0:00 The United States military is telling its troops that it's advancing the coming of Jesus by bringing Armageddon. Makes you wonder if behind the scenes leadership is pressing to run its war until the end of time, literally. This is all true. It's all over mainstream media right now, and it's even in an article by Huffington Post. But its original source came from hundreds of complaints from last weekend. Hundreds. A U.S. military combat unit told troops during a Monday briefing that Iran was part of God's plan, and even claimed that Donald Trump had been anointed by Jesus to cause Armageddon and mark his return to earth. That was a complaint filed with the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, the MRFF. Not just one complaint. The MRFF. The MRFF says that it has received over 110 complaints, and some reports say over 200, from service members across multiple branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, you name it, claiming that commanders have used similar religious language in briefings. According to them, these complaints span over 40 units and at least 30 different installations. So obviously something's going on if it seems that everybody is allowed to use religious ideas to promote the idea of war. One report said that their commanders urged troops to see conflict as all a part of God's divine plan, referring to the Book of Revelation in connection with the Iran War. Multiple instances and verses. The MRFF is an advocacy organization focused on separation of church and state within the military. They are the source of these allegations, since people come to them anonymously. Major mainstream outlets that have been involved in the war have said that the the MRFF says certain members told them, but as of now there is no response from the White House or Pentagon or Trump about these related issues. Separately, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has been promoting weekly White House Bible studies led by the evangelical preacher who says God commands America to support Israel. Under U.S. law, including the Constitution and the Uniform Code of Military Justice, commanders are generally prohibited from doing so. The MRFF says that the U.S. military has been prohibited from injecting sectarian religious belief into official military instruction. Although it may seem good to insert Christianity into the military, they need a lot of it, it's really upsetting to a lot of Christians. And here's why. Christianity and Bible prophecy does not support the idea of Israel being a part of last day events, except evangelicals. For evangelicals, they believe that if something happens in Israel, prophecy is moving. And if there is a war in the Middle East, we must be one step closer to Armageddon, which is just before the return of Christ. But when you actually open up the Bible and read it carefully, not through the headlines, through geopolitics, but through scripture itself, the picture looks very different.
3:12 First, New Testament redefines Israel. Paul says in Romans 9 6, for they are not all Israel, which are of Israel. In other words, being physically descended from Abraham does not make you automatically someone that's a part of the new covenant. Then Galatians 3 28-29 says, there is neither Jew nor Greek, for you are all one in Christ. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. According to the New Testament, if you belong to Christ, you are Abraham's seed. You are Christian. What does that mean? It means that you are a part of the New Testament. You are a part of the New Testament. In other words, you do not have to be born in Israel. The promise of a part of Christ's kingdom isn't ethnic. It's based on your choices. Peter doubles down on this in 1 Peter 2 9 where it says he takes language originally spoken in ancient Israel and applies it to believers in Christ. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation.
4:17 So, biblically speaking, Israel becomes a spiritual identity. God's faithful people, Not modern political states, but God's people are all around the world. Revelation isn't about protecting a geopolitical nation, it's about worship. Revelation 13 talks about a global system that enforces that worship incorrectly. Revelation 14 talks about people worshiping Him that made heaven and earth, God above. And Revelation 16 gathers the world to Armageddon, but it's the whole world drawn into the final spiritual conflict. The issue is that the last days isn't land, it's loyalty. It's not borders. It's worship. It's not ethnicity. It's allegiances to Christ. The popular narrative that modern political Israel must be the centerpiece of last days events simply does not line up.
