0:01 matthew daily wire has been in the alien realm lately they have a few different employees that are well-known personalities and every single one has a different idea of what this phenomenon is they said it's uh quite the argument there check this out this is fascinating the biggest debate at the daily wire is not over gender it's not over the 2024 race and it's not over immigration or the biggest debate aliens aliens some people like my colleague matt walsh say that aliens are real et comes down abducts people prowls around little green men and some people are correct such as yours truly who observes that et is fake it's not real we are not alone in the universe but as far as corporeal beings go with rational souls we are alone if you're listening at least speak esos Du parle unidentified flying objects and when they think they encounter the little green men they're most likely just talking to demons and pretty much, it's amazing people make fun of me for this and but the reason people make fun of me for this point of view is because they are moderns they're modern secular libs and aliens are just demons they're just demons for modern live people who can't imagine that there's such a thing as metaphysical reality so it's for people who are they're just demons for modern lib people who can't imagine that there's such a thing as metre live people who can't imagine that there's such a thing as metaphysical reality so it's for people who are mature gallop you imagine as testicle real intelligent одна materialists who think that everything that's real has to be flesh and blood, which obviously isn't true. Some of the most important things in life are not material. Hopes, dreams, love, mathematics. There are plenty of things that are metaphysical, the moral order. But we have convinced ourselves in this unsophisticated day and age that it's all got to be physical. And so even the celestial beings have to be physical. They can't be merely spiritual.
1:51 Spiritual. Now, there's a fella by the name of Luis Elizondo. This is reported by the New York Post, though I got to give a hat tip to Poped here, a great Substack writer and tweeter who called my attention to this. Luis Elizondo is a former intelligence officer with the Department of Defense. He claims he was the director of AATIP, the Pentagon's UFO program from 2010 to 2017. Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has defended this guy and said he actually was pretty prominent in the government working. Here's what he had to say. I had one, I remember the conversation very well. This is a person I respected tremendously, very, very senior person. He told me, he said, Lou, I want you to stop doing this. I said, okay, sir, I certainly can, but may I ask why? And he says, well, we already know what it is. Now, at that moment, I honestly thought maybe it was our own technology that was running up against some super uber secret SAP. And, you know, they were telling me to stop. And I said, okay, sir, so, so it's ours. And he said, no, that's not what I'm saying. And he said, he asked me point blank, have you read your Bible lately? And I wasn't quite sure where he was going with that. And I said, well, sorry, I, I, I think I know what it says. What, where are you going with this? And he said, well, then you would know that these things are demonic and we should not be pursuing them. Yeah. And, uh, I, I, he was, he wasn't kidding me with it's exactly how, how he felt.
3:21 So this is a Pentagon. This is a DO department of defense official, uh, saying stop looking at UFOs because they're demonic. Correct. Correct. Correct. Not only is this senior, apparently respectable Pentagon official who is so admirable that one of the guys who was running the UFO office there really looked up to this guy, but it's correct in that that's obviously what these things are. Now, what's interesting is this guy in this interview, a couple of years ago that not a lot of people seem to have found, uh, this guy seems to disagree with the respected, more senior Pentagon official who said this stuff's demonic. We shouldn't be looking into it. And this guy says, no, we've got to look into it. We've got to go get all the data. We've got to probe this stuff. We got to find out what's really going on. And my question is why? I'm going to pause it right there just for a second. It's not over yet, but I got to give my, my, my two cents to this because this is, this is fascinating. Number one, I'm thrilled. I'm thrilled that, uh, that Michael Knowles or anybody at the Daily Wire is actually seeing the, the correct view on this. And they found that obscure. There's actually three of them. I think there's three, three times Lou Elizondo has been on a podcast and he said, you know, my superiors told me that this is demonic. And so this is not an obscure thought. This is a well-known thought that's being squashed by people that don't necessarily want, I don't, I don't think someone's out there trying to say that, but I think it's just a mindset that most people have.
4:49 But I think where he goes off and this might be, uh, pulling hairs, splicing hairs is that he says that, um, spiritual beings can't be physical. That's where it gets dangerous. And we talk a lot about that on here because I think the big, big, big deception is not them being ethereal or, um, uh, I think when you start to see things that can feel like they are having their own heartbeat, or they look like they have eyes or they can eat food, you gotta, you're going to be really deceived if you think that it's only spirits appear as things you can see through. My two thoughts. Certainly. I thought the same exact thing. We have biblical accounts that angels came and they ate, they ate with Noah. We have angels coming to visit Lot. You know, we look through in Hebrews 13, two, Paul wrote, be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby have entertained angels unawares. So you have these angels capable of taking a form so convincing that unless they reveal themselves as angels, you're unaware that that's what they are. Absolutely. Absolutely. Wow. You just pulled that out of a hat. I'm impressed, Matthew, because we, we have not, he has not been looking over this as far as I know. And although you are in the discord, but I, I wasn't preempting him and that's fantastic. Thank you for that. Yeah. Genesis 19, exactly what you said. Uh, I have a, I have a, I have a, I have a, I have a, I have a, I have a plan this. So I'll, I'll give you that. But, um, it says that these, we, that, that in Genesis 19, it says, and he pressed upon them greatly and they turned in unto him, the angels that came to Lot and they entered into his house and he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread.
6:39 And they did eat. The Bible says they ate it. I mean, it's not like, Hey, he made him a feast and it didn't say that they ate just, he just made them food. No, they ate it. And so something physical is going on here with angelic beings. And if we think that they are just ethereal things that are floating through the air, um, what if someday someone does have one that comes up and is able to, uh, uh, eat and stuff. And then they say something negative, something, a demon appears as something nice and benevolent. So I think that's, that's dangerous. Can I, can I give, just feed a couple more verses about that before I give it back to you, Matthew. Verses 3, 24, uh, to 30, um, shows that they, uh, have a face. They were eating, uh, they were with them face to face. Psalm 74, 24, uh, the men ate angel food, which was manna, which is what the Bible calls angel food in Psalm. Ezekiel 1, 18 says they have eyes. Revelation 5, 11 through 12 says they have a voice. And Psalms 91, 11 through 12 says they have hands. There's, there's lots in here. There's lots in here. There's lots in here. There's lots in here. There's lots in here. And that's just a few verses. What do you, what are your thoughts, Matthew? I think it just goes to show we need to be studying the word of God, because obviously someone like Michael Knowles has this misunderstanding. It seems like such a small misunderstanding, but in reality, when we put it in perspective and we look at the deception, it's an important point. It's an important fact. And if you don't have the understanding that angels could come as corporeal beings, suddenly you might be able to understand that angels could come as corporeal beings. You might be questioning the word of God. You might be, you might be questioning without even knowing it because you don't know the word of God. You don't know that these verses exist and you don't know that angels have manifested. Now, the angels that we see in scripture, fair enough, those are angels of God. But there comes a time when God sends a strong delusion, when he withdraws. And I believe at that withdrawing, we have a certain amount of permission that they're given, the fallen angels are given, and that they will be able to do things more in line with what we see in scriptures that the holy angels are doing.
8:54 100%. 100%. Let's continue to hear what Michael has to say about this because I think it's fascinating that he is, as he analyzes this, he's coming out with some really good stuff. Let's see if he continues. Here we go. Why do we have to do that? Curiosity is not a virtue. Why should we do that? There is more in heaven and earth. There is a greater ratio than is dreamt of in our philosophy, and certainly the desiccated modern philosophy that ignores metaphysical things. But why? Why are we going to do this? If there were, which there is not, a super race of extremely intelligent ET that are coming and they can mess with us and they can probe us and they can cross the galaxy and they can go faster than the speed of light and they can do all this crazy stuff, their technology is so much more advanced than ours is, then we're not going to beat them. That'd be like a squirrel trying to beat an army of human beings. If we're that much stupider than these things, then we're obviously not going to beat them. If they're demons, then we should want nothing to do with them. Yes. C.S. Lewis had a good bit on demons, which is, he said, the right attitude toward demons is that you should know that they exist because there is spiritual reality.
10:15 We are body and soul. We're hylomorphic, closet beings with a rational soul. That's why we have an appetite and we have to eat food and drink water to sustain ourselves. Man does not live by bread alone and we can use our abstract reason and moral judgment to think of things like justice or art or culture or opera. We can do both those things. Certain beings are purely physical. They don't have a rational soul like a rock. Even the animals, they don't have a rational soul like a rock. They don't have abstract reason. We don't put them on trial. We don't put a dog on trial when he bites you. Okay. That's why. And then on the other side of things, there are beings that are purely physical. Ideas are physical and angels and demons are physical too. And everyone has known this for all of history until modern Western liberal secular people like a hundred years ago. So if they are demons, then C.S. Lewis points out the right attitude is know that they exist, be on guard, and then they don't exist. You know, they're trying to prey on souls, tear you down to hell and give you bad eternity. And so we should know that, but we shouldn't be too curious about them.
11:30 So it's kind of like bugs. I don't know. You've got bugs in your house. You've got to be aware of that and take care of the problem and like keep them from coming in and kill the ones that are there. But you don't want to spend a lot of time with them. You know, you don't want to spend your whole day thinking about the bugs being around the bugs. You just want to get rid of them. Okay. And that's how I feel about, you know, aliens who are really demons, as the Pentagon even admits. He compares demons to bugs. You got to get rid of the demons. So I get where he's saying, but I don't think we can get our can of demon spray out and kill the demons. So I think prayer is the closest thing we have to the demon spray and get rid of the demons with their bugs. Get rid of them. Oh, boy. But he still goes into that dualistic identity mindset of these things being spiritual versus physical. And I think that we've done already a good job of explaining that.
12:38 So I don't think we need to go over it again. But what are your thoughts, Matthew? Did he say that angels and ideas were physical? Did he put that in the physical camp? Ideas? Did he misspeak? He said, He said, Did he say that ideas and angels are physical? I don't know. I kind of want to watch that portion of the clip back because it almost flies in the face of what he said. Ideas are physical and angels and demons are physical too. And everyone has known this for all of history until modern Western liberal secular people like a hundred years ago. Yeah, he did. He said demons and angels are physical. First he said ideas are physical. Then he said demons and angels are physical. So that's throwing me for a loop because it feels like at first he's saying they're not corporeal. They're not physical. And then he's going off on a little tangent about C.S. Lewis and just casually says they are physical. And we know that they're physical. I don't know what's going on. Where are we? I think he's, I mean, he, yeah, he's Do you mean metaphysical? I don't, did he misspeak? If he's just misspeaking, then it's fine. So this is interesting because I'm going to throw a whole wrench in the cog here for a second because, uh, Michael Knowles is Catholic. There's a, uh, I know that for sure. He's very vocal about it on the show. And, uh, if he's Catholic and he says the aliens are demons, what's with the Pope trying to baptize them? Take a look. If you're an alien and you want to get baptized, the Pope is in favor of it. In fact, during one of his daily masses, is that how you say daily masses or during daily mass? Uh, he talked about, uh, the right to be baptized and how the Catholic church, should accept people to be baptized with open arms. And he said, even if they're Martians, let me read you his exact quote. He says, if tomorrow an expedition of Martians came and some of them came to us here, Martians, right? Green with that long nose and big ears, just like children paint them. And one says, but I want to be baptized. What should happen? And he basically says, baptize this out of them. So I don't know what you guys think. Gina, make your point.
14:47 Baptize the aliens. Right? I don't know. What do you say to that? I mean, this Pope's super progressive and he's super, he seems super fun so far. He's made a couple of mistakes here and there, but yeah, I mean, and, and that goes, I assume he's also burying within that point. If we're going to baptize aliens and Martians, that goes without saying that anyone, any color, any creed, sexual orientation, human first can be baptized. That's what I got out of it. Definitely. Sandra. Yeah. It was a fantastic way to skip over all the politics and just be like anyone, including the green people. Anyone. And it's just, it's adorable. And, and I appreciate it. Having grown up Catholic, I do appreciate that kind of acceptance and just sort of blanket statements. All good. It's nice. I always appreciate an open-minded person and he seems pretty open-minded, especially compared to Popes from the past. So do you, if you want to spread that message within the Catholic church, I think it's great. Doesn't mean I agree with your religion. Doesn't mean that I'm religious myself, but again, being accepting should be the main focus of religion. At least that's what I learned when I was a kid. Yeah. When I was growing up Christian. Okay. So there's a lot to unpack there, but I think I'm going to set you up, Matthew. I'm telling you ahead of time. Do you think the Pope swears? Yeah, I would say so. I'm setting you up because I know the answer to this, but we're going to get there in a second.
16:11 So don't, don't go nowhere, people. We're, this is interesting because, so the Pope believes in aliens and the Pope wants to baptize. The junk out of them. So I, I, of course that was her words. I know that, but just hang on the program. You're going to be amazed. And so if Michael Knowles believes they're demons, I'm so glad you're here, Matthew, because I'm, I'm baffled by this. My, my understanding of how things work, at least in Christianity, in the Bible, says that the, these demons, the fallen angels, they don't have a chance anymore. And so why, why in the world would you even consider that these things might want to be baptized? Because oftentimes when you're baptized, you baptize someone, hey, they are, you're joining your church. They want to be involved. They want to be your friend, which is great if they're human. Yeah, I think that baptism is an outward profession of faith. It's interesting that in that little clip, she mentioned, oh, this means that anyone of any creed, she, listen, I believe that anyone of any race could be baptized, all of that. But if you're a certain lifestyle that contradicts the message of the Bible, if you're living in sin, the baptism is just water. There isn't anything happening there. But if you accept Jesus into your heart and you want to make a change, that's what the baptism is all about. Like I said, it's an outward confession of an inward realization. As far as the Catholic church goes and their baptism, I think that this would be a point of division. I think that this would be a point of division. I think that this would be a point of division. The Catholic church is very polarized. There is a more traditional right-wing leaning branch, and there is a more progressive left-wing leaning branch. As that commentator noted, Pope Francis is a much more progressive pope than I believe has ever been seen before. But that doesn't mean that he's not ultimately marching towards the same destination.
18:15 I believe that he's altered the sound of the song to the times, that we're living in, to make it more palatable for a broad appeal to bring in a certain number of people. But he can have it both ways, because he can still have a section of the Catholic church adhering to what they consider to be the truth, like a Vatican I style church is what they want to see. And in the end, what's going to happen is these two are going to have a reckoning, but ultimately what will be born out of that reckoning is that they're going to have a reckoning. It's going to be accepted by the rest of the world. And I think that you'll see aliens being baptized. I think you'll see it. And I think it will be okay, because they'll be considered non-evil entities. It's Michael Knowles mentioned, if they're coming here to destroy us, then we don't have a chance. I don't think they're going to come saying, we're here to destroy you. I think you're going to hear that age-old line, we come in peace. And they're going to claim to bring peace with them. But realistically, it's going to be the very beginning of the end. And we will see the plagues fall shortly after their arrival, if not right on time with their arrival. It's going to be something, that's for sure. And I think this isn't a one-off, too. This clip that we saw, this has been talked about quite a bit, not just on the TYT, the Young Turks, I think the name of that show is. This has been on big news major media.
19:51 Check this out. Inside the walls of this castle, an unassuming Jesuit from Argentina leads the Vatican astronomical research and has recently caused an uproar by opening a debate about aliens. In a universe so big, huge, I would say, as the one where we live, with a hundred billion of galaxies, with each galaxy with a hundred billion of stars, probably with many of these stars. Having planets, it would be possible that life could evolve as the way we know on Earth. Father Funes says he is not sure if other forms of life would be more or less intelligent than humans. But he is convinced that the existence of aliens is not a contradiction with the Catholic faith. There has been no word from top Vatican officials about Funes' comments, but some people on the street find them odd. Richard Charnock was taking a group from the All Hallows Catholic High School on a trip to Italy when he heard about the comments from the Vatican astronomer. I think it's preposterous that they're saying that. You know, there is one, humans that God created. You know, we come back to the Bible, he didn't create Adam, Eve and E.T., did he? It was Adam and Eve. And so, you know, I just think it goes against what we believe as Christians. We probably won't be seeing aliens at mass any time soon, but the Vatican's chief astronomer does say that there could exist other forms of life outside Earth. And he says if they do exist, they are not aliens.
21:21 They are God's creatures. Trisha Thomas, The Associated Press, Castel Gandolfo, Italy. Italy. So, that's fascinating because that's on AP. I mean, that's on Associated Press. So, obviously this is a debated thing in the Catholic Church. I'm not making this a hit piece on the Catholic people. I think it's a fascinating piece. More like a... So I know you've been Catholic, and so it's curious to hear your insights. I'm curious to hear your insight on this because I don't know. I don't know. These two ideas were kind of diametric...what's the word I'm looking for? They were opposed to each other. Diametrically opposed. Yeah. Correct. And you see it even in that clip. You see the Jesuit astronomer saying that there could be plenty of other life forms, and that's perfectly fine. Doesn't contradict the Bible. And then you have just a lay person who says absolutely not, and considers himself a Catholic. He's saying, no. The Bible says there are two things. It says one thing, and he's saying another thing. And I hope that's the realization that a lot of Catholics come to because the reason why I'm no longer Catholic is that I picked up the Bible. I read the Word of God, and I saw what it said, and I realized that the Catholic Church is in contradiction to the Bible. There are many things that the Catholic Church practices that are simply not biblical, and they'll tell you that they're not based on Scripture. They'll say it's based on tradition.
22:49 Yeah. But when you have a religion based on tradition and not based on the Bible, and you're calling yourself a Christian, that's a dangerous recipe. We have to stand firm. Our foundation is the Word of God, and if we can't provide a thus sayeth the Lord, then it's not worth putting into practice. 100%. Matthew, did you know there are Vatican archives that talk about aliens? This is not just some ulterior website information. This is coming out into the mainstream now, and so apparently they have a hidden… I feel like I'm on like some ulterior news organization. This is legitimate stuff. This is so weird. This is perfect for this channel. And so this is… this is… the hidden Vatican library has this stuff in it. No joke. Watch this. The Vatican. Vatican City, Italy. In the 17th century, Pope Paul V ordered select documents of the Catholic Church moved from the Vatican library.
23:55 The Vatican City, Italy. In the 17th century, Pope Paul V ordered select documents of the Catholic Church moved from the Vatican Library. The Vatican City, Italy. In the 17th century, and closed to outsiders until 1881. Today, the Vatican's secret archives are closely guarded, and some researchers believe they contain revelations so explosive that they threaten the doctrine of the Catholic Church. You have to wonder if the secret library at the Vatican, which they acknowledge exists, doesn't have records or chronicles about extraterrestrial contacts that the Catholic Church has recorded and knows happened, but is keeping a secret. Might the Vatican's secret archives contain the details of messages Giordano Bruno may have received from extraterrestrials?
24:51 Information that supports his pronouncements about the universe. When we look at certain specific examples, like Giordani Bruno, we know that there was so more to it than this. The Vatican archives, whenever they go to the Vatican, are going to be opened, are going to reveal extraordinary levels of details. According to researchers, the Vatican's secret archives holds hidden evidence connected to the miracle of Fatima. 25:41 Do we know anything about the miracle of Fatima? We certainly do. We've covered the miracle of Fatima, the supposed miracle of Fatima on this channel to some extent. Yeah, yeah, 100%. And so this miracle of Fatima, they say, and I've heard many people say this, well, it was Mother Mary came down and talked to these kids. But there was no Mother Mary that came down and talked to those kids. There was something that came down to scare those kids. Do you remember the story? I certainly do. The three young children that had an encounter with a being, according to them, in the early accounts, it was a small brownish being with large eyes, and it terrified them and it gave them visions, apocalyptic visions. And it invited everybody back to witness the miracle of the sun that took place in Fatima, where the sun moved across the sky like a disc. Very strange things. And the strangest part is that it's all totally endorsed by the Vatican.
26:49 It's something that is approved of. There are Marian apparitions, and then there are approved Marian apparitions. And Fatima is considered an approved Marian apparition. Wow. Wow. No, I didn't know that much. Wow. Wow. And that's why I'm criticizing this piece. This piece is obviously a TV piece, copyrighted. And so by fair use, I'm allowed to criticize it and say, you know what, you're going to talk about this Marian apparitions, but it's not Mother Mary. And it's very clear it wasn't Mother Mary, if you give the entire story out about what's happened to these kids. Let's continue in that story. You ready? Or do you want to say something? Go for it. I got one thing. Think about the concept of the Vatican's secret library.
27:41 A secret library. Jesus said when he was being interrogated in John 18, 20, Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world, I ever taught in the synagogue and in the temple, whether the Jews always resort, and in secret have I said nothing. The number one bestselling book in the world, is the Holy Bible. Anything that the Vatican has kept in their musty vaults, under heavily guarded secrecy, is not worth us knowing. It's rubbish. It's garbage. I don't care how old it is. I don't care what they try to say. Jesus is very clear. He put the message of salvation out for all of us to have, and that is what is valuable. So I believe there will be revelations from the vaults of the Vatican's secret library, but they are filthy rags as far as I'm concerned.
28:37 Well said. And I think we're going to find out what else is filthy here in a minute. So don't go nowhere. Check this out. It was here in 1917 that three children claimed to have received messages from what some Catholic theologians believe was the Virgin Mary. In Fatima, children saw an apparition they said was the Virgin Mary. And 70,000 people came to this same sheep pasture. And people said that they saw a spinning silver disc. The Catholic Church, for a very long time, would not acknowledge what was happening with the children or Fatima. The extraterrestrials give to the children a telepathic message, saying, you are not alone on this planet.
29:38 We are here. We have been here some thousands of years ago. We observe you. Please prepare mankind that we will return again. All this story of Fatima went to the Vatican. But is it possible, as ancient astronaut theorists contend, that the Catholic Church censored the messages that were received in Fatima? The kids were given three messages, and the pope refused. The pope refused to release the third message. The third message apparently talks about extraterrestrial life. Now that is sensational. Because to me, to deny the revelation of that particular message.
30:27 And that is exactly what the pope did. And I wonder why. Some contend that the miracle of Fatima is one of many events described visitations from extraterrestrial messengers. Researchers also point to the voices described by Joan of Arc, visions received in Lourdes by Bernadette Soubirous, and countless stories depicted in the Hebrew Bible, in which similar events are described. Perhaps the Vatican knows far more about life in the universe than they have acknowledged. But does a belief in alien life question the omnipotence of a supreme being? Of course the Vatican knows about extraterrestrial life.
31:18 But to suggest that because extraterrestrials exist, that means there is no God, is total nonsense. Okay. That was obviously a clip, both those clips were from Ancient Aliens, which I highly contest anybody watch, because it's a bunch of baloney. But I think this at least was about 80% right. I think it's fascinating. I can't say what the third Fatima message was. I think that was interesting, if it was about the soon coming of these quote, these are my finger quotes, aliens. But it is interesting what's going on. What do you think, Matthew? I think that if they reveal the third message of Fatima and it says there are extraterrestrials, it could say anything it wants. We know that it can't lead us astray from what the Bible tells us.
32:13 And the Bible doesn't detail any extraterrestrials coming to Earth, giving us wisdom or compassion, or even destroying us. The idea that aliens come and destroy us is not in the Bible. The destruction of this Earth happens at the second coming of Jesus Christ. So if there's any fear that you have of this world being destroyed, and you have a faith in Jesus Christ, pray about it. Because you don't need to be afraid of this world passing away. It is for our benefit. This world is waxed old like a garment, and we can expect it to burn with an intensity. Peter described it as an intensity that even the elements of the air would be on fire. So that's a total destruction. When we look at the Vatican, and we see how they want to control a narrative and push a narrative, and at the same time claim to be having an authority that is vested in them by Jesus Christ, we have to compare what they say to the Word of God.
33:18 We cannot stress this enough to people, because everyone will be forced to make a choice. Everyone will need to make a decision. And that decision can be found in the pages of the Bible and nowhere else. Amen. Wow. 100%. And I think what we're seeing here is, is not aliens, as ancient astronaut theorists have believed. I think we're seeing demonic entities playing with the Catholic Church. And for a long time, maybe they didn't understand what was going on in Fatima. And they didn't know what to say about it. But they came out with the wrong answer. And I think we need to be very careful, especially the Catholic Church, as they try to interpret what's going on here, that they maybe can adopt one of these aliens, as a human would adopt another person.
34:11 So back to Michael Knowles. I want to jump back into Michael Knowles real quick, because I think he is just tiptoeing on the edge of understanding this thing completely. But there's one thing hanging him up right now, and I think that's the understanding of the dead. Because if you understand the dead are truly dead, and not floating around somewhere in Abraham's bosom, or in heaven, or hell, or some awkward place, then it becomes very clear that Genesis 3, the devil tried to convince Eve that you will not surely die, and that's been the lie ever since. So he interviews a lady that used to be a witch, and she has an interesting story. And because she was a witch, she has the truth about what happens when you die. And Michael Knowles, man, he presents both sides of the situation.
35:07 Listen to this. With the whole starseed thing, that just got me obsessed with space, wanting to find my star family. I would do meditations and walk through things to try and connect with those beings. The star? The star people. Did you connect? I had experiences where I felt like I saw things and felt things. Like in my room, they were always like blue. Yeah, really, really strange. Did they have a shape? Long, like the typical, you know, kind of alien that you see in a sci-fi movie, but like not scary, like light. What do you think that was?
35:56 Just a hallucination? To be perfectly honest, a demon. That's my understanding of ghosts, anything of that kind of sort. You don't believe in ghosts? I don't. There's a ghost in the Bible. Is there? So, when Saul goes to the Witch of Endor, Saul has outlawed necromancy, all the stuff that we're talking about right now. Right. And he goes to the Witch of Endor, and he says, summon up a ghost. And she says, no, I can't do that. Saul outlawed it in the land. And he goes, don't worry about Saul, him being Saul. And so she does. And it's a really curious moment because she says, oh my gosh, you've deceived me, because she calls up the ghost of Samuel. And it's a very interesting moment because it seems as though the Witch of Endor is actually sort of surprised by what she's done.
36:46 So it raises the question, was she sort of just a fraud, like a dime store boardwalk psychic, you know, who is just selling nonsense to people? And then all of a sudden she conjures a ghost. But regardless, she does conjure Samuel, and then Saul talks to Samuel. So we have at least one example of a ghost. So I don't know, a lot of times when people, say they've seen a ghost, which has happened many, many times, I wonder if they... It happened to me too when I was little. It did. So I wonder if they're hallucinating, if it's a demon, but I'm not totally sure there aren't ghosts too. Yeah. It's not a hill I'll die on, but... Because then you might become a ghost. Fair. I just, with the alien thing specifically, I think that's the demonic kind of realm that we shouldn't really have any business playing with. And I mean, the Bible says the verse that sticks out to me most coming out of New Age is that Satan himself disguises as an angel of light.
37:42 And that was always what I thought was coming to me. That was my spirit guides. That was my star family. That was my grandmother. You know, it's actually interesting because I had something attached to me for the past, since she died in 2014, because I would call on it. I would say, please come, please come, please come. Like hug me. Like I would feel hugs. I would feel something near me. And after my conversion, if you will, I felt it. I was in the kitchen by myself and I felt it come up next to me. And I said out loud, I said, God, whatever this is that's been posing as grandma for the past seven years, in Jesus's name, get it away from me and never let it come back. And it hasn't been back since. So...
38:29 You said you saw something like a ghost when you were a kid. When I was... Was that the thing that you... No, I saw when I was a kid what I thought was my great-grandpa. So... I was very, very young at the time. And then I kind of... That really spooked me. Yeah. It would. So I kind of like blocked that out. But I always grew up with this interest in the paranormal. So there's something there too. I always sought out scary movies for some reason. Now I kind of want no parts of them. Like why would I entertain it even? Yeah. I always sought out scary movies and like was so big on haunted houses like wanting those thrills. And I... And when I reflect on that, I wonder what that was. Like why was I so interested in terrifying myself essentially.
39:14 Right. Or being interested in demons. But anyway, the starseed thing led me to space which led me to astrology which was really my niche. I remember when my... I'm going to pause it right there for a second. This is interesting because you can see it in his eyes. You can see it in Michael Knowles' eyes when he asked about the grandpa that he's really trying to figure it out. He's really saying, what did you mean by that? What did you see? And she's 100% convinced although she is just coming out of her pagan belief system. She doesn't know a lot of the Bible yet. And Michael Knowles is presenting that idea of the Witch of Endor which is the name of the story in the Bible which presents... she conjures up this thing out of the ground which by the way, God had said, get rid of these things.
40:09 Don't allow this stuff in Israel because this is... you're deceiving yourselves basically. And Saul decides to go to one anyway and is deceived. Do you remember this story? Yes, I do remember this story. And it says specifically in 1 Samuel, that's where the account happens, that Saul perceived it to be Samuel. But then it goes on and it starts saying Samuel said to Saul and Samuel said and Samuel said. So that's where you'll see this argument for him that well, it is really Samuel. But we have to look at the companion piece which would be 1 Chronicles. And that would be found in chapter 10 verses 13 through 14. So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord which he kept not. And also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit to inquire of it.
41:08 And inquired not of the Lord therefore he slew him and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse. So it says here that he was seeking the counsel of one with a familiar spirit and inquired of it. It being the familiar spirit. Not of Samuel. This witch didn't have the power to summon up the dead, to resurrect someone. That power lies solely with God. But they can put on a really good show. They can do really good impersonations. And they can appear to be the person that you desire to speak with. And it seems that that's what was happening with her. Maybe she didn't get to actually see this grandfather spirit. Was it a grandfather or grandmother?
41:54 Grandmother, correct? Grandmother first and grandfather later on. Okay, so these grandparent spirits, they were able to convince her somehow that it was them. And I've had members of my family, it's sad stuff, but I had a cousin who was very close with my grandmother who passed away. And she was very upset because they had made a deal with each other that if she was going to be on the other side that she would flicker some lights or move something around. Just let her know that she was still alive. Because that is the fear. We have a fear of death. And the fear of death makes sense because the Bible says that there's a second death, an eternal death. And that is the death that we should fear. We shouldn't fear the death that comes to us. It could come to us by a mugger who takes you out on the street.
42:44 You can get in a car accident. That type of a death could happen to you. But it's that eternal death, that being thrown into the lake of fire we're meant to fear. And people misdirect that second death fear to the first death fear. And they start wanting to talk to the people who have passed away. They want to be comforted. They want to know. It's more so even then that they themselves will live on. But they're not alone. That they have their loved ones still with them. And it's very sad because there's one who loves you more than that grandparent ever loved you. That's God. Jesus said that he'll be with us until the very end. So he's your companion. You don't need to be looking for a deceased loved one to give you comfort and peace, or to do some type of a sign for you. Jesus has said, I'm going to be with you.
43:32 I am here for you. And you can rely on that promise. 100%. Yeah. Oh, so true. And I feel for the turmoil that people have when they lose someone. Because it's a natural thing for us to want to try to reach out and continue to be comforted by that. But it's also a very dangerous thing because we're not living in a world that's just occupied just by humanity. We wrestle not against flesh and bone, but flesh and blood, but powers and principalities of darkness. So I think that's important to keep in our head because he's a crafty foe. If he can appear as a snake, or inhabit a snake, we're not sure which, he can also appear as also your grandmother, your grandfather, or your relative, or an apostle at the end too. I watched a testimony from a woman who had lost her husband in a tragic plane crash.
44:28 And she was grieving and having a very hard time. But one of the things that helped her in her grieving process was realizing that as much as she wanted to see her husband, God also shared that desire to see her husband. That when we are dead, it's not like we're standing in God's presence and he has access to the love of that person, but you don't. God wants to have that companionship with the deceased. He wants to raise the righteous and bring them to him in the same way that a groom longs for their bride. That is the type of longing that God has for us. To raise us, to be with him, to love him. And he shares that pain. So when you're sitting there and you're missing someone who's deceased, know that God does feel that pain as well. And it's his will that they live again. Amen. Wow. Absolutely. Absolutely.
45:22 Let's jump into Michael Knowles real quick and see what else he has to say because I think we're going to run up on something else that's pretty interesting. I so wanted to talk to her that I googled it. I said, how do you talk to dead people? And I know that you can't talk to dead people. Or that's what I thought then. Now I wonder if you can talk to dead people or at the very least, you can talk to demons masquerading as dead people as has been attested to throughout all of human history. But I started googling it. And it's very tempting. When you're so vulnerable and you're so desperate for something, you'll reach at anything. You'll go to any kind of crazy length at all. And on that particular path, I didn't go nearly as far as you did down it.
46:09 I probably just gave up after not being able to hear spiritual voices and things like that. So that's fascinating. He's actually saying that I went into this and probably not as far as you did, but I know people that went in far. And they come back and they say that their friends and relatives have appeared as friends and relatives to them. Something appeared to them. And they said that everything's light and love on the other side. Light and love is a well-known New Age terminology. There's no one that's going to use that term that is righteous. Because although it is light physically and love physically, this is a well-known term in the occult system. And so I think it's interesting that they would say that. Number two, we have also had alien experiencers, I think they're called, where they have said, we have had this thing appear to us and on the ship while I'm having something terrible done to me, my relative appears to me, my late husband or late wife, I forget which, and they say, and they are used to approve the sexual acts done to them.
47:25 And so you got to wonder if this really is the person that you love, why are they doing this? I don't think it's the person at all. And I think there's plenty of evidence to concretely conclude that although this has been seen throughout all of history, I think it's a gag. It's a demonic prank. And the demons love it. They love it to death. What do you think? They love to make us miserable. They love to manipulate us. They love to pull on our heartstrings. And what's more sinister than taking the form of somebody that you love and trust and have a longing to see and to be there as that person to convince you to do things you otherwise normally wouldn't do? That is something I believe will be part of that deception at the end of time. We'll be visited by these beings. They'll be claiming to be from a distant planet or from another dimension. But I believe they'll say, we have overcome that physical death.
48:32 It's okay. The person you love is still alive. They're just in their spiritual form. We, in our wisdom and our knowledge, have found a way to bring them back. Would you like to see them? Do you want to see them? There are people who have lost their grandparents, and would love to see them, their parents. Imagine the love of a parent for their child. You want to see your child again. I'm a father of two. And if anything were to happen to my children, I would be devastated. And if there came a day where I heard a knocking at my front door and it was the voice of my son asking me to come in, I would have to drop to my knees and beg God to send it away. Because the temptation to open that door and to hold my son would be overwhelming. And the only way that I could overcome that would be through the power of God solely. 100%.
49:30 This was an interesting news clip that came up. And again, this isn't a hit piece on the Catholic Church, but I find it interesting. Because if we're taking what the Pope says as the gospel truth, as these things are benevolent, we need to be able to be kind to them, baptize them. Let's look into what's going on in the papacy. Check this out. Pope Francis lost his temper over a woman converting souls to Christ. And he's still mad. Join us now, Church Builders Rome correspondent, Dr. Jules Gomez. Jules, what's bugging Francis? Brad, Francis met with members of the Barnabite order yesterday. Priests, nuns, and lay members of this very old order.
50:25 And there, very oddly, he talked about how he had lost his temper with a woman who came to him and told him how she converted two people to the Catholic faith. Tell us more about how Francis recounted that particular incident. Well, let me quote his exact words, Brad. This is what he told this audience. He said, I had this, a bad experience, in a youth meeting some years ago. I was coming out of the sacristy and there was a lady, very elegant. You could also see that she was very rich, with a boy and a girl. And this lady, who spoke Spanish, says to me, Father, I'm happy because I converted these two. One is from such a place, and this one is from another place.
51:22 Well, Francis then goes on to say, I got angry, you know. And I said, you didn't convert anything. You disrespected these people. You didn't accompany them. You proselytized. And that's not evangelizing. Well, Francis then tells the Barnabite congregation yesterday, he says, she was proud for converting. Be careful to make a clear decision. There is a distinction between apostolic action and proselytizing. We do not proselytize. The Lord never proselytized. This is what Francis said yesterday. So, first of all, Jules, going back there, now this is recounted yesterday by Pope Francis, but the incident itself probably dated back years, maybe even to when Francis himself was just a priest?
52:16 Absolutely. It's very clear from his exchange that this took place when Francis was a priest in Buenos Aires. Wow, so he's had a problem with this for many, many, many years. Does Pope Francis ever, ever define what he means by proselytizing versus just helping souls, you know, come to the light of the truth and praying for grace and converting like we all must do and continually do in our lives to Christ's edicts and into his Catholic Church? Does he ever define that? Well, Brad, funnily enough, I wrote a column on this topic two years ago for Church Militant. I think we called it Pope Francis' Pet Phantom. And there I gave a number of instances about how Francis had railed against proselytizing, talked about evangelizing, but never, ever made a distinction between the two. He did so briefly.
53:18 Two Jesuits once. But it was very, very vague. So, for example, in 2016, he told a group of Lutherans and Catholics that proselytizing is a sin. He then went on to talk about how proselytizing is the strongest poison against the ecumenical path. You must give testimony of your Christian life but without wanting to convince. I mean, we evangelize or proselytize, whatever word you want to use, to persuade people, which is a term used so often referring to St. Paul's own evangelization in the Acts of the Apostles. He then told his good friend, you know, God rest his soul, who is no more, the Italian journalist, atheist journalist Eugenio Scalfari, he said, proselytism is a solemn nonsense. It makes no sense.
54:17 Well, Francis even berated the hapless children in one of Rome's schools. He told them, you can't tell Jewish and Muslim children come and be converted. We are not in the times of the Crusades. But, Brad, he's never ever made a distinction between the two. And he's never ever told Catholics to go out and convert people to the faith of the apostles. Well, you know, if you talk about proselytizing, the stiff-arming someone, or using penal laws, or like the Islam, you know, conversion by the sword type of thing, I could understand that. But just presenting the truth of the Catholic faith and praying for people, that persuades them itself to accept, to truly convert, not be coerced into the church. I have a hard time understanding where he's coming from.
55:09 But let's pull off for a second. Jules, you have a story very near and dear to your heart. Recall for our viewers a related incident of all this that went on between Pope Francis and a former Anglican bishop. Well, we know that this very famous and very erudite bishop, the Bishop of Rochester, a former Anglican, Bishop Michael Nazir Ali, who is a renowned Islamic scholar, he converted to the Catholic faith fairly recently. And Bishop Michael Nazir Ali was on the Anglican Roman Catholic International Committee for, you know, Dialogue, ARCIC, and produced many of their documents, co-produced many of their documents.
56:04 And when he went and met Pope Francis and said he intends to convert to Catholicism, Pope Francis point-blank told him, stay Anglican, remain in the Church of England, don't become Catholic. Bishop Michael Nazir Ali did not listen to Pope Francis. He did convert, and he's now Monsignor Michael Nazir Ali. Well, yeah, I mean, okay, well, how is the Italian media connecting the dots on the Pope's latest remarks here? What do they see in all this? Well, the Italian media is having a great time emphasizing how Francis loses his temper. And they're talking about how he lost his temper with a Chinese lady and slapped her hand some time ago.
57:00 You can see the video there. She was tugging at his hand quite affectionately, and he slapped her hand. That became international news. He apologized the next day. For doing that, and he said, you know, I do lose my temper sometimes. But he also lost his temper in Mexico. I think it was in 2016 when he was, you know, bending over somebody's wheelchair. And again, more recently, when a woman asked him to bless her dog, he lost his temper and said, you know, people should be having more children, not dogs and cats. So Francis is really known for losing his temper. And people who live with him in Casa Santa Marta tell me that he not only loses his temper, but occasionally flies into outbursts where he uses language that would make a sailor blush.
57:59 But occasionally flies into outbursts where he uses language that would make a sailor blush. I know about that poor lady, the Chinese lady there, that got her hand slapped. She was pleading for the pope to do something about those who were being persecuted for being Catholic in China. And other Christians there were being persecuted as well. Well, before leaving this planet, Jules, Christ's final marching order to the apostles was to baptize and teach all nations to observe whatsoever I have commanded. And that was at the end of Matthew's Gospel. At the end of Mark's Gospel, he adds, he that believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believes not shall be condemned. It seems like converting souls, Jules, to accept the church that Christ himself established is kind of essential to this great commission.
58:53 Well, Brad, if you go to the Jesuit Generalate in Rome, you will see a huge statue of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, and below the statue are very beautiful words in Latin in the English translation says, go forth and ignite the world. Now, next to that statue is a red fire extinguisher. And when Pope John Paul II visited the Jesuit Generalate in 1983, he rightly remarked on the apt juxtaposition. Saint Ignatius saying, go forth and ignite the world. And the Jesuits now having a red fire extinguisher, trying to douse the flames of whoever seeks to go forth and ignite the world with the gospel.
59:45 And remember, Francis is the archetypal Jesuit, Brad. Wow, wow, I think you really hit something there, Jules. That's quite the insight from the great John Paul II. Jules, thank you very much for reporting on all this with such great clear context. So, Matthew, this is fascinating. I mean, there's a number of things. I thought it was kind of comical that they have a fire extinguisher, too, beside the go and light the world part. But there's a number of things that are fascinating about this. And I wanted to include that whole long spiel because I thought it was just interesting. Did you have anything that stuck out to you? The whole idea that proselytizing and evangelism and that there's a juxtaposition between the two. So we have the definition of evangelism. Evangelism, the spreading of the Christian gospel by public preaching or personal witness.
1:00:36 And then you have, proselytizing, convert or attempt to convert someone from one religion, belief, or opinion to another. And those guys hit on something really profound that the Great Commission, as it's known amongst most Christians, to go forth and teach all, sorry, to go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you unto even the end of the world. And that's the conclusion of Matthew's gospel. Do you think that the rest of the world didn't have an opinion? They didn't have a stance that they had already taken that would need to be questioned and a conversion that would need to take place? Absolutely not. Proselytizing goes hand in hand with evangelism, so I don't know how he can say one is a sin but the other one is acceptable. It's a funny place to be in. Well, it's also interesting, too, because I think we kind of know where all this is going, and that's towards an ecumenical movement of all religions together.
1:01:45 So he's essentially saying, hey, look, I don't care what you are, you guys are all coming down under the same umbrella eventually anyway, whether you are by name a Catholic or you're not, you're going to become Catholic in that you're going to believe everything we're going to believe. So don't worry about trying to change a name. I'm going to be your leader anyway. And I think, I don't know whether he knows that or not, but that's what the Bible says is happening right now. And that's why it's very dangerous at the end of time. I mean, this is all part of Starfall. I haven't pronounced anything new. This is all StarfallMovie.com. At the very end of it, if a leader stands up and he's like, hey, everyone come together under one umbrella because we want to prevent some bad things from happening on Earth, that's called an ecumenical movement.
1:02:38 And it's going to happen, folks. And the Pope is ready to accept you whether you are protesting him or not. So I think it falls right in line with what prophecy says. Yes. I think it suits him for an Anglican to remain an Anglican if they're in the position of leadership because the whole idea of the ecumenical church is that Rome is the mother and all of the others are simply disobedient children who have gone astray and need to come back in line with mother and to listen to her and obey her. So it's okay if you go by some name. That's fine as long as you're obeying the precepts of the Roman Catholic Church and not the precepts of Jesus Christ. So Ignatius, the statue that had go forth and set the world on fire was a statue from Ignatius of Loyola. Ignatius of Loyola was the founder of the Jesuit priesthood and he has some very interesting meditation techniques. Meditation techniques that have evolved over time to what we would consider people in the New Age doing.
1:03:53 He would say to sit there and if you wanted to have more fear against sinning to imagine yourself in hell. You'd sit there and meditate on it. See hell. See the fire. Smell hell. Smell the burning. Hear the screaming. Put yourself in hell. Feel the heat around you. This is one of his exercises. So the type of fire that Ignatius of Loyola was saying to light the world on fire with wasn't the holy fire of God. It wasn't the Holy Spirit. It was strange fire. We're going to see a lot more strange fire in these end times. That's absolutely true. That's absolutely right. I think this has been eye opening to go through and look at some of these clips that were just recently put out.
1:04:40 I mean this isn't, this isn't, most of these are not old news. And so I think this is fascinating. If you found this interesting hit that like button.
