond speech. Yeah, no. Yeah. I know what you're getting at. I mean, I try to pray always in Jesus' name, just because, you know, that's how we're taught to pray, and that name has power. Like, I want to make sure it's like, I'm one of those, dot my T, or cross my T's, dot my I's, as I want to put the stamp on it, you know, but no, it doesn't go, you know, your prayer doesn't go into the garbage can if you forget to do that, because there have been plenty of people, as we've covered, and, you know, Joe Jordan and his many hundreds of testimonies of people who have gotten out of UFO abductions by saying the name of Jesus Christ, oftentimes, they don't even know, what to say. They don't know Jesus. They don't have a relation. They just say, God help me. Roger Morneau said, if there is a God who cares for me, you know, help me out of this pact with Satanists, you know, essentially, he did. So yeah, you're absolutely, we're in agreement on that. I mean, because we're dealing with the infinite creator. He's the only one who can read the heart. He can read your mind, and Satan can't do that. And so yeah, he absolutely knows our intent, and he's close. You know, I once heard it described as God is far enough, away from each of us, that if we don't want him in our life, he won't be. But he's close enough that the instant we want to reach out, he's there. So, and we don't even have to, you know, form coherent sentences, and he knows. So, yeah, I think we're in agreement on that. Have we derailed Matthew again? This would be a good, no, no, actually, you guys are, this is the perfect segue, because this type of a prayer that you're talking about, I wanted to give Matthew Perry a fair shake, because I found this clip describing a second prayer. It's actually being, it's actually, it's being read by a pastor. See, I didn't realize that Matthew Perry, before I started doing this research, had this type of an impact on the Christian community. I don't know if it's a portion of the Christian community or the Christian community at large, but this is a pastor, I guess, working in this testimony to his sermon. So let's take a look, because this is Matthew Perry's own book, his own words.
51:00 The clip, please. You guys know the, you maybe read the article about Matthew Perry. Chandler Bing from Friends, you guys know the actor. What you may not know about him is he has a massive addiction to alcohol and drugs. Now, you talk about hopelessness. He's been through 60 detoxes, 15 stomach surgeries. He's been in and out of rehab like 16 times. Like, at what point do you just give up? And this guy presses on, and this is what he writes. On his lowest low, I hated myself. This was a new bottom. I didn't think you could get any lower in my previous bottom, but I had managed to do it. I was a desperate man. The drugs were in full flow, the drinking too. Things were so bad I couldn't even cry. To cry might have signaled that there was at least a semblance of a normal somewhereabouts, but there was nothing natural about any of this. So a bottom, the lowest point of my life. This is a classic moment for an addict, a moment after which... one seeks lasting help, but hey, what's this now? As I sat there looking into the kitchen, I noticed a crinkle in the atmosphere. Perhaps someone not at their bottom might have waved it away as nothing, but to me, it was so compelling that I couldn't look away. It resembled a kind of like little wave in the air. I had never seen anything like this in my life before. It was real, true, tangible, concrete. Is this what you see at the end? Was I dying? And then I frantically began to pray with a desperation. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying.
52:31 I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying. I was dying, gruel, frente a Tiago, with the inspiration of a drowning man, God, please help me, I whispered. Show me that you are here. God, please help me. As I prayed, the little wave in the air transformed into a small golden light. As I kneeled, the light slowly began to get bigger and bigger, until it was as big as it encompassed in the entire room. It was like standing on the sun. I had stepped on the surface of the sun. What was happening and why was I started to feel better and why was I not terrified? The light engendered a feeling more persistent. Then what was the Different pieces in shook body. Are you perfect and the most perfect quantity of drugs I've ever taken feeling euphoric now I did not get scared and tried to shake it off but there was no shaking this off it was way bigger than me my only choice was to surrender to it which is not hard because it felt so good the euphoria had begun at the top of my head and slowly seeped down throughout my body I must have sat in it for five six seven minutes filled with it my blood hadn't replaced with warm honey I was warm honey and for the first time in my life I was in the presence of love and acceptance and filled with an overwhelming feeling that everything was going to be okay I knew now that my prayer had been answered I was in the presence of God I started to cry I mean I really started to cry this shoulder shaking kind of uncontrollable weeping I wasn't crying because I was sad I was crying because for the first time in my life I felt okay I felt safe taking care of decades of struggling with God and wrestling with life and sadness all you being washed away like a river of pain gone into oblivion I'd been the presence of God I was certain of it and this time I prayed the right thing help whoa wait a second wow this is gonna be a fascinating conversation this is wow let me gather my thoughts someone else take it well this is where it kind of gets a little strange right because it sounds like this could be a genuine experience with God it's and again we're going to judge off of what is said in this book because this is his autobiography these are his words this is him detailing his own I'm not passing judge this is a disclaimer I'm not passing judgment on Matthew Perry's soul I'm not saying you're not going to see him in heaven one day what I'm going to say is just based off of this there was a lot of experience with God and I'm not going to judge him I'm not saying you're not passing judgment on Matthew Perry's soul I'm not saying you're not going to say there's a lot of and I mean yeah I think that God can do that but one of the hallmark things is is a repentance is maybe I am sorry that I abused my body and my mind with drugs that I hurt myself that I hurt other people that I hurt you I don't want to do that anymore I don't want to do this help me turn away from this lifestyle not necessarily I don't want to do this help me turn away from this lifestyle not necessarily just help me because I'm at a low point it's helped me to turn away from the things that have put me in this low point repentance he did mention it yeah so repentance essentially is is the one is one thing that I would have liked to hear if I if I had heard some type of repentance it would do a lot more to move the the ball into that court but at the same time I mean he mentioned there was a surrendering uh you know and you do have to surrender yourself to God it's well this is where we go into God reads the intent the thing that the thing that I keyed in on was the emotions because we do know that demons use emotions and emotional experiences in fact there was that uh South African um yes and if you guys want to look it up the uh he's a church of Satan I guess he founded the church of Satan in South Africa he's a high ranking member and he was doing a ritual you know that ritual to get more power and influence and he was confronted by you know beautiful angels are beautiful even the fallen ones they're not the horned you know monsters that they've tricked people into believing they are and he described a very emotional experience and um accepting or things like that's one that's one of the things
56:52 like like you mentioned Matt the emotion and then the the just accepting yes God accepts us and he will accept us if we if we turn to him and repent but he doesn't he's not going to tell us that we meant for that wasn't the message of Christ he's not going to tell us that we're you know find the way we are because we're not we're sinners and we have to recognize that and acknowledge that so um that's just and again hopefully you know like you said we'll see him in heaven and he did at some point have a genuine conversion that's you know what I'm going to choose to believe and hope for so but this is just oh go ahead Brad no no I I think it's fascinating and I don't want to interrupt you guys because I I know Matthew probably wants to say something about this too but and I I agree with you I think the hallmark of this is the emotion oftentimes I see a lot of these uh Arab nations they have these uh these Revelations of Jesus and when Jesus appears to them I think some of them are real because they Jesus appears and they are just like uh I repent I am sorry I I I please forgive me and Jesus says to them I forgive you I forgive you and they they they're they're just beside themselves and they become Christians after after serving in their their religion and so I think really the hallmark of this what where you can really tell and what what wasn't said in here is words and so it's really hard to tell what is right and what is wrong but I am leaning towards this is this is it might be a dangerous manifestation uh but I I would I would I just curb my opinion until I know for sure so I guess I guess the way we could turn this around is if you're you know if you're watching this at whatever point and you are uh looking for help and you're looking for God call it to Jesus Christ specifically because Satan is able to you know manifest himself as an angel of light he's able to do many things but if you are actually calling out to the Creator the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob Satan is powerless Satan cannot you know there are things that God allows him to do and there's things that he doesn't allow him to do and he he cannot interfere with you trying to get to your Creator so wherever you are in life if you know if you're if that's something you are even thinking about exploring and looking for yeah call out to him Christ directly so something I want to explore real quick and I I don't think I have a full study on this so this is half baked I'm just I'm just warning everyone but um when when when Satan we know from Revelation he's going to impersonate Christ and so wouldn't that confuse everything I mean dramatically if you wanted to call out to Christ call out to Jesus now who you talking to because Jesus is apparently Satan on Earth or is he in Heaven right and so he's already given us but the thing is Christ has already given us what we should look for and what his coming is going to be like right so we're supposed to like is the thing and this is why we can't like we're not even trying to judge we can't judge and we're not trying to judge people's conversion experiences or you know because ultimately that's for god to judge and we don't know we have limited information um so somebody you know crying out to god for help that might be the first step but once we do that it's like okay get to know him start reading his word right start asking him to help you understand his word talk about his word with others and when we do that eventually we're going to find the clues that he's left for us and once you start really getting into it it's really obvious um he tells exactly what's going to happen how his return is going to look and how it's not going to look um you know both in the gospels and then you look at daniel and thessalonians it's like christ is coming in the sky he's not he says specifically people are going to say i am in the in the i forget exactly the exact wording so don't uh anyways he don't um don't go out to them if they say i'm in the hidden room or i'm in the desert it's not me so he's telling us there's going to be false christ there's going to be false prophets that will mislead any or many don't be deceived he's telling it so in order to why would we he need to say that well there's going to be deceptions people trying to deceive but he's if you look in his word which and that's why it's such a gift it's like it's an amazing collection of books that is once you read it it's like the how it carries through time and that's i actually watched um a video recently about how that's god's signature
1:01:35 you know as how this carries through time and he you you can't get help but get the impression this was this information is coming from some uh source that is outside of time because it the the the prophetic you know all the way going to christ and then going to our day and it just is harmonious and it carries and the only way to see that is to look for yourself other people telling you you know i have my reasons why i believe god's word is the truth and it's from him but that's because of what i did so if you're watching this go look for yourself go reach out to god for yourself and get in his word for yourself and if you're open with him and you're trying to find him he will let himself be found by you matthew someone's asking in the chat and this is a you're the uh cme on this now cme stands for the uh what does it stand for the um the expert why i can't remember that that's why i couldn't remember it i was like what is c me subject matter expert on this um uh julianne in the chat asked did perry ever claim to be a follower of jesus christ i looked i looked into that and it had him listed as christian with his religion whenever i looked for information on him but i never saw matthew perry actually talking about jesus christ he always talked about his praying to god and his experience with god i don't even know that he ever labeled himself as a christian but i think he's a christian i think he's a christian this is just my uh from the research i've done over the past two days i couldn't find that specific instance instance maybe it's in the book somewhere maybe it's in some interview that i haven't seen so i don't want to totally rule it out but from what i've seen in my little dive into the world of matthew perry i didn't see him talking about jesus christ at all well that kind of leads into the next segment doesn't it it does it really does because we're going to talk about politicians now i just want to say before we move on from it mana surge thank you for the question i hope that this has kind of been a nice little uh exploration of the topic thank you for watching and really thank you for the comment i love all the comments so leave a comment below if you're watching now uh and i i will read through them and we might just address it and make it a segment on the show who knows uh we're moving on to the next segment now because this whole idea about god and just an ambiguous god and not ascribing uh this god really the character that you find in the bible we have to start asking okay well what are you talking about so we're going to look at two presidential hopefuls one from the democratic side and one from the republican side the first one is uh robert kennedy jr rfk and if we can pull this up this is a tweet that he put out all right here we go brad pull it on up it's just a tweet there we go he said condescending matthew i'm scared it was gonna be a clip because you're like all right here we go i'm like don't play the clip please it's an image that's what i was worried about i'm sorry i didn't mean to sound condescending that was nervousness come on come on come on brad let it be the right thing so he says god talks to human beings through many vectors wise people organized religion the great books of religions through art music and poetry but nowhere in such detail and grace and joy as through creation when we destroy nature we diminish our capacity to sense the divine so that caught him some flack uh people were kind of seeing that and like what do you mean especially because they're you know there's a good portion here of more fundamental hardline christians in the united states so when they see something like god talks to human beings through the great books of religions they're gonna go hang on a second no god's word is the bible you can't just incorporate these other religions into the picture really the type culture that god talks to human beings understand that the holy book of christ from the day of day Squarespace is one of the most true and ancient basis there's noなんin controversial texts but it is some sort of academic methodology of this sort.
1:06:03 And that's not how it works. What do you think, Brad? Well, I think it's interesting because there's so much truth in here and just a little bit of twist on it, and that's a hallmark of Satan. So tonight's word is hallmark. I'm going to use that a lot, apparently. Like the last sentence here, when we diminish nature, we diminish our capacity to sense the divine. If he's talking about nature like an actual nature, you know, out there in the leaves, then I agree. God made the beautiful areas, and if we diminish that and go to our concrete genitals, it's going to be harder to see him. So I love that idea. But does God speak to us through every single religion? Well, let's think about this for a second because I definitely believe that God is the God of the Bible, and that has the truth representation of him.
1:07:01 And I also believe throughout time, as we've seen, the Dark Ages, which were when the Catholic Church hid the Bible from the people and killed them for using it, we went through this time period when it was very difficult. God was still around in many religions, though. And so I'm talking specifically about Christian religions right now. I'm not talking about other religions that don't talk about God. I'm going to get there. And maybe I'm monologuing too long, but we're progressively getting out of that. You've seen that. That's why there's so many religions out of here because God's... He left it out and pushed them out and said, okay, Baptist, yeah, you're right. The Baptist is... There is a truth about immersion. There's a method from the Methodists. There's, I mean, all throughout history, we've had these religions and they step by step found truths in the Bible that were hidden by, unfortunately, I'm going to call it the Catholic Church for a long time in the Dark Ages.
1:07:57 I don't think it's unfortunate. I think we need to be bolder, just not to completely derail this, but... Anybody who's carrying the claims to carry the torch of the Protestant Reformation, we should be calling out Roman Catholicism. And to be clear, not individual Catholics. The system of Roman Catholicism, because it is pagan, and it does line up with the beast spoken of in Revelation and the Antichrist spoken of in the Book of Daniel. And that needs to be... We should never shrink back from calling out Satan's work. So I don't think we need to be timid about it, Brad. Wow. With the bold statements. Yeah. And oftentimes we get called out. Let me put back on maximum here. We get called out for saying, well, you just hate Catholics. No, that's not true. The Catholic religion, like Eric said, there's some dangerous stuff in it.
1:08:49 And Matthew, I think you can probably speak to that more than we can, but we'll let that go for a second. But the other religions. Did the other religions come from God? God. I think that's the question. And we don't have... I don't have a lot of Bible history, or excuse me, a lot of history to completely understand where all this spurred from. But what is true is that some religions fell terribly, just like Catholicism did. And other religions were developed from like paganism, Druids, and all this other stuff. So for me, I don't have the exact answer to which religion... Which religion absolutely came from Satanism. I don't know.
1:09:36 But I do know that there is a religion in the Bible. And I claim that one. So that's my answer. Well, check this out. In Matthew 8, Jesus has an interaction with a pagan Roman centurion. And this has always been pretty fascinating to me. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. And it's because he's asking for his servant to be healed, basically. I'm sorry. I want to give more context to this. But the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof, but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this man, Go, and he goeth. And to another, Come, and he cometh. And to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. And when Jesus heard it, he marveled, and said to them that followed, Verily, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
1:10:40 So that response to that Roman centurion, he was just like, no, he understood Jesus' power and authority better than the people that Jesus was coming specifically to fulfill their own prophecies. Because he says, you don't need to come to my house. I am a man with earthly power, and this is what I can do with my earthly power? You, being a divine person, can simply just will him to be better and he'll be better. I know that's possible. So you could just do that. And not only that, but he says, I'm not worthy that you should enter under my roof. There's like an uncleanness that he feels like, I don't even want you there. Maybe it's because he understood. He'd been following pagan gods his whole life. But in that moment, it reminds me also of the centurions who stood by Jesus's cross when he died. And there were just the miraculous signs that shook the earth.
1:11:32 That one of them remarked, surely this man was the son of God, not the son of the gods, as he would have been raised to believe in. You know, I imagine he was stationed there in Judea for a long time and had gotten to know their culture and their customs. But he looked at Jesus as he had expired on the cross and said, this man is the son of God. And that's such a profound statement that, you know, just hours ago, he was being led by a crowd up to that hill to be crucified because they rejected him as the son of God. So in Jonah, you know, the guys on the boat, it they were crying out when they were in the storm. They were crying out to their all each man to his God. And then once, you know, Jonah went overboard and, you know, the sea abated, they made vows to the Lord, like capital, you know, capital L, the God.
1:12:31 And so that's a yeah. That's an interesting name. And that also happened with name. And also when he got cleansed of leprosy, he's like, now I know, you know, and that's that's the thing. And that's why you're talking about conversion experiences. You never know. It's different for everybody. Some people, it's like a dramatic conversion experience. Other people, it's gradual. But once you come to God, you know, and you understand. And I just want to make a point of, you know, the reason, like, you know, there's the warning against deception. Why? Because there's going to be deceivers. Well, in Revelation 18, starting for in verse one. And after these things, I saw another angel come down from heaven and having great power and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon, the great is fallen, is fallen and has become the habitation of devils and the hold of every foul spirit and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird for all nations have drunk the wine of the wrath of her fornication and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies and I heard another voice from heaven saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins and that you receive not of her plagues.
1:13:51 So the fornication it's talking about here, Babylon, the greatest false religious system. The reason this warning is why does this warning warning necessary? Because God has people who can be believed that are in these religious systems like Roman Catholicism or one of the many various sects or denominations or cults or whatever you want to call them. There's true worship founded on God's word and a personal relationship with him. And then there's worship founded on doctrines of devils and traditions of men. He's saying, come out. Right. So we can't just take the you know, when we when we talk about things like this, it's not that we're attacking people. It's this is what God's word says. He's addressing this to us and to anybody. And even us, you know, it's up to us to examine each of our own beliefs. And, hey, am I believing what God's word says or am I going off? You know, that's something each individual has to do.
1:14:43 But these warnings are not for nothing. There are people, you know, there are deceptions. There are false systems of worship. There is an antichrist. This is real. There's a Satan, the devil. All of this is real. Now, that's that's the end of it. No, I totally agree. Sorry. And we we're having some issues in my house right now where the dog is trying to get out of a room because someone closed the door. It's making a lot of noise. And so I'm trying to get the dog out while having a show here. So if anybody can hear me inside the house, can we get the dog anyways? So, well, I just want to add a comment from Rumble. This is fascinating. Wait, wait, wait. Before you do that, I want to acknowledge a super chat. I've been I've been holding off because I want to I want to get that real quick.
1:15:34 Sherry says, I appreciate you all the work you do spreading the good news, praying for you and this channel. Thank you. I appreciate you, Sherry. That's how we continue doing this. And I didn't sorry I wasn't trying to interrupt you, Eric, but I wanted to get to a story just before I got to the fence now before I got to a normal comment. So, yeah, go for it. No, it's just Star 45 and Rumbles. He said. And my family used to be a Roman Catholic as a child. I remember my grandmother had to get special permission from the church to have her own Bible. But she was forbidden from reading the Book of Revelation. She was told she would go insane if she read it and that only the priests could read and explain it. Yeah, as read for anybody who's in the for those of you, if you're watching on Rumble, we have a tradition of pop flags when things, you know, you see things on the show or something, a little red flags because that's just yeah.
1:16:31 Whenever somebody says you can't read something, but I'll tell you what it says, whether it's the Bible or a politician or what. Yeah, that's that's flags. Right. Maybe you have a comment on that country. Well, I wonder I was going to say, I wonder what country they're from, because I have heard from different people growing up Roman Catholic in different countries. It was Italy, someone from Italy, and they were saying that their grandmother, when he was studying the Bible on his own, told him, what are you doing studying the Bible on your own? That's not your responsibility. You need to go to your priest and your priest needs to tell you what's in there. And she wasn't necessarily, I guess, forbidden outright from owning one. But it was just instilled in her that it's like, yeah, I'm not touching the Bible. I can rely on my spiritual father here on Earth to guide me into truth.
1:17:28 So that being said. Columbia, yeah, that makes sense, because it's other some of the other countries. You know, I think in the United States you wouldn't see that. And maybe in the U.K. you wouldn't see that. But there are definitely some countries out there that are stricter about enforcing the the interpreting scripture for yourself, because eventually you're going to read something in the Bible that's going to directly contradict Catholic teaching and you're going to go, wait a second, what's going on? Because that's what happened to me. It just ended up being, do I trust God's word or do I trust this organization that's telling me that God's word says something it doesn't say? It clearly does not say. And even more so, they say that it's their traditions are above scripture. They do it in a tricky way, because if you go to the official answer, they'll say it's equal to tradition, but then you keep reading into it. And it's like when there's a dispute between sure with the tradition, because the tradition is the correct like derivative.
1:18:30 I think. So I'm freezing. I see that, but what I'd really like to do if I'm back and I'm being heard is I would like to see RFK Junior explaining what he thinks God is. If we can do that soon, because I think it'll he being a Roman Catholic, professed Roman Catholic, let's see what he has to say in this next clip, gentlemen, if we may. Yeah. Absolutely. Meanwhile, I want to get to Wendy's comment, too. Here we go. Let's go to the next clip. That's not it. What is your relationship and what is your understanding of God? Who is God? Most philosophers would say we're inside the mind of God. And so it would be impossible for us hunters and actually what God's form is.
1:19:24 And then the question is, how do you start believing in something that you can't see or smell or hear or touch or taste or acquire with your senses? And Jung provides the formula for that. And he says, act as if you fake it till you make it. And so that's what I started doing. I just started pretending there was a God watching me all the time and kind of life was a series of tests. And there was a bunch of moral decisions that I had to make every day. And if I make a whole bunch of those choices right, I maintain myself in a posture of surrender, which keeps me open to my higher power, to my God. And when that when I do those things right, so much about addiction is about abuse of power, all of us have some power, whether it's good looks or whether it's connections or education or family or whatever. And there's always a temptation to use those to fulfill self-will. And the challenge is, how do you use those always to serve instead God's will and the good of our community? And that to me is kind of the struggle. And when I do that, I feel God's power coming through me and that I can do those things. I'm much more effective as a human being.
1:20:33 That gnawing anxiety that I lived with for so many years and my God, it's gone. And that I can kind of like put down the oars and hoist the sail and the wind takes me and I can see the evidence of it every day of my life. Someone needs to autotune him. Poor guy. Well, he's got a spasmodic dysphonia, I think is the term for you. Are you talking about his voice? Yeah. It's yeah, it does sound rare condition, but you get used to it when he's talking. But yeah, he's not I don't he's not experiencing any pain. His voice is just like stuttering and jumping around. Yeah, basically, that was his his idea. And he invokes thoughts of Jung, Carl Jung, the philosopher, psychiatrist, psychology guy who just came up with a lot of strange stuff.
1:21:31 It's funny that he mentioned fake it till you make it was a union thing because I didn't know that. Eric and I have had conversations before where he asked me about fake it till you make it and I was like, I hate that phrase. I don't think you should be faking anything. You can do things confidently and you can admit when you don't know something or you're not proficient in an area and you can still be confident in doing that. I think that's fine to say, yeah, I just I don't know or whatever, but I don't know. Fake it till you make it just seems like. I don't know, it plays into that whole I hear it a lot in the manifesting community as well, where it's like, yeah, your intentions are being outpoured. And as it's being manifested, you got to just live like it's already happened. You know, just just just make it look like you're successful. And eventually you will be because that's you're pouring your intentions into it and you're playing the part. So. What do you what do you guys have to say about that?
1:22:30 Some good things in there, but also mixed with the. You know, obviously, esoteric, like the whole, you know, reality being inside the mind of God, I happen to kind of agree with. I mean, I agree that we can't comprehend. There's a lot of God that we can't comprehend. You know, I agree with what he said about, you know, we can either use our strengths and our gifts for, you know, selfish reasons or we can use it to do God's will or also included. And that would be helping others. It's just the whole thing is, you know, what we what we didn't hear is just as important as what we heard. Where was Jesus Christ and any of that? Yeah. And that's kind of a theme is when you hear people. And this is, I think part of the segment is we have to be careful when we are talking about God, you know, as Christians with somebody. Is it the same? And they say, oh, yeah, I believe in God. Is it the same God? This is like this thing is like, which God are we referring to? The music was so peaceful and it sounded really like he had found something that he really enjoys. I thought it was all about was complete works.
1:23:36 It's not like a works based religion where you had to fake it till you make it. And then you do it according to what you think is is correct. There was no mention of the Bible or a moral or a moral authority. It was you have a moral. I don't know what that means, who decides that moralist. And so hopefully let's assume for a second that he took the moral from the Bible. But the Bible is not. It's not a book about works based scenarios. It's a book about love that leads to works. And there's a lot of assumption here. But let's I mean, then we can have to assume, OK, let's hope he's talking about those works that come from love, as Paul talks about faith that works is dead. But at this point, you're getting to a lot of assumptions and you got to start questioning and going, did he really is he on a treadmill, not going anywhere, but he thinks he found what he's.
1:24:33 He's looking for, because that's what works based salvation is about. So. That's my thoughts. Yeah. Great point, gentlemen, I appreciate that. So that was, yeah, RFK Jr. Democrat. Now, on the other side of the aisle, we have a man named Vivek Ramaswamy, and he is openly Hindu. So he right now and correct me if I'm wrong, Eric, but he's pulling pretty well with the Republican primary. I mean, we all know that Donald Trump of the people who are Trump, he's pulling well. Right. Is he second at this point in the race? I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if I think I think you some polls had him. Yeah, it was he was ahead of DeSantis. I don't know. Right. So very popular and could possibly be a front runner. If Donald Trump wasn't on the scene, Vivek gets confronted by one of his potential voters and they ask him the question.
1:25:38 I'm assuming this this clip came from NBC News. They just posted this clip without posting the man's question, just Vivek's answer, very frustrating. So I was trying to find something with the man's question. They just give his answer. I'm like, this is a news agency. Like, come on. What am I? Anyway, we're going to just assume based off of the context that the man asked him about Jesus Christ and his views on Jesus Christ, so this is what Vivek had to say to this man. So I'll be very honest, it's not a hard question at all. So in our faith tradition, Jesus Christ is a son of God. I know that is different than saying he's the son of God. But that is my view of Jesus Christ. He's got our family. Do we worship in churches? Yes, we do. Is that compatible with our faith? Yes, it is. One true God. In many forms. So that's different. And I understand that is the only way to heaven through Jesus Christ.
1:26:32 I think that that is the path that is a path to heaven is the way we look at it. But belief in God is what we say. Belief in the one true God. That's that's the way I look at it. Well, I want to I want to hear more of that. Wait, don't don't cut that off. Well, that's that's all we got. Take it up with NBC. Yeah, I would like for him to be pushed a little more on these questions because he does talk a lot about God in his speeches, and it's not just plural gods, as you would expect from a Hindu, I mean, they do believe there are many, many gods, I think over a thousand gods. But he says God, singular God, God, God. So when asked about Jesus Christ, well, we think he is a son of God. We think he is a way. But that goes directly against the Bible. And he's saying he's talking to this man and telling him, yeah, no, our two faiths are compatible here and they're not compatible because one of them has it reminds me of Oprah once said on her show and it was a big controversy, but she said Jesus is a way.
1:27:32 And is not the way. And a woman stood up and said, no, that's not what the Bible says. So what Jesus himself said, he said, I am the way the truth in the life. He didn't say I am a way. So it's a it's an important distinction and it's just one word. You just swap it out. And it's like you can hear all the other words and say, oh, they sound so good. But you just got to pay attention to what what's really being said, because this if you're going to claim that Jesus is one of one true God with many different faces and Jesus is one of the faces of the true God, but in addition to that, you have all of the other faces of God being valid. This is how we get to one world religion, people. This is how we come under one umbrella. Well, not we point us included, but, you know, the world in general. Go ahead.
1:28:27 Well, you just made me think that ecumenism is kind of like communism, like the only way or this whole equity. You can't. The only way is to bring everybody down to the same level. So, you know, in order to have a one world religion, you have to take Christ from where he actually is and bring him down with everybody else. And there's four. I mean, you you kind of paraphrase John 14, 16. You know, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. There's four other scriptures I wanted to hit on. John one. And this is interesting. So. Brad and I recorded an episode about Jehovah's Witnesses and U.S. UFOs and this verse. So John one one in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God in the Jehovah's Witness New World translation. They say the word was a god, little G.
1:29:19 So you just change that, you know, a couple one word and a case of a letter. You can change doctrine. Right. And the same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him. And without him was not anything that was made. And so and then going down to verse 14. So this connects Christ directly with the word and the flesh. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. Here's another. So here's another verse. Colossians two to eight. But where lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
1:30:06 That seems pretty clear to me. But now, again, in the New World translation, it says the fullness of the divine quality. So they changed those two verses because Jehovah's Witnesses don't. And this is a side tangent, but they don't believe that Christ was divine. He was created being. And this is the thing about his name, Philippians two, starting in verse five. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. But he made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore, God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow of things in heaven and things in earth and things under the earth, that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father and so on, Ephesians six or sorry, one talks about that.
1:31:19 He has been above every principality and power and might, dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but that so the idea that if if as a Christian we really believe that means Christ's name is above Buddha, it's above Allah, it's above any of the Hindu gods or any of the pantheistic religion, that if we take this for God's word and it means what he says, then this idea is incompatible. And that's what's so interesting about all these people who say that they confess a belief in God, but never mention Jesus Christ. And that's very odd if you believe that Jesus Christ's name is above all names. I got I got nothing to say. That's fantastic. I appreciate everything that you've commented on. That's fantastic. Yeah, I think that ties it together nicely. So we'll jump on over to that number one that we had mentioned, the the untrumpable Donald Trump, who he he has an interesting view on God.
1:32:29 And I've mentioned this before in previous broadcasts, but he sat down and he was giving an interview and he said that he never repented for anything in his life, that he had felt no need to repent. And that is a bit of a theme tonight because we're looking for repentance. We know that that's a that's a mark that we recognize our sinful state and that we need a savior if we don't feel like we need to turn away from sin and we need to be saved from that sin, then what do we need Jesus for? So this clip right here is a question being presented to him after the fact. He has said at this point that he felt he hadn't had any need for repentance. And this man is bringing it up and trying to get a little more information out of him with it. So let's just watch it and see what Donald has to say. Let me ask you, because one of the potential attack lines has to do with an answer you gave to Frank Luntz months ago when you said that you've never asked God for forgiveness, do you do you regret making that remark?
1:33:27 No, I have great relationship with God. I have great relationship with the evangelicals, in fact, nationwide, I'm up by a lot. I'm leaving everybody. But I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try and do nothing that's bad. I live a very different life than probably a lot of people would think. And I have a very I have a very great relationship with God and I have a very great relationship with evangelicals. And I think that's why I'm doing so well with Iowa. Yeah, I think even the guy asking the question doesn't get it. He's not coming at it from a theological standpoint because he's trying to get him on a moral thing. He's trying to basically degrade his character because he's saying, you know, oh, you've been you've been good now.
1:34:20 Now you're acting good as if he's going to bring up some past scandals or something that's going on. That's not the point he should be hitting on. It should be Donald. If you say you have no need of repentance and that you're a good person, that you do good and you like to believe you're good, then you're you're not a Christian. You're not relying on Jesus for salvation because you believe you're good. You believe that you already have what it takes to receive eternal life. And just to stress how important important repentance is, I have a couple of verses here from Acts 319. Peter is addressing this crowd and he says, repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. This is it's like after he explains that they have crucified the son of God and they've gone against the the prophesied messiah.
1:35:15 He's saying, like, step number one is to repent and be converted. John. 119, he says, if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, second, Peter 39, the Lord is not slack concerning his promises. Some men count slackness, but as long suffering to us, we're not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And finally, we have in Luke 13, three, Jesus saying, I tell you, nay, but except you repent, ye shall all likewise perish. This that is how important being repentant is in your Christian walk and repentance is more than just saying I did something wrong to repent. It's an action. It's a turn away. And you got to ask God for help in turning away and ask him to heal you and to make you a new creation that just again, it's not it's not that works based.
1:36:15 You know, it's not you're doing the work so you can, like, cancel out something in the in the sin column with something in the good column. And there's an equation that it's it's the relationship. And if you had that relationship, you're going to stop. It's like, OK, I care about my relationship with my creator and he doesn't like this, because it's different for everybody. You know, so I'm going to try this and maybe you need help. It's not something that maybe it's something you struggle with. Paul had the Apostle Paul had struggles until he died. You know, you keep asking for help. And when you you know, if it still sticks around, you keep trying. You know, you don't just give up and say, well, I guess I'm just going to God's just going to have to live with this sin. So, yeah, it's weird because it's counterintuitive to us and our human minds to talk about works. It's not about the works, you know, that I think that's one of the the principles in the in the New Testament that gets misused and misrepresented a lot.
1:37:13 It's the faith without works is dead. And some people go I know there's views in the extreme of, oh, well, you know, I'm just once saved, always saved and I don't have to do anything. And then other other people are on the other extreme of like, oh, no, I just do all this stuff and like that's like Roman Catholicism, isn't it? Matthew, like you go to confession, you take the sacrament and you just do the thing, however many Hail Marys and Our Fathers and you're good. It's like, well, no, it's in between. It's both. But there and the recognition that the works mean, you know, I forget, was it Jeremiah or Isaiah or righteousness is as filthy rags. That's you know, that's what it is. Any of us work in judgment against the law based just solely on our work, just idle words alone, we're going to be called into. You account for every idle. I'm done. It's just me personally. Like, that's it. Just idle words.
1:38:10 So we need Christ's sacrifice. That's the only thing that does it for us. We have to acknowledge that and ask for that and accept that in order for it to be granted to us. Yeah, 100 percent. I don't know if you mentioned this verse, Matthew, but Matthew three. Sorry, Romans 310. There's no one righteous, not even one. And that's quoting another scripture. And Romans 715 is what you guys were referring to. And he's when Paul talks about saying, I don't understand what I do for what I do. I do not for me read that again for what I do to do. I do not do. But what I hate, I do. What he's saying is you make the tricky one to quote. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree.
1:39:03 The law is good. So he's going on saying, I do what I don't want to do, but I want to do what what the law says. And we can only do that through the loving mercy of Jesus Christ and having that relationship with him, which is what you guys said. Very good. Right. So that is Donald Trump. And I think that that kind of goes well with this another. So I'm going back and forth from both sides of the line because I want to show that we're being impartial here. This is not a politically. Charged one way or another, not conservative or liberal, Republican or Democrat. This is a this is a world problem. And in this one, we're actually going to hear from the mayor of New York, Eric Adams. Now, I borrowed this clip from a show called What's Up Prof. I recommend that you watch that because I really enjoy it.
1:39:58 I found the hour and something long footage and I was sitting through it. And I just said, OK, there's no way I can chop this up. And I remembered that Martin Smith had actually done that already. So we're going to watch their clip. This this I'm borrowing it directly from them just to give credit where credit is due, but it's a great clip, so I'm very glad that they put it out. Let's check it out. We know in government many times it said that one has to separate church from state. But we have an administration that doesn't believe in that. We have a mayor who you will hear from shortly, who is definitely one of the chosen. He believes. And what the faith based community can do in partnership with government, he knows that all of the great initiatives throughout the course of our United States, if you look back at our historical.
1:41:05 Plights and the goodness that has happened as a result historically in our country has always been driven by faith based initiatives. The creator had the creator has so many times to leave me, so many times to abandon me. But she has not. Wait, what she has not. Is when. We took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools. Ingrid was so right. Oh, tell me about no separation of church and state. State is the body. Church is the heart. You take the heart out of the body, the body dies. I can't separate my belief because I'm a elected official. When I walk, I walk with God.
1:42:00 When I talk, I talk with God. When I put policies in place, I put them. When I speak, I put them in with a God like approach to them. That's who I am. And I was that when I was that third grader. And I'm going to be that when I leave government. I am still a child of God and will always be a child of God. And I want to apologize about being a child of God. It is not going to happen. And so today we proclaim that this city, it is a place where the mayor of New York is a servant of God. Thank you. Continue to pray for us. Wow. Wow. Brad, how did that strike you? Well, am I did I hear that right? Because I thought he said that he called God a she. I thought that was interesting. Is that what he said?
1:42:57 He did. OK, that's where does he get that from? I mean, I'm not trying to, you know, pick on little things, but it's kind of a big thing. And it's a big thing because the Bible says it. The Bible calls God a he. He has a very paternal idea in here. And I think it's interesting before you. Anybody that hasn't seen the show loses their pants over this. What is interesting about that is that oftentimes in paganism, the God is called a she because there's not saying one is better than the other or anything like that. It's just interesting that this is what has been chosen, not by humanity. And so when he calls the God he's talking about a she, it makes me think he isn't studying the right material. That's my thought. Well, that's 100 percent accurate.
1:43:54 You think of the representation of one of the one of the representation of Satan as a Baphomet, which is hermaphroditical, and there's other hermaphroditical gods in... There's other things in pantheons, but you're right. I mean, if we're going to be sola scriptura by scripture alone, in nowhere in all of the Bible is God referred to as a woman, period. So that's just reality. Well, maybe I can shed some light on this. Maybe I can illuminate you, Bradley, with this next article. I was trying to lead into it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We got it right here. We got them dead to rights. All right. So this is an article. It's from the New York Post, and it was published about a month and a half ago. Mayor Adams, the guy we just heard talking, named Master Mason in secret Freemason ceremony at Gracie Mansion. Oh, let's dip into this article a bit.
1:44:51 All right. See what's going down next. Mayor Eric Adams and city police commissioner Edward Caban were inducted master masons in a secret ceremony at Gracie Mansion Saturday that was left off his honor's public schedule, the Prince Hall Masonic Temple, also known as African-American Freemasonry, posted the photos of the event on its Facebook page over the weekend and celebrated Adams ascension brothers and sisters. Today, we held an occasional grand lodge with the Grand Line officers and brothers for the first time in history at Gracie Mansion. The poster at NYPD chief of department, Jeffrey Madry, was also raised as a master mason during the ceremony. The Prince Hall Masonic Lodge has multiple connections to the New York City Police Department. Kevin Ward, Ward, Ali Wardley, the head of NYPD Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, is one of the Lodge's officers, a grand junior warden.
1:46:02 And the NYPD Square Club is also a recognized Masonic organization. Adams is a retired NYPD captain. And then we'll just look at this picture and then I want to know what you think. So here he is. This is Mayor Mayor Adams himself, shaking hands with the man on the left, I guess he's conducting the ceremony. He's decked out and Masonic regalia. The man in the middle is Caban. He is the NYPD commissioner. And here they are at a ceremony. Wow. What do you think, Brad? Does it make a little more sense? It's making complete sense now. And I I'm looking up I'm going to find this right now, trying to find out if Masons call God a she or if they just accept anything. So I just have to acknowledge that there's a higher power. I think it might even say that a little later on.
1:46:57 Yeah, they hate atheists. But yeah, they yeah, you can't be. Well, yeah, I think it's in the next one. Just keep reading. I'll read the article a little more because I think it's actually in the article. Maybe, maybe not. No, maybe it doesn't. OK. Yeah, no. But all you have to do is just acknowledge a higher power. It's kind of like AA meetings. You just have to say there's a higher power and that's good enough. The result of this special occasion resulted in New York City's mayor, the Honorable Eric Adams, police commissioner Edward Caban and chief of the department, Jeffrey Madery, being raised as master masons of Facebook Red. Other brothers elevated included Assemblyman Gary Pretlow. He's a Democrat from Mount Vernon and Tony Hebert, who works in the mayor's Office of Community Affairs. The Freemasons are the oldest male fraternal organization in the world.
1:47:51 I've touched on this before. I see this in a lot of different articles or things mentioning Freemasons. I disagree with that because currently the oldest existing male fraternal organization, at least outwardly, is the Roman Catholic Church, because it's an all male priesthood and it's, you know, you can define it as a fraternal organization. That's what it is. Famous members, so now we're talking about famous members of Freemasonry include the U.S., include U.S. founding fathers, including George Washington and Benjamin Franklin, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman. Gerald Ford, Winston Churchill, Ivory Berlin, Oscar Wilde and King Edward the Seventh, among many others. Some famous Prince Hall Freemasons include Andrew Young, Count Bassey, Henry Blair, Nat King Cole, W.E.B. de Bois, Edward Kennedy, Duke Ellington, Medgar Evers, Alex Haley, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Jack Johnson, Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, comedian Richard Pryor, retired congressman Charles Wrangel, boxing legend Sugar Ray Robinson, Reverend Al Sharpton, Booker T.
1:49:11 Washington and the former governor, David Patterson. So at the end of this article here, you just see all of these kind of famous names listed, and it's almost to me because Freemasons do carry this, I think, just weirdness to them. If you're just a secular person looking at it, you don't know the spiritual implications. It's a secret society. It's kind of weird. But then you have this list of these distinguished people and you say, oh, wow, I didn't know. You know, like Richard Pryor. Oh, he's a comedian. That guy made me laugh. I've seen some of his stand up. It can't be that bad if Richard Pryor is a Freemason through Prince Hall Masonry. But you can see there that there's this ceremony and the purpose is to raise people in government as well. And it's a very wide variety.
1:50:01 Of people who are involved in Freemasonry. Wow. Yeah, this is something and a little bit worrisome. That's that's that's amazing. Well, this goes on just a little bit more, Bradley, because I have one more article here from The New York Post about this topic, and it's regarding that NYPD commissioner. And some of his activities, recent activities. Well, let's look at it. So knowing he's a Freemason, NYPD commissioner Edward Caban quietly in Qatar as department braces for possible unrest, this is published on October 13th. And we know that the attack, the Hamas attack on Israel happened just several days prior to this article being posted. So he's on a little trip in the area when this is happening. And if we'll just go, I'll read a little bit of the article. Didn't want to read the whole thing just to give us a gist of what's going on. NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban quietly traveled to Qatar late last week for a conference and has yet to return to New York City, even as the department braces for potential unrest Friday related to a global day of jihad called by the Hamas terrorist group's ex-chief Caban, who sources say is visiting the Middle Eastern country for a two day Arab tourism security forum, was noticeably absent from Thursday's city hall briefing where officials discussed the NYPD's decision to ramp up patrols out of an abundance of caution.
1:51:38 The overseas trip by the city's top cop was unannounced and multiple city council members told The Post they only learned Caban was in Qatar Thursday evening when the first deputy commissioner, Tana Crissela, casually mentioned it during a security briefing. Yeah, he's in Qatar. This is one heck of a time to be in Qatar. This is one heck of a time to be out of town. One council member told The Post, if I were him, I would have been on the first plane back home to one PP, the lawmaker said, referring to the NYPD headquarters in lower Manhattan. And there he is in the middle. And he's at like this racetrack in Qatar meeting with these people. And yeah, it's like, where's our leadership? It's funny because when people say, oh, you know, if people are involved in this grand conspiracy, don't you think? More people would know, don't you think it would be leaked and all this sort of stuff?
1:52:32 His own council members are sitting at a meeting waiting for him. Like, why is the commissioner running late? Oh, he's not running late. He's on the other side of the world in Qatar right now. Yeah, he's on a two day trip. Wait, what do you mean? I didn't know that. And why is he gone when we're about to face all of this unrest? So there you have it. This type of stuff can happen right under the noses of elected officials. If you know, you know, it's that simple. And I feel like we're you know, it's funny. We're doing like a parallel show of the show that you mentioned. What's up, Prof? And they just did a show about Babylon, the great and a lot of the stuff that we're talking about. And I'm thankful to them and to call them or a shout out to them because they put up on there, I have a copy of Morals and it's a PDF copy. But Morals and Dogma, which is a foundational document in Freemasonry.
1:53:24 And this is what it says. And it's kind of a long time. I'm thankful for the PDF because I can search for words. Masonry, like all religions, all the mysteries, hermeticism and alchemy conceals its secrets from all except the adepts and sages or the elect and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be misled, to conceal the truths which it calls light from them and to draw them away from it. Truth is not for those who are unworthy or unable to receive it. Nor would pervert it. So God himself incapacitates many men by colorblindness to distinguish colors and leads the masses away from the highest truth, giving them the power to attain only so much of it as it is profitable for them to know. And then it goes down. So masonry jealously conceals its secrets and intentionally leads conceited interpreters astray. So this is just because somebody is a Freemason.
1:54:28 The thing is, because you mentioned about how viewing it from a secular standpoint and I've heard testimony of somebody who basically they were a lawyer or something like that, and they joined a lodge just because they thought it would help advance their career and help them make connections and things like that. But in masonry's own document, a foundational document says, no, they deceive and they lie to people who are not judged of the lower degrees. So there's people who are part of lodges. You know, I don't know how many active Freemasons are on the books, and that's just one organization. There's, you know, like Knights of Malta, there's Skull and Bones and then there's different organizations all under this umbrella of Babylon, the great right under Satan's leadership. But most of the people at the lower levels, they don't get into this. In fact, I don't think you're even supposed to be able to read this unless you're at least what, a 31st degree.
1:55:22 I have to double check on that. But it's it's you're progressively 39th. You get. I don't know if it's 30 or sorry. Twenty ninth. Twenty nine. Yeah, I think it's like it's like a certain initiation step because it's like twenty nine, thirty. Yeah. And then and that gets into what you were talking about is that or I think it was you, Brad, who was talking about how, you know, you think you're so far gone that you can't repent. It's like the initiations for each progressive degree get more and more depraved to the point where at some point you're drinking out of a human skull or what you believe to be as a human skull. So and by the time you get to that point, so much you look back, oh, God can't possibly forgive me. Yeah, he can. And he has forgiven Freemasons and Jesuits and anybody who's repented. The Apostle Paul held the coats for the people who stoned Stephen. And he became one of the most ardent evangelists for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christ can forgive, but we have to turn to him. So if you're watching this and you're in one of these organizations and you want to get out, Jesus Christ can get you out. Amen. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. And just a fun fact, too, is with initiations and this type of stuff, it's just a hallmark of anything you talk about.
1:56:36 Skull and Bones, they some of their stuff has leaked. Apparently it's some like really weird, I guess, homoerotic acts that they perform with one another as part of their initiation process and that type of humiliation and degradation, essentially what they have is blackmail on you now. And it's like, well, you know, we're all kind of in this together. There's an honor among thieves type of a thing where, you know, my dirty laundry, I know yours. So let's help each other out rather than pull each other down. Even in the military, there's things like when you become a chief, there's an initiation in the Navy, at least that when you become a chief, it's essentially a hazing process. You know, they keep keep you up all night and run you back and forth. And it's all based off of the commands as well. It's which means like it's ship based. Like when we had people who are being raised to chief, I think it was two people on board our ship during deployment, if I remember correctly.
1:57:32 One was from our division, but they were raised to chief. And I remember it was done in the dead of night. And I just happened to be up working in one of the spaces and they were in the space next to me and I heard screaming and yelling and banging all sorts of stuff. What is going on? And I'm like, oh, wait, it's the chief initiation. That's so weird. You know, you'd expect it to be the military. Just like step forward, you know, first class buddy officer. You are now. A chief in the Navy. No, it's not like that. Like, they're going to keep you up running around in your underwear, dumping water on you, you know, like what you would really. That's what you don't have to do that. But then you're not considered a full like chief. You know what I mean? Like, you'll have a reputation like, oh, you didn't go through the initiation. Like, because they can't stop the advancements of what in the world? These are humans in your military should look like a line ceremony.
1:58:23 Yeah, it's it's command base, too, like I said. So what I mean? If you have a satanic command in place, I imagine your initiation ritual to get pretty nuts just right there on the ship under everybody's noses. And wouldn't that bond you pretty well? Anyway, yeah, that's that's the secret societies. And that that kind of concludes the segment on politicians. Gentlemen, any final thoughts on that? Or can I move on to this last topic that I'd like to discuss? Yes, yes, I can. OK, let's go to this final topic. Here we go. We are going to the final topic right now. The College Fix. This is an article from The College Fix. NYU hosts conference on occult humanities, spiritual magic, and it's magic with a K.
1:59:19 So we're OK, then. Yeah, it's OK. Presentations included the spiritual magic of real dolls. And witch houses, the magical homes of the matriarchy. Sorry, that one. That's ridiculous. Witch houses. OK, whatever. New York University platform discussions and trainings in magic and witchcraft at its recent occult humanities conference. The website for the sold out conference defined universal occult concerns. As often, including a belief in some sort of magic, a longing to connect with an immaterial or transpersonal realm. And a striving for inner knowledge, refinement of the self and transformation of one's consciousness, if not one's physical circumstances.
2:00:10 The College Fix reached out to John Beckman, NYU senior vice president for public affairs and strategic communications, twice over the past two weeks to request comment and to ask whether presenters were practitioners of the occult, if any ceremonies were performed at the conference, and whether the promotion of the occult conflicts with NYU's status as a secular university has received no response. Is this just like a group of five kids that say we're at a conference or what is this? No, it isn't. It's it's a sold out event. It was exclusive and it was smaller scale. I believe I read it was a two hundred people, possibly between one hundred and two hundred people were were in attendance. So it is a little bit of an exclusive type of a gathering. But it's it's academics embracing the occult directly. And that was an interesting question that they had to ask, because I think I found the answer to it, whether or not they were practitioners of the occult, but they definitely are.
2:01:17 We're just going to get that out of the way. But if any ceremonies were performed at the conference, I found some interesting stuff that we'll get into in a minute. But first impressions, gentlemen. Eric, what do you think about this? Why did I go for why am I going for an MBA if I can have a master's in occult or a degree in occult science? I feel, you know, it's a joke. Why? Why engineer anything when you can just manifest it into reality? Yes. Why? What this reminds me. Oh, I'm sorry, Brad. No, no, no, no, no. I just why are we teaching this? I think I think that last sentence was was probably the most interesting to me. Why are we teaching this at a secular university if we're not even teaching Christianity? What's going on here? Right. And you're not going to get a response. Just shut up. That's that's basically the answer is don't worry about it. What this reminds me, though, is of is what we see in the Book of Daniel.
2:02:15 When Daniel and his friends are taken into Babylon, there is this higher learning that's centered around the occult. When Nebuchadnezzar has a problem with his dream, he calls together all these learned people and they're defined as sorcerers, magicians, astrologers. He brings them all. And these people have gone through extensive studies and courses that are laid out for them so that they they can become experts in their own fields. And I believe that's what Satan wants to return to. He wants there to be these courses available in universities the same way that you could go and take an engineering class instead. It's just here, you know, grab your textbooks and start an occult studies 101. And they also kind of put humanities in there as if like, make it more like, oh, no, it's like a humanities study. It's not like a religious thing.
2:03:07 And that's probably how they're skirting the line. Brad. Oh, OK. Curious about. Yeah, that's interesting. I want to I want to address real quick a question. I don't want to derail this at all. Christina asked a random question. Who is Walter Veith? I believe and I think you guys are probably better apt to answer that for her than anything else, because we mentioned that previously while we were talking. So I thought it'd be good just to say, who is that? It looks like Sarah in the comments just hit it pretty good. Walter Veith is a professor, an ex-Catholic, well-learned Bible believing Christian with a lot of information, quotes, history, et cetera, who gives presentations involving what's going on and has gone on. Yeah, I think he lays things out. But he's like a former professor. He's in South Africa, also a pastor in the Adventist church. Yeah, I mean, I mean, I don't know. I don't know if he's still a pastor. He's he certainly was.
2:04:07 He's a bit older at this point. But yeah, he does belong to the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. But a lot of the stuff he does is just it's to the Christian community at large. I like Walter Veith. He's actually a controversial figure within the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. They have really weird stuff. I've seen some nasty criticisms of Walter Veith that are totally, I believe, unfounded. He's specifically coming out of one guy who's younger and like came out of a Jesuit school. And he's like, yeah, like he says, I'm a Seventh-day Adventist or whatever. And he's like, I'm coming after Walter Veith. That's his mission is to just try to clobber him. And he just kind of makes a fool of himself on us every time he goes again. I honestly I don't know much about him at all. And I think I'm going to shock a lot of people that watch because a lot of people are watching him on on this channel. I don't know much about him.
2:05:00 I've seen maybe one or two of his presentations and I think they were good, but I don't know anything about the guy. He said some really nice things about my sports documentary I made. And I thought that was very nice. He said it a couple of times in a few different episodes. I saw those. He called it excellent. He really liked that. Yeah. So but I think he's probably doing a really good job. A lot of people really like him. And you're right. He is a controversial for some reason. I don't have any. He should be. Yeah. Well, if you bearing on what we're talking about, he does. He did. This is old now, but the information is still just as good. It's called Total Onslaught, where he will go through. It's like, how many lectures are there, Matt? Like these are like he stands up and he has two of them, you know, something. Yeah. But he gets into the nuts and bolts of all this type of stuff.
2:05:51 And the thing is, it's all sourced. So everything he puts up on the screen, even the clip that we that you played, Matt, it had the URL underneath. He does that for everything so that you don't have to take his work. And you just source it yourself. And then he's he's I don't agree with him on everything. I'm not an Adventist myself, but like I find his his material beneficial. But what he does a pretty good job more than some other people I've seen in differentiating when he's speaking like from God's word and when he's like, OK, this is just a thought that I have, which I think all of us should get in the habit of doing is like. And that's why I try to quote directly from scripture. I don't even like at least during the stream, like paraphrasing because it's like I want to go directly to God's word that I'm just reading and not trying to put my interpretation out as and when people do that. And that's that's what's kind of odd how you mentioned he's a controversial figure.
2:06:43 It's like, what is it exactly that you have an issue with? Because if somebody that's something I hone in, if somebody is just talking from scripture and then somebody saying they have a problem with that, what's going on here, you know? But that's maybe a topic for another show. Yeah. That answers the question on Walter Veith. Well, we can talk more about him, perhaps. Yeah. Sorry to completely derail that. But I thought it was a good question. This evening has gone on some tangents, so I'm totally cool with that. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I'll continue with the article and then I have some stuff. So let's see here. Bring us back. That would be now, Bradley. I was joking. Press the button.
2:07:32 Present. Press it, Brad. It's right in front of one presenter at the October 13th or 15th conference. Afras and Maggie discussed how she used the light as a medium to activate the sacred objects and materials commonly perceived as inorganic and associated with industry, masculinity and capitalism. So maybe wrenches and hammers. I don't know. The conference website. Stated. Maggie is an Iranian sculptor and installation artist based in Brooklyn, New York, according to her website. Other conference presentations included The Spiritual Magic of Real Dolls by Nigel Lightfoot. Garments as Portals by Normandy Shearwood and Witch Houses, The Magical Homes of the Matriarchy with Leela Taylor, according to the website description. So these names, it's pretty. I don't know. Real life size sex dolls.
2:08:36 Is that what that's talking about? I it has K in it, which, you know, Eric is not being crude, by the way. He's asking a real question, because with the K, there is this kind of a connotation surrounding. I'm talking about the real dolls. That's what it's talking about. Is that a brand? Yeah, I'm saying that the in the title, the K, the magic is a K. And that has to do with. Uh, Crowley, are you making a joke or are you being serious? No, I'm serious. The real dolls are life size sex dolls. And I'm wondering if that is. No, I am being serious. What are we doing here? No, I'm not talking about magic. I'm talking about real dolls. I'm talking about in the title. Yes, because look at this, the spiritual magic of real dolls. And you see that magic is spelled with a K.
2:09:25 I'm not talking about magic. The point is that they're talking about real dolls. I'm asking, are they are they associating sex dolls with magic? Yes. OK, and I'm saying the magic is spelled with a K, which is Crowley's brand of magic and the guy practice sex magic. I knew I should get what's going on here. OK, so, yeah, there is the brand Google at anybody. No, I already did. Fortunately, I didn't show anything weird. But the first website that comes up is perfect love dolls dot com. And the website says that these things are the world's top brands for TPE, whatever that is, and silicon sex. Brad, it's OK. We get it.
2:10:13 That's what they are. I had to find out if they were actually real. And fortunately, it's all safe search. But at the same time, that's that's that's amazing. I can't believe that. Well, right. Well, yeah, that that specific K spelling, I just want to get this point out. That is it's kind of implied that it's sex magic. If you look, there's the Red Hot Chili Peppers have an album. It's like blood sugar sex magic. And it's spelt with a K. It's like it's it's a known thing. It's Aleister Crowley's thing. Whatever. Yeah, that's what they're doing. They say there's magic involved with that. Whatever. Let's look at some of these pictures that I found. Hopefully, OK. Yeah. So they say the guy. Yes, they are safe. The guy asked if there were magic rituals being performed there.
2:11:02 Well, this was I got this from one of the guys who organized the event. He was posting on his social media and he said this was an altar that they created to this person. And this particular person was a man that lived as a woman and called themselves Rachel Pollock and Rachel Pollock. I think it's Pollock. They say Pollock Pollock Pollock was a tarot expert and actually wrote a book about Salvador Dali, which I didn't even know. I got way into this rabbit hole, honestly, just off of this one picture. But Salvador Dali apparently owned a deck of tarot cards. He's an artist and it's pretty well known artist. He did like the melting clocks. You were seeing that one. Oh, yeah. Bent and melting. Yeah. So that guy was an occultist. Go figure. But yeah, this is like a she died earlier this year in April.
2:11:57 So this is a way to honor her. They have some of her objects there, like that's one of the dresses and these little bags are all hers. So I think there is some ceremonial magic being performed if we're constructing an altar here on the campus. Let's look at this next picture. Here we have some candles being sold by this jolly gentleman. And if you see there on the label, these the name of the candle company is Mithras. So there's a little and they have like pyramidal candles as well there. So Mithras is referencing Mithra. Mithraism, which is an old it originates from Medo Persia. And it's this weird kind of religion that went underground and it was a big part of Roman culture. Actually, there's people I've even seen arguments made that the Statue of Liberty is Mithra is a man, not a woman.
2:12:53 I've seen some pretty compelling arguments, actually, for as crazy as that might sound. But, you know, this is just, again, more of the occult stuff. But we're familiar with the next page, please. And then this is these are some of the books that they have. They have a book on the Kabbalah. Is that what this is? Yes, with a C. But the Kabbalah is in Judaism, modern Judaism. They have the Torah, the holy Talmud, and then the most holy Kabbalah. And the Kabbalah is an inversion. It's like a Gnostic inversion of the scriptures. And it's just really it's strange to see that out. It's such a hodgepodge, I guess, is what I'm getting at. This is this mix in the occult world. It's like anything goes. We'll take whatever. It's like, oh, what, you read tarot cards? Sure. Come on in. Oh, you're a Kabbalist.
2:13:46 Yeah, come on. I make I make candles, you know, and I infuse them with evil magic. Oh, yeah, you can come to. It's just really a I don't know. It's like they'll take anybody and they'll do any depraved thing just to kind of get a spiritual leg up. That's what this conference is. Yeah. Just because I know from based off of those titles, you're like, what's going on, what kind of thing it is. But if we look at some of the pictures that they're posting, it's the same old stuff that we know they're doing all the time. There's nothing new under the sun. It's just creeping into the into the light of day. The NYU conference is not the only recent promotion of the occult at universities. And then they talk about what we talked about, a new master's degree in witchcraft, magic and occult science is scheduled to be offered September 20, 24 at the University of Exeter in England as faculty site growing student interest.
2:14:44 The program will explore scientific interests along with the long and diverse history of esotericism, witchcraft, ritual magic, occult science and related topics and build interdisciplinary expertize, according to the university website. So just like I was talking about with Babylon, interdisciplinary expertize. This is what they're trying to to get together, have people be experts in all these different fields that you're seeing at that conference so they can all come together and worship Satan. That's one big family. Albert Moeller, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky, said he believes witchcraft studies programs like the one at Exeter will spread like a virus to higher education institutions across the world. This is what happens when society is progressively evacuated of Christian content, Moeller said in an October 18th episode of his podcast, The Briefing. The resulting space is not a vacuum. And I agree with him.
2:15:45 It certainly is spreading like a virus and the resulting space is not a vacuum. And I have this is my is the slide that I just want to conclude this topic on, which is from Matthew 12, 43 through 45. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man. He walketh through dry places, seeking rest and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out. And when he has come, he findeth it empty, swept and garnished. Then goeth he and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself. And they enter in and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. And then Jesus correlates it right here. This is how he concludes the parable. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
2:16:39 And folks, I am sad to say we are living in a wicked generation. We really are. As the sand and the hourglass just gets lower and lower, we are seeing this stuff abound and it's a real shame because, yeah, when you kick Jesus out, it's not like you can just start making it on your own. It's not like you can start, you know, willing things into existence like they believe. No demons are coming in and inhabiting. They're inhabiting the people. They're inhabiting the institutions. And they are pervasive throughout this last day generation. So if if there's anything we can do, it's pray for these people. It's share the gospel as often as we can and really just hang tight, do God's will. But know that this is stuff that it's just this is prophecy unfolding. We know this is going to come to pass and that this is just evil coming.
2:17:33 And getting worse and worse and just penetrating all aspects of our lives. But that concludes tonight's presentation. Wow. So there's a lot of stuff going on here, Matthew. That's that's all collected from where was that all on our discord? Some of it was from the discord. Yes. Some of it was in some of the discord, Matthew. Discord. Yes. 2:19:24 Thank you, guys. Thank you, Matthew, for doing this presentation. That was very interesting, especially, yeah, all that stuff that that's going on right now. I have nothing else to say. So strange times we're living in strange times, indeed. I think we had a lot of fun conversation. Sometimes we went down on on some some tangents, but I hope that everybody enjoyed it. And leave a comment below and let us know how we did what you think. And, you know, we're we're going to be back again to do this some more. So thank you so much. I think we've kind of gone on a little bit with time normally. We like to interact with the chat at the end for a while, but I think it's approaching midnight Eastern Standard Time. So instead, we're just going to have Eric pray us out.
2:20:14 Eric, would you be so kind? Sure. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this opportunity to come together and talk about things of your word in light of and current events in light of Bible prophecy. And we. We ask that you not only give us discernment, but also those watching and those in the world who are seeing things deteriorate and they don't know what to make of it, we ask that you draw them to you. We ask that you open hearts to the message found in your word and that you bring all those who who have even the remotest possibility of coming to you. We ask that you bring them to you and let yourself be found by them. This is these are perilous times. Things are going insane in this world. And we're thankful for the hope and the information that you've given to us in your word, that we know why it's happening and the hope that soon you will return and fix this absolute mess that we're living in.
2:21:12 And until then, we ask that you bless this message, this podcast and also others who are who have ministries and podcasts who are putting out different aspects of the message from your word, and we ask that when those seeds of truth fall, on the minds and hearts of people who hear them, that you make them grow so that as many as possible can be saved. We love you. And we thank you again for everything you do for us and everything that you give us and for the hope that we have of being forgiven and having salvation in Jesus name, we pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Eric. Well, everybody, the world is strange, but we are normal. This has been strange. Normal. Thank you. We love you.
