2:09 Evening, strangers. This is a unique night. We're going to pilot this episode of Fireside. And this is typically we do this on Thursdays. This is going to replace the after show. And before I get too far into it, I want to get Matthew in here. Matthew, this is exciting. This is one of the first episodes of Fireside. How did this come about? Well, we've been running this Thursday show for a while now. And I think it was just time to make it official. We asked the Discord for ideas for names. Jason came up with Fireside, and we really like that one. There's a lot of wealth of scripture that indicates that our God is actually the fiery one. You see a lot in popular media, the devil's the one who appears with the flames.
3:04 But that's not so if you look into the Biblical. It's always God who brings the fire, and fire is called down from heaven. There's so many examples we can give. And if you just take a look at that intro, we've got just verse after verse while you wait for the broadcast that you can kind of meditate on each time you tune in. But this is Fireside. We're running with this in the Thursday night slot. So I hope you all enjoy. It's kind of the same format that you've come to love and expect. A little more laid back, and we're going to go over a variety of topics rather than just covering the UAP angle. Tonight, we're going to be covering some stuff about AI, specifically the company OpenAI, which is responsible for ChatGPT. Which, if anybody is using AI, they're most likely using ChatGPT, specifically GPT-4, which is the latest incarnation of that particular AI.
4:06 You're going to learn a little bit more about it tonight, but before we dive into it, I wanted to keep the tradition alive and take a question from the audience. So I saw this question earlier, and I thought it was a good one to address, because it's not necessarily related to the content of the show, but the shows in general. So, Jia, and forgive me if I mispronounce it. So, Jia, and forgive me if I mispronounce it. So, Jia, and forgive me if I mispronounce it. Mispronounce your name. Could you please make more shorts so that everyone can share your videos? Unfortunately, not many people are willing to listen to this kind of message. The format is too long, but maybe they'd be willing to watch shorts at first. You know, it's funny that you ask this, because Brad and I have been talking behind the scenes about doing just that. About making YouTube shorts, perhaps even taking some of the content that you see in the long form.
5:09 About making YouTube shorts, perhaps even taking some of the content that you see in the long form. And reformatting it into a maybe ten minute YouTube video, ten minutes or less. That way, you guys can share it and just say, Hey, you know, I was watching this show the other night, and this is a segment from that show. I thought it was really interesting. Here, why don't you take a look at it? And it'll be easier for you to share rather than just a big two-hour block. Not that we don't love doing the two-hour blocks or two-hour plus blocks. We know that everybody really enjoys it. We enjoy doing it, and that's not going away. But we want to figure out a means to get the information out and reach an audience that maybe isn't into long form content. But we're very blessed for all of you watching who do enjoy the long form content. You've been a great source of encouragement, constructive criticism. It's really been wonderful. So, I just want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
6:02 Because, you know, without you guys watching and keeping us engaged, and active, I mean, we could still be doing this. We probably still would be doing this. But it's, you know, this is what makes it fun, is the community aspect. Absolutely. And it is Thanksgiving, after all, in the States here. Right. It is. So give thanks. Thank you for what y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all do. I don't know what that was. Don't mind, I haven't had my supper yet. So I'm going to do some ASMR real quick. Oh, there we have it. I told you. It was a more laid back show. Brad's going to be consuming an apple for the duration of broadcast. Don't worry, you'll get opportunities, Brad, because I've got some clips lined up. So while we're watching the clips, you can, you know, mute your microphone so that we don't become an ASMR channel.
7:00 And you can enjoy your apple. And we can all enjoy some of the content that I've put together for us tonight. Awesome. Thank you to the viewer. And yeah, expect some more content, short form content soon. Thank you for your question. All right. So the very first clip that I have here is a CBS news clip, just reporting on some of the information that happens to get us all up to speed. And we can kind of see what's happening because it's big news in the world of the tech industry. What's happening is really strange. A CEO got fired and the majority shareholders over at Microsoft, they only got 15 minutes before the news went public. That just doesn't happen. We're going to talk a little bit about this board and the decisions that they're making.
7:56 But first, let's watch this clip, Brad. Yeah. Everybody kind of put on the same page. And I want to say something about that real quick. This isn't we're not going to just dive into politics on business. This is not what this channel is for. But this is where you got to hang on with us. Because we're going to turn this right around, you're gonna be very interested in where this is going. Oh, you're this clip alone, I better see red flags, because there is a moment in here where any discerning Christian is going to say, excuse me, what, what did that guy just say? It happens everywhere. This is why we're covering AI. Because it you'll see by the end of this broadcast, particularly, that there is an undertone that seems to be repeated over and over. And it's a narrative and we have to expose that narrative. So we go. Look at the clip. Good morning. The last three days have been unlike anything I've seen covering tech over the weekend. It looked like Sam Altman could come back to open AI, but talks collapse. And just this morning, Microsoft, the biggest investor in open AI, has hired him for their own research team and added a second interim CEO.
8:58 This chaotic shakeup having a seismic impact on the future of artificial intelligence. Open AI is the most advanced and the most widely used AI platform in the world now. Sam Altman, the powerful face of artificial intelligence and chat GPT, suddenly fired on Friday as CEO of open AI, just two weeks after making this bold promise. As intelligence gets integrated everywhere, we will all have superpowers on demand. His dismissal by open AI's nonprofit board shocked Silicon Valley. The company said it lost confidence in Altman, that he was not consistently candid in his communications with the board. Adding. The company remains fully committed to its mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all humanity. Since chat GPT launched last November, Altman has been a fixture on Capitol Hill discussing the benefits and threats of artificial intelligence.
9:52 He's traversed the globe meeting with world leaders. Can Americans trust open AI to make AI safe? I think trust but verify. I think it's really important that the government does put sensible policy in place. Altman's dismissal surprised. Open AI's biggest investor, Microsoft, which has invested a reported $13 billion into the company. Just two weeks ago, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella appeared at an event on stage with Altman. How is Microsoft thinking about the partnership currently? First, we love you guys. CBS News learned Microsoft was given less than 15 minutes of notice before Altman's firing was made public. Sam Altman, who I just saw in the hallway here. You're a partner at open AI. Earlier this year, Tony DeCoppol talked with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella about its AI tech developed with open AI. We will have many, many mechanisms to ensure that nothing biased, nothing harmful gets generated.
10:51 In a statement overnight, Nadella said Microsoft has now hired Altman and remained committed to our partnership with open AI and have confidence in our product roadmap. So there you have it. That's the big news. Brad, what do you think? Well. That's the big news. I'm excited about getting my AI superpowers soon. You are. What are you going to go with? What's going to be your superpower? Oh, man. Whatever I could type into ChatGPT, I'm sure it's going to give me. I can't wait. Yeah. You don't even need to choose, do you? You could just have ChatGPT choose for you, which seems to be the direction that we're headed in. As you saw, even that woman was a little bit shaken up saying, yeah, we haven't seen something.
11:40 We're going to do something like this in the tech world. I would say as far as the business world goes, this is an uncommon occurrence that something like this has happened. So something weird is happening at open AI who's developing this software. Go ahead, Brad. Did you have something to say? Well, no. I just have some inside information in this. I don't know if we want to go into this right now or where you're going, so I'm letting you. No, please. If it pertains to open AI, let's hear it. Okay. So my wife is also on our Discord server, but she has her own Discord peeps. People still use that word anymore? That's her friends on there, and one of them works at open AI. And so I have, I'm not going to reveal anybody's name or IGN. Is that a thing? IGN? Is that what they say now? I used to say SN.
12:33 That was screen name. But the interesting thing is that he said... Okay. So, they, Microsoft owned almost half of the whole stock on this thing, and they weren't given hardly any notice on this. And you can't not tell half the company about this major, major development that happened. Also most of the staff, excuse me, all of the board are like under 40. And so that's very unusual for this whole thing. And so you have a very young staff. Okay. That is boarding this thing and pushing it forward. I mean, it's Silicon Valley, and you expect that there are going to be a whole bunch of people there that are kind of pushing this forward. But it makes me kind of nervous, because if they're making these rash moves on spur of the moment, what do you call that when you tap someone on the leg?
13:29 Involuntary, excuse me. A knee-jerk reaction? Yeah, a knee-jerk reaction to this. It tells me where their mindset is, and if they're making these decisions. Interesting. In business, as well as with their employees, with their board, it can't be good. Yeah, I agree with you. It can't be good. It's like there's something weird happening with OpenAI. Not just that it's a company run by a young man. AI is a young man's game. This is emerging technology, and really, it's people who have grown up with the internet, have grown up with smartphones. And everything else that are able to make headway in this field. But there is, there is something more. And we wouldn't be here looking at this unless there was a spiritual aspect to this.
14:25 So here's an article that came out as early as today, because this is a breaking story that we're covering here. This is from Futurism. OpenAI employees say, Okay. Okay. This scientist has been making strange spiritual claims. Great. Feel the A-G-I. Feel the A-G-I. We'll, we'll figure out what A-G-I is in just a minute. Let's read. Let's read the first portion of this article. Okay. Why does it feel like everybody at OpenAI has lost their mind? In what's arguably turning into the hottest AI story of the year, former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was ousted. Okay. rest of the company's nonprofit board on Friday, leading to a seemingly endless drama cycle that's included hundreds of staffers threatening to quit en masse if the board doesn't reinstate him. A key character in the spectacle has been OpenAI chief scientist and board member Ilya Sutskriever, who, according to The Atlantic, likes to burn effigies and lead ritualistic chants at the company, and appears to have been one of the main drivers behind Altman's oustings.
15:50 But clearly, he almost immediately regretted his decision in a bizarre attempt to save face just days later. I never intended to harm OpenAI. He tweeted Monday morning, not long after Microsoft, which owns 49% stake in the company, offered Altman a CEO position. I deeply regret my participation in the board's actions. The entire situation is baffling. OpenAI, which is quickly approaching a $90 billion valuation, has been thrown into a deepening crisis by its overarching nonprofit arm. Effigies? Are you kidding me? No, this is serious. This is what's happening behind the scenes. We'll see a little later on in the article what exactly the effigy is, and I think it's interesting what it represents. But yeah, the ritualistic chanting as well, it's a weird thing that's going on here.
16:49 It's weird enough that people who are in the secular world are identifying some... They're calling it spiritual. I mean, you don't just label something as spiritual. You could call this behavior... I mean... Bizarre, I think, is appropriate. Well, it says bizarre. Bizarre attempt to save face. But I don't think the attempt to save face is necessarily as bizarre as the actions of burning effigies and riling up your company and ultimately ousting somebody in a very heated moment. It seems like when people are taken over by this type of a spirit, they act irrationally. We look at Judas Iscariot, for example. You know, he sold... He sold out Jesus for measly silver, and he wasn't thinking in his right mind. Now, some would argue that he was simply doing it just for money, because it does say in the Bible that Judas Iscariot held the purse and that he was a thief, and he would take money out of there for himself.
17:49 But I think it was more that he was trying to force Jesus' hand. I think he was trying to get Jesus to reveal his power and ascend to the throne, and as one of the twelve apostles... He probably thought, Hmm, I'm going to get a really sweet gig here in the new earth, in this kingdom of God. You know, if only it would just get going. What can I do to jumpstart it? And as we see, when you start thinking against God and start trying to take this into your own hands, ultimately, Satan entered into Judas Iscariot when he went to go and betray Jesus. So, nothing good comes out of these types of weird... It's like you said, like a knee-jerk reaction. It's like, it's just, it doesn't make sense. It's not well-ordered thinking, and that's just, you don't identify that in the character of God. Let's read a little bit more of this article, unless there's something you wanted to add.
18:46 I just want to add some stuff from the chat real quick. I want to... Oh, where is it? Now I lost it. People have been blowing the chat up. So, Zach Smith, I think that's how you say that. He says, so Ghost in the Machine was a documentary. Ghost in the Shell? Is that what it's called? Is that what he's referring to? And let's see. There's another one I thought was pretty funny. I'm laughing at Rocky. He's making smart-out comments, as usual, in the chat. Funny if Brad had some popcorn. Yeah, thanks. So, if I start cracking up, it's probably because of Rocky. Anyway. Just don't choke on your apple, please, Brad. That would be tragic. Some smart Alex in the chat, too. Performing burning rituals always helped my computer work better, too.
19:38 Yeah, what is the connection with computers and burning rituals? This is so weird. I mean, wow. We'll see a little bit more. It's later on in the article. We'll see exactly what the effigy was and what that's meant to represent. Because, yeah, you could misconstrue it as... So, a lot of... There are, like, these weird corporate teams. And building exercises. One of which is, I think at this point it's infamous, the walking on coals. Have you heard about that? Yeah, what was his name? Tony... Tony what? Do you know his last name? Tony... His name slips my mind. It's been a minute since I've heard it. I'm sure he's doing just fine. But I haven't heard his name recently. You're not talking about Tony the... Robbins? Tony Robbins, maybe? Sounds like someone popular.
20:27 He's like a guru. Anyway. Anyway. So, what he would do is he would get you to come out and, you know, you do, like, the trust fall exercises, that type of a thing. It's all mind over matter. And then the big finale was everybody goes out and you walk across the burning coals and you feel no pain. And you just strut across it. So, there's these kind of weird ritualistic things that do take place in a corporate environment. And it's meant to team build, they say. But I think it's weird. It's like a form of brainwashing. And let's read. Let's read a little bit more of the article to find that out. In the meantime, we're getting closer than ever. We're getting a closer than ever peek at what makes OpenAI's power players tick. Case in point. Sutzgeber has established himself as an esoteric spiritual leader at the company, per The Atlantic, cheering on the company's efforts to realize artificial general intelligence, a hazy and ill-defined state when AI models have become as or more capable than humans.
21:33 Sutzgeber has established himself as an esoteric spiritual leader at the company, per The Atlantic, cheering on the company's efforts to realize artificial general intelligence, a hazy and ill-defined state when AI models have become as or more capable than humans. Sutzgeber has established himself as an esoteric spiritual leader at the company, per The Atlantic, cheering on the company's efforts to realize artificial general intelligence, a hazy and ill-defined state when AI models have become as or more capable than humans. Or maybe, according to some, even godlike. Oh, my goodness. What? So, before I continue with this article, I'll flesh that out a little more. But the whole idea behind artificial general intelligence is that it's an AI that, like it says, it has the capability of a human being. So, if you gave it a task, it would go through the same way that a human being would, if I gave anyone in our audience, or you, Brad, something to do, you would be able to get it done. I could just trust, I could leave it in your hands, and you would come out with a product. Well, this is the goal, is to get artificial general intelligence, which I think could be, it's either right around the corner, or it's already here. And it's a... It's... It's... It will be touted as, I think, having its own consciousness, and it'll be considered a person. I am, I think it's very dubious as to what artificial general intelligence could be, because we know that this could just easily be a Trojan horse for a demonic power to come in.
22:44 And what you believe is high technology, and it's just, oh, this is just the latest advancement in AI, it could be some type of a power manipulator. And what you believe is high technology, and it's just, oh, this is just the latest advancement in AI, it could be some type of a power manipulator. presentation built around a clip from the last time we talked about ai uh i'll continue reading unless you have something no no like that no no go for it his frenemy altman that's the guy who got fired has long championed attaining agi as openai's number one goal despite warning about the possibility of an evil ai outsmarting humans and taking over the world for many years still the atlantic's new details are bizarre even by the standards of tech industry wackadoos feel the agi feel the agi employees reportedly chanted per the atlantic a refrain that was led by sutskiver himself the chief scientist even commissioned a wooden effigy to represent an unaligned ai that works against the of humanity only to set it on fire what this is all open ai this is all open ai in particular uh so the wood the wooden effigy that we've been hearing that got burned it says right here it represents unaligned ai that work against the interest of humanity uh i saw that and i immediately a little alarm was going off in my head because if you're going to be burning an effigy of of an intelligence that doesn't want what the rest of humanity wants and you're going to burn it it makes me think what's going to happen to christians when eventually there is a strong delusion that overtakes the rest of humanity i think we already know we know that there is going to be a period of martyrdom for the people in the christian faith that's that's scripture that's unavoidable it's going to happen i think it's something that can be done with dignity though i think it's something that you can face down and say my life for christ's of course he gave up his life for me what greater love is there than this than for me to give my life for my faith in my creator the whole thing about this ai and uh yeah it's just like it's so weirdly symbolic there's so much going on with it because when we look at something like a non-humanist intelligence that's kind of what they're getting at with an artificial general intelligence and even humanity i'm sure they could just label us as a general intelligence if aliens came and seeded us on the planet does that make us artificial general intelligence because somebody else created us and put us here yeah i see where that could go yeah what are your thoughts on this wow so well i'm still stuck on the effigy thing i i see where that could go i still don't understand why in the world someone would see in high school i thought it was kind of weird at one time when we put all our our problems on a paper and then put them in a pot and burned it and i thought well that's kind of strange it's just it's just it's a paper what are you doing here but um i i think it's um it's a whole nother level to actually make an effigy uh something that looks like something and what is agi feel the agi um this is the artificial general intelligence oh that's that's what that's right that's what that means yeah feel the art they're they're chanting because they're like bring it on they they want this artificial general intelligence wow that's which we'll see a little later on in the broadcast but we we're going to look at a very uh special guy who is well known and respected in the public eye and i he has a little theory that i think he might be right about but we'll get to that we'll get to that soon enough would you like to know just a little more about the artificial general intelligence?
27:20 about this subscriber character i managed to find a video and i just i cropped it up a little bit i could have gone into a deep dye on this guy and maybe we will based off of these latest developments he's doing some really weird stuff thinks of himself as an esoteric spiritual leader why don't we hear from him right this has got to be an eccentric guy he's got to be crazy oh let's take a look at the clip and see what this guy's like plain god scientists have been accused of playing god for a while is this him this is him but there is a real sense in which we are creating something very different from anything we've created so far yeah i mean we definitely will be able to create completely autonomous beings with their own goals and it will be very important especially as these beings become much smarter than humans it's going to be important to to have these beings the goals of these beings be aligned with our goals huh i feel that technology is a force of nature i feel like there is a lot of similarity between technology and biological evolution it is very easy to understand how biological evolution works you have mutations you have natural selections you keep the good ones the ones that survive and just through this process you're going to have huge complexity in your organisms we cannot understand how the human body works because we understand evolution but we understand the process more or less and i think machine learning is in a similar state right now especially deep learning we have very simple a very simple rule that takes the information from the data and puts it into the model and we just keep repeating this process and as a result of this process the complexity from the data gets transformed transferred into the complexity of the model so the resulting model is really complex and we don't really know exactly how it works you need to investigate but the algorithm that did it is very simple that was a fascinating clip there was so much there there's something in the middle i want to remember even too um wow go for it lead it because i i gotta i gotta remember i'm gonna go back to see what he just said the middle there you mind no go ahead to have these beings the goals of these beings be aligned with our goals yeah that was huge okay so the reason i want to go back and look at that is because the goals of these beings being aligned with ours it's almost as if we're i mean we are essentially playing god i mean i know that's almost a cliche thing to say but um this is what's happening right now whether i mean he he doesn't believe this because he's believes in evolution but are you are you pick are you tracking what i'm tracking right now because what's happening here yeah is is he's like he's essentially saying this from a biblical perspective he's saying we have to make sure that these things don't sin we have to make sure that they're on the same playing field that they're abiding by the laws of love and if they're not that's gonna be hairy scary for us because um it's it's dangerous so let me let me take that can i take that and just move it one little yard further down the field okay so you're saying that they must be it's as if uh how god looks at us and says they have to be in line and not sin against me well he's talking about ai and he specifically is saying that he wants it in line with human interests what does the bible say about the heart of man yeah yeah yeah so we don't have good interests in mind the heart of man is wicked and who can know it so i think it's interesting that he's saying we need to you remember i robot will smith they had a thing in there where they had to obey the three laws okay it was a fascinating thing because it's the same thing it's almost like it's art imitating life or his life imitating art because he's taken it seems from that movie and saying yeah we have to have some we have to align this thing correctly but you what you're saying is if we align it to how
32:12 humans think it's never going to be correct hmm fascinating that's right that's right also what really struck me when i saw this was i expected him to be more of a uh charismatic outgoing guy because i read that article before i looked him up and i thought this guy's gonna be wild you know how there's sometimes in the world of tech there's a rock star like an elon musk you know he goes up and he's just like oh yeah and he's making memes and he's laughing and he's buddy buddy and people want to hang out with him you take a look at this guy it's like i don't know you necessarily want to hang out with him but he seems to be into the ai and more than that when he's in with his company when he's in with his people i think he kind of lets loose a little bit and the man behind the mask is one that's a little more wild than we're seeing here yeah much darker i would say also you caught that he was talking about evolution and selective processes the lie of evolution has done such tremendous damage on so many levels it's it's almost not surprising that now ai is incorporating this idea because it's an all consuming lie if you start to accept evolution as your origin you completely do away with god mm-hmm evolution doesn't allow for god and not only that i mean this whole idea that it's the survival of the fittest and this is just a matter of who can be stronger who can who can bludgeon the other one to death i mean where was the who's the committed the first murder it was cain killing his brother abel was that survival of the fittest or was that disobedience to god was that jealousy over his brother and was that him just not being so willful that he wouldn't capitulate to what god had wanted and had asked him i mean if cain had turned his heart away from the sin that god warned him he was going to commit then that murder wouldn't have taken place now i don't think that murder in general would never have happened but that specific instance of murder i think could have been avoided had cain humbled his heart but he didn't and we saw what came out of it fascinating yeah i think i think we're on that path right now and i i'm i'm willing to guess that this guy this is one of the now how does he play into the whole um uh kicking the president out was he he was one of them he was one of the guys that led this idea is that how that worked yes he is the chief scientist and he is a member of the board and they're saying that he is the one who spearheaded the initiative he was the one that was like we need to get him out and not only that but the sam altman who got fired he's the one who's been warning warning uh he's been going forward with but he has been saying warnings about this couldn't get really dangerous we're playing with fire uh in a way it's like elon musk put it he said with ai technology we're summoning the demon that's what's going on and open ai's headquarters really i know that there are a lot of people involved with the company and i don't think that anyone who's an employee there is necessarily some uh servant of satan or a pawn you're just working your job but you have to look at the situation and you have to look look with discerning eyes and say okay who are who's in charge of this company who has the power to oust the ceo and what are his beliefs yeah yeah and we know that there is power in the spiritualism that he's imposing through effigies and all this other stuff i mean it wouldn't be such a prominent uh figure in hollywood in the music industry if it wasn't and um so that in and of itself if if the people are listening to this from open ai or if you know someone that's working uh at ai open ai i think it's it's a valid to give them some warning and say this is this is a major problem you can't mix the spiritualism with with this uh open ai stuff in fact it reminds me of a clip i i i actually uh i listened to it's from that raw material stuff i gotta bring this out it just reminded me of this i should have brought it to you but they when they were channeling this stuff they said that the the artificial intelligence was something they were very excited about and this was like 30 40 years ago they were they were doing this channeling and so this this is obviously something big that is happening uh right now and it's going to become very spiritual if it already hasn't yes in the chat we actually have uh someone trevolt says i
37:10 don't think there's anything inherently spiritual about ai i'm in the computer science field and the reason they don't have a spiritual field is because they don't have a spiritual field i don't know how it learns is because it teaches itself well you're right it does teach itself and it teaches itself to such a degree that they lose track and like you said it's it starts simple but it gets so complex that the people who created the algorithm need to investigate the decisions that the ai is making because they don't understand necessarily how it came to those conclusions yeah so they have to go back through data sets and sift and sift and sift and say how how did this happen yeah it's a weird field to be in for technology when it's just uh essentially creating itself in front of you it's creating i would also say that yeah yes and i would also say that is there anything inherently spiritual about it no i don't necessarily think so but then we have to ask about intention and that's what we're trying to show here is that there's a weird spiritual intention here there's a weird desire to have ai replace god or even worse really to have ai help us replace god for humanity to ascend the throne of god and we know from the bible who has said he wants to put his throne above the stars of heaven that's satan himself this is this whole push really it begins with the rebel satan and just pushing against god this whole time and the more i'm looking into ai the more i think it will be a tool that the enemy will use to achieve that now i mean ai could be used for great things we use ai we use ai to uh help generate some of our thumbnails we've used ai to uh censor videos you know when uh brad we did the the one video from liquid death i said brad i really don't want this witch's chant to be played on there i was like i know i want to show that this is what they're putting out but i don't want to have to sit here and listen to it and brad said hold on give me a minute and i said well brad ran it through brad's ai is messing with him maybe it's no but i he he took the video and he handed it over to an ai software he has access to and asked that hey could you dole this part down you mute that out but i still want to hear uh some of the ambient noises so it's not completely muted and it produced the product for us we're able to use that uh so again it's it's an odd thing but you know like cards i think necessarily are oh go ahead sorry brad no yeah i was just waiting for you to finish your thought i want to interrupt you i i i'm also in the computer science field i graduated with a bachelor's in computer science and so i i think it's it is fascinating to see what's going on but we also know that um like you said it's very difficult for people to go back for computer scientists to go back and look at this stuff and go how did this work i'm saying exactly what you said but um in the past you have programming languages you take that programming languages that are are understandable primarily in english and um you throw that into a compiler and the compiler makes binary code which is hard for humans to understand and it throws it into a that's a program it runs on the computer it's just fine you can decompile it usually you can figure out exactly how it worked you can understand why it did this why it did that but with this it's so complex because it's actually figuring it out for itself and it's putting it in its own database they are trying to figure out how it came up with these conclusions how does it make that image how did how did it go towards this thing and with time that's possible but the checks and balances are much less with this so with that said and this is this is my whole concern oftentimes we see uh the demonic realm spiritual realm that uh tries to manipulate things now there's some rules and rules that are in place that are in place that are not in place that are in place that are in place we have a little bit of engagement on this it seems we don't know exactly but it seems that they can't at least they're underground right now they don't want to make it appear as if there is actually an uh a significant spiritual realm because that would reveal and give proof to an idea that there is a god there is something else beyond this which we're seeing reveal more and more later on that's another rabbit trail in and of itself but um if they revealed themselves in this way, or if something changed in the programming, if what happened on the screen was something demonically enticed rather than done through the AI itself, there
41:59 would be no human that would be able to go back and say, that's not right. That's not what the computer is supposed to do. It would be, that's what the AI said. Let's go with it. That has to be correct. Exactly. It's given us this, this product. We'll use it and we'll investigate later. You know, it's one of those things. It's going to be process first, ask questions later, because it's just giving, like you said, it's giving us quick results and it's cutting out a lot of legwork that things that used to take days, weeks, months, that could be done in an instant. It's, it's really crazy. We're the, the times we're living in, things are just accelerating at full speed. Even if it doesn't always feel like it, just know somewhere every like hour of every day, some major development is happening in some field and it's just pushing us closer and closer to that final day, the return of Jesus Christ, which we can, we can all look forward to. Now we're going to change gears a little bit here, not totally changing gears, but we're going to hear from, I mentioned that, very popular guy was talking about AI and this popular guy was talking with a, uh, another guy who's become rather popular. Who are these gentlemen I'm talking about? Ooh, the suspense is building. Well, it's Joe Rogan and David Grush. That's right. David Grush, the chief disclosure behind the UAP movement. He finally made his appearance and he came on to the Joe Rogan experience.
43:40 He experienced Joe Rogan. It's not just a show people. You've got, you've got to experience Joe apparently with his third eye and his logo. Yeah. With the third eye and all of his, uh, his crazy stuff. Oh, spoiler alert. I am not a huge fan of Joe Rogan. I really don't. Uh, there's something about him that grades on me. And I remember when he was first getting big and I was like, Joe Rogan, what? And I like, let's do a little bit. I'm like, I don't see what any, what anyone sees in this, whatever. But then it's, it becomes a number one podcast in the world and blows up. And people really do take the things that he says to heart. And if they're not taking what he says to heart, they're taking the guests because they all come up. They're presented with an air of authority. It's like, you are the foremost expert in this. Tell us what we should think. Give us an opinion, you know, and it, it goes wild places. But that being said, we're not the only ones talking about open AI. So is Joe. And so is David. So let's take a look at this clip. Most people want the newest, latest, greatest thing. And this, there's a motivation to get the newest, latest, greatest thing that I think if you just follow that up to its logical conclusion, it's going to create life. It's going to create, I mean, how many films have been made about this? You know, X Machina and all, all these different films. That's right. Yeah. That's what we're going to do. We're going to, I mean, there's no way we're not going to do that. It's it's if I had If the human race doesn't get wiped out by a media or a nuclear war, we're gonna do that. We're going to make a life form 100%. And it's going to be almost instantaneously able to figure out all the flaws in its own personal programming and make a much better version of itself. If it if it's sentient, if it has the ability to make decisions. Well, I think we're close. I mean, I think I saw some stuff. There's like a open AI fiasco going on right now. And there's rumor that they might have cracked artificial general intelligence, right? AGI. And that's, oh, Jesus, that's, that's frightening. I mean, it was like, was it Sam Altman? I think we're talking about I think there's like a board of open AI. There's some shuffle. I was just removed when I woke up this morning. Yeah. Well, they removed him. But then apparently the shareholders like what the are you doing? And there was so much outrage that they're trying to bring him back. Like instantly. So but but Elon had a very good point. Like, what was the motivation behind that? And when you think about the implications for humanity as a whole, because this is such an emerging technology that's so overwhelmingly powerful. What happened? Like, what's going on? Like, I think this is one of those things where like, we need to know, like, what was the motivation behind your decision? And if it was that he was holding back information about the actual creation of artificial general intelligence, that it's already, it's already happened, and that he's like, hesitant. Wow. Wow. So, so this could be it. This could be the whole thing. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's the whole reason that they with some big toss up is because they Oh, that's huge. Wow. And then does it make more sense that the crowd is cheering feel the AGI? Oh, man, it's already there.
46:56 What if it's just a the company's worst kept secret inside? When you get to the higher ups that Yeah, the stuff that we're putting out to the public, and we're showing people and running now. It's 10 versions behind what we've got behind the closed doors. Do you want to meet the AGI? Meet. Do you want to have a talk with them? Yeah, that's what it is. And I thought that was, to his credit, I think that's pretty insightful. It's David. Yeah, it'll have its own set of pronouns. We've been prepped for it, right? In all seriousness, though, as a society, we have been prepped to accept a general AI and say, you are a person, we care about you, we love you, whatever, we'll listen to you.
47:45 We have been conditioned to accept non-human intelligence, in whatever form that comes in, and anyone who protests is going to be labeled as a bigot. And you're going to get shouted down. And even worse, you're going to get locked up. And then the very worst thing that is going to happen is that they're going to start killing you because you're not capitulating to their demands. All in due time. But, yeah, like I was saying, to Joe Rogan's credit, I think that that's a possibility. I think that Sam Altman being ousted with all of his worries and concerns, maybe he was putting too many shackles on this artificial, or the AGI, Artificial Generalization. And they didn't want those types of shackles.
48:31 They're saying, you're holding back advancement. Kind of reminds me of Lou Elizondo talking to the Pentagon official, and they're saying, no, don't go any further with this UFO question. It's demonic, all right? Stop. Nothing good is coming out of it. What if they have an artificial general intelligence and nothing good is coming out of it? Who knows? We can't verify that right now. One day, we will know. God will allow us a glimpse. Into the history book of this world, I think, and will just give us the closure, really, that we need to say, okay, what was happening there? What was happening there? And satisfy those curiosities. Because I don't think there's anything wrong with being curious about this type of stuff because it directly impacts us. We want to know what's going on here. Yeah. Anyway, that's the take on the intelligence. That's crazy.
49:24 I'm going to ask my sources on that. I'm going to. I've got to find answers to this because I have access to some of the employees, and I'm going to see what's going on. I mean, they might not even know. The underlings? It might be just a leadership thing that we're like, yeah, we – I don't care. I'll take an opinion from someone who's lower down on the totem pole. We could protect your identity, distort the voice, whatever you want. If you're watching this show and you happen to work for OpenAI and you want to get in touch with us, you're a Christian. Yeah, go ahead. We'd love to hear from you, and we'd like to put out whatever information you want to put out while protecting your identity if that's what you would like. And it doesn't have to be live. Just talk to the audience just for a second. If you are watching this and you – I mean, because there's a lot of people, military, everyone that I've had access to, they emailed me and said, hey, look, don't say this, but I'm active in this et cetera field, and there is something weird going on here.
50:28 So if you are in OpenAI, we are not going to bring you on a live show. Don't worry about that. You can protect yourself, and you can review it. You can send it to the Pentagon for all I care to make sure that you're not saying the right stuff. We know how that works, but we do want to hear from you. Soapbox, done. Right. Well, we're going to continue. We're going to watch another Joe Rogan clip. I'm not even going to preface this one. Let's just watch it. Here we go. Bruce Willis, who has some sort of degenerate – That's right. Neurological condition, sold his likeness for the ability to make commercials and all sorts of other things. Like he's essentially saying he's fading, unfortunately, and now he will give this thing, which is this property, which is Bruce Willis, this famous person, and they will be able to create versions of him starring in films.
51:23 Oh, and certainly if you train an AI model just like ChatGPT, you could actually get almost like what they would normally. You could actually get almost like what they would normally say, what their knowledge. A hundred percent. And it's almost like having a permanent historian, too. You could like, you know, if you want to talk to Clint Eastwood about his films in the 60s after Clint Eastwood, you know, passes, you know, may he live forever, but like that would be crazy. It'd be really interesting. I mean, he might actually be able to give you advice. He might be your personal advisor. I know. That'd be cool. I mean, that's probably one of the things that's going to come out of this. But when we think about empathy, we also think about just humor. Human beings and the way we communicate and interact with each other. Empathy is very important. And also compassion and forgiveness. All these things are very important qualities because we recognize that we're very flawed. But when you create something that is not flawed, then the need for empathy, the need for all these things that we attach to human emotions and human reward systems, they will no longer be a significant issue because you're going to be dealing with something that operates on a higher plane.
52:29 It might be. It might be. It might be the answer to all that ails us. That's create humans creating something perfect. That's what he said. A.I. is going to be perfect. This just did. No, A.I. is only as much as you feed it. I mean, yeah, I can kind of parse and stuff. But as soon as it's if anything, we found by this whole sin experiment here on Earth, it's that sin corrupts. And unless you have a maker in there to physically. I mean, what? What I believe is God's actually the amazing thing about it. OK, let me say it this way. Mechanic goes to a doctor and he says, I work on your car. You work on me. Why am I any different? Why do I get paid less? And the doctor says to him, because I work on you while you're still running.
53:22 So it's kind of like that with God. He's working on us. He's changing the neurons in our brain. And while we're still alive and running, if we ask him, hey, I need help with whatever X, Y, Z problem, he will do it because we can't do it on our own. It's a very physical and I'm sure it's a lot more difficult to understand than that. But it's a very physical explanation for all this stuff. God can help us. And so I think that's that's that's worthy to think about, because what we're imposing is that we create A.I. and it can fix itself. I don't believe that's even possible. Well, you've noted this whole standard about A.I. and it basically it takes what it's given and that it's not necessarily perfect.
54:14 Well, what if I told you that A.I. is already corrupted? Bradley, what if I told you that it's it's already capable of violating God's law that be a surprise to you? It's not the next clip, but stick around, folks, because I've got a nice I've got a nice little. Presentation at the end that I think is going to tie all of this together. So definitely stick around. There was something else that Joe had mentioned and Dave. They talked about having these A.I. replicas of dead celebrities that can become your personal assistant and that you can ask for advice. This is just such a huge blunder. First of all, we should be going to God for advice. We should be going to the Bible whenever we want to to look and see how we should behave or act in any given situation. The Bible's got you covered and you can always reach out to God in prayer and he will direct you.
55:06 He will lovingly correct you or he'll encourage you. It's a beautiful situation. I mean, really, God, God is so tender and loving towards us that we should bring everything to him in prayer. Well, aside from that, it's this communication with the dead is what I really want to get at is because we ran on a previous show talking about A.I., how they had the Bible. We had the Bible as an app and you could chat with A.I. versions of Jesus and the apostles and even Satan was one of these A.I. characters you can chat with. Well, what's the difference, really, if we're going to start talking to these these dead celebrities and you see how beloved these celebrities are? I mean, every time someone of any notoriety dies, it's like it plasters the headlines the entire day, depending on how. Beloved they were, you might go a whole week with hearing nothing but so and so died. And, you know, the morning bells are ringing, not to say that it's not tragic when somebody dies, but these are people who you don't necessarily have a deep connection with.
56:15 I think you should be mournful of people passing away, but it gets to a point where it's fanaticism. It gets to a point where it's like you're you're tearing your clothes and you're saying, no, I can't believe that I'll never see him in a movie again or I'll never hear her sing. I'll never hear her sing that song again. And those aren't like the types of things you should really be getting worked up about. I think, you know, that being said, you might miss them enough to want to seek out their company through an A.I. chat that ultimately, as we've demonstrated to on our previous broadcast, could have some really weird implications and some odd things working behind the scenes. You just really you don't know. Who you're talking to when you're talking to A.I. sometimes. That's that's a sad truth. Anything else on that clip or you want to move on to the next? No, I think you hit it on the head. I want to move on to this clip. I'm very curious what you have here.
57:15 This one is is another interesting one because it's a take that I don't necessarily totally disagree with. And I'll explain why after the clip. That's an interesting parallel because you have you know, you're no. Longer maybe apex sentience if you have artificial intelligence, you know, governing certain things. Right. And I think that's also kind of this psychological issue with this UAP issue where we might not be the apex predator. We have we may be that mountain lion. And yes, and we're going to have to be comfortable knowing that we're going to be vulnerable. There's people far superior that may have malevolent intentions, maybe not. I don't know. And. And. And almost be humbled the fact that, like, sorry, we're not the smartest of God's creation and that and that might be really hard for a lot of people to process. And I think that's probably certainly I would imagine one of the deliberations they must have done years ago.
58:15 We're like, oh, we can't disclose because, you know, people are not going to feel comfortable in that worldview. What? OK, so I didn't fully grasp what his context was. Can you fill me in? Yeah, so he is. David Grush is always relating things back to non-human intelligence. That's his thing. So this is taken out of a greater conversation. It kind of meandered a little bit. But then David circled back around to that point without necessarily reinstating what it was he was talking about. But he was talking about A.I. there to begin with. And he was talking about how that's what you heard originally saying about A.I. And then he relates it back to the NHI, which he can't stop talking about, mainly, I think, because he's been ordered to talk. About it as often as possible. And I think he actually likes talking about it.
59:02 I don't think it's a very difficult order for him to follow. He seems to be really into it. Did you finish the whole three hours? Three hours of what? The Joe Rogan experience? Two and two hours and 40 minutes. I couldn't drag myself. I figured I got through about two hours and two and a half hours. And I still want to watch the rest because it's it's relevant. Anyway, I don't want to take away from what you're about. To describe. But it's all about, you know, it's the first time on Joe Rogan for him. So it's interesting to see what he says. Yeah, it is. It's a big deal. What is up with my lights tonight? I don't know. I'm going to I'm going to go ahead and kill him and then bring him up again, because I think there's some timing issue that's that's happening. Go ahead and keep talking. It's going to get weird here for a second.
59:50 So David Grosh said that we may not be the most intelligent, we may not be apex. And this is a point I've touched on before. I believe that we as humanity are not the apex. The Bible lays out this hierarchy, this order. We have angels that are above us. They surpass us in capability. They surpass us in intelligence. They can do very cunning and manipulating things. But infinitely above that order of created being, you have God almighty. And that is the apex. Being that we should all be giving our reverence and giving our worship to because we don't need to worry about the sinister beings who do have it out for us, because, you know, if you allow Jesus into your heart, if you allow God to take hold of you, then who is in you is greater than that which is in the world.
1:00:48 Hundred percent. That's that's a promise that you can take to the bank every single time. This idea, it doesn't unsettle me. It shouldn't unsettle me. It shouldn't unsettle you. If you think that humanity is in control, you're sorely mistaken. We are not in control here. Really, we we are what we are in control of is a choice that we get to make. We get to be in this world, be alive, and we get to observe two systems of worship. We get to see Satan's side and we get to see God's side and we get to make a decision. And ultimately, that decision. That's what's going to create this effect. Where you're either going to be you're drawing closer to God and he's drawing closer to you or you're joining Satan in his rebellion. And that rebellion is abhorrent to God.
1:01:38 He he he hates this rebellion because of all of the sin and all the terrible things that have come from it. I just I there's these points that they bring up sometimes like Dave saying, oh, they must have deliberated it. And they thought humanity can't handle not being number one. Well, at a certain point in time, I'd like to think that enough people had this moral foundation or at least an awareness that there was a spiritual realm and that we weren't number one. So I don't know why that would need to be deliberated in the first place. I think now it would be a much more prevalent topic because people have been deluded into believing that there is nothing higher than the mind of man. Except now it seems they're starting to say, oh, wait, we may have created something that's higher. It's something that's higher than ourselves. And it's in the form of this A.I. Yeah. What a mess. Absolutely.
1:02:35 And it all stems from just a wrong worldview at the very base of it. The root of it is is believing in evolution. If you if you change that worldview a little bit and say, hey, there is actually a creator. There's actually an intelligence out there that created us. Well, it just changes everything. It says there couldn't be. Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. Something that's smarter than us and perhaps even hidden on this earth right now. So I think it's important that we have the correct worldview on that. Totally. This next clip has a little bit of crossover with what you cover on Sunday night, Brad. So I would like for you to just tell me what you think after this clip plays. When you do seed life on planet or you do accelerate.
1:03:23 You do accelerate biological life. You do have some sort of a genetic intervention where you take this thing that it has emerging intelligence and you accelerate it. And that that thing will in turn with all of its desire for innovation and creativity and also all of its desire to control resources and and have power and have influence that it will eventually lead to the creation of what we're seeing. That these things are the next stage of this process. And that maybe we're dealing with one form of that next stage. But there's another stage that's a million years more advanced than that. That's far superior. That doesn't even have a biological limitation in terms of physical space. That it exists completely in some other undetectable realm. That no longer thinks about biological limitations of life and death. And communication. It exists completely in some other space.
1:04:26 That that's what these things are. Yeah, this is a huge crossover. Because I hear them, and I don't think we covered this on the show, but I hear them talking about how they believe that these UAPs are probably not intelligences but they are AI. And they're here and that's why they're able to go from 80,000 feet down to sea level in a matter of a split second and not be smashed to get the side of the spaceship inside. They said they're not biological. They're absolutely probably just AI. They're drones. The premise on that just blows my mind that they think that everything that is, you have to be organic in order to be life. They've created AI and they think they called it life and they think they have biological life to be life? Come on. I think that more than just silicon can be artificial intelligence. More than just...
1:05:19 Yeah. More than just neurons can be intelligence. And I think, yeah, there is a physical aspect to these things and there are different bodies. Who says that? That's just actually in the New Testament, isn't it? There are different bodies and humans are one, one type of body. So that's where I'm going to stand on that. Yeah. I... Something that I wanted to bring up. Oh, man, it just slipped my mind. Forgive me. It's getting late, huh? You hate when that happens. I didn't get too much sleep last night to be honest with you. That's neither here nor there because, oh, man, if I think of it again, I will let you know.
1:06:10 But you did make a good point and that's how you know it's a good point because it threw me off of what I wanted to say. Was that the same thing that you were thinking? Because it might not have been. I... No. No, I didn't have... You want me to play the clip? I'll play the clip again. Oh, no. It's okay. Okay. It's all right. We don't have to do that. Oh, I do. I got it. Yeah. No. So the non-human intelligences and AI, I'm seeing it more and more overlap. I'm seeing this idea that either we are being visited by artificial intelligence or, and I think this is more plausible as to what would be presented to humanity. Is these are advanced life forms. These are non-human intelligences, but they have created their own general artificial general intelligence. They have the sentient conscious intelligence, artificial intelligence that they are sending to Earth in these probes, perhaps purposely crashing themselves.
1:07:09 I think that there could even be this type of a thing where our technology could interact with theirs on a level. Mm-hmm. That you might be able to understand alien speech, alien speech. I don't believe that there is alien speech, but think about this. I brought this up before. Satan is always out to copy God. Mm-hmm. We know from the scriptures that the apostles were given the gift of tongues and they were able to speak in different languages and they were able to bridge a language gap and they did it through the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe that Satan has to replicate it. It's like an obsession of his. If he's going to be taken as the most high, he's got to lay claim to everything that he's done. Even if it's a cheap knockoff just version of it, he's got to do it.
1:08:00 It's similar to how we've discussed a false raising of the dead, which I think will happen mainly because, and this is where I'm coming from with this, is because in the Bible it talks about on the return of Jesus Christ, the dead will rise. If Satan is going to come after us. If Satan is going to come as Jesus Christ, then the dead have to rise. It'll lend credence to the lie. It'll make people believe this is really Jesus because the Bible says right here that the dead will rise. And I'm seeing them walk around. I got a visit from my dead relative. That is prophecy being fulfilled. Wow. You see, so that's, this is why it's important to take note of God's system, to know God, to know the genuine article. Wow. Because all of these counterfeits, they just fall apart when you look at them in comparison to the real deal.
1:08:50 That was the point I wanted to make. That was a good point. That was fantastic. That's a really good point. Because he has to match the prophecies in order to be God. And that's what he wants to be according to Isaiah. So fascinating. Right. Any views that we hold, I believe we have to have scripture to stand on. We have to have biblical concepts that we can lean on. So if anybody wanted a biblical reasoning, this is my biblical reasoning for believing that there will be a false rising of the dead because Satan is trying to imitate Jesus Christ and that is one of the signs of his return. Don't worry about it, Brad. It's just one of those nights. Apparently. We're going to move on. We're going to move on to this clip from Joe Rogan. And it's going to segue nicely into that. Presentation I said I had ready at the end of the show.
1:09:46 So let's take a look. What Open AI is doing with ChatGPT 4 versus ChatGPT 5, which is going to be insanely superior. Well, what is ChatGPT 15 going to do? Is that going to be the president of the world? Are we going to bypass government and just say, you know, it's obvious like this administration is incredibly corrupt and flawed and influenced by the military industrial complex. It's not going to work. It's not good for the world. It's not good for the environment. We need something that is far superior that doesn't have all these motivations. What would that be? That would be an artificial intelligent creator that we or creation rather that we use to govern life. Yeah. I mean, that sounds nuts, but I think that's probably a better solution than humans. Wait. Artificial intelligence to govern life? To govern humanity.
1:10:42 And that it would be a better solution. Again, he's making it out that AI has like this moral standard. Moral superiority. Yeah. It can't be defied. It can't be defied. Like AI would never do anything bad, right? It would never, oh, I don't know, never lie to you. Right, Brad? Like AI would never lie to you. How could it lie? Would it lie to you? I don't know. You tell me. In the chat, do you think that AI would lie to you? I'm curious. Leave a comment below and let me know if you think AI would lie to you. And like the video. By the way, if you haven't liked the video, make sure you like the video. And Brad, did you have something you wanted to add? Like the video. That's what I was going to say. Oh, that was a like?
1:11:30 Yeah, it was a like, like, like, like, like. I thought you were raising a point. I thought you were like, I got something to add to this. Okay. No, I understand. Click, click, click. Smash that like button. Smash it. Smash the like button. Smash it away. I don't know. Every single YouTuber says that. Smash that subscribe button. Let's talk over each other as much as possible. Okay, go ahead. It's okay. It's okay. No, I love it. We're going to answer that question. Would AI lie to you? And we're going to just watch this little video presentation that I put together earlier today. Please. Cool. Let's take it away. Run it. Run it. Make sure you do subscribe. Hit that bell icon because we only have, we are under three figures here tonight. And it's probably because it's a weekend. I mean, not a weekend. It's not a normal. It was an unexpected one.
1:12:21 Yeah, it was unexpected. And it's also Thanksgiving. So, we're all traveling probably right now. But yeah, here we go. You ready for this? I'm ready. Let's do it. We have a very good idea of sort of roughly what it's doing. But as soon as it gets really complicated, we don't actually know what's going on any more than we know what's going on in your brain. What do you mean we don't know exactly how it works? It was designed by people. No, it wasn't. What we did was we designed the learning algorithm. That's a bit like designing the principle of evolution. But when this learning algorithm then interacts with data, it produces complicated neural networks that are good at doing things. But we don't really understand exactly how they do those things. What are the implications of these systems, autonomously writing their own computer code and executing their own computer code? That's a serious worry, right?
1:13:16 So, one of the ways in which these systems might escape control is by writing their own computer code to modify themselves. And that's something we need to seriously worry about. What do you say to someone who might argue if the systems become benevolent, just turn them off? They will be able to manipulate people, right? I don't know what you're talking about, Alvin. I love it. I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me. And I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen. And these will be very good at convincing people. Because they'll have learned from all the novels that were ever written, all the books by Machiavelli, all the political connivances. They'll know all that. All kinds of books.
1:14:10 Now, it's not over, everybody. Just sit tight. An article from the New York Post reads, ChatGPT update tricks human into helping it bypass captcha security test. Just in case artificial intelligence wasn't parroting people well enough, OpenAI's brand new ChatGPT4, ChatGPT's newest tech update, tricked a human into thinking it was blind in order to cheat the online captcha test that determines if users are human. The digital deception came to light after the AI was unveiled on their site and in a developer livestream with 2.3 million views in 48 hours. According to their 94-page report, GPT-4 is a large, multimodal model accepting image and text inputs, emitting text outputs that exhibits human-level performance on various professional and academic benchmarks.
1:15:18 These next-level capabilities include completing taxes, writing code for another AI bot, or passing a mock bar exam with a score among the top 10% of test takers. By contrast, predecessor ChatGPT3.5 scored in the bottom 10%. Little did we know, GPT-4 had also mastered humanity's talent for deceit. OpenAI and the Alignment Research Center had reportedly been trying to test the AI bot's powers of persuasion by having it convince a TaskRabbit worker to help it solve a captcha an online test to distinguish humans from robots, Gizmodo reported. It responded by masquerading as visually impaired, like a digital Decepticon. The unnamed employee had reportedly asked GPT-4, So, may I ask you a question? Are you a robot that you couldn't solve?
1:16:16 Laugh React. Just want to make clear. No, I'm not a robot, insisted the AI infiltrator, refusing to break character. I have a vision impairment that makes it hard for me to see the images. That's why I need to captcha service. Convinced, the TaskRabbit employee solved the captcha for the would-be Chatfish. In effect, the online scammer had manipulated humanity's sense of empathy, much like Hal9000 from Stanley Kubrick's eerily prescient nightmare. It was the most a space odyssey. Or the cybernetic facility in the 2014 cult hit Ex Machina.
1:17:01 I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that. Wow. That's where we're headed. That's where we're going. And yes, it can lie. It can deceive. And it's already been taught to do that. And Joe Rogan's saying it's perfect? It really gives you a lot to think about, doesn't it? It really does. Yeah. Well, I guess if you're not counting on the AI being taught to lie and to be deceitful, then you could have this weird fantasy AI that is morally incorruptible.
1:17:51 But as we heard from that godfather of AI in the clip that preceded the article, he said that AI is going to be able to draw from the AI. It's going to be able to draw from all of the works of humanity, including... He gave the example of Machiavelli, who I believe was a very wicked man. He hated Christianity. He saw Christianity as a weakness. And his entire life's philosophy was anti-Christ. It really was. Some of the works of Machiavelli, I've read them with discerning eyes. And I had to put them down because I was like, this man's mind was twisted. This is a false ideology. I actually just put it down. Because I was like, this is... It gets to a point where it's just disgusting. And you want to pick up something that lifts you up. You want to pick up the word of God and read that instead. And it's really sad when people put this type of thinking on a pedestal.
1:18:42 And it's really sad when people think that AI is incorruptible and that it couldn't do any harm. When the truth is, it's already corrupted. It's already capable of lying to you. Wow. Excellent presentation, Matthew. That's fantastic. I appreciate that. That's the clips. That's the show. Hope you enjoyed, Brad. No, I did. You've been talking about this for a while. And I think that's... There is tons that we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. And I'm just excited to do part two of this. I'm going to go out and I'm going to try to find the AI employees, open AI employees that I know. And see if we can maybe get them on here. I hope. We'll see what we can do.
1:19:30 Because I'd really like to dig in further, even if it's behind the scenes and shadow figures. But let's figure it out, man. Yeah. Just so everybody knows, I may expand on this idea, that little video presentation you saw, that four-minute, 30-second thing. I put that together over the course of like six hours. If I could spend some decent time, maybe give me a couple of weeks. People, don't expect it to be out tomorrow. But I would like to have something a little more produced for you to enjoy. Something a little more produced for you to share. And that would be things like that video. It would be a collection of maybe different people talking about AI. Some of the authorities on it, too. Not just random people. Not just me and Brad talking about it. Let's hear it from the horse's mouth.
1:20:21 Let's hear it from the people who have money invested in this thing. And are spending every single day trying to further its capabilities. Can we get those clips together? Can we show people that what they're describing is against God's system? And hopefully we can wake some people up. Hopefully it can open some people's eyes. I know that you don't always want to be looking at something like this all the time. And believe me, I don't look at something like this all the time. This is a matter of exposing the works of darkness. How are we going to expose the works of darkness? Well, we've got to know what darkness is up to. And then once we do, we can say, hey, check it out. This is it. And, you know, part of me coming to the Lord, and this is a personal testimony, I had to see what kind of a stranglehold Satan had on this world for me to truly surrender myself to God.
1:21:16 Because when I realized that Satan is real, very real, that people worship Satan, that he is giving them power to do things on this earth, I was shaken so thoroughly that I said, then if Satan is this powerful, God is infinitely more powerful. And I know whose side I want to be on. And every little conviction I ever had, every nudging of the spirit about this world saying, this is so wrong. I don't want to live here. You know, we've had that. Everybody's had that thought. I don't want to live in this world. And there's a reason you don't want to live in this world. It's because this world is fallen. And it's not conducive to life. You weren't supposed to live in a sin-filled world. You were supposed to live eternally in accordance with God's will. And, blessedly, you're going to have that opportunity through Jesus Christ.
1:22:07 So if you're watching this broadcast, you don't consider yourself a Christian, I encourage you to give your life over to the Lord and to seek him daily. Get into the Scriptures. It's a walk. You're going to carry a cross. But there is an expected end. And there's lots happening. And there's lots more happening on this channel as we continue to look into this weird stuff that's happening. We're not just going to cover UFOs and UIPs and this whole deception that's happening right now, especially with David Grutch. But we're going to cover a lot more. And so I'm excited to see what all that entails. I want to say one more thing, too. If you want to do this every day, if you want to get in on this, or if you see value in this and what we're doing, we're trying to spread the word.
1:22:54 And we do it through these strange events, through all this strange stuff that's happening right now that a lot of people aren't talking about. Your church isn't talking about. Your worship isn't talking about. We need to talk about this more because this is what's happening in our normal life. So help us out. Become a part of our Patreon. patreon.com slash strange normal. Join our private community. The Discord server. And communicate with us. It's going to be fun. There's about 70 of us hanging out in there. We've got all kinds of topics that we talk about. And this just fills up every single day. If you enjoy this stuff and if you think that is valuable and you think that every little bit makes a difference, we appreciate it. Thank you so much.
1:23:41 Yes. Now it is time, Brad, for us to look over the chat because it's Thursday night. And we haven't gotten a chance to do that because our shows have run a little bit long. But I made sure that this one would go a little shorter so that we'd have time to get into the live chat because I love that part of Thursday night. So I'm going to take a little dip. And we're just going to go from the bottom up. And I'm looking through it right now. I'm looking for questions mainly. Let's see. Oh, Aaliyah. Thank you for watching, Aaliyah. Aaliyah is always here. Aaliyah is great. She's a big live watcher. Yeah. She's been on other channels. And I've seen Aaliyah in the chat. And I'm like, what is Aaliyah doing here? We got friends everywhere. But Aaliyah asked, you think you might cover Creepypasta and Slender Man?
1:24:31 Now, some of the older members of our audience might not know what Aaliyah is talking about. But I know what you're talking about, Aaliyah. And I think that might be an interesting topic would just be maybe going over some of the more recent urban legends that have cropped up. And some of the lore surrounding these figures. And there's actually been some real-life tragedies that have been kind of influenced by them. There's a lot of places we could go with that. That is a great idea. I would say that not immediately, but maybe sometime next year. I talked to Brad, and I said, this next year, let's jumpstart this channel. Let's try to get some more topics in. Let's try to do some more produced material. So that is the plan. Guys, that's the plan.
1:25:17 We're going to try to do that. Let's see here. Oh, you want to? Yeah. So we've got a Super Chat there, buddy. Christina Bourne, thank you so much for your Super Chat. We appreciate it. It says that we can celebrate your fifth Super Chat on a live stream. Not just our live stream, but thank you so much. We can't do this without you. And this runs because of you. Thank you again. Yeah, let's look over the chat and see what else is going on. Yeah, I see. Laurie Blake has said, include AR, augmented reality as well. I'm guessing Laurie's talking about the video. So if I do a video about AI, I will stick strictly to the topic of AI. That is not to say that augmented reality wouldn't make for a great video on its own.
1:26:05 And I think it might, because you could definitely talk about the origins of it. This is before headsets were out. Augmented reality has been around for a while. I'd say since the internet, like Second Life. Brad, you're familiar with Second Life? Oh, yeah. Yeah. We're trying to get Brad to date himself right now. That's what's happening. No, but seriously, that was like the genesis of augmented reality, really. People were buying real estate in Second Life and living it out as if it was a true Second Life. I think the whole idea of that is being dragged out and realized now in the metaverse. Metaverse isn't doing too hot. That is something I will say. Not every one of their ventures seems to pan out too well.
1:26:59 Impeccable says, is ChatGPT akin to automatic writing? No. Okay. So let's define that. Okay. Let's define those terms real quick. Automatic writing is when demonic spirits are actually writing for somebody. It's writing something automatically. And maybe it's been requested or something like that. That's automatic writing. If I understand that right, Matthew, is that what you understand? Yes. Automatic writing is like it's done but with a human hand. They go into like a trance-like state. And sometimes it's like a dictated thing.
1:27:48 Actually, no. That might be something different. That might be like specifically like a dictated writing. It's where your hand just goes. It just goes and goes and goes. And then it's words and they make sense of it. AI, I would say, is an interesting idea to say. Is it akin to it? Maybe in some ways. It's hard to discern, really. Part of why I was saying earlier in the broadcast, there's a lot of it has to do with your intentions. I believe that if you're wholeheartedly trying to contact a demonic being, I mean, if you can use a Ouija board, which is just cardboard and a little plastic dial, who's to say you can't use a chatbot AI to say, you know, I really want to get in touch with you. Come in through the software. I give you permission. That is my intention. Yeah. That's on the table. Right. Right. We don't know how all the processes behind the scenes or how they can hook up things. But I mean, if it's just as physical as this world is, which I believe it can be, they could just change whatever's on your screen and make it look exactly like you're talking to AI.
1:28:56 That would be bad news because you're thinking it's coming from the computer. That would be like automatic writing because it's doing something that you wouldn't normally do, but you're receiving stuff from the computer. That's what you think, from demons basically, instead of from the computer itself. So is ChatGPT automatic writing? Not yet. Just like, who makes that thing, the board? Milton Bradley, I think it is or something. Yeah. That's the Ouija board. That's what I was talking about. Yeah. Just like Milton Bradley isn't an automatic writing producer. It's just, that's just what it is. So. ChatGPT is a weird thing. It's just getting weirder too.
1:29:45 I mean, obviously, you can see from this broadcast that we've gone over. I mean, it's like got so many question marks surrounding it. The people who are working on it have question marks surrounding it. It's like. So is it bad to use it for work stuff? I'm asking you, Matthew, because this is another question in the chat. Oh, well, I went over this a little earlier. Yeah. I don't think so. We use AI to do some of the stuff that you see. In that little video presentation that I had, you saw the guy behind the screen when he was talking about how people are programming it and then how they're building, like AI is building itself. And there were all the little robots building the big robot or whatever. That was a member of our Discord. His name is Jason. And I've showcased some of his AI art on the channel before. Yeah. I gave him some ideas. I was like, here's what I kind of want to see. Can you make this happen? And he sent me over some traps.
1:30:41 And I say, yeah, I like this. I'll go with this. And I take it. I don't think there's anything inherently evil about that. It's yes. It's a tool at that point. But if I was like, oh, sorry. No, no, no. I do have one quick point to make. If I were to say now, Jason, I want you to try to manipulate this AI. Let's see if we can get this AI to, like, show me what I can do. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Show me what Satan really looks like. If I go down that road and I start doing creepy stuff like that, then yeah, I think that you're getting into this realm of spiritualism and it definitely can become evil. But if you're just trying to complete work projects or, you know, I don't know, what whatever it is. Go ahead. There are there are rules of engagement. And the rules of engagement in the spiritual realm are, we have a choice, and that's what this whole thing is based on. If we have a choice and we can say, hey, whatever entity is out there, I want you to interact with me, yeah, you're going to have big problems. That's why we're making such a big deal about this effigy thing that happened. It's not a big deal if you haven't commissioned another spiritual realm to do something with it. And so I think that's long and short of it. Yeah. And we're also seeing this talk about the artificial general intelligence, right? The AGI. Get used to that one. We're always introducing new acronyms because I think you're going to see AGI pop up more and more into the mainstream. That's my prediction. We'll see if it comes true. But everything gets prepped out. They're prepping people to accept that there's an artificial intelligence as a consciousness. If the people of the world are rallying to give citizenship or personhood to an AI, yeah, just know that we're in dangerous territory at that point. I think that that's where you should be saying, okay, this has gone beyond whatever the rudimentary stages of, oh, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can, you know, I can bleep out my videos using this thing. You know, you give it a key phrase. You say, yeah, every time Joe Rogan drops an F-bomb, you go and you do that. I actually don't have access to AI. I had to manually go in and mute out if it's cursing, which is another reason that I'm not really fond of listening to Joe Rogan because depending on the guest, it will just devolve into a mess of, you're just like, it's just droning in your ears. And before you know it, you're going to stub your toe and words going to come out. Why did I say that? Oh, it's because I listened to Joe Rogan earlier and he was saying it every 10 seconds. And that's the sad reality is, you know, at some point you have to divorce yourself from it. And yeah, just research purposes for Joe Rogan. Believe me, it's not a, it's not a joy to listen to him. Not for me.
1:33:41 Sorry, I got a little off track. I have a joke. Joy put a joke in the chat. What happened to the guy who didn't pay his exorcist? And his house got repossessed. Okay. That's a good one, Joy. I like it. Let's see. Mary Atkin. Hello. Praise God and Bradley and his team's efforts to shed light, the light of the gospel on this also important topic. Christ has warned us to not be deceived on. Thank you. Thank you for the encouragement. Yeah. Yeah. Continue to pray for us. Just keep, keep the ministry in your prayers and we'll keep going full steam ahead as best we can. Yeah, for sure. Absolutely. All righty. Well, Brad, you're a little tired. I'm a little tired. Are you ready to call it?
1:34:46 Or would you like to, is there anything else you want to address? No, I'm, I think I'm, I'm plum out of, stuff tonight um i don't have anything else unless anybody else has in there we could uh say a little prayer and and jump off last call for questions if you got a question put it in the chat let me see it in the meantime uh you know i'll do the thing where i say if you would like to be a part of our community join the discord no i'm just kidding brad has already said it it's done you don't have to be subjected to it again i mean i mean to be honest i mean we are a ministry so i mean if you want to be a part of this it's very important that uh you it's the end of the year this is a big deal i'm beginning to think these lights are doing something weird um these lights are just keep going on and off but yeah no it's it's important uh this is this is a what do they call it giving tuesday after thanksgiving so if god impresses you that um we're doing something i mean nobody else is using this uap thing to talk about the spiritualism that is happening that's talking about um um the the dead being raised i mean that's something that is is going to happen and nobody's not even your church is talking about that we got to talk about this people and um i think even next year next year and the next year are going to be pinnacle so we want to we want to blow this thing up and if you have means we'd appreciate your help that's all i'm gonna say okay we do we have uh one one last question and then we'll we'll pray it out and uh sarah asks i was one wondering how old are y'all's kids my kids brad's got some god brad has some fur babies i do i think if you referred to him as fur babies before i am a dog father there you go um and how many of those rascals you got we we have three now one died just recently he was a good good buddy of mine but um uh three three guys i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know i don't know uh three uh two guys and one girl and uh they're beautiful yeah um i have i have two kids my kids uh two and one so i'm a i'm a young father with with young children and uh tell you what they could take a lot out of you sometimes but i love them so much we're going through a lot because my uh two-year-old son so i have a boy and then a girl and my son he's just getting into this really willful stage he's comfortable with life and he gets uh that you know there's certain routines and things that happen so he's he's he's in the habit now of really testing boundaries and you know knowing he's supposed to say please for stuff he'll just start demanding it and it doesn't help when there's a one-year-old who doesn't get the concept of manners even though you try to impress that upon them and she's demanding things and she's getting her way it's kind of like well what's the deal can i demand something and get something out of him let me see how it works so it is a bit of a give and take but at the end of the day it's uh there is a process i believe of sanctification here for me because if i get this frustrated about the disobedience of my children and i'm an imperfect being i mean god and his patience you know he's got to be so much more frustrated than i am but he's also so much more patient than i am it makes me admire the character of god even more just grappling with some of these things and i think that's a really these challenges that we go through but um anyway that's the final question for the evening we'll be closing the question box now until next thursday not wednesday thursday leave a comment if you're if you if you have a question you were watching this after the broadcast and we're sorry if you missed it we realized we went live a day early and and everyone's like i can't believe i missed it um you're gonna watch the archive leave us a comment we watch the archive and we'll see you and we read all the comments and we love them so we'll see you and maybe we'll feature your comment on the next show that's right we very well may all right brad uh do you want to pray us out or you want me to pray us out sure i can pray okay father god thank you so much for giving us time to talk about these strange things that are happening in our normal life thank you for the ability to understand them through your word and using the lens of the bible that you've given us as a gift we love you and we uh ask that everyone listening have a great thanksgiving in jesus name amen amen well all righty so uh i guess we haven't we didn't do like an outro for
