0:02 Welcome to Fireside Chat, where we talk about, as usual, the stranger things, but not necessarily just the spiritual. We're going to dive deep tonight into something that's not very common, but happens once a year. It is the Super Bowl, but not just any topic on the Super Bowl. We're going to talk a little bit about the Super Bowl commercials, the Super Bowl stuff, the Super Bowl everything. And with us tonight is the co-host, Matthew. Matthew, how are you? Hello, Bradley. Hello, everyone. Doing well. Glad to be here. Yeah, it's true. The Super Bowl is coming up. It's fast approaching.
2:51 And you've got some pretty decent material that you produced previously. Yeah. Didn't you? So last year, if I might just take over your discussion just for a moment, we had β there was an amazing β let me toot the horn for a second here, because I don't think anybody is doing a good documentary series or exposing what's going on here with sports. And I think it really, really, really needs to be talked about, if you don't know what I'm talking about. There's a documentary out called The Greatest Among Us. And you know what? Actually, I took some excerpts from it. And I thought we'd see it. Before we get into all the weirdness that you're about to talk about, that you've put together, I want to show you what we've already put together in the past and go from there. Do you mind if I do that, Matthew? No. You have the floor, Senator.
3:55 I don't know how to say that. Okay, great. Thanks. Here we go. Let's go first into the film. First scene. Let me bring up my B-roll here. The Greatest Among Us. This is just some clips from it. Watch this. This is fantastic. What actions in our lives trained us to think about becoming the greatest among others? Any superstitions going into the game? Any special thing you carried into the game on Sunday? I did. You know, I've learned a lot from my wife over the years. She's so about the power of intention, you know, and believing things. Things that are really going to happen. And she always makes a little altar for me at the game.
4:52 Because she just wills it so much. She said, you're lucky you married a witch. I'm just a good witch. In terms of what it means to New Zealand, the game doesn't start when the whistle goes. Lahaka kicks things off. Derived from an indigenous tribe, this sacred ritual is a characteristic that enables these self-proclaimed gods to magically become the greatest. And all is performed in their church, surrounded by their members. First of all, it's the Super Bowl. I mean, the Super Bowl is kind of like the Holy of Holies in America, right? So, like, here I am. I'm going to come in halfway between the church experience and I'm going to have to deliver a sermon.
5:43 The lowly, humble, meek Jesus gave his harshest scolding to his closest friends when they fought against one another as they tried to become the greatest in his kingdom. Matthew 18, 1-5 says, But enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. Those are just some quick clips from a much longer presentation that we do on this. And it just came out so well. I wish it was pushed out more and talked about more so that's what I wanted to do on this channel, to talk about it a little bit. It even got some endorsements from another YouTuber.
6:58 You might have known who that is. Let me show you. They did a wonderful documentary on sports. So, I'll put that in the description as well. Then people can go and look at it because we were speaking about sports. That one was exceptionally well done. I take my hats off to those people. They're doing a great job. You see, I just want to mention. They mentioned there how sport is actually a religion. It is a religion. It is. And where it leads to and the passions that it creates. And they show it very, very well. So, I think more people need to watch this and realize what we're really trying to push here. And it's not the fact that you shouldn't go play with your kids, have some fun as a family, throw a ball around. I think those are all great things. But when you, well, just watch it. Well, I'm not going to say too much more because I think to say just a sentence or two about this very, very, very important topic would do it injustice instead of watching what would happen throughout the whole thing.
8:05 Because I take it from a very miniscule, easy to understand portion. I spent a lot of time researching this. And just give example after example after example. Of the character that happens through someone that takes this to the nth degree. And I'll put a link to it in the description. But there's a very important message that needs to go out. And it needs to be promoted a lot more than it has been. So, that's all I'm going to say. That's all I'm driving at, really, if you think about it. Yeah. Well, I saw that documentary. I saw that documentary when it came out. It's pretty lengthy, right? What is it, over 30 minutes? Yeah. Is it over 40 minutes long? It's going up there. I don't remember how long it was.
8:58 I feel like it's like 38 minutes or something. Yeah. I don't know. It's really good. If you've got some time on your hands, sit down. Watch it. You could also, it's good listening material, too. You could listen to it if you wanted to. But I would recommend some of the visuals in there. They're really good. And, you know, it is definitely a wonderful documentary. It's a well-produced thing. You've got a little bit of a storyline in there with a kid struggling and everything. So, I liked it. And, yeah, an endorsement from the professor himself, Walter Veith. Yeah. I'll tell you what. If anybody who watches our show, if you know Walter Veith or someone in his ministry or Martin Smith, his co-host, have them get in touch with us because they would be so much fun to have on as guests. Like, I don't even know if we would need to just go down.
9:44 I feel like they're so knowledgeable. Really. I don't think we'd have to introduce the idea of, like, have you considered that the aliens could be demons? No. They're just, they got it. They're on it. We could just, we could roll through a show with them. Just have them, you know, sit in as a passenger on the ride and just provide commentary because, yeah, very insightful. Very good. But that's so cool that you got a shout out from them. For sure. You know, I want to mention one thing, too. You know, I have been trying and trying and trying. Trying and trying to get more people on the show to talk about their experience or to at least, let's interview some of these people that are well-known. I've messaged and I know Tucker Carlson has seen my email. I know senators have seen my email, multiple of them. I know professors that are well-known in the news.
10:40 Pasolka. I think that we talked about on the, a few episodes ago or so. I know these people have seen my emails. I mean, there must be a seven or eight or nine that I sent messages to. Well thought out, not too long, not too short messages. I mean, grammar just impeccable. GPT'd. I mean, I mean. This is a Brad toots his own horn tonight. I'm just saying that I am trying. It was the best letter. It was the best email that anybody ever sent. Yeah. It was the biggest email that ever went out. It was fantastic. Thank you, Matthew Trump. I appreciate that. But I think it's fascinating that I haven't gotten one response back.
11:27 And you know what that tells me? That tells me that number one, people are not willing or there's a much, much deeper. This is what bothered me. We haven't talked about this, Matthew and I. This is just a soapbox that I have been. Frustrated about for the last, I don't know, month or so. Because I think that it's interesting that we're not getting responses back from these people. Not even, oh, you know, I don't want to talk about it. Or things like that. Even that white-haired, curly-haired guy, whatever his name is. His secretary messaged me back like five times. But he's like, yeah, yeah, he has a number. He doesn't want to talk. They look at the channel and go, it's about religion. Or they look at the channel and say, oh, they have the truth. They know what's going on here. We don't want to talk about it. We don't want to give any privilege.
12:15 Or the religious people that could be on the show. Maybe they are just not willing to talk about the truth behind this matter. Because I've gotten no negative feedback, doctrinally or through the Bible or anything like that. Everyone seems to indicate that this is absolutely true, what's going on. But nobody wants to talk about it. What is up with that? I digress. But I could name you a list of names, but I'm not going to. I'm not going to call them out. I'm just going to be like, we're going to continue. And we're going to just bring you the facts. We're going to bring you the truth. We're going to show you what's happening in the news. And we're going to bring you some fun stuff, too, like this show right here. And I'm going to digress from this for a moment while I just stew.
13:06 No, it's fine. Even if we never get anyone like that, it's okay. Because ultimately, you know, you get to have the Holy Spirit with you every time you go live. Every time we get to share this information, ultimately, we're trying to give God's Word a platform, that perspective a platform. So if certain people don't want to engage or maybe it's for the best. You never know. God could be working behind the scenes and he knows certain people. He's like, oh, I don't know. I don't know if they need to be on the show. So I'm going to they're just going to it's going to slip their mind and they're not going to respond. We don't know. We don't know the score. One day we will. I'm confident that one day we'll be able to look back through a perfect lens and make sense and have closure. So I believe God wants us to have closure and not just leave it all on a big question mark.
14:00 He's got all the answers. So I imagine we're going to have a pretty good time figuring it out. Jeff. Jeff. Jeff says, feedofjesus.net. He says, maybe you can get Putin on the interview. This guy making jokes. OK, seriously, what do you got tonight, Matthew? I'm excited to see what you got. Well, it's pretty cool because, you know, you're mentioning the Super Bowl coming up and there's actually it's it's pretty interesting. There's a there's a commercial that's been out. And I don't know if you've noticed this. But. They've been putting out Super Bowl commercials ahead of the Super Bowl. This has been happening for a couple of years now. Yeah, they've been putting them out like a week in advance. I imagine it's probably because maybe it didn't draw the eyes that it once did.
14:48 Everybody's got smartphones. And I think as soon as the commercials come on, people just dive right into their their, you know, whatever they've got. And they're on social media, too, because if you're watching the game, you're you know, you're going to be constantly tweeting every time and commenting on the plays and commenting on what's happening. So maybe they've they're kind of thinking we need to wet the palette. We need to put out our commercials ahead of time. Whatever the case is, this is a commercial that was put out ahead of time. And it's very much connected to what we talk about on the flagship show. Generally, on Sunday nights, we'll go in detail on the whole aliens are demons question. And I feel like we do a very thorough job of exposing and. Just bringing the latest information on that.
15:36 Well, this was tied in to multiple things. So first of all, it's tied into the Super Bowl. But as we'll later see, the director of this commercial has recently been seen with a certain head of state, a certain pontiff. And we'll be going over that in a little while. But first, we got to dig into the matter. We have to see what is being put out. So without further ado, I want to watch this commercial. I'm going to start with you, Brad. See what you think. This is this is pretty great. This is wild. Yeah. All right. Here we go. Check it out. Reports of flying saucers are nothing new. These are routine sightings, not isolated events. Are you seeing this? It's spinning.
16:25 There's a whole swarm of them. Oh, my God. They're all against the wind. All against the wind. Oh, look at this. That's 110, 100 feet. There was an historic hearing today on Capitol Hill and an unprecedented bipartisan push for UFO transparency. Let's see. What happens here? I told you to take Broadway. This always happens. And that's exactly what's going to happen.
17:43 That's exactly just how society is today. We're not going to see anything because everybody will be waiting. We're not going to see anything because everybody will be waiting. anything because everyone's focused on what's going on in their personal life and on their cell phone nobody's looking up yes nobody's looking up and well there's there's a couple things i want to break down first of all the guy you see at the end is martin scorsese he directed that commercial and what you saw at the beginning was a young martin scorsese sitting in front of his television screen watching that old movie and then he's kind of at the end he's watching that old movie on his ipad he's talked a lot about he's a director he's very outspoken he doesn't like some of the uh the modern technology and some of the modern um filming techniques he's kind of an old school guy so that's kind of why he's still invested in his the older age but it shows it he is of a generation that was brought up from being a little boy sitting in front of his tv screen to now he's 81 years old and he can sit in the back of his limo and watch that movie on his ipad and it's still relevant to him it's still meaningful to him because there is the question of uh extraterrestrial life non-human intelligence as we've been as we've been hearing about so yes people are very involved in their day-to-day lives and you saw that they're staring at their phones and when they're even confronted with what we could say is maybe proof of the aliens existence that being the footage from the nimitz i brought this up before and i'm sure i'm gonna have to bring it up again but that particular clip that you see from the nimitz the they call it uh the the top uh ufo that you saw there it's like kind of a black contrasted and that's being picked up by military sensors that is shown all the time any time of a news you better believe it if a news agency is going to talk about a ufo segment they will show that clip beforehand even if that clip has nothing to do with the story they're about to talk about it has become the poster of this whole movement and i think it's because one day and perhaps one day very soon these non-human intelligences will say that was a time where you actually got us that's that is a that's some footage of us for real not just someone messing around in uh their digital after effects not just somebody who thought they they saw a balloon flying across the air and thought it was us no this particular uh footage this is us this this was us out there so that will be the consumption that will be the disruption and the kind of convergence between one λ Έλ and the original US television uh worried abc over the uh he should just wait before his game bell goes off but i think that we will do as he says bless the Lord our lord you are all on a the lore that that is put out yeah absolutely yeah it's um the most i would say the most recent kind of uh milestone landmark thing that uh has been put out to the public and they just want to make sure that you're not forgetting about it they want it to be fresh in your mind all the time so sorry i didn't want to cut you off but i want to want to say that there is uh while everyone was trying to look up i have a verse for that in fact i want to uh say thank you to alia for putting this in the chat too it says that you know everyone should be looking up at one time but we should be looking for something else luke 21 28 says and when these things begin to come to pass then look up and lift your heads for your redemption draws nigh and i think that's pretty relevant for today because um things will start happening when you do look up in the sky and you're like oh yeah things are happening your redemption's just around the corner yes and ironically we'll be looking up after these things have already come down from the sky so we'll be the ones who are standing around still looking up and they'll be saying hey what are you looking up for the things that were up there are down here with us you got a problem what's going on what are you waiting on because this is your savior here on earth the the solution i thought was probably you the most telling thing they ended up uh it's a squaresoft squaresoft you can make websites they kind of got templates and it's easy you go in you fill in your information and boom you got it uh but that wasn't just what they did they make this website but then everybody's phones all of the mass media the big billboards and times square it changes and you suddenly can't ignore it suddenly it's aliens in your face because they seized the technology and i've said that before when we talk about emergency broadcast systems how they tested that and it just goes to show the government has the power to send out a notification to your phone and it's not beyond uh them if they are working alongside the non-human intelligences the fallen angels masquerading as aliens it is not beyond i believe earthly power
22:34 to seize your device and have that happen let alone a spiritual power that could have that type of control over technology so i think there will come a time where i've said it before i gotta set up a hammer i'll put it over here or something and it's just uh gonna be behind glass and it's breaking case of alien invasion so i can take the hammer and i can smash my uh my phone live for everyone and that's my last broadcast i'll just smash that and i'll say all right well you know what that means so it begins and uh i'll smash i'll smash my computer too for good measure until uh and that's how i'll be off air at that point forever at that point you know there's another movie that is uh that reminds me of when when all these devices switched over and we're playing the same thing it's um it's probably a very brad movie but at the time when i was still into hollywood i uh there was a movie called antitrust it was kind of the story of um a dramatized story of microsoft that they change everyone's name and stuff and it was kind of based on that uh what had happened back then with microsoft but um they uh but the whole the whole premise of it had changed because it was based on that idea that you know you have a monopoly on something and what they were trying to do instead of make a software company was make all devices and be able to broadcast on any medium and you have computers television phones all this other stuff and they were trying to and the guy had figured out how to do that and the whole movie was based on anyway it made me think about that because that was uh that was the premise and so why is this this idea being drummed into the heads of the masses over and over again i don't think it's necessarily by some guy sitting behind the curtain going she was gonna drum it i'm gonna show them i think it's spiritually led and we're gonna we're gonna see something something major happen with all this that's for sure yes i do i think that it's probably a thought that's embedded a lot of these people they do creative exercises which uh that just amounts to you emptying your mind and accepting anything and just you know just start writing just start writing anything and when you start giving yourself over to powers beyond yourself especially for the purposes i want to benefit from this is what you're saying too uh they're more than happy to come in hijack or transmit thoughts into your head and you'll run with them thinking man that's a great idea but you know it's really not your idea to begin with so that was the commercial and uh funny enough they actually did kind of a behind the scenes making of this commercial and i don't know if this is like legitimately how this commercial was made i think it's like it could be a dramatized kind of version of how it's made or something but check this out because they put it out that's i divided it into two parts so let's see part one of this behind the scenes making of this commercial so that was the commercial and i think it's like it could be a the scenes here we go bts commercial an intergalactic plea for connection so like martians well no it shouldn't be martians because if they're martians and they come from mars it's right they're right here i'm talking about intergalactic like another galaxy like extraterrestrials just yeah extraterrestrials maybe for like 100 years or so they've been trying to contact us or connect with us in some way they've been doing like snowstorms in the sahara the mad rhinos running down wall street all these you know little overtures and they at any point they've been trying to connect with us they if they're doing that sort of thing they could have touched down in time square right in the middle of time square and just come right out but they're not and i think what it is is that they're waiting they're waiting to be discovered waiting to be discovered so that's that's so he actually does believe that there are extraterrestrials and they're here now and they're waiting to be discovered that's what i got from that i think i think i think this is the story this is how when he's looking at the commercial he's looking at the characters and he's saying okay we have this alien race that's here but the things that he mentioned were pretty pointed he said that they were controlling the weather they're doing like snowstorms in the sahara and that's supposed to be a sign that there's alien life there they're releasing uh like bulls on time square there's animals running amok in time square and this type of uh weather manipulation and even animal uh behavior going crazy that's something that you do see a lot of people doing in time square and i think that's something that's going to be a thing that you do see biblically and when god sends uh plagues there can be very strange things that happen and it's a sign of god's presence he was using it in exodus to let the egyptians know that they were following false gods and he was the one true god so there's hail coming down in egypt that's a you know this phenomenon it's like it's not supposed to be hailing here what's going on you've got frogs falling from the sky this is this is bizarre this is not a behavior of frogs so i think that it's one of those things where if you heard about these miraculous
27:43 uh things in the past you would say oh that's uh that that's a proof of god when now it's kind of like oh it can be proof of alien life in addition to that he said that they could just sit down in time square whenever they want but they want to be discovered and i i agree with that i do too i think that they i love your camera yeah is it just my camera yeah oh boy okay well matthew's uh taking some time out a few moments he's uh i'm back can't get the camera working whatever i don't care um the whole point of it is that they want to be discovered i think that's true don't you don't you think they won't they want you to reach out on an individual level and acknowledge that they're there yeah i think what's going to happen is that i mean they're waiting to they are waiting to be discovered because if if they were to just and i'm talking spiritual realm here if they were to just pop out and say haha we're aliens well then uh everyone would just absolutely lose their heads but if we discovered them oh look at us we figured it out they were here the whole time oh go us yay we accept them then um it it's that's how it's going to happen hey look we can find life on another planet uh hey look there must be something else here hey look we discovered them they're flying around in our in our military zones hey look we figured it out they're so smart but they can't keep themselves from us so stupid but um it is what it is so yeah that's that's generally the belief it's uh people believe some really incredible things about about them but i think in the end they'll be able to set the record straight everybody will hear from them themselves and then it won't be a matter of oh this is ridiculous this makes perfect sense yeah that's what that's the lore that's what's going to be deception right there those liars those liars those cheats we can um we can go on now to this is the part two of that behind the scenes thing we talk about making this this website okay here we go okay well i mean what what do you think they want to not feel that they're alone so like they want a friend they want us to be friends and they got they got a real problem they come down here for us to be friends no no i think they have i mean maybe other people but not us okay do you have a name idea for this a name an outstretched hand across the cosmos and like a little smaller okay hands across the universe no maybe they don't have hands what do they have i don't know what they have there who knows what they have i'm just saying whatever yeah how about we're like looking up at them we say hello up there hello but what if it's from them well it could be from their point of view which means hello hello down there yeah that's it you've got okay yeah okay so that'll work that's a good i get a headline too oh that's not bad i mean it's a greeting and it's like a plea yeah yearning yeah we're not careful we can humanize them but you really ruin everything i'm i'm starting to get it now i didn't know a website i didn't really know where i could do that yeah i mean it's basically not real if it's not on the internet oh is that what it is i think i think actually i didn't know what that button was going to do so i just pressed it anyway but i think that worked well um if it's not real it's not on the internet well now we got aliens on the internet and i have a feeling where we're going to go next yes we will go straight to reality so so without any uh prompting after that i saw that and i saw them make the website and i said you know it'd be funny if they uh they actually made a website to accompany this commercial so i i did it i looked it up i said hello down there i punched it into google website and sure enough i clicked it first link here it is and this is this is where i said i was going down the rabbit hole at this point sometimes you gotta go down the rabbit hole oh no not this brad i have actual screenshots this is gonna be a video we're gonna watch from the website in a minute that would not let me down because it's from squaresoft and for some reason squaresoft
32:29 does not let you download the videos from their website go ahead pull up this uh this first image for me if you would oh sure yeah so this is it the very first one hello down there and you got their big friendly eyes and their big smiling and it's just kind of right along there and i got the url up there too so you can check this out for yourself if you want but uh it's legit so go to the next image please yep and we see this is what kind of welcomes you greetings earthlings what does a highly advanced civilization have to do to get noticed around here we hail from the constellation canis minor and we're here to harvest your organs and drain your oceans for rocket fuel kidding that's more of a canis major vibe so i don't know coincidence or not uh canis major is where the star lies serious the dog star which i don't know if you know that has some occult significance maybe some people know it but it's reminiscent of satan the canis minor um is what precedes it literally means it's before the dog before this this main dog and um it's just it's funny because they say oh like the harvesting organs and harming harming you gathering resources that's more of the canis major it's more of where like the dog star lies so it's the you often see uh and satan puts on these different faces he likes to be a good cop bad cop and so we know we're kind of dealing with the good cop here right this is the this is funny satan laugh laughy satan given that your human civilization has not yet achieved interstellar travel you are likely unaware of how lonely space is but we are aware so he hooked up some gravna or garavan plows to a couple of flargen bows and a minecart and a minecart and a minecart and a minecart and a minecart no floor just for giggles and set out to find some friends in the cosmos for the last hundred years we've been trying to make contact with you oh to no avail but then our lead human researcher made a huge breakthrough nothing is real to humans until it is on the internet so with help from your square space technology we sincerely hope the 55 419th time is the charm and that is a very strange little time frame isn't it the last hundred years brad isn't it that is interesting yeah last hundred years last hundred years so since 19 19 24 it would have been but we know that in the last hundred years or so according to all the ufologists that's when all of the major sightings have been that's when the developments have been they said that there was that major crash landing in magenta italy interesting 19 1934 so we're only 10 years away from the anniversary of that particular event the the person i think who did this site whoever was putting this together they did some research because you'll see some other stuff here that is uh it's too on the nose it's too i guess accurate to to what we are familiar with having studied this phenomenon so the very next section is a silly little question section we'll see what kind of what kind of red flags we can pull out of this but uh faqs we understand enough about your fragile human brains to know that you probably have questions about the sudden appearance of a race of technologically superior space beings on your intergalactic doorstep our human affairs officer has prepared some answers below what planet do we live on so it goes in the detail there are a few planets in the constellation canis minor known to you unknown to humans most of us call the planet shriveled shrogador home that's not a real planet it's made up i looked into it i don't even know they're just pulling out the name i don't know where just so we're all aware it wouldn't be i mean sci-fi wouldn't be complete without some huge jargon that you have to learn in order to understand the whole right it pads it out yeah it really does but uh it's funny because it says that it's from planets that are unknown to humans as of right now um i don't think when studying canis minor i don't think they recognize it but i don't think they recognize it but i don't think they recognize it any planets i don't think that are any anybody who studies space has acknowledged that so they're saying there's there's been a misunderstanding and that they were there kind of in that system all along okay got that uh are we friendly yes please trust us please in all caps which i think that's the sentiment that that they come in with we hear this uh from the experiencers that they're
37:17 they're told to trust and go along with there is one woman who was talking about how she really afraid of one encounter with uh with her alien buddies where it uh kind of creeped her out it did something weird it snapped its head around and had a big ghoulish smile on and she said she lost contact with them for a few days because it scared her so badly she didn't want that but then that same being came back a few days later and said it's okay we are peaceful we're friendly you're just not used to seeing supernatural things and it uses the term supernatural to her that poor woman she is is knee deep in it uh right i'm believing i wouldn't want to be having a conversation with any of these do we believe in astrology we use the stars primarily as a map for travel but sure they could be a map for our personalities too so you have that angle with it uh amanda r just want to give you a shout out i see this little super chat thank you so much we've got a giggling fox yeah it is a little goofy this website is goofy for sure but it winks at you a little too much in some areas and we'll get to that for sure uh how much dna do we share about 75 percent which is as much dna as you share with a chicken this makes for poor test subjects so no worries there this was an angle that we've considered we've said what if they come and they say oh we're your creators we're your progenitors therefore you share some level of dna with us and humanity has been prepared to accept this whole idea that oh if our dna is so similar that means we're related we share 97 percent of our dna with a chimpanzee that means we were once chimps no it's just go ahead yeah no we can kind of figure out what's what's going on with this whole thing by by seeing what all the different uh testimonies all the different experiencers are saying that they have said to them and there's similarities that pop up and this is one of them that they all say hey yeah we created you and and we are we're part of your your species and you put human humanity on here on this planet to evolve and a bunch of other lies you know so i believe that this will be the the possible way they obtain they obtain um uh what's it called worship by saying hey we are your creator yes and also proving it in some type of scientific setting saying look how closely we are related to one another that means we're we're relatives well you know even between a person a person the genetic differences are pretty small but there are vast differences between any two given people so even if there is a three percent difference of uh of dna that three percent is so massive i mean jam a chimpanzee's heart into your chest and see see how long you'll last you know hearts human transplant hearts get rejected because they're that dissimilar uh it's it really it buys you time it really buys you time it really buys you time is what it does before your body eventually does reject the tissue foreign tissue how long have we been around our understanding of time is different from yours let's just say that roughly about a hundred times longer than your civilization has existed so we get into this weird thing about time this is the first mentioning of that that they understand time differently and i think we will see that because they need to explain away some of that um i think joe jordan one of the guests of our show he's called it the oz factor yeah because in the wizard of oz dorothy goes on a whole trip to oz and she's there for days and days and she comes back and she's like what happened oh you just bumped your head you know you've been out for an hour you know what's what's the big deal and that happens with people who get a quote-unquote abducted yeah because they'll go and they'll say what i was only gone for 20 minutes and they say i couldn't find you for four hours i looked everywhere for you it was scary you just disappeared and and we had no idea where you were so you know that the whole time dilation thing it's a pretty crazy crazy thing what do we want we want friends we want to share our new experiences our deepest darkest secrets and funny memes uh i'd say the truth is they want worship it's what you were talking about right yeah this uh they don't necessarily want to be your friend no jesus friend he distinctly said that he considers us friends of his which is a massive privilege you get to be a friend of the most high god totally mind-blowing but these things don't want to be your friends they'll say that they want friendship but they want worship and they sadly will receive
42:08 yes no no keep going sorry i just wanted to stop you the chat is asking what are you reading i want to make sure everyone that just joined us knows what you you're saying these are uh frequently asked questions from a website that is connected to a super bowl commercial there's a super bowl commercial going around and it has to do with squarespace which is a site that generates websites in the commercial alien beings make a website there's no indication that the website was real but i looked it up and the website is real and they have all this weird information on it that's what we're talking about and most of it is uh you know obviously haha but there's a lot of it that we can talk about here just the bullet points because these are what are on people's minds i think are interesting so we're kind of just just going over these little this little section but uh what do we look like as i found this interesting brad our physical forms are much more malleable than the human body this allows us to adapt to new environments across the cosmos when we are on earth we choose to look more similar to humans for your own comfort huh hmm that's uh strangely correct they seem to well i i don't believe that they are just out there in the cosmos somewhere we know that they are already here they being uh a very deceptive um i guess you could call them alien they are fallen beings but what's going on here is that they uh they do they can't appear it's just anything and we've seen that through the experiences we've seen that through the bible itself the witch of endor they appear as whatever they want and uh they can deceive you you through that method that's interesting that's fascinating that they're actually saying that yeah because they follow it up here with this next question oh did you have something to say well i'm just gonna i just want to remind everyone first contact the movie first contact how did how did the the father of that how did the the first person that made contact with uh alien race in that movie how did she make alien contact well she met her dead father her dead father said well we came to you like this and we're going to do this and we're going to do this because we thought you would be more accepting through your emotions uh than than anything else watch the movie blows my mind because they're i mean it's it's presented right there so yeah continue yes and they even do a follow-up question here do we have tentacles and they specifically say because we can change forms sometimes we have tentacles sometimes we don't whatever works best for the situation so it's kind of this hammering in of uh they're able to change their forms and take different shapes and they're able to change their forms and take different shapes and they're able to change their forms and they're able to change their forms and they're able to change their shapes which is squid again fern i think it's yeah whatever works best for the situation uh how long are we staying it has taken hundreds of years to get your attention now that we have it we want to make our efforts worthwhile so we'll be around for a while that's i think that's funny because uh in terms of what satan has uh he knows his time is short and that's part of revelation when saying woe to to the end of the day inhabitants of earth because satan is among you and he knows that his time is short and that's true but uh i think in their best case scenario they are hoping to spend a little more time with us than they're gonna get and then what's the secret to the universe sigh you really need to stop asking so i think is i think it'll be a pretty funny thing because in the end when they do touch down there are going to be people who are coming with these spiritual questions obviously they're going to know okay well what happens after you die where how did we get created how did the universe get created all this other stuff and satan and his angels they've come up they've had plenty of time to come up with information that they can sell to humanity and that they will buy and they'll kind of accept this false reality that they can then step into and ultimately totally turn their backs to god and we'll we'll be talking about turning your back to god in just a minute here because there's some good scripture about about that um this is the next kind of image here because uh it says that you can visit their spacecraft right huh and uh is this on the website this is on the website yes this was the image that they chose now uh i know it looks to be like a roman arch and that would be so exciting if they imagine if this was just an image of vatican city that would be hilarious right that would really uh put us over the edge but it's not it's actually the uh arc de triumph it's
46:58 the triumphal arch that was commissioned to be built in the early 1800s and it was to commemorate people who had died in the french revolution on the napoleonic wars in france but before it was uh this arch was commissioned it was known as the place of the star and the reason for that is because all of these different avenues that you see they come together and converge on the central point now check this out i included an image of an aerial shot of this location next yes so here it is from the sky and if you see faintly there there are little sun bursts coming out from the center and what this actually is is it's sun icon iconography oh i see you see that now i was like what are you roads but yeah there's a little red coming out from the yellow yeah i see that yeah there's some rays there that are uh that are there on the road and this isn't the only place that you can find sun symbolism sun symbolism and sun worship in general is how satan has been worshipped throughout the ages it's like his most popular form of worship has always had to do with the sun because humanity has seen the sun and it's a source of light and life it's warmth that helps the crops grow you know when the sun comes out in the spring you got life and summer and so on and so on so i wanted to point out that this is uh is embedded into this area i don't necessarily think it was chosen for the website for that purpose but it was a good it's a good opportunity to teach on this subject because there is specifically scripture that is found in ezekiel chapter 8 and we're going to take a look at it but before this verse that we're going uh ezekiel goes into vision and he's being walked through israel is in is in a state of transgression against god and what happens is he's shown things that god considers an abomination and as he looks at one thing it says i'll show you greater abominations than these and he sees another i'll show you greater abominations than these again i will show you greater abominations of these and eventually it culminates to this the greatest of abominations there is no other scene that is shown after ezekiel 8 4 uh 16 and we're going to take a look at it right now if we can uh shrink it down just a little bit for me brad i'm sorry yeah i'll work on that uh give me a second a few moments later you like that one tonight i can't do it fast enough no it's okay i can read it if you want um yeah go ahead uh let's see and he brought me into the inner court of the lord's house and beheld and i can't read yeah i'll read it and behold at the door of the temple of the lord between the porch and the altar were about five and twenty men with their backs towards the temple of the lord and their faces toward the east and they worshiped the sun toward the east this is ezekiel 8 16 so this is the greatest of abominations that god wanted to show and it is these uh 20 and uh five men with their backs towards the temple of the god they have completely turned their back to god you know if i turn my back to this broadcast if i just turned around and you see the back of my head and i got my phone and i'm on that instead what does that tell you you I don't care oh sorry me i'm sorry i'm still trying to shrink the text don't worry about it it's fine i'm finally there ask me the question again well i was just saying if i turn my back to you it would show you that i don't care about you it's it's more than just an ignorant type of thing they are they know that this is the temple of the lord but they're choosing to turn away from it and they are putting their faces towards the sun because they're embracing this sun worship it's a very sad thing but that is what that's what happened with god's people um thousands of years ago and it's it's happening today sadly a lot of people are turning away from god and they are embracing new age religion or religion of self there's a lot of people who have
51:48 this idea that they uh can manifest things that they're not going to be able to do and they're there's some divine element to their own being and every time those that's embraced that's just turning away from god because god is saying no you're you're not divine being uh no you can't manifest things well i don't care what you have to say i'm gonna i'm gonna turn my face and worship the one who says that i can't and that's that's what we're experiencing yeah even today here in ezekiel 8 and 16 and that's right everything is coming full circle like solomon says there's nothing new under the sun i mean it's it's it's hey you know what if it's not worship this it's worship that and then they're gonna put sun worship back in and that's fascinating fascinating yep definitely uh we'll continue on with our website there's just a couple more things to see this was a part of the visit our ship so arrival and departure after booking your visit a giant beam of light will appear at your specified time and location once you are off the ground time will not move at the rate you are accustomed to so ensure you have things in order back on earth if you do not show up you will still be charged but again it's it's repeating the uh that phenomenon that happens when people are uh are supposedly abducted they really take this to the time dilation yeah i know well that's what i'm saying for like a little jokey website i was surprised just how much material was here i expected like a little whatever but the more i clicked the more stuff i saw and i'm like this is someone is did their research on like the ufology scene to make this authentic yeah it's just so much and then uh what to expect we can understand that you might be nervous it is a giant metal flying object after all from a place you've never been or never even heard of it's nothing like a car or plane but don't worry we've done this plenty of times and people mostly make it back fully intact so even acknowledgement there that the people there are people who have died uh coming into contact with uap right and yeah militarily there are lawsuits right now that people are wanting compensation for their dead right service members uh because government is refusing to acknowledge that they were killed in these freak uap accidents right right brain damage weird shaking violent shaking and that's what happens radiation yeah yeah radiation it's really the radiation thing is it's really weird so this is where i need you to pull up your browser brad because this this is one of the little videos they have like a couple of embedded videos in there and i found this one to be the uh the most interesting of the three that were available because just see how much detail has been put into this website uh the things that they're going to talk about i'll actually tell you where uh what they are in reality scroll up right there that little press play up up oh i know i know i was i thought you wanted me to show the bottom of it okay no no we're good you ready are you ready i'm totally ready all right here we go full screen me here when we first embarked on our attempt to contact near civilization we thought a giant spacecraft appearing in your skies was going to do most of the work for us but as we quickly learned you humans have an impressive ability to explain away phenomenon does not fit with your conception of reality one of our earliest attempts was in 1947 when the civilian pilot observed our expeditionary fleet traveling in the flying v formation much faster than was possible for any flying objects at the time however your government claimed he was hallucinating we still laugh about this in 1951 we allowed our ships to be photographed over lubbock texas but even this was not enough for you let's jump ahead to 1980 when we realized you weren't going to be able to discover us in the sky we tried to land in rendlesham forest outside london we destroyed a few trees sorry about that it wasn't the best location by the 2000s we were playing tag with your fighter pilots on a weekly basis but to be honest our heart wasn't in it it seemed like there was nothing we could do to make you notice us but then we made an incredible discovery which we will tell you all about in chapter three what okay um was weird especially since it seems so updated and someone obviously put a lot of work into this i mean i still can't get over that i mean obviously they they made a super bowl commercial right so i mean it's it's gonna be right you're already spending millions of dollars or whatever yeah
56:44 and then then they get 3d animate animation and an animation of a alien and then they put a video up there and website what in the world what is this advertising again i completely forgot it's uh for it's like a spare space okay they do website templates so on one angle yeah you could say well they made this elaborate website to show you that square space is capable of making elaborate website but the details it's like the topic and the details that are going into this are what's weird you would expect um i don't know something a little less serious in the in that video entry but the everything that he uh that the they talked about in that video is legitimate the 1947 incident that they're talking about that happened when ken uh arnold saw some uh saw some ufos flying past mount rainer and he was dismissed at that point in time they said no they're you're hallucinating you didn't actually see anything but he said no these things are are moving in ways that uh that can't can't be explained and sure enough the ufo fever gripped the nation i think he was the one who described them as saucers flying through the air and then they also talked about the lubbock texas incident where we allowed you to photograph us and that's talking about the lubbock lights and you can look that up and you can see for yourself um the lights that are there they're in like a v-shaped formation flying um make it that what you will and then rendlesham forest incident that's that's a whole other topic and you could look into that but those are legitimate pieces of what you would consider the lure for ufology and then yes brad and by the way if anybody's interested in understanding that we understand what is being said about this because a lot a lot of people are going to have questions about this they're going to think they know a lot about it every wind of doctrine is going to blow and i i think um i want to raise up deb she's actually in the the chat deborah she's been doing this on this day channel in the discord where she talks about not uh she finds an expert uh excerpt expert excerpt there we go there's the word of the what's going on on this day in ufology and so it kind of explains what people think about this and what is actually you know happening on that day it was really interesting stories to kind of figure out what's happening we're going to do some a little more of that and explain what the truth is behind it on this channel but yeah i just want to plug that if you want to experience that and uh be a part of that um and talk with us about it all the time go to patreon.com strange normal join us yeah there's a lot of different weird situations that have happened over the years and they mount up over time and you can see sometimes it's uh some really strange type of stuff i don't know if this is the most credible person telling this story but other times it's people who are very sober-minded they have these experiences and it really does change their lives and it generally changes it for the worst you know people don't often don't come into counter with this type of stuff and say uh everything is so much better no the majority of people say i come in contact with this and i wish it never happened because it's it's really ruined my life ruins lives it doesn't uplift them which you know that that falls right in line with how satan operates right yeah so that was the website for the commercial that was directed by martin scorsese now martin scorsese he is a big name you know he's he's won the oscars he's got uh plenty of movies under his belt you familiar with some of them goodfellas just a massive gangster film of his uh look well uh let's let's look at this article here basically his notoriety is so big that he is able to attain an audience with the pope so we have uh i know i'm one second matthew do it again should i do it again matthew should i do it again no we're fine we don't need to do it anymore we've used it up you've used up all your tickets this is an article from the daily mail just a couple of good fellas silence director martin scorsese meets with pope francis at the vatican in rome as he is set to start making a new film about jesus what so this was just a week ago last day of january is
1:01:31 when this article was published let's uh let's dip into it let's dip our toes in read some of this martin scorsese has had a private audience with pope francis ahead of making his new screenplay about jesus which is expected to begin filming later this year the renowned director 81 met with the pope on wednesday after scorsese attended his weekly general audience which allows the public an opportunity to see and pray with the pope the 81 year old who had been a catholic his whole life despite describing himself as uh a not a regular churchgoer said in december 2023 after many years of thinking about other things dabbling here and there i am most comfortable as a catholic i believe in the tenets of catholicism is yeah it's interesting too like the distinction of being catholic because even when i was a practicing catholic that's what i would i would have said it was the catholicism of republicanism i'm a catholic you know i i practice catholicism i i'm not a christian i don't you wouldn't say i'm a christian necessarily it's like no let me distinguish it i am a catholic because you go through a very specific uh way of worshiping his upcoming film will be an adaptation of the book a life of jesus by shusaku endo written in 1966 and will be much shorter than his other films with a running time of around 80 minutes it will be set in the present day to make it timeless and will examine jesus's core teachings in a way that explores the principles but doesn't proselytize okay i'm trying to find a new way to make it more accessible and take away the negative onus of what has been associated with organized religion he said in an interview with los angeles times okay next you want to go next well i want to talk just a little bit about this we're setting it's going to be a uh an adaptation of this book you're going to set it in the present day to make it timeless i don't think that the gospels need to be set at any other time than the time they were in to be timeless you know the message of jesus is not one that needs updating it doesn't i don't need to see a hipster jesus hanging out in a sweatshirt you know and uh i don't know like posting on his social media account or whatever you're going to have him do right what he did he came in at the perfect time that's part of it too god's timing is impeccable he knew what he was doing when he came in and and did everything that he did and had things transpire as they transpired it's just uh it's a weird thing and also the whole thing is that you're going to make this and it's going to explore the principles but doesn't proselytize you're not going to evangelize well what's what's the point if uh because the whole point of sharing the story of jesus is to call sinners to repentance and to have people experience the fullness of life he said he's going to give you life in abundance and you can only achieve that through a relationship with jesus christ if you're not going to promote that i just don't think it's it's even i don't think it's even it's even it's even it's even it's even it's even it's worth uh the undertaking but if he's meeting with the pope the pope has been very express about his disdain for evangelical people uh people who proselytize their religion and a major disdain for people that are fundamentalist christians as well yeah yeah how dare they be fundamental how dare you believe the bible and the bible alone how dare you i think that's something yeah how dare we how dare we uh hold to the bible and say uh if it does not agree with this word there's no light in it i mean that's what the bible says yeah yeah i think it's a simple concept to grasp but if you do understand that you'll be able to use the bible as a sword you'll be able to cut through deception and say hey this does not agree with what was being taught in here as a matter of fact what you're doing is expressly spoken against and that's not a good place to be in we'll continue with the article now yeah oh why why okay let's fix that real quick no problem we're gonna zoom out there we go perfect mr scorsese first spoke of his new project last may when he attended the global aesthetics of the catholic imagination at the
1:06:30 vatican which gathered around 40 filmmakers writers and poets who have seen catholicism as integral to their work at the event scorsese said i have responded to the pope's appeal to artists in the only way i know how by imagining and writing a screenplay for a film about jesus shusaku endo who was also the author of silence a book that was adapted into a film by ye vseur ieterson Corsese in 2016, which followed the story of two Portuguese Jesuit missionaries, played by Adam Driver and Andrew Garfield, who must contend with various forms of persecution as they travel through 17th century Japan to proselytize locals and track down their mentor, played by Liam Neeson. The film was screened in a special viewing at the Vatican, as Pope Francis is the first Jesuit pope. Now, you probably didn't see Silence, did you, Brad? A Silence of the Lambs? No, Silence, this movie that is being described here. No, no. I'm not with it tonight, apparently. Don't worry about it. The thing we've been talking about the whole time.
1:07:50 Yeah. No, well, I did. I saw it because, well, I was a practicing Catholic at the time, and I thought, I want to watch a movie about these Catholic priests going to Japan. And it's a shame, because a lot of them work. They were killed in sometimes very brutal ways, and they were Jesuits as well. It's a very interesting part of history, if anybody cares to look it up. But essentially, spoiler alert, by the end of the movie, what happens is one of Adam Driver's characters dies, and Andrew Garfield finally manages to find Liam Neeson, and he is shocked to see that Liam Neeson has disavowed Jesus. And is... No longer holding to those values and is living as a Japanese citizen. And he says, it's your turn. You have to disavow Jesus as well. And for a long time, he won't do it. He won't do it. He's willing to die for it.
1:08:48 And he's undergoing all these grueling, terrible things that are happening to him. But when the time comes, he sees it's... And this is like a thing that they apparently did. They had this little icon of Jesus carrying the cross. And they put it on the ground. And in order to show that you're disavowing your allegiance to Jesus, you'd have to stomp on it. Because that means that you're no longer following this man. He is beneath you. He's under your foot. And he's pressured there to do it. And he hears this voice. And it just says that... It says, oh, it's okay for him to do it. And he does it. And he ends up living his whole life as a Japanese person. It's kind of like, this is the last 10 minutes of the film. Fast forward through. He's now employed by... The Japanese to find contraband Christian icons and things.
1:09:38 So it's like they're hidden. They'd hide them in a clock. You'd open the back of it. And suddenly, you got a little picture of the Virgin Mary back there. And that's a no-go. That gets burned in the pile. So he goes through and he lives his life like that. And the very last scene, he's receiving a traditional Shinto ceremony where he's going to be burned in a little basket. And it zooms in and it shows in his hand he has like a little makeshift cross that he's holding on to. So the whole idea is that he did continue to worship Jesus, but he worshiped him in silence. And I just think, I don't know. I don't know what the overall message of that. You know, it's something to consider. I believe that in our time, we as Christians can be confronted by martyrdom. But my prayer is that I hold to my faith unto death. Because I... I believe that is what the scriptures teach.
1:10:34 I believe that I'm not supposed to be afraid of the people who will put me to death. And even then, I am to allow them to put me to death. Because I serve a higher God and I'm not going to abandon him. And death has no hold on me. If you were to kill me violently, that doesn't take away his resurrected powers. Yeah. If Christ is our example and we are to live as Christ, I just don't see it where in scripture where it says, and as the saints were led by Christ and they survived by living like him, the lambs of God, the fruits of his labor, they all pulled out their Uzis and killed everyone on earth. Said nobody ever. So I think that it's very clear in the Bible what's going to be happening in the time. And we are like lambs to the slaughter. There is going to be a time where the world has their way with us.
1:11:38 And then God comes just before that time. And so I think it's going to get very interesting. And I think that I've had many people say, and not necessarily Christian people, Christian friends, but they say, you know what, Brad, you need to go get your guns. You need to go get your... Oh, great. Now I'm going to be like... There's a banner at the bottom. I don't know my video because I said the G word. But I just don't... I mean, I don't think it's... I'm not getting political here, but I don't think it's necessary that I do that to destroy people that could come to Christ. So that's all I'm going to say about that. And I believe that God will allow martyrs to experience death for the faith insofar that... Forgetting of the faithful's blood does lead more people to the church.
1:12:36 I think there is going to be a certain time where everyone is sealed with God's name or they've accepted the mark of the beast. There's no more middle ground. At that point in time, I do not anticipate that anybody will be killed for their faith in God because what good does that avail at that point? I could be wrong. This is one of those things where it's a theory of mine that I'm putting out there, but I believe that the whole... The whole purpose of you dying for your faith is a demonstration unto others. It's part of your testimony to say, I am so invested in this that I will die and that the things of this world mean nothing to me, which ultimately they should, whether or not you're going to be killed for your beliefs. But anyway, I know it's a heavy topic, but I do think it's important that we as Christians come to that realization and talk about it because sometimes I've talked to people about martyrdom and, you know, that you could be... You could be killed and they really don't like it. It's like, no, no, no, no. Not going to listen to it.
1:13:34 Not going to have it. I will do whatever and kick and scream and curse. And it's like, well, is this the example that Jesus set? No. You know, he was being led to the cross and he said, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. Such a hard thing. I mean, you look back on that and you think, oh, yeah, you know, if they were going to kill me, there's nothing I can do. I knew I'm in Christ and I can just say that. No. You got to really think about this really hard. How? How difficult that is to someone that is... I mean, think about it this way. You were completely innocent and someone brings you to court. Someone brings you to... Maybe let's start at even easier. You lose your job because of something stupid, silly, absolutely not immoral, not wrong. Their boss just decided, hey, he don't want you anymore.
1:14:26 So that... Now take it to the next level. That's infuriating, right? Now you don't have an income. Take it to the next level. Let's go to a court case, right? They take you to court. They take all your money away. That's infuriating. You might want to do something bad to them. No, a good Christian shouldn't. You got to keep the standard. Let's take it to the next level. Not only do they want to take everything from you, they want to take your family too. That's infuriating. That makes you want to do something bad to them. You got to maintain your Christianity. Now we're getting to see exactly how difficult it is to... And how in Christ you have to be. Because taking it to the last level is you are nailed to the cross naked or almost naked for everyone to see.
1:15:17 And you know you're going to be out there for days, perhaps. And the sign above your head is going to be like, you know what, this person has done terrible things. They're going to try to humiliate you before they kill you. I'm not saying this is what's going to happen to you. I'm not saying that you're going to go through this. You might. It's historical. It's true. This is what has happened to our Christian brothers and sisters who have died. But I want to make one point. I think what's amazing about this is that Christ still said forgive them despite every single one of these hardships. He says forgive them. They know not what they do. How... How hard is it to do that? It's very difficult. Very, very hard. But nothing is impossible with God.
1:16:12 I agree. Yeah, and only with God. I mean, that's how you're going to be able to maintain your composure to do any of that. There's one more part of this article that we'll read. And we'll see what we have to see here. Too small now? No, it's all right. I can read it. You can enlarge it if you'd like. Great. The filmmaker was also joined by the Pope for the launch of the book Sharing the Wisdom of Time in 2018 where he stooped to kiss it's a typo on their part the hand of the leader of the Catholic Church. So he kissed his hand. It's just like a crazy thing that people do that with the Pope. But yeah, they do. Scorsese spoke. He spoke with La Civita Cattolica at the same time about the movie and his own religious beliefs.
1:17:09 Well, I'm interested in how people perceive God or, I should say, how they perceive the world of the intangible, he explained. After many years of thinking about other things, dabbling here and there, I'm most comfortable as a Catholic. I believe in the tenets of Catholicism. I am not a doctor of the Church. I am not a theologian who could argue the Trinity. I'm certainly not interested in the politics, the politics of the institution. But the idea of the resurrection, the idea of the Incarnation, the powerful message of compassion and love, that's the key. So it seems like that little statement right there seems pretty good, right? I'm all about the resurrection, the Incarnation of Jesus, and having compassion and love for my fellow man and love for God. That's great, but let's read on a little bit more. Scorsese was raised as a Catholic and attended a Catholic school as a child.
1:17:59 However, his religious films, have not been without controversy. In 1988, Scorsese adapted the book The Last Temptation of Christ, which depicted Jesus with both a sexual desire and allowed him to think about the possibility of going against his true calling, dying for our sins. The production was met with strong opposition globally, leading it to be axed by Paramount, and after the film was picked back up again by Universal, the evangelist and producer Bill Bright offered to buy the film's negative from Universal in order to burn it. Wow. Yeah, so that was one of his previous endeavors into making a movie about Jesus. It ended up stirring up a lot of controversy and depicted the whole idea of this desire that he had, too, was towards, of course, Mary Magdalene, which if we know anything about these secret societies, Rosicrucianists believe this, I believe Knights Templar believe this as well, probably branches of Freemasonry, whatever, that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and had children with her, and that there is a bloodline stemming from Jesus and Mary Magdalene's marriage, which I don't know.
1:19:25 I don't believe. Wow. I don't believe that Jesus was sexually involved with any of his creation, because I think he loved us on that level of a creator. It's much like, I mean, that's why we even see the figure of the Father, the Father's love. It's like, this is a different kind of love, people, than the love you maybe have for a spouse. It's not the love that Jesus had for us was the type of love to lay down his life and die, not to become, not to come down to earth and become romantically involved with his creation. That's not what Jesus was all about. Private audiences with the Pope are usually strictly reserved for heads of state, government leaders, new Vatican ambassadors to the Holy See, or groups of bishops in an ad lamina visit, which, for those of you who don't know, every five years, bishops have to make a kind of a pilgrimage to the Pope, and you have to pray before the tomb of Peter and Paul, and you go and you meet with the Pope. It's a big thing, but it's like the head bishops have to go through this and do this every five years, and that's what ad lamina is. Now you know! Although every Wednesday morning, the Pope is seen by worshippers at a general audience. Yeah, he goes up to the balcony or whatever, and I think he also does stand before an altar and kind of do his thing, but that's Martin Scorsese's relationship with the Pope.
1:21:01 It's very strange to have, I don't know, like it's saying, someone who is a filmmaker getting to have these private audiences, but he got it, and obviously it's because he has a level of influence that the Pope is interested in, and would like to meet with him and maybe give him some notes on what he expects from this new film. Oh, that's something. That is something. Now, since we're on the topic of Pope Francis and the Catholic Church in general, there was an article from this morning that I just want to go over briefly. It's not a very long article, but I saw this and I thought, whoa, okay, these are some words that you wouldn't expect to see. Pope Francis, this is a quote, without liturgical reform there is no reform of the Church.
1:21:59 Speaking specifically on the theme of the Assembly's 2024 meeting, the Pope noted that their work must focus on making formation more accessible. What does that mean? I'm glad that you asked. I have here on the next slide the definition of liturgy, which is the form of liturgical. Liturgy is a form or formulary, like a formula, according to which public religious worship, especially Christian worship, is conducted. It's talking about a religious service conducted to a liturgy, the Eucharistic service of the Eastern Orthodox Church. So he's talking about how masses are conducted. He's talking about how other things, blessings would be conducted. The Pope has come under fire recently for saying that you can bless same-sex couples. It's not the same as, we're not going to marry them necessarily, but we're going to give them a blessing.
1:22:55 If a man and a man or a woman and a woman come up to you as a Catholic priest, you should be blessing that relationship. It's something that you're going to condone. So that's when he's talking about a reform, a liturgical reform specifically, he's talking about we have to change the way that the public is receiving this worship. I think it's really crazy that he's even saying that. Especially because the whole point of the Protestant Reformation was all centered around reform. So you have to imagine that if he's saying there's going to be a reform, I don't think it's going to be a reformation that's going to bring people closer to the Bible. I think he's going to take what is already antithetical to the Bible and just go even farther in an attempt to get more people involved with these services, this worshiping. So check it out. I'll read some of this article for us. Sorry, my button's not working. Okay, there we go. We're good. Pope Francis met with members of the Vatican's Dicastery of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments on Thursday morning, this morning, to discuss the importance of liturgical reform as a core feature of the broader renewal of the Church.
1:24:29 The address comes as the Dicastery is meeting for its annual plenary assembly which is addressing the liturgical formation of sacrosanctum consulium and desiderio desideri for ordained ministers as well as liturgical training courses for the people of God. The meeting will also seek to provide bishops with practical suggestions for developing pastoral projects in their diocese which dioceses are like their area of influence, like regions, essentially, with the aim of putting into practice the reflections of the papal document, a February 5th press release from the Dicastery stated. Recalling that it has been 60 years since the promulgation of the Second Vatican Council's seminal document on the liturgy, sacrosanctum consulium, the Pope stressed in his February 8th address that liturgical reform underscored the Council Father's objective in renewing the Church's fundamental dimensions such as spiritual, pastoral, ecumenical, and missionary work.
1:25:41 Without liturgical reform there is no reform of the Church, the Pope said. A Church that does not feel the passion for spiritual growth, that does not try to speak in an understandable way to the men and women of this time, that does not feel the pain for the division between Christians, who does not tremble with anxiety of announcing Christ to the people, is a sick Church. And these are the symptoms the Holy Father emphasized in his address. What do you think about that, Brad? Well, I think it's interesting that he's going this far with that. I mean, that's incredible. Do you notice here, I just want to take a look at these symptoms of a sick Church. Okay? So we've already established that the Pope is not a big fan of fundamentalist Christians. So let's look at it through that lens. We have to think of this as the Pope talking. So what does he mean? Who is he talking about? Does not feel the passion for spiritual growth.
1:26:46 This, I believe, means growing beyond your simple understanding of the Bible. That does not try to speak in an understandable way to the men and women of his time. When we preach the Gospel message straight out of the Bible, how many people say that's an ancient book? You know, it's useless. You're stupid for clinging to this book. It's written by the people who are just walking around in Birkenstocks and togas on. Really? That's who you're taking your moral advice from? Well, yes, I am absolutely going to take my moral advice from this book. But, you know, to a lot of people it's not understandable. There's language in the Bible that even if you go through translations that are considered more friendly, there are still concepts that need to be explored and understood. It isn't always easily understandable. They have to have a hunger for it and dive into the Word. But does not feel the pain for the division between Christians. This isn't an exact address on the ecumenical situation. Because, of course, it's painful that there are people who are being misled, people who are being deceived and will go under the banner of Christian and are doing things that God doesn't want them to do.
1:28:02 But the pain of the division, that Jesus talked about how he would cause division, he would cause division on a familial level, you know? Be pitting family members against each other. He's not coming to bring a peace, he's coming to bring a sword. That is, whenever I see people who say they don't like divisions, it's like, yeah, fundamentally it might be uncomfortable, but Jesus said that's what he's going to do. That's what his presence is all about. So I think that each one of these points, you could just take it, and when you look at it through that understanding of, okay, who does the Pope really not like? He really doesn't like fundamentalist Christians, he really doesn't like people who follow the Bible and take that as their authority, suddenly it makes a lot of sense, and you can see that reflected in his words that it's more of a those are the people that are on his mind when he's talking about that. Fascinating. I've got one more little... No, no, no. I'm sorry. I got distracted by an email from Stephanie Griffin, she was on the show last year, not an email, a message. She is telling me something about what I said earlier and it's really fascinating, but I'll save it for a post-show. Anyway, go for it.
1:29:21 Okay. I'll finish out the article here. This isn't good. Well, that wasn't good. It's fine, I'm right here. No, it wasn't you, it was me. It said the whole thing was offline for a second. Alright, let's just hold on for a second, let's make sure we're still on here. Everybody hear us? We're on. That was exciting. That's the first time that's ever happened here. Yeah. Well, as I was saying, I hope I'm not boring anybody by reading an article like this. I know there's a lot of weird language in here and odd stuff, but I think this is really important. My understanding is that the Beast of Revelation, I think 100%, I think it's the Catholic Church. I take what the Pope says very seriously.
1:30:09 Even if you don't hold that view, I've talked to enough people who are Protestant who have the understanding that the Catholic Church, it's not up to any good, and that the Pope, yeah, he's not a good figure. He's not necessarily on the side of Christ. So, I think it's so important we talk about this. And what he talked about here, this is also really wild to me. When I read this, I knew I had to put it on the show. The Holy Father, I'm going to put that in the heaviest air quotes I could possibly muster, also noted that liturgical reform is predicated upon a love for Christ by highlighting the theological representation of the church as Christ's bride, saying every instance of reform of the church is always a question of spousal fidelity. The church is a woman. The church is a mother. The church has its figure in Mary and the church woman. Yeah. Well, calling the church a mother, that's funny because it talks about how the horror of Babylon, I believe, says that she will not mourn the loss of children as a mother to all these other children who have gone astray.
1:31:27 So, that's an odd thing, saying that the church is a mother. I don't know. The Pope added that the church is more than Peter. Everything cannot be reduced to ministeriality. The woman in herself has a very great symbol in the church as a woman without reducing her to ministeriality. This is why I said that every instance of reform of the church is always a question of spousal fidelity because she, the church, is a woman. The Pope also reflected on the centrality of the liturgy in our lives. The centrality of the liturgy. It's more important than this is what needs to be central to your life. Saying that it is the place for excellence in which to encounter the living Christ, which continues to animate and renew baptismal life. So, the way that you have an encounter with the living Christ, the way you essentially have a relationship with Jesus, isn't through necessarily your prayer life, isn't through your studying of the word. It's through the liturgy. It's through the form, the formula of worship that is given to the public by the church. This is your milk. This is what will sustain you. It's coming to us and engaging in those rituals. The Pope also said that it is his desire that the Dicastery undertakes this work in collaboration with the Dicastery for Culture and Education, the Dicastery for the Clergy, the Dicastery for the Institutes of Concentrated Life, and Societies of Apostolic Life to reflect the spirit of synodal collaboration. And I hope you get out of that last paragraph just a sense of how bureaucratic the Catholic Church is.
1:33:13 A lot of people don't understand that. I know that a lot of other denominations have some form of central, I don't know, committees or whatever. The Holy See, as it is called, is, um, it's a government. That's what it is. It's a political power on Earth. I've said it before, but go ahead. You want a fun exercise? Go ahead and just punch into Google, what is the smallest country on the face of the Earth? And it's going to tell you Vatican City is the smallest country on the face of the Earth. And it certainly is a country. It has a political power. It is a spiritual power. I believe it is a woman. And it's also riding on a political beast. Ah, there you go. And that is the marriage that we see defined in Revelation. It's funny to see him acknowledge it himself. Yeah.
1:34:05 Wow, Matthew. This is power. This is power packed. This is something that is important to bring back and reveal. And the devil is absolutely working on you and your camera tonight. That's for sure. I try to distract people from all that is going on. And I feel I feel your your your sitting on the soapbox talking about this is very important to you. So I'm glad you brought this out. And it's all tied to the Super Bowl. Because this all came from that Super Bowl commercial that ran you down the rabbit hole of showing all this stuff that's happening right now. And how much of Hollywood is already involved in Catholicism. How much Catholicism is already involved in ufology. And how all this is tied together really blows my mind. I mean, it really does.
1:35:04 I look at this stuff all day, every day. At least once, twice, three times a week. And I'm just like, man. There's the Catholic Church again. There's the Catholic Church again. There's the Catholic Church again. And there is Matthew. Welcome back. I'm sure you heard me the whole time. I did. It just amazes me. That's for sure. The interconnected nature of it. It really does blow my mind sometimes. All you need to do is you just tug on a thread and suddenly it leads everywhere. That's really what it was for me. And coming to the truth, I was one of the people that I had to see how bad things really were before I accepted Christ fully. Before I really threw myself down and said, I need help here. Because I had no idea just how bad it was. But once I got an idea of how bad it was, it's like, okay, well, how good is it going to be? How good are you, God?
1:36:06 And the great thing about it is that the love of God will drive out the fear. The love of God will drive out the anxiety. I don't necessarily think you should have anxiety when preaching the Word of God. It's another thing that Pope Francis said that if you don't have anxiety when you're going to bring the message of Jesus and you're a sick church, I don't know. I don't think you have to have anxiety. Yeah, there's some people who get nervous public speaking. That's fine. I get that. But there should be a joy. You should be happy to share this message. You should be happy to spread the Gospel news because it is good news. This is the best news I can possibly give. You know, it starts with your situation is miserable. You're bound for death. Satan is in control of all the powers of the world, but and then you give the giant but and you introduce God and you introduce the whole Jesus Christ. What did he do on the cross for you? What does he have planned for the future?
1:37:02 What does he say he's already going to do? We're not living in the dark, folks. We know what's going to happen. Satan's going to get stomped. He's going to get a heel to the head done. I mean, he's already kind of received it on the cross, I believe. That is something because death was essentially abolished at the cross because our sins were paid for by Jesus' perfect blood. But he's going to receive even more beatings in the future. And he's totally deserved them. They're totally warranted at this point. But just hang tight. Just notice how all of this is coming together and I think it's just a sign of the time. We're headed towards an expected end. That's something to be happy about. Thank you. That's fantastic. Thank you for that presentation. Thank you, Brad. I know I had to do a lot of reading tonight and all that, but I think you hung in there well, buddy.
1:38:00 That's fine. Brad had a long day. Brad's managing two contractors and five builders right now and also taking people to houses and managing their inspections and all this other stuff that happens as a real estate agent. And so I have been everywhere, man, today and I am exhausted physically, mentally, but not spiritually. This was fantastic. I appreciate that. But it's good to sit down and actually not use my hands for a little while. Yeah, of course. I'm glad you made it on here and everything worked out pretty well for us. I think we had a lot of fun. How's everybody in the chat doing tonight? Good. I've seen some really good conversation.
1:38:54 10-15 minutes here. I see Rachel says that she got in trouble for talking about Jesus at work. I still pray with patience anyway. That's a shame. That's something that's put out there. It's like you can't even share your faith without people threatening to punish you. You know, I think that's the Daniel type situation you might have on your hands where it's like, you know, God is instructing me to do one thing and you're telling me to do another thing. I'm going to go with what God said. And at the end of the day, you know, whatever you do is what you do. So good on you for praying with your patience. I think that the sick especially are in need of prayer. I think we're all in need of prayer, but when you're sick, when things are going wrong, you feel like, I need this prayer, especially now when the chips are stacked against.
1:39:48 Absolutely. I love it when you guys talk. You know, it's funny. I always listen to, and I thank you Hans for really tooting the horn tonight. He's telling everyone, hey, hit that like button, hit that subscribe button, because if you like this content and you want to hear more of it, join our Patreon, patreon.com slash strangenormal. You're going to want to chat with us 24-7, 7 days a week. That's where we are. And most of the people that are in here in the chat, I see right now, our live viewers are our most favorite people, because they catch us live. A lot of them, a lot of them are already in that Discord. So we'll see you when we see you. But yeah, and all you guys, I've been looking up through the chat, trying to find any questions or anything that you guys are talking about. Thank you, Paul Terry. He says, Mousebearer loves you every single time. I love it.
1:40:50 That's his signature. Yeah. Yeah, I love it too. Sarah here has an interesting point. Even though God knows what we need before we ask it, it's important to ask Him. And she also follows up with, you have not received because you have not asked. And that is, that's the truth. That's, I think that's something that even I when, it's funny because I'll include that in my prayers. Sometimes I'll pray for something and I'm like, God, you know what I need. And all that. But I want to tell you. And I think that's part of that gentlemanly nature that God has. Really just respecting you and your agency, the agency He gave you. That free will that He gave you to engage with Him on a loving level and have a relationship with Him. He's not going to coerce you. He's not going to just sit there and, you know, poke you around. He's like, okay, do you want, do you want my help? Do you want this from me?
1:41:48 Just ask. I'm happy to get it. But I'm not going to foist it on you. But, you know, you're welcome to ask in faith. Yep. Yep, absolutely. Let's see, who else? Bridget says, anyone have advice for how to start the conversation? I want everyone in my life to reach heaven, but I don't want to come on too strong. Brad, do you have any ideas about that? Reach, have advice on reaching, or starting a conversation about this. Or just in general. Is it, the spiritualism is the major thing that's going to happen. Worship and spiritualism, those are the two things coming down the pipe right now. If you want to know what's happening and what's going to happen before Christ comes, you're going to have major problems with worship, major problems with spiritualism. Not just spiritualism like, hoo, you got a psychic down the road that's doing stuff. That's silly.
1:42:46 You got spiritualism like dead people appearing to you, everybody. Leaders and regular people alike that's coming down the pipe. If you want to talk about things, start out with, hey, let's talk about correct worship. Let's talk about correct, what is spiritualism? What can these spirits do? Well, let's look at the Witch of Endor, let's look at these other things. These kind of crack conversations and some of them are a little bit charged, so you got to kind of know your stuff before you get into them, but it's very, very, very, very good information that everyone needs to know right now. Yes. I would say a big part of it too is just to also let the spirit lead you. And you can ask in prayer that God puts words in your mouth. This is what happened for Jeremiah. Jeremiah had that concern. I'm just a child. How am I going to go forward and preach the word? He said, there, I put my words in your mouth. Now you can go and do it. And that's something that we have at our disposal. So if you're ever nervous or worried and you feel like I really need to say something, I don't know what to say, I don't know how to start it, bring that to God. Pour it out before him. Say, I'm feeling this way. I want to do this for you. Please help me to labor for you. And you'll be really, you'll be surprised at some of the things that happen. These are like, you know, sometimes people think they're like many miracles. I think they're massive miracles. When you go up to somebody and you are just all of the scripture that's flooding into your mind and you're saying you know, like you have a thought and you bring up a point. I remember I've talked to some people, random people, just about stuff. And it's like, wow, you know, that was what I needed to hear today. It's like, okay, don't, you don't need to tell me anything about your situation, but I believe you, you know.
1:44:48 And pray with people too. I think it's important because if I ever evangelize to people, especially like random people, because it's happened. It's happened for me multiple times. I come across in different situations people, sometimes people crying in public. I mean, if you ever see somebody crying in public, that's not, I know we're in kind of a new age where mental health is more embraced. You know, crying definitely used to be more taboo at a certain point where it's like, don't cry, suck up your feelings, whatever. If you see anybody crying in public, that means they're having a bad day. And you can, I think, approach them thoughtfully, prayerfully, and can let them know that there's a God who loves them. And that despite what they're experiencing, He's there for them. And you can offer prayer as well. I think that prayer is powerful because ultimately through praying with that person too, they're joining you in prayer and they're putting their heart with that. You're, you know, it's a knock at the door. And, uh, Jesus said that He's knocking, so hopefully them praying with you, it's like an answering of the door. Yeah, very good. Yeah, yeah. You've said it all. I didn't have to say anything. That's it. Don't argue, just ask. Yeah, Christine Laxton says, thank you. Yeah, and that's the hard thing.
1:46:14 You want to meet it. You want to meet their understanding in time. But at the same time, you don't want to appear as the wrong character too. And so, yeah. Hans has a good recommendation. Use your unique gifting to reach those with the gospel. And that is, that is true. We all do receive spiritual gifts. We don't all receive the same spiritual gift. And Paul was clear in his letter that these gifts are for the edification of the church. It's not to uplift you. It's not to put you on a pedestal. It's not to walk up to somebody and be, you know, Mr. Confident or whatever, you know. Like, look at me and I know all this knowledge and all that stuff. No. All glory to God. At the end of the day, that's what you have to do. It's like, the mind that I possess, personally, I know that the mind that I possess, some of the attributes that I have, these are endowed to me by God.
1:47:14 And they're not for, they're not to be misused. It's to properly labor for God. And that is something that you can get in touch with. Find out what gifts you have. And ask God. Say, I want to do this. That's a big thing. I really think. Those of you who want to labor for God, tell Him that's what you want to do. And you will have opportunities. Trust me, a hundred percent. There will be opportunity in your life. I am testifying at this point that I have done that. I've prayed and I've said, I want to do something for you. And He's come through every time. I know I'm frozen. That's okay. You've been frozen. Well, why don't we put a bow on this if you want, Brad. Do you want to close us out in prayer? Sure. Yeah, that's cool.
1:48:06 Let's pray. Father God, thank you so much for giving us time to come before you. And guiding our conversation and giving us wisdom where we might even fall short. Show us further information that we might present your truth and not just be a lake that fills with water but does not have an output in the Dead Sea. Let's be living creatures and guiding others to Christ every day. Focus our life on you and help us through our own difficulties. And step by step gaining glory to glory getting into your kingdom soon. We love you. In Jesus' name. Amen. Folks, I might be closing this program. Go ahead, Brad, you close it out for us. You do the thing. I don't know what the thing is because I don't remember what we say.
1:49:04 Stay cozy, close to the fireside of God. You have to say, we love you. Okay. I think you said it best, Matthew. You just say it. We love you. Good night. See you later, everybody. Have a good one. And I'll see you, everybody else. We'll talk a little bit on after show. Later. Bye-bye. We are closed.
